I needed a new clutch and they replaced it quickly. When an issue with my clutch cables arose shortly after they were able to find the part and replace those as well. They were always quick, professional, and kept me up to date every step of the way. Bob and Scott make a great team and I thank them very much for being able to get me in quickly and take care of the issues with my vehicle.

I was getting ready for work and noticed I had a flat tire. I had a big screw embedded in my tire and was able to get the spare on. I quickly found Courtesy Auto and saw it was highly rated so I gave them a call. Bob was very friendly on the phone and was able to fit me in the schedule for the day. When I arrived he was honest with me and stated the screw did too much damage for a simple patch, so I would need a new tire. He found a tire in stock that would match the tires I had on my car. After my tire was fixed, he explained all the information I needed to know (e.g.when to rotate my tires). I will be coming back here again

I had someone try to steal the catalytic converter and they bent the heater tubes for the rear heater. The service people here are excellent. They found the problem, sent me an estimate with a video of the problem. Great work. I will never go anywhere else. They are honest and thorough.

They got my LS460 bad battery problem handled. Even had the better one I wanted in stock (yeah, saving a few bucks on a cheap battery is a dumb way to get stranded). Then they tested everything to make sure I was good. I TRUST them!

Courtesy Auto Service and Tire is my new go to for all my car repair and maintenence. After having a routine maintenance check on my car at a dealership service department I was told that I needed a leak repaired. When I called to schedule the repair this other car shop wanted $140 to diagnose the problem. I already had it in writing what the problem was so why were they going to charge me another $140 on top of the seal repair? Thank goodness for Scott and his crew. There was no leak to be repaired. Professional, helpful, honest and dependable. Give them a try. Youll be happy you did.

Wonderful customer experience all around. My car was dropped off first thing in the morning and needed a lot of work. They checked in with my husband and I throughout the day to make sure they did all of the work we wanted (new brakes, oil change, new battery and new tires). Heres the deal with Courtesy Auto- you get what you pay for, and theyre a bit pricier than other local businesses. I wasted a few hundred dollars going to a cheaper place several times for the same repeat problem on my car before going to Courtesy and regret it very much. Courtesy is the REAL DEAL. They are professional, they are experts, they use quality name brand parts, and they will do a fantastic no-shortcuts-taken job on your vehicle. If youre trying to strike a deal, or negotiate a price- look elsewhere. These guys are no compromise pros, and they are great at what they do. Seriously high quality work, very friendly staff, and top notch clean and organized facility. I will only be using them for all of my car/truck needs going forward, now that Ive seen what you can get when youre willing to skip trying to save a buck.

My rating is based on their honesty. My van has been there almost two weeks, and they weren’t beating around the bush about its issues. They let me know what was wrong and how they’ve tried to fix it. My car is 21 years old, sometimes it’s just harder to find proper parts and they never once lied or made promises that the parts they ordered would work on it.I took my last car here about 4 years ago and they a wonderful job on it. Definitely a place to go if you want an honest professional working on your vehicle.

I went in for an alignment which they did a great job on at a more than fair price...but additionally with my request they inspected my entire vehicle at no charge. I had several bulbs out and an issue with my brakes that needed addressing.The owner is very involved and intent on making the experience awesome from making coffee to pleasurable discussion.They provided photos to detail their work and explained what kind of priority each item was without making me feel pressured.I am new to the area and was worried where I could take my car for service. I have found it and wont go anywhere else.They are all quite professional and I believe good people as well!

Courtesy is like the gear head brother you wish you hadI’ve taken a couple cars to them. They do an excellent job. They are honest and back it up with video and photos to show you exactly what’s going on. They don’t convince you to do repairs that aren’t needed and they’ve given me solid advice and service to lengthen the use of my older model SUV. I even brought them photos of a car I plan to buy and Scott (the owner) gave me input on what to expect in ongoing maintenance. These are things dealers don’t do.The staff is as friendly and knowledgeable as they come. The place is clean. They have coffee and free WiFi and loaner cars which I’ve used a couple times. Bob even helped me unload my car including my granddaughter’s car seat into the loaner and back. Old fashioned family care and state of the art tech to service you and your vehicles.

Doug (managed) and Bob (tech) helped me select an excellent set of tires for my car. As it happens, I also had a wheels and tires insurance policy from my dealership (those policies are designed to provide insurance coverage for damaged wheels/tires). They helped facilitate the claim directly with the insurance company. It was clear they had done that before. Anyway, they were prompt in their communication with me and patiently answered all of my sometimes unnecessary questions. I highly recommend them!

