Thank you, Yelpers! Found this place based on a diligent search. I am taking a road trip and wanted to have my car inspected prior to, hitting the road. Brandon & Toni (receptionist) were welcoming, easy going and very helpful. He did his inspection and told me upfront what he thought car needed, and the price. Super honest and fair pricing! Had my car a few hours and now she runs perfect!! **He also recommended a great tire shop to replace my balding tires!!** I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this family owned business, for all your car repair needs!!

Highly recommend the services of Brandon and Toni. Honest and clear about any mechanical issues they come across. Knowledgeable and skilled. Will not be taking my baby to anyone else. If you love your car, give Auto Correct a shot when its not feeling so hot.

Had a constant squeaking noise coming from my car after putting new wheels on. Thought it was just suspension maybe so I called Brandon and asked if he could look at it. He saw I needed wheel bearings got those done and he also found out that squeaking noise was my brake pads so he put new ones on and resurfaced my rotors. Great shop highly recommend and will always keep coming back for maintenance and repair.

This business fixed my car when the insurance spent 4 grand along with my deductible to a dishonest lazy company called Caliber Collision in pacific way. 4 grand to put up a side bumper?? What a joke! The mechanic here running the business with his wife. GOD bless their soul! They are phenomenal! Oil change and fixed the mistakes Caliber collision couldnt handle. No wonder they are called Caliber collision cause they can only handle brake calipers that have collision 😂😂😂These chains are all about money but not about the cars and the people that drive them. If you have issues with your car call them dont call these chain mechanic shops such as Firestone or caliber collision cause they charge you your soul! I told them I needed it done because I Door Dash and door dash is my only income and they helped me out. This is the best mechanic shop in Washington!

Excellent work and great customer service! I brought my car in with engine problems, they diagnosed it, gave me a quote, and had it fixed in an afternoon. I dont know a lot about cars, but they explained the problem and gave me options in a way that allowed me to make an informed decision. I will definitely come back here in the future.

This place is phenomenal. Brandon is now my go-to mechanic, and Toni(y?) is always pleasant to deal with. Very reasonable prices, quick work, and good. They fixed my old workhorse Subaru without judgement for 2/3 the cost quoted at the nearby specialty Subaru shop, and they didnt sound judgemental about my vehicle. They let you know what needs fixing now and what should be fixed down the road. Cant recommend more.

I went in for a prepurchase inspection and Brandon and Toni were lovely. They charged me exactly what they quoted me and did not try to pressure me into anything, in fact when I said I wanted to do as much work on my vehicle as possible, they were very supportive. I don’t live in Tacoma but if I did, I would absolutely go back to Auto Correct!

Dont make the same mistake or your car will come out worse than when it went in. Had to pay twice for my brakes. He did it then the dealership had to fix what he screwed up.

I was in a hurry to get a last minute pre purchase inspection for 2017 Porsche Macan S. They were able to accommodate me right away and the mechanic was experienced in porsche as well and went over the car in detail quickly and even summarized what items are needing repairs including the cost. Price was very fair as well. Highly recommended.

Hands down, best shop in Tacoma. I’ve been taking my car to Brandon sense he opened his doors. He is reliable, trustworthy, and honest. Tony is kind, personable, and friendly. They’ve got me in last minute, they’ve worked with me, and been flexible to meet my needs. I won’t go to any other shop. Autocorrect takes the time to explain step by step what you need and do their best to accommodate meeting your needs. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs to have service done to their car.

Went in for an emissions test and was greeted by a very kind and personable woman at the desk who fully explained the process of getting a waiver if we didnt have the money to do all our repairs. Were from out of state so this helped a lot! After that it only took a short time to get our diagnostic done, the mechanic came out to tell us what needed to be done and at what price, and was even able to figure out why my gas pedal has been sticking when one else could, and I didnt even ask about that! This place will be honest with you about the work they recommend, whats important, and the cost for the work. Ill definitely be returning here. Thanks again!

Repeat customer! went for a full front breakes replacement and as always received top of the line & AAA service . This a great shop they have excellent mechanic on board that can help you out with any car problems you may in counter.

Read till the end: they threaten to persecute me for this review!I had problems with horn not working and steering wheel backlash. My experience was extremely terrible. I spent money but they did not fix my problems! I do not recommend this service to everyone. It is terrible...I was attracted to this service by free inspection. But inspection means not diagnostics (as they explained to me upon presenting a bill). They explained, that they have no responsibility about results of such inspection. They inspected my vehicle and then suggested a small price to fix the issue with a horn and steering wheel.After I agreed, they told that real problem is something else. And price will be twice higher for the repair... I agreed again.After that, they told that nothing of my initial problems was fixed. But I still need to pay them for labor. So they made improper diagnostics twice. (Sorry, it was inspection. Inspection is different from diagnostics because when you inspect something, you can say any rave and take no responsibility - as I understood their explanation). And they just took money for time waste.To fix the horn, they removed alarm system (of course, they did not put it back, and did not fix horn). For the steering wheel: the backlash became WORSE after that repair!!!When I came to this service, guys were very nice. In the end, they were very rude when asking my money. For example, they told me that they will take my car if I will not pay. I was thinking about calling the police, but didnt do that just because I needed to come back to work soon.I thought that this issue is extraordinary just for me. But after that, I have read another reviews. Please see them at google maps marked with 1 star. You will see that it is a not one-time practice for these guys to take money and do not fix your car problem!Here are our conversations:ME: How much will be to diagnose this?THEY: Our inspections are free! ... No charge until we do the work....THEY: Repair wiring to make horn work - $66.00...THEY: This vehicle has an after market alarm system in it that is interfering with the horn operation. The alarm system will need removed in order for the horn to be operational....THEY: After getting the wiring back to manufacturer specification in order to test the system (no after market wiring), there is a wiring problem inside the steering column. I will need to take it apart to complete repairs. This would add additional labor hours to the repair. Will you provide authorization for the additional labor, bringing the bill total to $150.00 + tax.ME: ok...THEY: After electrical diagnostics, ... found that the horn circuit contact is broken inside the steering column. Unfortunately, that circuit contact is an internal part that cannot be replaced by itself without removing and rebuilding the entire steering column ... The bill total is $151.17 (this includes putting the wiring back to stock as well as electrical diagnostics and labor for disassemble and reassemble of the front half of the steering column). Your horn will NOT work with the key on until such time as the steering column has been replaced.UPDATE:On the same day service owner responded to my review on Google maps (you can see it below). They explained charge:- ...Our technician spent at least 3 hours... (but they did not write that technician could spend 3 hours smoking or sleeping with the same result of your horn will not work. I do not know what he really did, but they OFFERED to make repair and car was NOT repaired)- ... repair wiring ... done. (my horn does NOT work)On another day, service owner posted another reply on Yelp. He mentioned a lot of disadvantages of my car (which he did not mention before). Then he threatened: WE WILL PURSUE LEGAL SOLUTIONS... (because of my reviews) I am not kitting - check that photo of comment on Yelp. I have no comments about that last statement... Of course, owner forgot to say that he did NOT fix my initial problems...

We came to get our car fixed and he charged us nearly $600 and when we got it back it still had the same problems and we came in and he started tearing us down and yelling at us!! THIS GUY IS A SCAM AND USES THE FACT THAT YOU DONT KNOW TO MUCH ABOUT CARS AND SCAMS YOU!! I WAS SCAMMED NEARLY $600 NEVER COMING AGAIN!
