I really enjoyed my visit at Vision Source today!! From the minute I got there to checking out all the staff was super friendly, professional, on time, and very thorough! The facility is very clean from the waiting area, exam room, to the optical side. The optical side has a nice selection on frames. If you choose Vision Source you will not regret it!!
Great experience! From check in to the initial vision screening all the way to the Dr. I was impressed with the attention to making great hand offs from each team member. The Dr was very intentional to ensure if I had any questions, they would be answered.
Just amazing help. From out of town and my teen forgot her daily contacts. Called them and within minutes was in their office with a copy of the prescription and they had me set up with a few days supply to get her through. I am most grateful, they saved the day. Pleasant welcome at the front desk and the contact lens person was so quick to call me back and help us. Awesome.
Excellent small office eye care. Dr. Henley does a great job getting prescriptions just right, explaining the purpose and results of an exam and providing timely service. After several bad experiences with other eye care facilities, I a have been more than satisfied with the professionalism of the staff here
After searching and searching for a reputable optometrist who accepted my vision insurance, I landed on VisionSource of Tulsa. I had a fantastic experience from walking in the door and being greeted at the front desk, having my vision screenings, consulting with Dr. Lawson regarding my vision concerns, picking out frames/lenses and paying for my exam - start to finish was a stellar experience. My family has found OUR optometrist! Give VisionSource of Tulsa a shot…you won’t be sorry!
Was referred to Vision Source by a coworker after an insurance change. Wish I had known about them “years” ago. Nice office, exceptional people, exceptionally thorough evaluation, unlike what I have had at other mass market providers. No long waits due to getting an appointment. No rush rush evaluation because the lobby is full, no self service, shoulder to shoulder rush in selecting frames, and not what you see is what you get selection of frames. You get personal assistance on fit, look and lense selection for what you need, not what you can be sold, plus they take “all” eye insurance plans. When you leave you feel like they truly care about your service and experience rather than just another person to herd through the process. Buying glasses does not have to feel like you just bought a car. Give them a try.
I have been extremely pleased with Vision Source and all staff involved in my care. I get regular updates through texts, and phone calls. The staff has been very patient and understanding. Dr. Terry Lawson and Dr. Kacy Henley did an excellent job diagnosing and explaining my condition, and providing solutions.
What a clean, beautiful office! I had seen my previous optometrist for 25 years and I thought it was fine but he recently retired and I was forced to switch. Honestly, I wish I had started at Vision Source sooner! Office was very high tech, Dr. Lawson was very thorough, and everyone was so pleasant.
Thank you very much for all your help and
Dr. Watkins and her staff are efficient, professional, yet friendly and attentive to my inputs and comments as a patient. She explains the results of the initial tests clearly, and makes sure your questions and concerns are fully addressed. Ive been a patient for several years, and would recommend this group to anyone needing vision care.
My family and I have been patients of Dr Lawson and Dr Watkins for several years and have been very pleased with the quality of services we have received. In addition, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Vision Source Tulsa to others!
It had been four years since I had been to any eye doctor and really just picked Vision Source because they were the closest to work that took my insurance. I am SO glad I did. Excellent staff and extremely helpful. Dr. Lawson was awesome. Very knowledgeable and was even able to find a eye nevus that hadnt been seen before. I had my contacts before I walked out the door and his staff were even able to compare prices quickly and switch things around so I would get the best price for glasses and contacts. Highly Recommended!
The staff at Vision Source was very helpful and patient. Dr. Henley did a great job and was very kind. I liked how she explained everything and took her time to make sure I didnt have any more questions or needs.
The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. My children and I have seen both doctors and have gotten outstanding care. They each took time to fully explain everything. I will definitely be a returning customer.
State of the art equipment and well trained techs! Dr. Lawson is sharp! he takes the time to discuss your condition. I have a rare eye disease and he was very knowledgeable about it! I highly recommend him.
I have been visiting Dr. Lawson for several years and have never had a bad experience. I believe they know their business and would recommend anyone to visit their practice!
Dr. Lawson has state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment offered by only a few eye doctors in the state. It enabled him to diagnose a condition early enough to minimize my chances of serious harm. I was referred by a friend who, along with her mother, had a serious eye condition. Both were diagnosed early and treated by Dr. Lawson with good results. After shopping around, I returned to their office and made my purchase from their broad selection of competitively-priced eyeglasses. I highly recommend Dr. Lawson and his staff.
Everyone is friendly and helpful. Dr. Lawson is so great. He takes the time to show all the results of your tests and goes into great deatail to make sure you understand.
Dr Cheri Watkins is always extremely friendly, and thorough. The staff has been helpful any time I have needed anything, from contacts to glasses and even with understanding my two insurances.
I am a healthcare professional myself, so I study healthcare offices, systems, and peoples behavior. I was very pleased with my experience. The office is filled with technology and the doctor and staff use it to help the patients. I am a CRT wearer and love the expertise the doctor shows in this area.
Called to schedule an appointment as a new patient. Receptionist answered then put me on hold. Came back started asking routine questions, then cut me off while I was talking to put me on hold again. Came back, then put me on hold again. Came back and finished routine questions. She gave me the website and directions to fill out the new patient paperwork. As Im repeating the directions back to her while also doing them online, she hangs up on me while Im still talking. I immediately called back and cancelled my appointment. She was so rude and very unprofessional.
My experience was excellent. Dr. Lawson was marvelous, as was his staff. He is equipped with the most modern technology. I wish I had started going to him sooner.
