What a great little coffee shop in the heart of downtown Toledo. Supporting local is near and dear to my heart, and Maddie & Bella make supporting local a no-brainer.During my visit with my daughter, we were greeted by friendly and cheerful staff. The coffee shop was bright, clean, and simply a breath of fresh air.I ordered the mocha latte with the knowledge that their chocolate was supposed to be on another level. Well my daughter was right, the mocha latte hit the spot. With a smooth rich flavor without having that over sweetened taste. It was an absolute delight, and a great way to start my morning.And the story behind the name, such a touching tribute to the families Australian Shepherds.Parking was simple on a Friday morning. We parked right in front using metered parking. These meters allowed the use of credit cards, I noticed some down the street did not.

This was my first time here. The staff is really nice. The atmosphere was cool and relaxing. I was suggested to get the Downtown... so good. Ill definitely be back.

1st time here today got a sea salt carmel ice coffee and a Swiss pretzel. Coffee was awful! Had no taste of sea salt caramel at all. Now the Swiss cheese pretzel was good but a little bit over cooked. And the bill was 23.00 for that another ice coffee and Avocado toast. Probably wont be visiting again.

Absolutely love this place! The staff is very helpful and friendly. The selection of drinks is one of the best in town; let alone their delicious espresso. Maddie & Bellas definitely is a must stop, especially if you are coffee lover and/or espresso enthusiast like myself. Even if you dont enjoy coffee they offer absolutely delicious and unique drinks, such as the Blue Milk(blueberries, lavender and milk). I would reccomend this drink to customers of all ages!! My 2 year old got it and we both are in love🤗 As for food, I have only tried the coffee cake. It was probably the best coffee cake Ive ever had! They give a generous slice, and it is not dry like most coffee cakes. I will be frequenting this coffee house often and would highly recommend you do as well! They are also in an amazing location downtown.

Maddie & Bellas has an exceptionally friendly staff. While I was in for my first visit, several customers came in and were greeted by name.There is a nice downtown coffee Vibe with great morning sun coming in through the windows.There is a small variety of morning pastries available and a decent size coffee menu. They even have a simple sandwich lunch menu.The coffee I had was better than your average chain coffee. Not spectacular, but combined with the atmosphere and friendly staff, I would happily come back!

Ive been going here since I moved downtown last year and I finally got to go inside! Comfy with a friendly staff. I have yet to get a good feel for their roasts but the espresso I had was on point! Great location, great coffee.

Really enjoyed my first experience with Maddie & Bella. I go to a decent amount of coffee places and one of the things I always try is iced mocha. I have to say Maddie & Bella might have the most delicious mocha Ive had to date with their Lavender Mocha. Im honestly not one to normally try these little variations like lavender, but Im glad I did this time. The lavender really gave an extra hint of sweetness that I have not experienced before.Beyond that M&B also have a short list of things to eat. I tried the egg and cheese sandwich with ham and I enjoyed it. It wasnt as earth shattering to me as the mocha but I enjoyed it nonetheless.Would definitely come back again if Im in the downtown area.

Very nice and bright cafe. A great spot to sit and sip coffee. The pour over I got and cinnamon roll were both excellent. Staff was very friendly as well. I highly recommend the place and would get a bag of beans for at home next time as well

Coffee Quest 2021:$2.60 for two shots of espresso over ice with caramel. Great shots and good service. The space was clean and bright. They have really become a fixture in downtown.

By far, some of the best customer service I have every had from a coffee shop. Cozy atmosphere in the West end and their menu has paleo and health conscious options.

They had a drink named after Harryy Styles and where playing Born To Die by Lana when I walked in ❤️

I had an iced lavender latte w/ almond milk, and it was amazing! I will definitely be back again soon.

Stopped by this coffee shop on my way home from Michigan and it was the best latte I had all weekend. I got the honey ginger latte, the flavor was house-made, espresso was rich and smooth and the oat milk complimented it perfectly making a creamy wonderful drink. The barista was very friendly and helpful as I decided on my drink. They also had unique straws that werent plastic but also werent the cardboard (which becomes useless after a few sips). Great for the environment and great drinks!

Both the downtown and Perrysburg locations are great! I mainly go to the downtown location to work or have meetings. Its really convenient and I run into some great people whenever I go. They also have the best chai tea in town and AMAZING seasonal drinks!

If I could give 10 stars, I totally would. This place is a hidden gem. The Honeybee Latte is really good. Super friendly staff, quiet atmosphere. Clean and modern inside. When I’m in the Toledo area, I make a point to stop here. Look for yarn bombs outside. Very nice place.

Maddie & Bella has a great staff and a delicious variety of coffee, tea, and Boochy Mama kombucha on tap! On top of that theres good eats and home brew gear. The online ordering function is super convenient (and includes a curbside pickup option). Whether you go for a seasonal specialty drink or just a cup of the local roast, its all good.

