Cool little ice cream shop. We ordered rolled ice cream but a family came in after us and ordered the dragon balls. They looked really cool because they produce smoke coming out of your mouth and nose when you eat them. But back to the rolled ice cream, it was tasty and interesting. I really liked the cafe con leche flavor.
This place use to be a very great rolled ice cream place after the pandemic they stop making roll ice cream forward to January 1st 2021 they started making rolled ice cream again but this time the finished product was melted and hollow since they handed to me also the waiting time was 15 minutes there were only 3 people waiting for their order. It took them from 4:28pm until 5:20pm to get my order ready. It seem to me that this place is under new ownership. The way they use to make it was to mix everything together and then put the same toppings. Will try them again soon. I hope it will be better next time to make this a 5 star 🌟 rating
I love mint ice cream, and have tried numerous brands. Their mint is delicious! I loved their hand-rolled ice cream. We didn’t have to wait too long for it, either. I also love that I could get three toppings with my rolled ice cream, and they were great.
The theme is great! The experience is second to none. The store needs cleaned.... thoroughly. You’ll pay a premium for the experience and the style of ice cream. This store has tons of potential. The lack of housekeeping concerns me. They had 7 people working in a small kitchen space. 1 of them should be mopping and wiping down tables, picking up trash. For the amount you pay the container is only about 3/4 full at best. I’d encourage you to get the toppings because that’s the only way to increase the value for your purchase.
The ice cream its self I give a 5/10 the toppings tasted stale except for the almonds ( I got the one that resembles rocky road)Im pregnant so you can imagine the disappointment. The kind I wanted had strawberries and bananas however, they ran out and did not seem like they would restock. ( Ive worked in fast food and restaurants before, so running out of an item shouldnt happen. You get low on an item you would send someone to go grab more.)To top off the experience the entire building smelled like a trash can. I literally last 5 min eating before I had to just leave.May try again, however not anytime soon.
Excellent ice cream, the guava and cheese tasted like the real deal. Very attentive service
Service is a bit slow. They messed up my order, offered to remake it free of charge but Im not that picky and with 3 kids I didnt want to wait even longer.... the end result still tasted delicious. About $5 per person. Pretty much the same process as cold stone. We will be back to give it another try sometime.
Super awesome ice cream rolls. A must stop. Fun to watch the handcrafted ice cream being made. Very friendly staff.
Not super attractive from the outside, but walk inside and what a great little place! Amazing ice cream selections... build your own or one they suggest. Getting to watch them make the rolls right in front of you is great for every age!! Will definitely be back! So glad to have a place like this is Ybor. Oh, and dont forget to sign the blackboard in the back! :)
Icream was good, but the place need a makeover also at night the place have very low lights and you dont see well if the place is presentable and clean. Is not a club is an icream place. Other than that the ice cream was good but to little for the price we spend 18 dollars for 2 small cups.
Never experienced anything like it before. Met the owner and he explained how the family business got started. Super personable, great staff and high quality product. There was a new employee and watching the owner work with him was refreshing; helpful and supportive with a vision behind his words.I will support this place any time Im in town.
Just left here. It was very busy and you could tell theyre short staffed but the girls working were still working fast and friendly. Great treats. Something different and fun. Definitely check out but not in a rush kind of place!
You never had ice cream like this before! It starts out as a watery runny syrup over a Frozen metal plate, and you watch the ice cream freeze right in front of your very eyes. Then they scrape it up and put it in a cup with all kinds of toppings on it of your choice. Its in an amazing sight to see and an even a more amazing flavor to taste. It was love at first taste! If youre downtown Ybor City, Tampa Bay, you should definitely stop here and enjoy one of the flavors! The only downside to this place, is that they dont have one where I live.
The wait was long to get a rolled ice cream here, and the price was a bit high for what you get. The girls working were nice, but they forgot part of our order and didn’t make it right, which was disappointing. The bathroom was very sketchy and I opted to hold it till we got to the airport. Ice cream itself was yummy, but again, sadly it did not live up to the hype and price.
Found this place and it was wonderful. Loved the concept of the ice cream the quality was excellent. Now the one problem I had was the bathrooms. They are disgusting. It appeared to have pre on the floor but definitely smelled like pee. They need an overhaul. You can see they dont get cleaned often.
Snorolls tasted great but took forever. The 2 girls working were very nice but moved so slow our rolls were melted by the time we got them, and finished mine before my sister even got hers- we ordered together. Would recommend the ice cream shop down the road- not worth the wait.
