I brought my van in for a visible clear puncture in the middle of the tread. The tech told me we need to replace the tire.. I asked him to plug it. I paid $40. Two hours after leaving my tire deflated again. I took it to Discount Tires. They showed me there was no plug and my tire hadn’t been fixed at all. They plugged it for free and in 1/3 the time! I will never go back to these bunch of crooks! I can highly recommend Discount Tires!!!

The location is very convenient when you are in the area and need to make that stop. I have been impressed with their level of service each time I have been here.

In mid-June 2021, I brought in my Dodge truck in because it had very slow acceleration when the gas pedal was pressed. The maximum speed in could reach was rout 50 mph. I received a call from Firestone stating that my air in-take system needed to be rebuilt. When I received a call that my truck was completed, I picked it up, drove it until I reached the Capt D’s, and returned to Firestone because my truck was no better than when I dropped it off. I had paid $428.72 on June 29th. My vehicle was kept some additional days and on July 12th I received a call stating my vehicle was ready and it was the cable to the accelerator. I asked if it was test driven and they replied yes. I paid $200.42 for that service. Again, I left Firestone, reached the Capt D’s, and returned to Firestone because there was no change in my truck’s performance. When I returned to Firestone, the manager spoke with the service technician and was informed that my transmission was the problem. The manager apologized and refunded me the $200.00. I took my truck to a transmission repair near Firestone and the technician took me for a test drive. He told me that it was a transmission problem and that the gas pedal was not operating correctly. I told him that the acceleration cable was just replaced. He responded that it was not installed properly, and he will correct it at no charge. The work that was performed on my truck NEVER solved the problem. Firestone never repaired the problem but replaced parts that wasn’t the cause of my truck’s problem.

Took my car in for an alignment and an oil change I did need one tire but these guys were great I asked if I really didnt need but one or should I get two they only sell me one they put the oil in that was not going to be the most expensive because my car wasnt running the most expensive they did a great wheel alignment they kept me in the loop continuously and they were so prompt and courteous I will use them every single time I have any kind of needs related to my tires almost anything for that matter these guys were awesome

Was on my way back from our lake house in Vance, SC. We were on I26 when our SUV began to shake ready bad. We got off at the Summerville exit and saw the Firestone store. Andy was very kind and professional. He came outside checked the tires. We needed a new tire. Even though it was close to closing time he put the new tire on and we were on our way in a very short time. Thanks again Andy! 😃

Way over priced service, I ask for explanation and to help with any discount. No help, then I look on Firestone website, coupons were available and could have been applied to the services paid for. They charge $20 more for an alinement than other places because they offer a coupon but don’t apply it. Horrible service, I will never take another vehicle to Firestone.

DO NOT use the website to schedule an appointment. If you do, be prepared to receive a call shortly after, explaining that there arent any appointments available. I do, however, recommend using this location. After I was told there werent any appointments available for 4 days, I was told I could come, wait and they would fit me in. I chose to do so.I was assisted by Amanda and she was great. She apologized for the website scheduling confusion and would get my car service done ASAP. My vehicle service was completed within an hour. That was way more efficient, than I expected. I would rate higher for service, but was real frustrated after I scheduled an appointment online, rearranged commitments to accommodate and was told 20 minutes later, that they could not follow through on that commitment.

Employees clearly do not want to work at this location, they were outside smoking when I pulled in, I greeted them and they looked annoyed and did not respond. I walked in the office, one of the smokers came in a minute or two later.I Called on a Monday to schedule drop off on Wednesday, they said no need for an appointment, just drop it off. When I arrived at 9:45am they said it could not be done that day. Then proceeded to come up with every reason why they could not do an alignment on my vehicle.

Do not waste your time, went with a 4Runner a common car and they aligned it and also caused the VSC light to come on, they looked at it and simply said go to toyota, went for a alignment spent $193 for the lifetime plan that I will never be using since they apparently cant align my vehicle, and now have to go to toyota to get whatever they broke fixed at my own expense, just take it to another shop or your dealer not worth the time, nice people and they technically aligned the vehicle but also gave me a new issue that I now have to go get resolved. NOT HAPPY.

