Buying a car can be exhausting. The process is long and requires a lot of patience. Dean Heffelman made the process enjoyable! Dean was our Sales Consultant and from the get-go made me and my daughter feel comfortable and heard. My daughter was looking for her first car that she could finance and pay for, all on her own. Dean helped her find the right car for a good deal and most importantly, didnt pressure her to buy something she couldnt afford. We will definitely revisit Volkswagen of Tucson in the future when shopping for a new/used car! Thanks Dean!!

I give them a one star because I requested a cancellation for the maintenance of my car. I didn’t receive the amount I was supposed to get. They didn’t tell me anything about a cancellation fee. I had gotten the $140 plan which is two oil change, two rotation of tires, and two washes. I used only one oil change, one rotation of tires, and one wash. I filled out the cancellation form and only received $6.56 to deposit in my bank account. The mileage of my car hasn’t hit to get an oil change which it’s supposed to be 89,000 mileage. I clearly don’t find this fair considering that before this I went twice to the dealership to get an oil change before asking for a refund and the guy didn’t want to give me the service either. I got the same guy twice that I went and didn’t want to assist me.

I have bought two vehicles from this dealership. I wont buy another one. The sale part of the transaction is fine. In fact, not as long and painful an experience as some dealerships. Its after the sale they fall apart.For as much money as new vehicles cost, youd think they would want to maintain a good relationship with their customers, to generate repeat business.In our case, they only returned our calls when we expressed an interest in buying another vehicle. Not once when we had a question about the vehicle we already had. And this latest one, the tags never showed up in the mail. They told me it wasnt their problem and contact AZDOT. I had to pay for a replacement tag.Regretfully, I will have to continue to deal with them for my services. I wish that wasnt the case.

I purchased a 2021 Tiguan on 9/18/21. I just wanted to take some time to acknowledge Luis Ramos. I was referred to him by my parents whom also purchased a vehicle from him a month back. I just want to say, he handled everything with so much professionalism. He took the time to answer each and every question and concern. He is very knowledgeable and his customer service is truly outstanding. Mind you, we live in Avondale, AZ and we drove all the way to Tucson for both of these purchases. I am beyond happy with my new vehicle, so were my parents. Thank you Luis Ramos for going above and beyond!

The customer service is horrible. They are quick to sell you a car but can careless about customers after. I went back 30hrs after purchase because I realized the car was not a great fit for myself and my family. Instead of taking the car back I get a turned shoulder from management Dallas Penrod and pretty much said oh well it’s done. They did not do anything to help my situation other than giving me a “too bad” . Instead of taking car back they want me to trade in for a car I can not afford. First time buying from a dealership and I feel taken advantage of and I will never do it again nor send family or friends to go through that. Larry H Miller Tucson auto mall

I call and email numerous times to get my brand new car a repair for numerous factory problems, and can’t get through to anybody for weeks. Service and financing both don’t answer despite sending up to 5 emails on several different days. Once finally responding, I am told that I have to drop my car off on the lot for 4 weeks on a repair that another dealership said would take 1 day to do. For something as important as financing, I would hope that the financing assistant would get back to me…

It was great buying the car and it’s a great car and I love it, but the service department can be rude, disrespectful, and unhelpful. They have no communication with each other on what services they do to your car, never put notes in their systems. I really wish they would hire people that really know how to do the job properly. It’s a shame to have such a great product of a car but have to go to a horrible company with the worse customer service ever. Do not deal with a guy named Manny at the auto mall location! He was horrible with me, then while waiting there for my car I hear and watched him get aggressive with an older gentleman who just didn’t understand him at first. That’s not how you treat customers especially an older gentleman! Manny needs more education on respect! I’ll be finding somewhere else to buy my next Volkswagen!

The service dept has really gone down hill I schedule a appointment to have work done that should have taken 8hrs to do and explained how important getting the car back was it was my only car so I had to rent one while it was in the shop I was told if I got it to them Thursday it would be done Saturday at the latest. I got a call Friday that they would not start it for about a week later and had nothing but excuses. Left it with them another week and got list of $3000 additional Repairs that werent really needed. Like cabin air filter and the air filter that was just changed last month they wanted 500 just to do a motor mount they had to remove to do the timing belt and the motor mount only costs between 40 and 75 anywhere else. After 2 weeks of excuses I finally got the car back It has been good so far but the service writers are a joke and did nothing to help definitely not going back or recommending to any one else

