The place was clean and the cookie dough was good and soft. The small with two flavors was over $5. You can get cakes, cookies, cookie dough, milk shakes, and more. Its a good treat no doubt with decadent flavors like red velvet or the classics M&Ms, chocolate chip, etc, and/or vegan options. The workers were friendly too.

The shop is adorable, the staff was very personable, welcoming, and fun. I gave one star because four of us ate there and four of us got sick. We were all vomiting, with it tasting like cookie dough, and also had diarrhea at the same time as well as stomach pain and cramping. It tasted delicious but it is now 2 days later and Im still not feeling the best from it and it also gave me and my best friend the sulfur burps that taste like rotten eggs. I now have to go to the doctor and get an antibiotic before I can eat again. Unfortunately I will not be returning here.

My heart is exploding with joy at finding this gem. We are in town for a few days and in our search for dessert shops we came across Dough Nation. As avid cookie/ cookie dough fanatics we could not pass this place up, and how grateful I am that we did not!The dough is ah-mazing, and it’s an exceptional added bonus that ALL profits go to help hungry and struggling families across the community. My GPS took me all the way to Hudson Florida on Dale Mabry for this but it was absolutely worth it!!.....their associates were wonderful and excited to serve me and tell me about their products. they also serve kahwa coffee there!! and please plz try the cookie monster flavor. its new and Genius!!!

This place is awesome. The staff is outgoing and friendly. The tables and floors are squeaky clean. The treats are delicious. The environment is fun. All of this while supporting a great cause! What more could be better? Make sure to come with a big appetite because you can taste all of the flavors before deciding what you want. They even have gluten free and vegan options! I take all of my friends here when they visit and its always a hit.

Simple straight-forward business, sell cookie dough ice cream and shakes. I heard all the profits go to charitable organizations. Staff was friendly and worked patiently with the kids who did not know exactly what they want. You can get two scoops of different flavors in one small cup which was pretty cool. We couldnt get Google Pay to work, but everything else was great. Will definitely stop back in the future if it is on the way home.

I was really excited to check this place out, but unfortunately, we had a pretty unpleasant experience. The person that took our order was quite unfriendly and even seemed annoyed that we were there. We felt very rushed to look at the menu and give our order, even though no one was behind us. I ordered the Sunday Nation, which was delicious, and my husband ordered two scoops of ice cream. He really liked the mint chocolate flakes, but said the oreo had a weird taste to it. I went to get some napkins when we were done, but the napkin holder was completely out. I honestly didnt even feel like I could ask for some napkins after the way we were treated when placing our order, which is pretty sad considering we just spent 18 bucks on ice cream. I see they have pretty good reviews, so it may have just been an off night, but I dont see us coming back anytime soon.

On a whim, I wanted to get some ice cream. Did a quick Google search and found this location. Waking in, I fell in love with the concept. I am a huge fan of cookie dough. I love the stuff. Now put it with ice cream! Heck to the yes!!! Then after getting my treat, I looked around and learned that the money here goes to Metropolitan Ministries, it was too much. This place was perfect. I highly recommend it. The only issue I had was that I probably made a poor choice in my ice cream-cookie dough combination, but that only mean I HAVE to go back and try it again.

Their cookie dough is absolutely delicious! I recommend the sweet and salty cookie dough and the sugar cookie dough. The guy waiting on me wasnt the friendliest but the younger gentleman waiting on my friend was really nice and helpful. Excellent place for a delicious snack!

It is owned and operated by a homeless shelter organization - so the profits help the needy. Approximately 8 cookie dough flavors to try.The Bad -The price of this product is a little high given its uniqueness. Small is $4, medium is $7 and large is $9. The flavors werent anything special and didnt amazing me by any means. Send kind of like a fade to me...Give it a try and see what you think. I recommend a small, as its very sweet.

Dough Nation is a very clever play on words. It is a cute quirky kind of place and was quite lively when we went for the first time in a Saturday.It is just around the corner from Urban Cantina, as a corner to reference when walking up.The product is very very rich. Perhaps we should have gotten more ice cream and A scoop of dough.Everything was clean, the floor was not sticky. Sadly, I did not get a chance to find the restroom to check for cleanliness.We had fun, relaxed on outdoor chairs and tables, ate ice cream and watched the world go around.

The customer service is very good and the ice creams are good as well but they are pricey. This was me and my friends first time trying the cookie dough but we didnt like it. Ill give 3 stars for the ice cream since Ive had better ice cream for better price.

Cookie dough and ice cream?? How can you go wrong? This little spot opened several months ago and weve been a few different times.Every single time, we a greeted with a smile and enthusiasm. No matter how crowded, busy and crazy it is. Which is awesome!! Coz it does get super busy and loud. This is not a big place and there are 4 or 5 tables inside and two outside.Starting at the ice cream side, you pick your flavor of ice cream, slide along to the next area to select your cookie dough and then any toppings you want. You can order ice cream without cookie dough, which is awesome coz downtown needs a sweet little ice cream parlor or cookie dough without ice cream. This is a no judgement zone.Every time Ive been in, the entire place has been clean and fresh.The ice cream is really good and the cookie dough is amazing! Perfect for a sweet treat. If you havent been you must go!!