Phoned in after a word-of-mouth referral. Person I spoke to was polite and not in any rush to get me off the phone. Brought my car in, loaner car provided. Was texted and phoned about what was needed. I was given time to think about it! Doug was awesome! Ive never felt safe or sure of of previous work done on my car but this time, Im driving without any worry. My car is driving better! Well worth the money! Service was priced just right for the average person living in this area. Goodyear at Tacoma Mall has won my loyalty for years to come.

I called and was able to get a same day appt for much needed brake job. They were quick, thorough and Bob was very nice and not pushy at all. I agree with the individual who said it is a little pricey however it was less than they quoted and their work has a 2 year warranty so that coupled with good customer service made it worth it. Took my vehicle in at 8:30am and got diagnostic within an hour and vehicle was done by 2pm. The $174 quote to replace 3 out bulbs was cute, and I decided against that. I will replace those myself for cost of parts which will likely be $50 or less.

Anytime you need to take your car into the shop it means stress, money and an inconvenience. Since I have been taking my vehicle to Courtesy for repairs I have experienced fast and thorough repairs, had the opportunity to use one of the loaner cars and fair pricing for repairs. I visited Courtesy Auto based on reviews seen on Google and I was very impressed. I have a brake inspection and oil change done, and the pricing was fair and service OUTSTANDING. I had concerns with my brakes after having them repaired by the dealership 4 months prior. Courtesy Auto provided a multi point inspection report, along with detailed report and images of the status of my brakes. Based on Courtesy Autos inspection, I was able to determine that the dealership did not properly or satisfactorily get my brakes in good working condition, and I will be pursuing the dealership to get satisfaction on the brake service I had already paid for. All pricing quoted and charged was fair, service and communication was outstanding - a world of difference compared to working with the dealership. Thank you very much Courtesy Auto!

My daughters car broke down during the quarentine. We had it towed to Courtesy Auto and 36 hours later she was on the road again. Having someone like Bob taking care of the car was a relief. Professional, fast, and thorough, theyre now our go to place.

They do a very good job and are very knowledgeable! The prices are a little high, but they do a thorough and professional job.We recently came back to them with a potential new car for them to inspect to see if it had any issues. They did find some and printed out reports and pricing so we could go back to the dealer and negotiate pricing based on the reports.Other places might do it cheaper but not as well or thorough, if you care about your car come here!

The crew really does work well together. Just had my vehicle serviced, including battery replacement, etc. Work was completed 20 minutes ahead of estimated finish time, which allowed me to get to my next appointment. This has been MY go to shop for several years!

I have never had a problem with any repairs that have been completed by the staff. I have brought my childrens vehicles here while they were growing up and as adults they continue to take their vehicles to Courtesy Auto. What is great about the Courtesy staff is the honesty. I have taken a vehicle in thinking it is going to cost me a lot of money only to find out, it was something very minor and the problem was not what I thought it was. I love taking my car here because I know they will take care of it and wont try to money gouge me. The staff are helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Appointment times are honored and they are prompt so you dont find yourself waiting hours for small fixes. Since they are near the mall you can sit down to a meal at one of the restaurants and, as long as youre not getting extensive work done, they will have called before you finished. I cant say enough good things about this place. They have saved me money left and right when others said things couldnt be repaired.

Bob was very helpful, my dad had a nail in one of his tires and noticed it right when he got to work, he called and got an appointment for 2:30p, I was available to help my dad get the tire fixed before he got off. So I called, and Bob got me in right away! Service only took about an hour. I was out of there by 1130am. Will definitely be back here!

After fixing an appointment, I later had a situation where Id have to change the date and time. The store was ready to accommodate me. Their advice and tips on the condition of my car was impressive .They go beyond what a customer goes for. While they worked on my car, I found their waiting area cosy and welcoming.

I used to joke (sadly) that the cost of servicing my car every six months at the dealership started a $2,000 and went up from there.After years of paying excessive, and maybe unnecessary expenses, I found the antidote: Courtesy Auto Service in Tacoma.They are professional, embrace todays technology, efficient and reasonably priced. Since COVID-19 closed their waiting area, they offered a loaner car for less than the cost of a one-way Uber ride. They serviced my vehicle within the time they estimated and at a lower price than they initially quoted. (Whoever heard of that?)Their invoice contained a link to a webpage explaining the Digital Inspection of my vehicle along with photos showing the tires, exterior lights, air filter, etc. My favorite picture is looking inside the washer fluid reservoir, showing they filled it to the top!I plan to see them in six months and six months after that, etc.

Great customer service. Made sure i was informed on what the issues were and that i was made knowledgeable of why they were issues and how to avoid it next time. Very thorough. Their inspection format is fantastic, they send you a link and tell you everything going on and even include pictures.