Great ice cream and flavors. Some are made to look prettier the others and you might see the difference between whos making but just like some other establishments this ice cream is as much a dessert as it is an exhibit since you get to see it made. The place is small but cozy and definitely busy. Took about 40 mins to get our order. Would try it again but probably when its not as busy.
Great place to grab a quick bite before, or after, your night in Ybor. The icecream tasted fantastic, they play more modern R&B/Reggaeton music, and they have a night mode with neon lights, Pretty cool. I would say tho the presentation of the ice cream needs a little work, or more attention. But everything else was great.
I love the idea of this place and the menu options are great however the store was filthy- and I feel like that says a lot about the way they handle the food. This place could be wayyyyy better if they kept up on the cleanliness. It was my first time there and because it was so dirty may not go back. It was fun and tasty but cleanliness is super important in any food business. I was disappointed bc the idea behind this is fantastic and I expected a better experience. Maybe have someone on the hour clean the tables off and sweep the floors, it would go a long way.
Delicious! Perfect portions! Id highly recommend choosing one of their options (I made my own and it did not turn out that good) but their Oreo-roll (add cookie dough) and was ahhhhmazing! Nice vibe with black lights and glow-in-the-dark art inside. The wait was about 15 minutes to order then 25 minutes to get our orders (Saturday night around 11 pm) but definitely worth the wait considering its handmade custom ice cream!
Very nice experience. My kids loved their icecream💜
My sister came for the first time last week and is literally obsessed with the rolled ice cream so I decided to give it a try. THEY ARE DOING THE ROLLED ICE CREAM! It’s very good ! The service was great. For sure coming back !
This was the worst customer service Ive had in a long time..1. If you close at 9pm, at least make a sign out front saying that you will stop rolling 20 mins prior to closing time, 2. communication between the staff is terrible...they need to put their pride aside & just focus on the customer dont bring your attitude to work and 3. this is POORLY MANAGED somebody please get an adult in here that knows what their doing. First & last time coming here I rather drive to St. Pete or Clearwater for rolled ice cream. Im just going to end this post by saying...RATCHETTTTT S.O.S!!!
First time getting rolled ice cream and first time visiting this establishment. Customer service was amazing and the oreo rolled ice cream was equally as amazing! Will definitely be recommending this place to others and returning very soon :)
This place is so good! I had a vanilla ice cream base with chocolate syrup, cookie dough, and brownies. They constructed my order in front of me and made the ice cream from liquid nitrogen! (It really is homemade.) The way they curl the ice cream into 4 rolls is so cool and creative and it tasted really good! I suggest you chose to have your toppings inside and outside (both) of your ice cream. Their shop is a little small and I really hope they expand one day. They were quick with each order and on top of that, you get to watch them make it! I would definitely recommend you go and try it out because it may become one of your favorites!
I was a little weary coming to this place based on the previous reviews but my experience was definitely different. I loved this place! Seems like a Sunday afternoon is the best time to come by as there were not a lot of people and we were the only ones in line. This was my first experience for handcrafted ice-cream so I was a little excited and ecstatic. They give you a menu to look at and then when you are ready to order, you go to the cashier and pay first. You give them your name so when the person making your ice-cream is about to make your order, they call your name so you are able to experience the ice-cream in the making which I enjoyed a lot! I loved the flavor too, it tasted richer and fuller than regular ice-cream to me. The spoons they give you doesnt really help with eating as it bends a lot so a plastic spoon would have been better but I am not complaining. My experience there was awesome and I enjoyed it a lot and plan to definitely return!
This place was recommended to me while we were in town...lets just say I will be leary of taking recommendations from this person again, daughter or not haha... very dark inside, maybe its their thing but it was weird, felt dirty. We ordered three different items and lets just say all three were in the closest trash can outside, none of the ice cream tasted anything like the flavors we ordered.
Love going here to try all of the different flavors of ice-cream and toppings. The way its rolled, they really give you a good show...
Amazing! The ice cream is handcrafted right before your eyes. The wait can be long due to this, so keep this in mind when going. I have tried the smores and the 90s. I really enjoyed the 90s, mixture of fruity pebbles and fruit loops, strawberry and pop tarts. It also included a drizzled strawberry sause and carmel. It also includes fresh strawberries, to make you feel healthy. They have a few items already customized, but you have the option to build your own. The staff is friendly and it seems like they take pride in the work they do. I highly recommend this place, just plan your time accordingly. Its not your average pull and pour yogurt shop.... But its worth the wait. I managed to come on two consecutive days... Hints how good it is.