Im the kind of person that eats spoonfuls of raw cookie dough anytime I bake cookies so I was super excited to try this place. I got the small which was one scoop, and couldnt even come close to finishing it. It was so sweet and rich that if I tried I would have gotten sick. I loved the taste and texture but definitely could have been satisfied with half the amount. Next time I go Ill try the ice cream

Busy place near closing on a Friday night, but they were doing their best to keep the line moving.This was my first visit here. I wanted to try more than one flavor of cookie dough and was intrigued by their icecream as well. I went for a two scoop cup with chocolate chip and smores. It was way more cookie dough than I could eat in one sitting. Wishing I could have tried more flavors, I would encourage them to consider offering some sort of sampler you can buy with maybe a half or quarter scoop of several different flavors.The cookie dough was great, just very rich and sweet so I couldnt finish it all.If Im in Tampa, Ill be back 😊

Oh it was delicious! Cute place to go with your friends on the weekend. Nice colors, large servings, good flavors. The dough keeps well too, if youre like me and cant down a large serving in time to refill the parking meter. Friendly service as well, lovely time there. :)

Dough Nation is a phenomenal place to go for the Cookie Dough connoisseur. They have quite a selection. My recommendation is to get a Cookie Monster milkshake with the toasty Smore cookie dough its amazing.

I got a Sundae Nation. The ice cream was excellent but that credit is due to Big Olaf Creamery in Sarasota, where they buy their ice cream from. I think it’s a little odd that a place like Dough would buy in key components when they have actual pastry chefs that work for them. I sampled all the cookie dough flavors before deciding on which to have, and I settled on red velvet and only red velvet even though the Sundae Nation comes with two dough flavors- they all had a very artificial aftertaste and I did not enjoy them. I threw out my Sundae Nation halfway through (which is absolutely unheard of) because I really couldn’t handle the artificial taste of the dough. They only have very heavy options for ice cream, dough and toppings. It would be a good choice to add in something to cut through all the heaviness like more fruit flavors and toppings, and maybe take away some of the artificial colored and flavored options. Price was fair, however. The staff was average. The setup of the store needs improvement. I went during a rush and it was difficult to stand in the section where you order without being right on top of a table and out of the way of the people coming and going to the bathroom. I honestly would not go again.

Happy to visit the new location! I wish it was closer to me but its still worth 5 stars up there.

Just introduced to the new location on Dale Mabry (Carrolwood). Wow! The ice cream is unbelievably good! Everyone goes for the cookie dough, but do yourself a big favor and put some ice cream on it.Also, I’m not a vegan but I sampled their mango ice cream. It was terrific!

The flavors are rich and the product is heavy, so dont overdo it.Recommend: I ask for half scoops of the cookie dough so that I can try more flavors. They will also do this for the ice cream.

I dont know about you, but I never was able to eat a whole tube of cookie dough. Had the opportunity to experience this wonderful place while I was visiting my sister. The ice cream and dough were amazing. The staff was very helpful and courteous. This is a great cookie dough place. You can buy raw cookie dough to eat or buy cookies. I got regular cookie dough. They also have some ice cream. I think the cookie dough taste pretty great but it quite expensive for how little you get. Its got a lively atmosphere and helpful employees.

Im not a huge cookie dough person but this place is AMAZING!!! They had cookie dough and then they had some of the cookies baked. And the ice cream set it off! Definitely will be back again.

First time going there. Nice concept. The cookie dough is a little much by itself, but tastes great! Recommend getting dough with ice cream on top. The ice cream by itself is really good too. I bought sugar cookie dough to take home. I will make cookies tonight. The only bad thing is the parking, which all parking in Tampa sucks. We drove around, around, and around...almost gave up!!! Yikes, they need to move to 54 and Little Rd, or Wesley Chapel areas, wheres it booming with business. Very nice guy working in there.

A bit disappointed in the quality of their icecream. We ordered four flavors and only one was tasty. The vanilla was just atrocious and lacked general flavor and color of natural icecream. The actual after taste was offensive and it had an overwhelming artificial taste and mouth feel. The chocolate was also below average and lacked good flavor. The only redeeming flavor was their strawberry, which was very good but not enough to repeat.The service their is excellent, very friendly, helpful and courteous and the interior space is open and well lit.I really wish the icecream was better but it just isnt worth a return trip.

Chocolate cookie dough mixed with vanilla ice cream is amazing! Also the double chocolate Oreo dough mixed with vanilla ice cream is amazing. The key is to make sure you get one scoop of ice cream and one scoop of dough. If you get only dough it will be too overpowering. Customer service is great as well. I can not wait to go back!

I bought a pint of sweet and salty cookie dough as well, which was good as it is but also very good baked. I also love the cause. Definitely consider this place if you want cookies, but dont want packaged cookies or too lazy to make them.

This is such an excellent establishment. Their products are top notch. Delicious cookie dough and ice cream. The cookies (made from the dough) are good too. It is exactly what youd expect... Like eating cookie dough straight out of a cup! Tastes just like the real thing! Personally, double chocolate chip is my favorite, but their regular chocolate chip and the caramel dough were awesome too!

Workers were very accommodating to kids questions and requests for samples. Kids sizes where ample and surprisingly inexpensive. The cookie dough was good (lots of great flavors available), but really rich. I would recommend splitting it with ice cream.

I was so excited to get to dough-nation. Upon arrival I was thoroughly disappointed by the fact that a store named dough-nation had little to no baked goods, although it is categorized as a bakery.The ice cream flavors were interesting but again, I was not wanting ice cream I was wanting baked goods. The prices are high but, I guess approiate for the area.Again- if you are looking for ICE CREAM this would be a great choice, if you are looking for baked goods, not so much 😒

Little pricey but very good! Great treat on a hot day! I got the cookie dough but everything else looked just as good! Look forward to going back next time I am in the Tampa Bay area! Was pretty wasted to walk to from the water front. Might Uber next time with this heat.

This place was a wonderful surprise for me and my wife. They had a wide assortment of tasty flavors in both ice cream and cookie dough. We had never been and the people working there walked us through everything professionally and wonderfully and let my wife try a sample of an ice cream that she just fell in love with. I had one of their waffle cones and I couldnt believe how good it was. Highly recommended!
