I was able to take my car in and get it repaired the same day. Staff was friendly and explained everything they were doing. After my car was fixed they called a couple days later to make sure everything was running well. Office was clean and nice. Definitely will be returning for any future car maintenance/problems.

My car started to over heat on the way to work one day, so my step dad took a look and said there might be a fuse blown. Took it to this place and spent 130 bucks for them to tell me i had an old battery and for them to waste half a tank of gas and hold it for 2 days. Again, my car over heats and dies on the way home from work. I call this guy to see if i can get in for another consultation and he sasses me when i tell him i think its a problem with the alternator. The only way i knew it was a problem with the alternator was that AAA told me as well as a diagnostic test i got the same day at Les Schwab. He actually sighed over the hpone when i told him this.If you want to waste your time and money and be treated like a nuisance i would recommend this shop.

If this place is near you, make it your shop. Never been taken for a ride and explains what needs to be done really well!! In fact diagnosed and fixed a problem in a day that a different shop couldnt find or fix in months.

Al came to my home late in the evening to get my Suburban running for me. It needed a fuel pump and work on my headlights. Had it running temporarily in no time and set an appointment for me to make permanent repairs. Very nice to work with and more than reasonable cost of the repairs. We will definitely use him again. My first and last visit. I feel the staff would have taken totally advantage of me if I would have allowed this shop rip me off. Even what they charged me was a rip off. I have to laugh because the shop is called honest 1. Which when anyone that hasn’t been ripped off or doesn’t know about how dishonest they are need to be reported, just as I have. I’m a black American female, I know they really wanted me to agree to be ripped off. That’s one reason I reported it.

Crooked low life sc..m. Ive never been scammed more by any other mechanic shop in my life. OEM code check you can get for free from Autozone they wacked me 200.00 for. They never even brought my rig into the shop. Total scam. Im a certified mechanic without the computer. All i needed was a hard reset after rebuild. I will never forget how you treated us. I watched from the parking lot as you literally spent leas than 6 minutes on my burb. Buyer beware!! Take notice of the fake 5 star reviews by owners, employees and fake accounts. Nice try!

I have used Johns Foreign Car service for several years and their service has always been the best. They wont fix something if it isnt wrong. They do an excellent job and they stand behind their work. Recently, we had an issue, and John wasnt sure that it was their fault, but he stood behind the work and fixed our car. Last week my car started acting up. After my lunch at work I went to park and noticed I was smoking pretty badly. Then there’s all my coolant I had just put in leaking out onto the ground. I was in Oregon City. I don’t trust mechanics much and especially these places like jiffy lube I would never bring an issue like a coolant system to their establishments. So I got a tow back to my home in Vancouver. Luckily a 10 min drive. Which my car was running fine as long as it was short trips and gentle driving. For the time being.That’s how many good things I’ve heard about this place, to get a tow, to bring it specifically here.Car issues are tough and these days it’s expensive. It’s nice to know there’s good and fair mechanics out there and I think anyone in the area looking for a solid mechanic should go here.Thank you so much again.

I have had nothing but great experiences with this shop. Its not a flashy shop, but they are honest(extremely) and they do quality work. When your bill comes out lower than the quote, it gives you a lot of confidence in the integrity of the shop. I have used them three times and each time I have been very happy.

I been going to Johns foreign auto repair for over 3 years now for my oil changes and any car issues that come up. They have always provided excellent customer service. The price is always reasonable. Three years ago my turbo went out on my car and the owner personally gave me a ride home once my car was dropped off. I had a great experience using Johns for diagnosis and repair of a fluid leak in my Volvo XC90. I was told by another shop that I needed a new main seal but I wanted the opinion of someone who actually works on Volvo. I suspected that I had a power steering fluid issue and Johns team concurred. It was fixed quickly at a fair price.

I had my car service from the previous owner and had a good experience so I was reluctant to leaving my car with the new owners.I had a bit of a problem in the beginning with a faulty part, these guys made it right. Rocky even came and rescued me when I got stranded in an intersection, gave me A car to drive back to the shop AND gave me a ride back home. They replaced the faulty part over the weekend and the car ran great. I was a little shaken up by the experience so it took me a couple months to trust the car again. Now the car runs great and Im super happy with it. Accidents happen ago that matters to me is righting the wrong. Rocky and Chris absolutely did, Rocky even called twice in the month after the service to double check the car was OK. Its so nice to know that a mechanic stands behind his work. I trust if anything ever were to happen again they would be happy to help. Overall nice guys and high level of customer service and integrity. Thanks A-1!

Ive been going here for a lot of years. John is always fair, direct and gets the job done. Does not pull any punches and has a wealth of air-cooled (VW and Porsche) and overall foreign car knowledge. Highly recommended.

Had car for over three weeks to replace a belt I called regularly they did not call me.I picked the car up and was told the wood was not closing and it was wired down, hood was not secured hood flew up damaged hood completely when iI called owner stated he forgot to tell me the alternator was out ( which was only 1.5 years old less that two years ) and the I could not start may car all they did was install a serpentine belt and A/C unit which I paid for / supplied and I was Charged 520, dollarsI was told all they would do is no charge for alternator installation though I would be paying for an alternator No refund No will come jump you car or help Not a Good experience would not suggest this business

I was very pleased when I recently had my ignition fixed. The shop not only fixed my problem, but fixed another issue at no cost. I was impressed by their knowledge, and friendliness. Would I go there again, you bet!

We don’t take our car here anymore because every time we did, they never got to the root of the problem with our AC system, they’d band-aid fix it by refilling the Freon (or whatever it is).

Took my Mercedes to these guys. Its a fairly rare model, so its hard to trust mechanics. I was pleased with the integrity of the friendly staff. They tuned it up with great service and honest solid customer service.

Dropped of my 1995 Trooper (my camping rig) to have them look at the loose steering cuz I needed to haul a trailer. They fixed it right up and didnt try to add other things to the list that didnt need attention -unlike a dealership which will replace things that dont need replaced. They could have told me i needed front end suspension parts but they were honest about everything. They even told me about an oil leak that needed attention and gave me a quote. I already knew about the leak and the cost involved to fix it. It was right on the money. These guys are fair and great to work with !! Thanks John, Emmen and Margie

Horrible service! My daughter brought her car here because it was having transmission issues. She paid for a diagnosis and then paid for them to fix what they said was wrong. Oops they diagnosed it incorrectly. So she basically gave them $2200.00 and her car still has transmission issues. Just said oh well. Sounds to me like that took advantage of a young girl.

My girlfriend took her car in to have a rattle looked at, and while they found and fixed the problem they sent her away with a new cheap air filter even though we have a K&N installed. So instead of simply telling her it needed to be cleaned they charged her an extra $15 for a generic air filter that we didnt need. She took it back and they gave her the $15 back and replaced the K&N however it took even more time out of her day and cost them me as a customer, which is too bad because I have a bunch of work I need done. Shouldnt have gone for the easy money...

Do not be fooled by this feckless mechanic. My wife and I took our car into Johns shop, and they did not even look at it for three days. We dropped it off on a Tuesday and when I finally called him on Friday, he said and I quote I havent gotten around to looking at it yet. What a sham!

Long story short, I honestly wish I had taken my car somewhere else.

I was charged $215 in labor($445 total) for an oil change,battery installation and charge to A/C.The mechanic stripped the threads on drain plug for the oil and of course it was not their fault.I am also still without A/C because they never did the job I paid for.They wasted 3 days of my time with their B.S.My odometer now has 15 extra miles on it also.John is your stereotypical arrogant mechanic who laughs at his own stupid jokes and thinks everyone is a sap waiting to betaken advantage of.