Car Service was fine. The people were doing there job, but I was displeased with the overall customer service. What Ive learned is looking for honesty and care in this business is non existent. My expectations were too high for them considering I was a paying customer. Dropped my car on a Friday, was told it wouldnt be until Monday or Tuesday it would be seen was fine. Showed up Tuesday to see if my car was going to be seen that day just be told by an advisor that they never told me that. From then I was very dissatisfied going forward

Every time I need an oil change or a check up on an item the staff here has been very helpful. They explain in detail what needs to be done. They let me know if there are current deals on oil packages ( like buy one get one). Prices seem to be comparable to taking car to regular car shop for oil change. When work does need to be done they tell me if it’s something that is serious or can wait, and how long I can wait if applicable. I’ve been going to them for the past 4 cars/10 years.

The work was completed quickly after receiving the diagnosis-unfortunately dropping it off was a problem. There is a sign outside that says no appointment necessary, but the service rep that came out to help me made it clear that they were not interested in my business-he kept telling me it would be 2 weeks until they could look at my car (my car is under warranty). He said I can take it home until they can see it-I told him the check engine light was on and I did not want to continue driving it-I told him I did not want to void my warranty by continuing to drive the vehicle after the check engine light was on-he said thats a chance youre going to have to be willing to take-if you continue to drive it the problem could get worse. That infuriated me, fortunately we have more than just one car and I told him I was leaving the vehicle.They use text messages to give you information about the diagnosis which is great-when Im at work I can not always answer a phone call.The vehicle had a diagnosis and work was finished in 4 days. I am happy with the work that was completed (which was under warranty).

I recently had an exceptionally positive experience with the service department. More specifically with Jason Kays the service advisor I worked with. I brought my new Tiguan in due to a rather significant rattle coming from the passenger door area. Jason informed me that the service department was so backed up that I would need to make an appointment and come back to have the problem evaluated and resolved later in the month To say the least, I was not happy and made it clear to Jason. In spite of my rather poor behavior, Jason took it upon himself to take a quick drive with me and identified where the rattle was coming from. Much to my relief, as we continued to drive, he also figured out what was actually causing the rattle. We arrived back at the service area and I assumed I would need to make an appointment to bring my vehicle back at a later date. Again, Jason came to the rescue and said let me drive it to the service bay and have one of the technicians look at it, I think it might be a quick fix. He returned in less than 5 minutes and it was all taken care of. No more rattle!!In this day and age where good service seems to be a lost art, Jason set the standard for not only good service, but actually GREAT service!! He definitely should commended for going the extra mile turning what might have been a bad experience for me into one that was really a wonderful one!!I cant say enough about how well Jason handled the entire situation. Its through his efforts that I am happy to give the Larry Miller VW service department 5 stars!!

He worked with the tire warranty each and every time to make sure that the warranty covered the cost of the new tire. I made an appointment and yet waited over 2 1/2 hours for an oil and filter change and tire rotation. Should not have taken that long with an appointment. Walk in? Sure. But not with an appointment. To top it off, my tires never got rotated. Paid for it though. I’ll be calling them to correct the payment on my service. Satisfied? Nope. I’ll go elsewhere for my service here on out.

The service performed was up to par as usual. Andrew, as always, was a pleasure to work with. I prefer working with him because hes always very customer oriented and provides the best customer service possible.Now, what I did NOT like was seeing that, in the height of this Covid-19 pandemic, all of the customers were wearing masks inside the dealership, but none of the service desk attendants (except Andrew of course) were wearing masks! This is an excellent way to catch and then re-transmit this virus. Very disappointing, especially after receiving all of the communications that Larry H Miller is doing everything to keep the customer safe.

I had a heater core issue with our beetle. I took it in and had an estimate the same day. I spoke with Samuel regarding options for repair and it was discovered that the repair would be covered under warranty from a Valvoline service that I had performed here last year. Samuel took care of the warranty paperwork and my repaired vehicle was returned when promised. Top notch service as always.