Dr. Lawson and his team are some to the friendliest, courteous, and well educated optometric staff I have ever had the opportunity to visit. Highly recommend!
Ive been seeing Dr. Lawson for many years and have always been completely satisfied with the caring service he and his staff have always provided. With the technological upgrades in his equipment, he discovered I had the beginnings of macular degeneration. I now take a capsule of Macu Health every day and the annual exam has indicated the disease is basically gone! Thanks you, Dr. Lawson!
Im new to the club of needing eyeglasses. I have only been wearing them for about four years. I spent my first four years going to a popular optometrist because I have been hearing their advertisements for years. But I eventually realized that I may not have been getting the best care. I had nothing else to compare it to. So when it came time for my annual exam visit, I decided to look for somewhere that would give me higher quality care. I did some research online for in-network providers and found Vision Source. When I read the reviews, I learned that Vision Source uses technology to help diagnose their clients needs. I also learned that the staff take their time to make sure your needs are being met. These were things I were looking for. I stare at a screen about 16 hours a day so I want to make sure that I am getting the best care for my eyesight. So I booked an appointment. After a short wait in the waiting room, I was taken back and had a completely different experience than I have ever had. I didnt feel rushed. I actually connected with each person. I felt like my care was a top priority. I didnt feel like a number being rushed through a cattle call.I learned new things about the condition of my eyesight and getting the glasses I needed was a breeze. While I was choosing my frames I got tired and started to sweat quite a bit. I asked if they had any water. My consultant went and got me ice water, turned down the AC and made sure I was comfortable while I made a decision on how I would invest in my next pair of glasses. My wife and daughter also wear glasses and I know that I will be bringing them here for their next exam and glasses.
From the time i checked in, to the time i checkout it was a great experience. I felt treated very well by the eye doctor, who took time to explain what was going on with my eyes
****DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME & MONEY****If you are someone like me that appreciates a good customer service and professionalism, this place is NOT FOR YOU. Let me tell you my experience, I work 2 jobs, and currently I am getting my master’s degree at ORU. So I don’t SPEND my money before shopping around and researching.I called my insurance provider “Community Care” and I was told that I get one free exam per year. So I started researching places to go that’s when I came across Source Vision. I saw some good reviews on here a few of them not so good. I called them to set up an appointment. When I called, the front desk lady even gave me a website to fill out the paper work in advance. So when my appointment comes around they didn’t even know or bothered to print my paper work before hand. I had to remind them that I had done the paper work already online. But that’s okay! Not big dealI made clear to them that all I wanted was the contacts prescription and that I would purchase my contacts & glasses somewhere else.A blonde lady very nice & polite took me to the back did a few tests. Then Doctor Watkins comes in do a few more exams. She asked me to try a contact pair and then she does a few more exams. (In my mind I was like –why is she asking me to try them on. Because those are not even the Brand or the style that I was going to purchase but whatever.)After Dr. Watkins is done she gives me the tryout contact and I walk my way to the cashier. The cashier tells me it was $85 dollars for the “fitting service”. I was very disturbed because ONE – I was NEVER told there was a fee for contacts fitting. I made VERY clear when I first called I WAS going for the free annual eye exam that my insurance provided. This contacts fitting service was NEVER even explained to me. They just went ahead and decided that I wanted one. So when I was in the cashier I WAS UPSET but I didn’t want to make a scene so I went ahead and paid.So on the ride back home I kept thinking why did I JUST PAID this money. WHEN THEY DIDN’T EVEN TOLD ME there was a fee for the contact fitting.I asked a few co-workers about their experience with vision places. Everyone was kind shocked how they ONLY had tried one contact and didn’t even mentioned or explained the full service. So I asked my husband to call the place and see if they could refund my money. The manager “Buffy” explained the situation to him and the service that was provided but she also agreed that there WAS a confusion & MISS COMMUNICATION on their part. So she agreed to refund the money if we brought the contacts & prescription back. When my husband and I walked in the Vision Source to get our refund. We talked with the nice & polite blonde lady. She ended up going in full details about the service that was provided. I agreed with her that they did provided the service but I wish I had the option to choose if I wanted that service or not. Instead of them just adding that service without consulting me. We ended up coming within an agreement that they would refund us half of the money. Which I thought was fair for both.** PLEASE READ THIS SECTION THAT IS THE MAIN REASON WHY I AM WRITING THIS POST **So FROM no where this old man comes with THE NASTIEST AND DISGUSTING ATTITUDE that I ever seen. It’s Dr. Terry L. Lawson. He said that they were NOT GOING to give us the refund. (WHEN WE HAD ALREADY AGREED with that blonde lady that we were going to go half on the money)To be honest, I don’t even have words to explain how RUDE this MAN was. THE WORST customer service I ever EXPERIENCED in my life. My husband started going back and forth with him. They ended up giving us half of the money as AGREED before. BUT this man was acting CRAZY!I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO INSIDE THAT PLACE.The way Dr. Lawson CONDUCTS business, he will be running out ofit pretty soon!
Rude staff. Carmen the lady at the front was super rude. I left and went some where else in Tulsa Hills. She didnt give the right directions and told me I was late and had to wait. I went to Tulsa hills family eye and they put me right in
Called in for a few questions about my prescription and the service was very rude and unhelpful.
Dont waist your time. NO customer service in place by Dr. Terry L. Lawson. Hes a douchebag
