Coopers auto repair was great they did a thorough analysis of my 1967 Cadillac and came up with a plan that fit my budget to get the important work done they stand behind their work with a warranty thats coast to coast

Ive taken my car to Coopers twice now, for routine maintenance and once when my car broke down. Both times, they provided timely service at a fair and affordable price. On top of that, the customer service and communication with them has always been top notch. With service and care so great for the car and customer, I cant see ever going to a different garage. For as long as I live in the surrounding area, I will be taking my car to Coopers.

They were very nice and professional. I took my car in to get a full inspection. The results were very detailed, but the quote to repair my war was extremely high. To their credit, they did tell me that due to the price, it wouldnt be worth it to fix my car. I will probably bring my next car here if it needs service.

I’ve used Coopers Auto for about 5 years, and they are reliable and trustworthy. I got a ride home during service, which is great. Both cars are 2006, and still running great thanks to these guys.

We bought a 1985 camper van that we wanted to have checked over thoroughly, as we planned to use it regularly. After getting an oil change, Cooper’s sent us a detailed list of items that needed to be fixed before taking it out on the road. We are a military family and were scheduled to move to our next duty station very soon. Cooper’s promised and “assured” us over and over again that our van would be ready on 6/3 or 6/4, “possibly earlier.” We agreed to this timeline and left our van with them. On 6/2 and 6/3, we called to make sure the timeline was still good. We were again, “assured” that the van would be ready by 6/4. At 3:00 PM on 6/4, we were told the van would be done by 5. At 4 PM, Cooper’s called us again to let us know they had ordered the wrong parts to the van and the parts could not come in until the following Monday.Cooper’s assured us that our van would be ready by 6/3-6/4. We sold our current home, packed our bags, planned to visit our family before moving out of the country soon. Cooper’s mistake cost us time with our family and not only that, we drove the vehicle 500 miles and it BROKE DOWN. We were diagnosed with a bad alternator and are now spending $500 more and sleeping in this parking lot, stranded. The mechanic says he does not know how this wasn’t caught and doesn’t even understand how our vehicle was running.DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. We put our trust in a company that continued to make promises that they did not keep.

It would actually take me several pages to give you the details, not only of the work done on our vehicles, but of the fantastic customer service we have received from Coopers in the last month. Coopers is very good. The shuttle service will drop off, & pick you up during repairs.They have real Mechanics, and it shows in the work. The Saburu needed some care & maintenance and she purrs like a Kitten now. I had a wonderful experience with Coopers Auto. The digital inspection is unlike anything I’ve experienced anywhere else, I got photos and details from the mechanic on what needed to be repaired. Their shuttle service is such a nice addition to great customer service. I feel they were priced very fairly and even offered discounts and warranty on their work. I appreciate this place and it will be my families “hometown” shop from now on.

I wasn’t able to get in anywhere for them to fix my AC and Cooper’s was able to get me in right away. I wasn’t expecting to have to get everything replaced but I did and they were able to get it done in one day! I will definitely refer anybody to them and continue my business there!

It all started with a blinker bulb and a referral from a coworker. I scheduled replacement tailgate cables, oil change, transmission maintenance service, front brakes replaced, much need new shocks/struts (2008 Mitsubishi Raider). They speak to you like a real person and if they have to keep your vehicle over night they organize a rental car and the rental agent picks up the rental at Coopers. I drop my truck off in the morning and I get a shuttle to work. I have never experienced such outstanding service from any other auto repair company. I had a rodent nest in the engine compartment of my Bronco, Coopers did a great job in repairing my electrical harness and gave me a fair price to get other work done in the area while they had parts removed. The completed the work was on time and stayed in the estimate. Always a good experience there, they have a knowledgeable staff and communicate well during the repair process.

I chose Cooper by their advertising on the web. Im so happy that they are as awesome as I had hoped. They were quick, kept me informed and answered all of my questions even after I asked and asked until I understood what they were talking about. I love the attention to detail, I loved the show and tell so that I knew what was wrong with my car and pictures to prove it. They were reasonably priced and helped me choose the most serious problems and what I could afford.I would recommend then to anyone AND when my mechanic retires, I already have a new places lined up. I find Coopers Auto Repair friendly, fair pricing, and excellent workmanship. They go out of their way to make sure you are happy with their work. I couldn’t afford a new exhaust system, so they went beyond their call of duty and fixed the old exhaust system explaining it was a temporary fix until I could afford to have it replaced. Most shops would have just said that’s all they could do. But nothing Coopers! They fixed it so it was safe to drive.... and it’s still holding! I have been going to Coopers for repairs for more than two years now and would not use any other shop. I have been ripped off by other shops in the past. I find coopers to be honest and forthright. If it’s mot worth fixing, they will be honest and tell you so. I recommend them highly. The staff are courteous and helpful.