Scheduled appointments on the website and was told they wouldnt do a AC check for my appointment time because the tech left at 5. So I asked what appointments and valid times and dates that can be booked. I was told drop it off over night, I asked if they provided transportation and was told no. So I let them know I couldnt drop it off Id have to wait. So I said ill book after what times and dates are real appointment times and I was told Id prefer you bring it in the morning. I said so the website appointments wont be honored? He said not in the afternoon, I prefer you set a morning appointment . A woman called me back to cancel my already canceled appointment and reschedule it. So I asked her the same questions, and she said 5 pm is too late for a AC diagnostic but you can bring it Tuesday morning. Okay 5pm is too late, my only option are mornings? No afternoon appointments ? She paused and said no. So I asked whats the latest in the evening? She said 2pm. I have scheduled about 7 different appointments for local firestones and all called and canceled. Whats the point booking online if you wont honor them?

Made a 9am appointment almost a week in advance. Was told theyd probably have to order parts, so it may not be done until the following afternoon. Dropped my car off early, and after hearing nothing from them about the estimate, I called at 1:30. Were about to look at it, was what I was told. I call back at 3:30 and they tell me they havent even looked at it but they promise theyll look at it first thing in the morning. As in at least 24 hours after my appointment. The problem with this is that theyll have to order parts and I cant be without a car for at least another 24 hours longer than I had planned (which was 2 days at a same day service company). So now my power steering remains broken and this weekend Im taking my kids on our first vacation in years, which we are driving out of state for. Bravo, Firestone.

Decided to try the brand new Firestone Complete Auto in the Cane Bay Plaza by Publix.The young girl who took my information and concerns was extremely professional and accommodating. I needed a flat tire repaired so I brought the car over approximately 9:30 am ( they closed at 6)( Saturday) and I was quoted $30, the justification was they had to replace the stem and valve whenever they change a tire, however I was there for a patch so, I guess he already had it in mind he was going to sell me a new tire. Around 3 pm I drove by and saw the car in the bay and decided to go in and pay and wait to pick up the car. The “manager” comes out asks if he can help me then starts with, “ I’ve been trying to call you” ( however on my phone even after verifying the number they have) there is NO missed calls, voicemail or evidence of any calls from them! ( So now I’m sure he’s a dirtbag liar) then, he proceeds to tell me that I have to replace the tire and conveniently he has 1 tire left for the price of $165 but he can’t fix it today because he has guys who are going home( in 3 hours) and they can’t just throw a tire on it, it’s not that simple. Meanwhile he’s had the car there from 9:30- 3 pm and NOTHING has been done! So I guess he thought out of desperation I’d agree to the $165 and tolerate his behavior and shady business dealings but instead we filled the tire up and took the chance to bring it home rather than EVER deal with his low life, rude and unprofessional behavior. I seriously hope Firestone Complete Auto care of Cane Bay reads these reviews and recognizes they have an opportunity as a new location to rectify this situation as they have a prime location for business but absolutely TERRIBLE management!!!! Would NEVER recommend this business!!!!!

I went in on a Friday evening between 4:30 and 5:00 p.m. and told the lady at the counter that my vehicle was driving funny. she didnt bother to ask me the problem. Just wanted to know if I was going to drop off my vehicle to be looked at. I said no I would wait then she advised me she wouldnt be able to have anyone look at my vehicle that day. Come to find out that it was separated tires that I had to have replaced . I walked out of the store feeling defeated. I went home and decided to call Geralds instead the next morning when I called I was told to come on in sorry but Firestone will not be getting my business anymore. If you want service you should go to Geralds as Firestone does not care for their customers thanks

She told me she would try her hardest to have us out as quickly as possible ( we are from out of the area). I hate negative reviews and wanted to give this new location my business even after my wife told me that our friends had a terrible experience. I called 8 days in advance to make an appointment for my day off, explained that I already had tires that I wanted mounted, answered several questions, and we appeared good to go. When I showed up to my appointment today, they informed me they couldnt do the work because the tires werent brand new. That question was never asked when I made the appointment. I guess its my fault for not asking but you think that would have been a qualifying question.