I came here in October and got some new tires. The service was great. I actually took my SUV in today on 3/5/19 and as soon as you walk in it seems to be a positive vibe in the place. The staff is very polite. Even the mechanic shook my hand and it was a sturdy one and they will be working on my brakes probably tomorrow. But my experience alone and after whatever needs to be done is done I may make this my main shop instead of the one I been going to. Just the downfall is the hours are only Monday-Friday 8-5 and being a truck driver I’m on the road 14 hours a day.

Yes I got to Goodyear at the Tacoma mall and needed 4 tires for my vehicle,I got to that place around 9:40 am and after all information, I told the person I need my car back at noon because I am going to work at,have to be at work 2:15 am, it takes 30 mins.to get btw they give me my car back 11:20am,wonderful job on a snowy weather,very recommendable Thank You Goodyear people appreciate that.

This place is the absolute best. Moving to Tacoma for college I was worried it would be hard to find a garage I could trust but thankfully Courtesy Auto was there to save the day. They have seen me through some troubling times with my older car that I took to college and they were able to help keep him running happily through many road trips, all at an affordable cost. I loved the way they broke down each service and were really upfront about costs and necessity of each service. Even if they had to keep the car for longer they let me use a rental car while they were busy fixing him up. Convenience, price, and service are all stellar here.

Able to schedule online, got a text and list of findings as soon as they did and evaluation and they have a super safe way for me to pick up my car after hours. Didn’t need to use one of their courtesy cars since they knocked out a major repair the same day I brought it in.

I have used Courtesy Auto for both my family cars for two years now. Ive had a great experience. Great work for reasonable prices. A couple times a mechanic made a mistake that I noticed later, but each time I brought the vehicle back and they fixed the problem free of charge. Its also convenient to be next to the mall because I can drop a vehicle off and go work inside or walk around for a while.

I had to take in my 2014 Nissan Sentra for repair and maintenance and chose Courtesy Auto Service. This was the best decision I could have made. They were so helpful and very nice. They gave me very honest and accurate service. They, in fact, had moved up my service by one day, on the spur of the moment, as I asked them to, and cheerfully. They have always been a straight forward place to do business with, and, will even listen to a rambling on old man, like me, if they do not have another customer to take care of.

My experience started with the Goodyear Tire website itself in doing research for my new tires. A hefty rebate offer on the tires I wanted were a big motivating factor in my purchase. But when it came down to it, I had questions that dealing with a website didnt answer. Sometimes in this online world we live in we need to remember that we do need people to actually answer our questions!So a phone call to Courtesy was where I started. To my surprise my callwas answered by the owner Scott. He answered all my questions and I ended up getting the tires ordered and within a short time was called back that they were in stock. I really appreciated the communication throughout the process with phone calls being returned quickly, email notices of appointments being sent and never feeling like you were in the dark as to what was going on. They even took care of filing my rebate afterwards to make sure I got that. The whole process was awesome!I am very happy with my experience here. This was my first time using Courtesy Tire in Tacoma and I was impressed. I will recommend them to my friends and will use them again in the future. Got a great deal on my brakes. I was quoted some ridiculous price elsewhere when I got my tires changed. The owner was honest and didnt seem like hes out to grab money. I was able to view the conditions of my brakes on my phone before they worked on it. They will be the first place Id go for any of my car services going forward.

WARNING all potential customers:This place quoted me $5,300Plus for my Subaru 2006 Tribeca B9, and UP Auto Service in Lakewood did the entire job for under $950!!!!!!Hard to believe, right? Keeping on reading...I went in for a damage to the front right tire after hitting the curb hard. And since I was already there, I also told them to also check for my rear struts since I hear rattling sound when driving on little pumps areas. After their diagnostic test results, their quote came at $5,500plus ($4,300Plus just for the front tire repair, and $1,300pls for the rear rattling repairs)And do keep in mind that my actual vehicle value is between $4000-4,800.I normally do not write reviews despite the fact, like most people, I’ve had bad experiences in the past (bad coffee, food, etc), but this one deserves a special attention and the community needs to hear about it!!! DO NOT LET THEIR HIGH REVIEWS FOOL YOU!! That is how I got fooled into their doors!Now, If you are into all the flashy and high-tech approaches dealing with customers and want to pay BIG bill for it, then this is your place.You may ask what high tech and flashy services: Fancy digital diagnostic reports with flashy high quality pictures and very well written mechanic notes, to creating top notch profile for your vehicle that will constantly remind you of what next is good for your car plus bunch of other reminders you will constantly be getting in your email. Now, guess who will be paying for all that???.....YOU, the customer!!! This is all overhead for Scott and his operation, and he will make sure all that cost gets translated and reflected into your bill—he won’t admit it, they will say these digital services and reminders are free, but they are not and you will be paying for it all!So when you first walk in, Scott or one of his team will respectfully welcome you, no doubt about that. Next thing you realize you are paying for their ‘Diagnostic Test’ between $130-150$. Because they can’t do anything (even though they are very qualified, which I am sure they are) until they do this test regardless of the nature of the problem—just a fancy and a legal way to convince you to pay for something you don’t even need.In case you need a ride back to somewhere, NOPE, no courtesy van or free ride from Scott—even though he has the audacity to name his business ‘Courtesy Auto Service’!!! Scot will very gladly tell you how he has so many vehicles that you can rent for $15/day, and Just to do that transaction takes a while and you will forget that you came to have service done on your vehicle, bur rather it feels as if you came to rent a car!!!At the end of the day, I am warning everyone of tricky tactics to make you pay for things you don’t actually need. You welcome to still go to Scott and give him your business, but do not make the mistake by not going to else where too and compare prices. And I am pretty Sure Scott’s employees are very qualified, experienced, nice people, but Scott’s thirst for every penny from every customer is very disturbing!!!