First time visit.I googled for a coffee shop near me on my way to church. This coffee shop was small but comfortableI asked for a French vanilla cappuccino and was told by a worker they did not have it. When I got to the order counter, I said I wished you had French vanilla. The second worker said they could do it. I was surprised that the staff was not fully knowledgeable about what they offered. A bad sign but not the deal breaker.The worker did apologize for not knowing. After I received my cappuccino.it was barely room temperature and I asked if I could get it hotter and less strong. She proceeded to correct me and say I should have ordered a latte because it’s less strong and is served hotter.I told her this is not my first time drinking a cappuccino and I know how it taste. Maybe your restaurant serves it differently. She made me a latte which did taste better, unfortunately it was still barely room temperature.Coffee should be served hot unless it’s a Ice Coffee. It’s unfortunate that a Ms. Know It All Employee can ruin a business reputation. I will not return.

This is not restaurant food. This is...love. I devoured the Miami Tropi-Chop with chicken. I didnt bother taking pictures because 1) I saw there were plenty of photos on Yelp already and 2) I got lost in the experience. This wasnt just a good meal, it was good for my soul. I didnt even touch my phone while sipping on my cafe con leche and shoveling this delicious food into my mouth.

Excellent fresh roasted coffee. Low acid. High flavor. And local!!!!! I feel good knowing the money I spend for my caffeine is going to support a company brewed up in Northwest Ohio. I could also drink this all day and not get that gross I-had-way-too-much-coffee feeling (often accompanied by Starbucks). Thanks Maddie & Bella! Keep up the great work!

Pretzel/Croissant: soft, layered, salty flakes, evenly distributed in every bite, dancing on each tastebud node. Yeah yeah enough poetry... this pastry is a must have, appropriately paired with any condiment and will marry well in any sandwich variety.

What an awesome place!!! They really did a good job with making TOLEDO feel like a large city. They have great customer service and Im sure I will be back to visit. I ate the avocado toast which was delightful. I also tried one of the matcha lattes it was great. I totally recommend trying this place out.

Had the downtown latte and the new ham and Swiss pretzel croissant. Good sandwich and it came with a side so I got the banana but it was a little expensive. The latte was delicious with the honey and cinnamon but again it did seem a little high on price. Overall, it was good and enjoyable with a nice atmosphere, TVs, plenty of seating and places to charge electronics but it is definitely somewhere I would only be able to visit on special occasion.

This coffee shop is delightful! Its a nice place to stop in for a quick pick me up. On my visit I tried a salted caramel oatmeal cookie and a cold brew tonic. The cookie was mind blowing and the cold brew was delicious.

Fantastic coffee, they make the best cappuccinos I’ve ever had. The staff are nice and the place is super clean at all hours. If you buy their bags, they will grind to your brewing preference. Go visit and you’ll never look back!

Beautiful storefront on St. Clair and great espresso/pour overs. Prices a little higher than some other local places, but it is well worth the extra penny. Cant wait to come back!

If you havent tried Maddie & Bella you are missing out. The pour over coffee is out of this world! I would encourage you to support them as they are local roaster and family owned. Their attention to detail with their coffee puts them on another level. Now if I could just get them to open up in Cleveland!

Fair warning, this review isnt written by a coffee lover/drinker.The place has a very limited menu, so if you want to be there but dont want coffee, then you get to choose from a couple (literally, I think only 2) of their other caffinated drinks. I ordered a hot chocolate which was good but nothing to rave about.Similar sentiments were expressed by my friend who DID have coffee while there.Small selection of food, typical of whats found in coffee shops. We had a muffin, it was good.The place is small or a decent size for downtown. It has simple and modern tables and chairs - very minimalistic vibe. Its nice in that way but if you have chronic pain or if you just really wanted a comfy place to sink into for a bit. . .go elsewhere. The side of the store facing the street is all windows so it lets a lot of natural light in.The staff was really nice.This place could be really great or kinda ehh depending on what you prioritize and if you would like their style. Delicious coffee with approachable atmosphere. Try the ķombucha on tap! There is usually enough seating to sit and work on a laptop if needed.

Different forms of coffee make for a unique experience here. Youre paying for quality drinks but also aeropress, pour overs, and lattes that require a certain level of expertise. My favorite place to go on a sunny weekend morning. Their buckeye mocha is amazing!

Favorite coffee spot while in Toledo. Located downtown near the Seagate convention center stadium and Main Street restaurants and pubs. Buckeye expresso made with peanut butter and chocolate is my favorite, as well as the yogurt parfait with granola and blue berries

NOT allowed to bring your dogs inside. They use this facade as if you are. Pretty disappointing. But the coffee is PHENOMENAL.

Maddie and Bella is my favorite downtown coffee shop. The service is always fast and friendly. Their drip coffee is great, and I also like their lattes and mochas (especially the buckeye mocha). My fiancé and I regularly buy their whole bean coffee to brew at home. I dont eat here much, but the brown butter cookie is amazing!

M&Bs unique blends turned me into a coffee drinker! Definitely try the pour-over style with your favorite blend. My favorite is the Ethiopian.