The door handle on the driver side broke off and the piece got wedged in the remote window. This jammed the window and Coopers repaired it quickly. This was our first trip to Coopers and we have been looking for a professional, honest repair shop for some time. I highly recommend this repair shop and they really care about the customer.

I recently used Coopers to do a PPI inspection on a used car. They did a very thorough and honest inspection and gave me the peace of mind to purchase the vehicle. They also flagged some things to be aware of, which I was able to bring to the attention of the dealer for them to repair before purchase. I live over 30 minutes away from Tacoma, but was happy enough with the service that Im considering using them as my local mechanic.

They seem to be honest about what is needed and not needed and their diagnostic process where you receive the results via text is great. They made some very unexpected auto repairs go as smoothly as it possibly could and went way out of their way to help me. I’ve been to both the Puyallup and Tacoma location and what I love most is that they’re honest about what needs to be fixed now and what can wait. They won my trust with that. Ok, let me start by saying Wow and Thank you! I spoke to the really nice Young Lady a few days ago to set up my appointment. No problem there. She explained to me that Cooper Auto will not do any work that does not need to be done. Ive not heard that before. I was prepared to hear how badly my vehicle needed certain repairs, but I didnt. I was met by 3 AWESOME employees who were friendly, courteous and very respectful of my time. I was shuttled by Cooper Auto to a place where I could wait. Very nice. Didnt expect that either. So now Im waiting. I was told Id receive a text with a link to my vehicle to show what was found during the inspection. Wow. Never had that before. They included pictures, so I knew I was looking at my vehicle. They followed up with a phone call, we discussed the issues and I only need to choose a course of action. Again - WOW. Im impressed. All I needed today was an oil change, air filter replacement and a couple of bulbs needed. Again, Im impressed. Great price for the work done today. Easy to understand read out on the things I need to fix. Yes I WILL go back to have these done. I NEVER heard that my vehicle would be unsafe if I left without having them done. As a Srnior and Veteran, I appreciate all they did and would DEFINITELY recommend this business!!

A family friend has a 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe that had a squealing belt. This car is the only way to earn an income through food delivery, causing great stressed and high anxiety about the repair cost. Im impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the digital inspection feature that was sent to us via text message link . The inspection was thorough and included photos and detailed description of what was urgent and what could wait. This place is outstanding. Took a vehicle in that I purchased in late December. The vehicle was fine at first, then I got a check engine light.These folks went through the vehicle top to bottom. They texted me and called when they were complete. They had bad news for me, as the turbo was failing, the oiling system was failing, there were multiple error codes and more things wrong with blow-by and manifold problems.Bottom line is they told me it wasn’t worth fixing the car, and to buy a new vehicle sooner than later. Bad news for me, but Refreshing honesty...5 STARS!I’ll be bringing my 2021 Subaru in when it eventually needs service, because this place is reliable and TRUSTWORTHY.

I had a great experience here. First of all, I messaged them on their website on a weekend and they texted me back a quote on Monday. We scheduled the appointment over text and they offered me a free shuttle from their shop. I showed up, dropped my car off, and the owner drove me home! He was very nice. I received a text from them after an initial inspection and it contained a link to a full, thorough, digital inspection report (complete with pictures! Pictures of my fluids next to new fluids so I could see the difference, pictures of under my car, and pictures of a tread depth gauge on my tires). I then got a phone call from them and we talked about options for repairing what they noticed. I authorized some repairs and they had them done same day. Overall, I’m very impressed with how easy they made everything, the price, the communication, and the friendliness of the staff! I very much recommend using this shop and that’s coming from an injured automotive technician who just needed someone else to do the work for him!

This was my first time at Coopers Auto Repair. Lets just say I had a rough week and now my car said no oil pressure!I looked online for a place close to home. Im telling you these guys and gals are great! They changed my oil and oil filter and did a check over on my whole car! They called me and explained every detail to me as well as sending me the whole test results with pictures! So I know what needs to be fixed very soon and what can wait a little. I felt very good about the whole experience and will definitely go back there!They also gave me a ride home and came and got me to get my car. And they work with Enterprise Car rental so you can have a good deal on a rental car if you need it while yours is being fixed.I definitely recommend this repair shop! Oh and I was there for a while and noticed what great costumer service they provide to everyone!