Great fun! We had a blast when we went on National Ice Cream Day. Fun concept, great tasting ice cream, and friendly staff. This only has 4 instead of 5 stats because the staff didn’t offer us a high chair or booster for our little ones. I assumed they didn’t have any but when I went to the restroom (no AC in there 😳) I walked past the booster seat and highchair they had in the back.
We brought the kids after sampling the ice cream at the Masquerade Ball. Its definitely larger portions, but the price reflects that. Starting at about 5.25 for a single serving with one topping then can add more for a fee. The kiddos picked out their own instead of choosing one of the menu item. They seemed to enjoy them, but said the dragon balls hurt their teeth since they are so cold. The ice cream and the syrup are uber sweet, so if you want something not so sugary, you can go for yogurt option and no sauce. It says is takes 15 to 25 minutes to make them, but we didnt wait quite that long. Its definitely a specialty treat.
Place has always been great, been going since it opened in winter 2016.
Visiting Tampa area with my boyfriend this week so we decided to stop by snobachi for some ice cream. Snobachi exceeded my expectations. I had never tried rolled ice cream before. I’m glad I tried it here. Bf got the berry cheesecake added banana and I got the hella tella. Nutella ice cream topped w banana, chocolate sauce and ferrero rocher. SO GOOD.
Oreo Sno-roll was good! Came with a toasted marshmallow, which was a nice touch. Pretty fast and friendly service. My knock down of one star was the lack of cleanliness in the store and do NOT EVEN GO in the bathroom. The toilet is balancing on a wooden block, and you’re not allowed to put even toilet paper down the toilet (not that there was any in the bathroom)- it turned me off of the shop in general, but the ice cream was still good.
I have been wanting to come to this place for the longest. My fiancé treats me and of course the girl who is taking orders is texting messes up the order. Then the guy fixing the rolls is so high he gives my order to someone else. First and last time
Very slow, but still good ice cream.
Simply delicious and very indulgent. Visited all around the city on our last visit and loved enjoying an awesome and very delicious ice-cream.
Nice place to think about business. Definitely worth a return visit. This place has an awesome atmosphere. I see why this place has so many great reviews.
Fun concept and definately a popular spot. The ice cream was good and watching them roll yours is entertaining. The foods soaked in liquid nitrogen look fun too! Be aware it takes time to make and roll each creation, they do give you a heads up that there will be a wait when you get to the register.
Awesome service!!! Full place, quick service.
Very good ice cream, friendly people ! Nice spot would highly recommend
Directions were weird. Bad portions if you dont ask for it rolled. And they dont let you know. We had to tell them our order several times and they were having trouble keeping track of semi complicated orders. It is well priced if you pick rolled. It is not worth it if you pick regular scoops. It looked like a sampling. There is a better ice cream place right down the road within walking distance. I would recommend going there instead.
I love the concept however the design is flawed. They shouldve hired more staff and picked a larger location but I guess its safe to assume they werent aware of how popular it would be in Ybor. The creations are always amazing. Fresh ingredients and very creamy and rich ice cream. Ive been twice now and will definitely come back.
So amazingly delicious
The ice cream was good. I wish they still did the rolls though. The reason they stopped didnt make much sense to me because covid is still around rather they do rolls or scoops.
Get Smored is the name of what I got. It was very good. Its fun to watch the process before you receive your treat. The guys all seem to have a good time working together. I went on a Sunday night and it was pretty packed. I also tried the brownie bites in liquid nitrogen. I wouldnt do it with my kids but I recommend trying for sure.
Not the same it used to be. First, they arent mixing in the toppings to the ice cream anymore. Then, they run me up wrong and wouldnt give my 3yr old her M&Ms. So, you are going to argue down a pregnant lady about a few M&Ms for a toddler that you rung up wrong?!?! Smh, I wont ever be back.
We have 4 dogs and they all have their original tags!
Delicious ice cream, they didnt have the rolled ice cream when I went but I still got a scoop and really enjoyed it!
I had a great time with my two friends. We ordered the make your own ice cream. I order a vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce and gummy bears! The service was great and even after closing time they told us to take are time and no rush. 100% would come back again. I really enjoyed the whole experience! #Snobachi #buzzybooth
Needs to be updated. The Berry cheesecake ice cream is good. The dragon balls are just cereal balls with co2... not very tasty.
The quality of the Ice Cream was good, but unfortunately at this time theyre no longer doing rolled ice cream. This isnt posted anywhere. I even called before going there to make sure they were open, but was never made aware of this.