I came to this dealership after my 2017 Volkswagen CC was bought back by the manufacturer. I worked with Luis on getting into another Volkswagen and I cannot say enough good things about him. He did not pressure me into buying the car and worked with me by transferring me out of my lemon and into a reliable vehicle. If you are looking for a newer car, come to this dealership first. On Monday I get to replace the second tire (Giti) on my 20 Tiguan. The first tire failed at 3000 miles and the second failed at 5000 miles. The service advisor--Manny-- told me that I had picked up a thorn...or a nail...or something. Nonsense! Since the car never leaves pavement the same tire (right front) being damaged by a road hazard in barely 2000 miles is highly improbable. Either I am incredibly unlucky or there is a problem with these tires. My service advisor advised me to renew my subscription to NitroFill which is essentially insurance for lousy tires and that says a lot right there. I did some research and the Giti brand gets many negative reviews. Not only are the tires unreliable they give a noisy and rough ride. AVOID any vehicle with Giti tires.Today (Mon) the second tire got replaced so the countdown begins. When I purchased this vehicle I also bought the Anti-Bacterial Treatments, five for $179 or about $36 per treatment. The contract says it provides germ and bacteria removal for your vehicle. Today I got my first treatment and it was a joke. When I went out to the car it was clear that nothing had been removed as the car was still filthy. They did soak the carpets with some substance although they didnt bother to even vacuum them first. They didnt wipe down the dash, the console, the steering wheel, the door handles or any other fixtures. What the hell were they removing? For $36 all I got was wet carpet. I could go to any carwash in town and get much better results for half the price. Like your roadside assistance and vehicle theft assistance the Anti-Bacterial treatments are a waste of my time and my money. I would like a refund of $143 because I have no intention of having another treatment.After five days of being shined on and jerked around by the local yokels (emails get LHMs perfunctory cut & paste answers and phone calls are just ignored) I contacted the corporate office. Within two hours I received an email from Sandy, Utah saying that someone would be in contact with me shortly. Two hours and 8 minutes after that email someone from LHM VW actually responded! How pathetic is it that a customer has to go to the corporate level to get an issue resolved? (Rhetorical question) The anti-bacterial treatment has been cancelled so I can apply that money to the replacement tires for the Giti garbage I have now.

Traveling from the east coast and had an appt for Friday afternoon to diagnose electronic error codes, yet vehicle wasnt put on machine until Tuesday. Problem was low voltage on battery causing error lights. Was without a vehicle those 4 days for an iasue that could have been rapidly diagnosed and repaired at the time of my appointment! If I could give 0 stars I would. My review was deleted from FB.I called 2 months ago and explained that the driver side vents were blowing heat when I turned on the AC. This happened before and I was told it was a programming issue and a running the AC though a diagnostic fixed the issue. When I called, Manny made an appointment for me over the phone for me to come in and get it squared away. I took off work and drove 1.5 hrs just for Manny to tell me that they were going to keep my car over night. This is information I could have used when he made my appointment. I told him I lived over an hour away and I moved here for work so I’m not around family or friends. his solution was to try and get an Uber to take me home and then I find a ride back. Obviously that’s not going to work. I asked about a loaner car. He said none were available but he would call me once one came in.Fast forward to now, I still have the same issue and it’s even hotter in AZ. I requested a 20K mile service and windshield wiper replacement. I pulled up, no check in. I walked in and Manny asked me what I was there for. He looked me up and didn’t know how to navigate it so he asked if I just wanted an oil change. I’m say, “No, the service I requested has much more than that. Let me look it up on the appointment site.” Then he’s like “Oh, I found it.” I let him know that I received and alert to replace my battery in my key fob. I fully expected to pay for or do whatever I needed to do. Manny said he’d take care of it. I told him I am still having the same issue with the AC. He told me that I was supposed to call him back to bring him my vehicle when I had time from work. I told him time was never the issue, I was supposed to be on the wait list for a loaner so I could leave my car over night. He never put me down. What Manny doesn’t realize is that I’m a 100% remote worker. I can do my job from anywhere. Time is never the issue. The issue is being stranded without a vehicle.When my service was finished, I asked about the key fob. The new gentleman called Manny but did not get an answer. The gentleman said that if Manny said he was going to take care of it that he did. Guess what, the battery wasn’t replaced. The biggest slap in the face was Manny asking me if I wanted to be added to the wait list for a loaner vehicle. I just laughed. That was supposed to happen months ago but instead he blamed me for a problem that I didn’t even have. I requested a hard copy of my maintenance records and made an appointment to have the AC fixed with another dealership. I’m never going back to this place.

But if he is representative of how Larry Miller Volkswagen does business, I would absolutely come here for anything Volkswagen.I was coming through Tucson on a road trip when I heard bad noises. I had a great experience at the dealership. First and foremost the salesmen are all friendly but not insistent when you go to buy a car. When I first looked around my dad and I talked to Dean. He let us look but made sure to call after we left and let us know that he would look for things in my price range. Then when I went again I had Luis show me a Jetta and he gave me the chance to drive it around for a bit. He was also extremely friendly and explained everything to me and my parents so we knew what we were buying. In general I would definitely buy at the Larry H. Miller Volkswagen dealership again.