I have a 1967 Firebird that I have owned since it was new. I have taken it to Cooper Auto Repair in Tacoma, Wa, the last few years and would never have anyone else work on my car.I find their workmanship beyond reproach and very reasonably priced. The employees were nice enough, but the price seems a little outrageous. $670 for upstream and downstream sensors? The entire job cost almost $2k. Ow.

I have used Coopers a few times and staff are always professional and efficient. I like the link they provide and pictures of concerns they find and also rating concerns from minor to major. That way you have an idea of what work is needed and which is a priority to prevent further damages and cost. Also Coopers provide AAA discount which helps.

All time favorite place Ive ever taken a car to be looked at. They were honest with me when they told me my vam wasnt worth what it would cost to fix it and that it wasnt safe. They also got my car in amd fiexed my car quickly when it broke. I like that they text you the diagnostic also.

Coopers Auto has taken care of by PT Cruiser since I moved to Washington in 2013. They do a wonderful job at a reasonable price. I have never felt overcharged. They explain to me clearly what is needed, give me an honest estimate, and if the charges come out to less, I get the benefit of that. They are great people to work with. I would recommend this repair shop to anyone! The employees were very respectful, knowledgeable, and flexible. As soon as they were done with a complete inspection on my car (a few hours after dropping it off) they sent me an extremely comprehensive and detailed report on what is and what is not wrong with my car. If they claimed something was wrong, they also provided a detailed explanation of what was wrong, how to fix it, and included pictures.They were also able to text me, which is very convenient for me because I have a weird class schedule. We communicated fully by text one day and by phone another day.Lastly, I’ve gone to multiple repair shops due to a check engine light being on, and no one else but this repair shop has been able to fix it.All in all, I would definitely recommend this repair shop. I’m moving out of town, but plan on coming back to this specific shop for future auto repairs because I liked it so much.

My Experiences with Coopers’ has been amazing so far! My first visit they gave me a full diagnostic list, so I could price put everything and work on it as I am able & they never pressure me to do more than that. I upgraded my car less than a year ago from a 2000 to a 2014 and have been frustrated with ongoing issues; multiple mechanics have been struggling to diagnose it properly, but the Guys at Coopers have been helping me get to the bottom of it’s issues. They’ve done multiple diagnostic & driving tests, and while my car won’t easily tell us the problem, they have given me as much info as they can & I can budget for what might be needed. They have charged me fairly and have been up front with all costs, no extras that aren’t planned out.

If i could them 10 stars i would. i am so glad i went to coopers rather than jiffy lube. it was my first time going to them. they were really nice and helped me a lot. i am definitely going to them if i have any car issues later in the future.

One of the best features is the inspection sent to me after the service has been completed. It includes a through inspection of everything on my vehicle and how things are graded and the importance of what needs to be done if anything. I have recommended them to all my family and friends.

After the Toyota dealership said my Prius needed a new A/C compressor, I took the car to Coopers for a 2nd opinion. They found it only needed to be charged and serviced, saving me over $1000! We started using Coopers when we moved to Tacoma last year based on the strength of their online reviews, and after being a customer for a year now I can say that their reputation for excellence is well earned. They have always treated me fairly and honestly, and Ive always found their prices reasonable (and their 3 yr/36K warranty on repairs gives piece of mind).Coopers attention to detail is what really makes them stand out. When youre a new visitor (or havent been in for a while) they perform a comprehensive courtesy inspection to let you know whats doing well, what should be monitored, and what needs immediate attention on your vehicle (and that gets delivered right to your cell phone with pics). Finally, theyre the only mechanic Ive been to (and Ive moved around a lot and been to quite a few) that took the time to look at the recommended oil change interval for my 05 CRV (every 5K) and use that for the reminder stickers instead of the standard 3K. Its a small detail but I think it speaks volumes about the outstanding work and customer service Coopers provides.

My Toyota Camry was approaching 90K miles. I no longer had the warranty with the Toyota dealership and I was dragging my feet, looking for an “honest” automotive mechanic. A friend of mine told me that Coopers Auto Repair had been her mechanic for many years and that they had always done a great job, and that they always treated her fairly. I took her recommendation and I feel very fortunate that I now have found a great place to take our vehicles to have them maintained and serviced. The personnel was courteous and professional, and they communicated very clearly the services that they recommended that were needed to be performed. I am very impressed with Coopers!

This place has great customer service and Clint is the best. The chairs are very comfortable in the office and that makes a big difference while waiting for an oil change or other service. They have found and fixed all our car problems.

My car was damaged in an accident and so I called wondering how to get it fixed. Micheal answer and while they were not able to assist me with my issue Michael was very polite and respectful. Would definitely consider going to them for any automotive repairs in the future