This place is a rip off! They will tell you one thing and do something completely different. They are not honest at all. I went there two weeks ago for an alignment. I was told that it is going to cost me $129 but if something is wrong they would charge me $60 for the inspection without doing the alignment itself. So after couple of hours they gave me the car and I paid $156 ($129 alignment, $11.69 Shop supply that doesnt make any sense to me, $1.50 Hazard materials that I guess comes out of my wheels?, and $13.60 sales tax ) but anyway I paid it in full without asking anything. When I got into my car I saw that the steering wheel was in the same position as it was before the alignment so I went inside to ask why! They told me my control arm on the left side needs to be replaced and they did not perform the alignment on that side! So I brought up their policy of checking the car first which would have cost me $60 and they agreed to do the second alignment (this time for the whole car) for $60 after I replace my control arm. So I went back last Friday to get the alignment done and they asked for the full price because they DONT REMEMBER agreeing to do it for $60! I have never been so obviously lied to in my life. Please read all reviews before making your mind. I wish you better luck than I had.

Quickly worked out the issue and fixed it within 1 buisness day. The mechanic liked my car and talked to me about it for a bit which was cool; 10$ rental cars available. Super understanding and kind team.

70 dollars for an inspection. I decided not to pay for there 1200 dollar estimate to replace the power steering pressure hose and return line in my car and decided to have a family friend take care of it.He just got done emailing me telling me that the lug nuts on the wheel hadnt even been torqued down and that one of them was just about ready to fall off.I hate to imagine what wouldve happened if I had driven that car anymore than the mile it is from their location to my house.Thats what $70.00 will get you at Goodyear I suppose.

We recently bought a used car that had a tire that was separating. I took it in to two different tire stores and they said that the tire was classified as a Road Hazard Damage and was not covered under warranty. One store told me that it had to have been driven on when it was flat.Someone turned us on to Bob at Courtesy and I am glad they did. Bob looked at the tires and said that the separation was not due to being driven on while flat and that it was a manufacture defect not Road Hazard. In addition, he found another tire on the front that had the same defect. He was able to get both tires covered under warranty.Thank you, Bob. We will go back to Courtesy Auto Service and Tire.

Not very impressed. Took several inquiries before coming up with the final pricing (which was no bargain) and appeared less knowledgeable than myself after only 10 minutes of research on the web. Although I understand they are responsible for learning about dozens of vehicle brands, I suspect the issue would be found across all vehicles. Associates were very friendly, but will most likely avoid taking my vehicle there for any further repairs. Feel free to take your car there, Im sure some associate will reply with some reason my review is unwarranted.

I trust Scott and his crew to take care of all my vehicles, its always a pleasure to do business with Courtesy Auto of Tacoma. This place does it all from complete engine rebuilds to wiper replacement, tires, oil changes and more. They pay attention to details and they do it right!

I have been going to courtesy auto service and tire after, located by the Tacoma Mall for several years. Always their staff has been polite courteous efficient informative and accurate. I will continue to go there and no I will get the same excellent service.

Everything was amazing. I called and got my car in when I needed to, they had a loaner car for me all set to go. The next day, they texted me what needed to be done and followed up with a phone call. My car was ready that same day.Great service, amazing customer service at a reasonable price.

THE BEST PEOPLE. i had a rim problem that another auto service company caused and long story short causing my car to have 3 really cool rims and one loose, ugly, and potentially dangerous rim. The front desk man was very nice, professional, and helped me with my problem without needing an prior appointment. these guys saved my butt!! i am definitely returning here if i need any other car services. 10/10