*EDIT* we received what appears to be a canned response. We have made several attempts to contact the individual who replied by leaving messages on his voicemail. not surprisingly we have not been called back. ***Car dealerships as a whole have never been terribly honest, Larry H Miller Volkswagen certainly lives up to the expectation.I assisted a Family member in purchasing a used 2012 GMC pickup. The passenger door molding was falling off to which our salesperson said Ill get you in after the sale and get that taken care of for you. Also as part of the sale was one year of oil changes offered as part of the sale by the dealership.Going by my first paragraph you can assume what happened. We cannot get the individual who sold us the car to even reply to us. We know hes there, goes by the nickname shoes  and is reportedly one of their top performers. Hes proven his word is worthless.The free one years worth of oil changes was something the dealership itself offered. It took eight calls to service leaving messages before someone called us back. When they called us back they stated that they would have to call us again to schedule the oil change. That was about 3 months ago.The bottom line is dont trust anything said at a Larry H Miller dealership. They will make you feel like youre the most important person in the world until they have your money. The salesperson we dealt with appears to only care about his quota. The minor perks they throw in are worthless because they will not honor them.If you buy something from this dealership do so expecting only to get what you pull out of the lot with at most

If youre looking to purchase a new car, take a drive to Phoenix instead. Youll save THOUSANDS!Wouldnt match a Phoenix dealerships price for a new Jetta. So I drove to Phoenix.Edit: Here is the response I received from the salesman when I asked if he could match the Phoenix dealerships price: [My manager] has NO idea how either of the Phoenix dealers could come up with another $2k off [our] price, but, obviously, its a better deal for you. If you havent already, I would HIGHLY recommend that you make sure they give you that offer in writing before you drive up there.

I was hesitant to go in b/c I had a unpleasant experience there a year prior and don’t like dealing with car sales people in general b/of the pressure. I’m a single female and really hate doing this stuff alone. I randomly stopped just to look outside and met a sales person named Dean who was very mellow with no pressure and just answered my question without the BS that usually comes from a salesperson with 1-2 minutes out of the gate. I visited a couple more times before leasing and he beat the lowest price I was given at the Dealer in Phoenix. Thanks Dean!

Took our Tiguan for a recall issue and waited and waited to be seen and I had an appt. The serviceman was busy with another customer, but it was the lack of customer service. An older blonde lady and a man were sitting at counter and never bothered to at least say someone would be with me in a few minutes. I was there for about 2 hrs., no water available. Machine only offered junk, soda,candy, chips. The last but not least was when I was told my car was ready the serviceman never told me what was done. He gave me my keys and thanked me...WOW!!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I bought my car about 3 years ago and had my grandmother co-sign for me. She passed away 2 years ago and I went through a very frustratingly rediculous process to get her name removed from the paperwork/loan.Its been 2 years since and Ive contacted them multiple times about it because she is still listed on everything. Its been very hard for me after her passing to constantly get phone calls/emails/ or anything related, with her name on them. And dont even get me started on the extended warranty I opted to pay for monthly. ITS ABSOLUTELY USELESS. And when I tried to get ahold of someone to cancel the extended warranty (which they made clear when I bought the car that I could do) that request was also ignored and not taken care of. I like my car but if I could have purchased it through any other dealership or even second hand I would have.

Took my Atlas in to get a warranty repair on my vehicles automatic start stop function, as well as a recall item that needed repair. Upon being greeted and asked what the problem was the representative stopped listening after I declined add on services ( a brake flush to be exact). I was trying to explain how it started and what I observed my vehicle doing but he just spoke over me and was not listening. We left the vehicle for repair and were contacted later that day stating that a part was needed and would be in on Wednesday (it was Monday). Magically Tuesday my car was ready to be picked up. I picked it up and the same representative was cold and did not appear welcoming. I have had my car back and my start stop function is NOT working. I want it fixed but with other VW dealerships in town, I will NOT be returning to this location. I would rather drive up north if I need to. I have been a loyal VW owner ( 6 VW over the last 8 years) and have never been treated so poorly at any other dealership in my life.

Do not appreciate the service writer trying to con my mother out of $800. When I confronted him about it, he claimed to have said no such thing. I have a recorded phone conversation of him blatantly lying on the phone. Time to find an HONEST dealership. Dealer called to ask about the service on the car today. When I told him what a terrible experience we had, they never even asked what happened. They dont care. Wish I could give a lower rating.
