Tried to make an appointment for a family member and they needed $35 in advance for a retinal scan that she just had last week. They first told me they would take the test results from the previous doctors office, then today when they called to confirm the appointment they said they WOULDNT take it and shed have to go through the test ( and pay again). Then they said they needed the money up front, Ive never ever had a doctors office state this and I believe this is a scam. Of course when I said this they immediately canceled her appt. I feel this is malpractice as they now refuse to see her or work with us to accept the test results for the test she just had. We will be notifying her insurance provider and the medical board.

My sons and I would of been new patients but, when I called to set up appointments the girl (receptionist) told me there would be a $35 fee per person for a retinal exam. So I told her i have Medi-Cal, she said it dosent matter, i would still be charged. LMAO I have Medi-Cal because i am low income, I cant afford that! I have been to a few Optometrists for my sons over the last 10 yrs, and Ive never heard of that. If they are trying to make some extra money off of people, they are going to loose costumers. Total RIP off, I will investigate this, and if what they are doing is wrong, I will report them. Its already expensive as it is, my insurance only pays for (Adult) exams, my sons are minors, so they are fully covered. My husband (47) passed away in February of this year from Leukemia, so Im not in the market for extra charges. All can say is, I know there are lots of other Optometrists I can go to that dont do this.

Clean facility and all the staff were so nice and professional. It’s a family owned business and they treat their patients like family. I bought two pairs of glasses (regular glasses & sunglasses) and I was spending quite a bit of money so the lady talked to the manager about giving me a discount. The manager said, yes. I didn’t feel rushed like I fo at a lot of doctor offices.

This was the best eye check up I have ever had. The most modern equipment I have ever had the benefit of being examined by. the most knowledgeable and professional staff. The exam was very complete every thing I could imagine was tested and records were filed. I was given great advice on what kind of glasses to get. I am very happy with my progressive eye glasses that were recommended. My insurance papers were taken care of by the office staff and my co-pay was very reasonable . Everyone, and I mean each person in theoffice, from the moment you enter are eager to help you.The equipment is the latest in eye care & the main man explains to me, in terms I can understand, so when leaving I know the condition of my eyes.Im 82 years old & have seen a bunch of eye care people-also Im not related to any of these folks-so I really feel this is an objective review of my experience at Bel Villaggio.

On December 4, 2014 I purchased eyeglasses from Bel Villaggio Eye Care. When I asked about their refund policy, the verbal reply was we do what it takes to make the situation right. Because this was not a straight answer, I asked again and was given the same reply three times. After they charged my Debt Card and gave me the receipt, I noticed that it stated at the very bottom of the receipt No Refunds Allowed. At this point I had no choice, but to continue the process of obtaining eyeglasses. The 1st pair of plastic eyeglasses frames didnt fit so I returned and was given two options (1) keep the ones that dont fit or (2) choose wired framed eyeglasses and pay any price difference. I didnt really need wired framed glasses because I just purchased one a few months ago, which is why I got plastic frames in the first place. Because of their No Refund Policy, I had to go with the wired framed glasses and pay the price difference, which was 30.00 more.No Refund Policy: this is not the standard because most retailers of eyeglasses offers a refund policy.Pricing: I found that the eyeglasses were above average cost. The total cost of my eyeglasses was 746.00, which I considered a little overpriced. I researched my exact eyeglasses frames and lens prescription that I purchased at Bel Villaggio Eye Care and compared them to other retailers. Bel Villaggio Eyeglasses cost: 746.00. The average cost from other retailers was: 542.00. This is a $204.00 price difference. To my knowledge, Bel Villaggio Eye Care does not offer price matching.Extended Wait Times: I was told by the office staff that my eyeglasses would be completed within 10 business days. Both eyeglasses, the ones that I returned and the 2nd order of eyeglasses were both completed greater than 10 business days. I ordered the second choice of eyeglasses on December 30, 2014 and it took until January 27, 2015 to receive the eyeglasses. Most eyeglasses retailers will have your eyeglasses ready within 10 business days and many will do it within 5 business days. I find this to be true rather or not eyeglass retailers have an in-house lab or notThe final receipt was inaccurate in which it had the wrong eyeglasses model on it, however, the staff could not understand my concern. My concern was simple: I paid 746.00 for eyeglasses and obtained a receipt with the wrong eyeglasses model on it, which makes it useless for warranty purposes and in a court of law.I just feel that customers who pay 746.00 for some eyeglasses should be able to sample them for a week or so. No Refunds is not a good policy. I do not recommend this company, I will not be returning.

I absolutely love this eye care clinic - the staff members are truly amazing! After dealing with dry eyes for years and seeing another optometrist, who could not seem to assist me with the problem, while visiting Temecula (I currently reside in Illinois), I decided to visit my old eye care doctor - Dr. Cheech. He and his staff were so amazing through the entire process with how they treated me in the office, with dealing with my insurance company, and the most wonderful part is that my eyes feel 100% better - dry eyes are no more :). I recommend them to any and every one.

One of the best experience at an eye appt. I have a 15 yr old son with autism that can be like a frighten toddler. The staff and doctor were so patience and had great positive energy. We walked out happy.

I highly recommend Dr. Creech and his staff. He is great with my 8 year old and very thorough when it comes to making sure I have the best vision possible.

We have had nothing but great experiences at Bel Villagio! They have been our only eye care provider since we moved to the area two years ago. With five members of our family in glasses and/or contacts, they have never let us down. The staff are excellent and very friendly. Dr. Creech is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!

As a teenager its always a bit nerve racking to go to the eye doctor...but I have to say that Dr. James is the best and makes me feel comfortable and always leave with a smile in my face after I visit. The customer service is great as well.

Bel villaggio Eye Care has been our eye doctor for 15 yrs and I receive the same great care every time we visit! They are sensitive to my financial needs and treat me with great respect, making our appointments fun! Thanks again Dr Creech and staff!!!

I ended up wasting money and a morning at this place. Before I went, I told the staff that the purpose of my appointment was to come in and obtain a presecription for contact lenses since mine ad expired and I need to order new ones ASAP. They said fine. From the moment I met the doctor it felt like he was trying to sell me lasek surgery. He went on about it for over 10 minutes. Then when I wasnt interested, the doctor refused to give me a prescription for contact lenses unless I agreed to make a follow up appointment! I have never heard of this at any other place Ive gone to for an eye exam! Talk about a money grab. Additionally, the facilities were not nice and the staff was unprofessional. Throughout my appointment, staff was yelling across the hall outside of my exam room. The doctor even interrupted one of the staff members who was conducting my preliminary tests to scold her about something - acting like I wasnt even in the room. I left without a prescription and with a sense of shock at their level of professionalism and lack of customer service. I will not be returning and do not recommend this bsuness to anyone.

I am very difficult to get a correct prescription for and they did it flawlessly!I wish I could have moved them with us!

Clean waiting rooms, super nice staff & doctor, plus I was in and out in about an hour!

They were great with my girls and very through. they loved going and my 5 year old cried cause she didnt need glasses cause their selection for the kids was so cute.
