Ive been renting a unit for a few months from them and I have zero complaints. The new managers that just took over seem really nice and went out of there way to help me the other day when the power went out the gate wouldnt open but the manager came down when they were closed and opened the gate up so people could get to their units, that what I call customer service!!! Good job!!!

My grandma went to go rent a unit as she was moving into an assisted living facility and couldnt take everything with her. Carl and Theresa were very accommodating and super friendly. They worked to get her the best deal she could and find the right sized unit, they didnt try to talk her into getting things she didnt need. Id highly recommend them to others! Definitely will stick with them!

I didn’t know how long I needed storage but Theresa found me a deal for 3 months. My first was prorated as it was at the end of the month the unit was clean a Carl checked to make sure it was before I got it. Theresa and Carl were very friendly and kind to talk to and Theresa explained everything I only ended up needing the unit for a little over a week so I was prorated the time I used and should be getting my refund check in the mail soon.Friendly knowledgeable and clean. A+ from me.

We just had to get a second storage with Iron Gate and they are the nicest staff around. They looked into what would fit our needs and dint offer more than we needed just to get more money. The units are very clean and well maintained. If you need storage, please look into this Iron Gate facility first.

This storage facility is great. Its clean and dry. Easy access to storage unit. People in the office are very friendly and helpful. I live in Portland but prefer to store my things in Vancouver. Price and service are excellent.

When the 18-wheeler moving truck showed up, it was too big to get to the storage unit I had reserved. Jon & Kristin immediately found a closer unit the truck could get to. Kayla was both informative and kind. When it came to actually moving our belongings to the unit, we realized it was too small, so they promptly found another unit that met our needs and we were in it in a matter of 15 minutes. The prices are more than fair and the security is sound. I recommend!!

Conveniently located for our storage needs! Heather - the employee that helped us pick out our unit - was courteous, professional, and helped find the best deal for our storage unit. The location it self feels very safe and secure. The units are well lit, and even the inside units are VERY easily accessible for moving. I would highly recommend this place to others!

So glad I went with Iron Gate today. We had looked online and found they had best price available for starters. Read some reviews and 90% of them are positive.Jaron was in office this morning. I let him know what we needed and price I had seen online. Jaron hooked us up with an even better rate and made sure we saved the most amount of money possible. Made the whole process super easy and explained everything so easy to understand. I left knowing exactly what I was paying and why. As a bonus our unit is super easy to get in and out with any size vehicle. Owners live on site and security is great.

I packed up my stuff and moved it into a storage unit at Iron Gate; jumped on a 1 way flight to NY with a suit case. Iron Gate has been amazing! Building a new life in New York was a lot of hard work and sleepless nights but I never had to worry about me belongings back in Oregon. I fly in and take little by little to my new home and the staff is AMAZING, so helpful and nice. They call me their Brooklyn Girl, I am so thankful that this experience has been so positive and a breeze. I highly recommend Iron Gate Storage and recommend them with the greatest support.Thank you for taking care of my memories and belongings while they are not in my home.Much appreciation.

I recently had a issue with the Iron Gate facility on 4th plain, turns out it was a misunderstanding on both sides. Curtis (management) immediately contacted me and resolved the issue. I will continue to recommend Iron Gate, this is my 3rd time renting at Iron Gate and as with every previous time my experience has been wonderful each time. The units are always very clean and secure. I forgot to lock my unit and within hours I received a call from a staff member that they had put a lock on my unit and it would be secured until I came back. Again THANK YOU Curtis for contacting me and thank you to the staff for keeping my valuables secure.

Missed a payment due to an unforeseen temporary shutdown at work. Contacted them to attempt to arrange payment options so I could get caught up. They refused to accept anything other than a single payment that would cover my balance in full. Before I could earn enough to cover the full charge, my next payment came due. Unable to cover 2 payments at once, this put me 2 months behind. One day before I got paid so I could cover 2 payments in one shot, the third payment came due, putting me 3 months behind. It doesnt matter to them that I now have cash on hand for 2 months plus, because I dont have enough to cover all 3 months in one payment, my unit is going up for auction. Their lack of cooperation with taking partial payments is ridiculous. I believe its just a way theyve devised so they can steal the belongings of people who have fallen behind but are honestly trying to pay their bill.

In addition, Ive also rented a Penske truck from Iron Gate twice. Everyone Ive dealt with here has been friendly, helpful, and professional; Id definitely recommend them for any of the services they provide.

At exactly closing time (& I mean to the exact minute) on whatever day of the week it is, the gate locks. It locks you in & your gate code becomes useless. I punched my code in at 9:02 pm & was unable to leave the premises. The property managers were non responsive.As their hostage you will need to phone Chappelles Towing then wait for the driver to get there to release your for a fee of approximately $50.I cant believe this practice is legal but somehow theyve managed it.However their monthly fees are fantastic

I wish I could give this place no stars. The management is incredibly rude and dishonest. My bill was due on the 11th and I called 2 days prior to let them know I get paid on the Thursday the 16th and would pay then, one man who claimed to be a manager said he notated my account and I would not be charged a late fee. The 11th comes around and my husband tries to go to our unit but they won’t let him to OUR STUFF because we didn’t pay yet. I called to ask them to let him in and the woman who also said she was a manager said not until I pay my bill plus my $20 late fee. I explained what the guy said and she said “hunny if you get paid Thursday it’s tuesday do you’re late” extremely condescending and told me she had no clue why he would tell me there wouldn’t be a late fee and I couldn’t get it refunded even the day of which I ended up paying same day. I moved my stuff out of the unit 5 days later and since it was middle of July I asked for half my July rent or at least my late fee back and they refused even though all my belongings were covered in ants. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Do not rent here if you are on a fixed income and elderly. My mother in law has been renting here for over a year and even though her payment is due on the 3rd of the month they decided to take the payment on the 1st of the month. Her bank paid the charge but it also cost her a 35.00 overdraft fee. She is on fixed income and cant afford the extra 35.00. Of course the lady in the office blamed the bank. Recurring payment is now stopped but extremely bad customer service to a loyal customer who always pays on time just because they wanted the money 2 days before payment was even due. Protect yourself!!! Dont set up recurring payment just pay on due date. They blame others for everything so that they dont have to admit they screwed up.

After three days, seven calls to U-Haul and still no truck, Jon from Penske came through! He was professional, courteous and followed up after there wasnt a truck available at first. It was clear that he was sincerely trying to help me. How refreshing! Thanks to Jon at Penske for his great service, very much appreciated!

I rented a unit on July 17th due to being unemployed and needing to store all of my furnishings so I could live with my daughter for awhile. Per the contract I did not have access and would not be using the unit until the 28th. On the 20th I got a job, thank goodness, and called to cancel my unit on the 21st. The manager (Don) informed me that there are no refunds. I could understand this if I had moved my things in to the unit or even if I had access at that point, but access wasnt even granted to me yet because the contract wasnt effective until the 28th! This is a very GREEDY company and I would never rent from them again and would not recommend this company!