I am baffled that anyone has had a positive experience here or has come out with a sound vehicle. I had a blowout and they were the only tire shop open and they were able to fit me in. I was immediately told my Amanda that what happened to my tire wasnt what happened and that I was riding on the rim. I was not. I was told that the two tires being replaces would be rotated and aligned. They were not. I drove the car to work the next day and almost wrecked getting onto the interstate. So I bring it back to Firestone, my husband had made an appointment, they acted like he had not. I was 30 minutes early and was there for over an hour and a half. The last 20 minutes they decided to look at my car. Come to find out the back track bar was badly bent, causing the tire to tilt outward and rendering the car inoperable. They had never once looked at it the previous day nor mentioned they had no one there to look at the alignment. Never had it aligned. They put the new tires on and sent it out never checking their work. But they were quick to quote me for the wrong part that was bent saying they could fix it for an additional 396 dollars. Do yourself a favor and go to a reputable place of business. Also, while there multiple people came in with issues after having work done there so I can assure you this incident was not isolated. I will pay double for better, competent service anywhere else.

Came in for an oil change and the manager was extremely rude. Was charged for the standard oil change and extra oil. The next week my car’s oil light came on so I checked and there wasn’t even oil in my car!I went back and told the manager what happened and demanded a refund. He still had an attitude. Not the first problem we’ve had with Firestone. Also, the “last serviced on” sticker they gave me had an odometer reading 3,000 miles higher than what my car even has. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Scheduled an appointment to have tires removed from wheels that were already off my truck. Arrived 30 minutes early and left the wheels and tires by the bay as Amanda behind the desk asked. An hour and a half past my appointment time my tires had not even been touched. Amanda told me they were really busy today. Isnt that why you schedule appointments? I wish that would have been conveyed when I arrived. I told them never mind and I put my untouched wheels and tires back in my truck. I wasted almost 3 hours of my day for a job that should have taken 15 minutes. The professional thing to do would be to communicate with customers and set realistic expectations. Wont be going back to this location.

I have been to other firestones in the past and not had a very good experience. This particular location (the manager Lee in particular) have made all the difference and given me the best experience Ive had in a very long time! The picture below is how a different shop fixed my TPMS sensor, yes that is duct tape! No it did not hold properly! The other shop also let me go with a bent rim among other things in a saga. Lee took the time to hear what was going on with the saga from beginning to end (actually wanted to look at things from the big picture) and not only knows his stuff but did everything that he could to take care of me as a customer (counting today I have had the same problem at four different places and this is the first one that caught the problem). I had written Firestone off forever prior to this, and I cant say how much I appreciate Lees help!

My wife took in our 2011 Volvo XC90 on August 31st for an oil change. I usually check behind auto service centers to make sure they do what I pay for. Well, good thing I did. They can’t even fill the oil level to the correct line😑It was about 1.5qts low. I’m no mechanic, but I know that can’t be good for the life of my vehicles engine. I will NEVER take it back to them.

Called in to get 2 replacement tires for my Vette with a flat. Agreed on a set and price with and delivery within 2 days. On arrival Im told the tires dont fit (they fit according to TireRack.com) and the next best set is $300 more and a week later. Extremely difficult to get a hold of anyone by phone and the automated message said the shop was closed despite the hours on Maps/Firestone website showing them open. Recommend Mavis instead.

They don’t even deserve one star, to be completely honest. You shouldn’t get a star for just existing. That’s like getting a participation trophy.Took my 2007 BMW 335i there, PAID for an alignment and did I get that? No. Instead, I took it to Total Mini and BMW here in Charleston and was told that Firestone didn’t even TRY to align it. The pins weren’t even pulled bro. You failed. I got a flat tire the night before. AAA put my spare on, and I was able to get to Firestone first thing in the morning. I was there right when they opened and didn’t have an appointment (sorry guys). But they were able to get me in, replace my tire, put my spare away, and get me on the road in just over an hour and a half. I was able to get to work on time and the guy at the counter was really nice and very patient with me!They do need to clean their bathroom though...

These guys go the extra mile! We had a major puncture and took it to them to get the tire replaced and it being a work day they for us in right away. The tire was obviously shot after the blowout on the interstate and the price they were able to give us was more than fair. Highly recommend. We were only 2 hours late for work.

Took my car here because i just got it lowered and i needed an alignment. I was hearing a roaring noise from my front right tire so i thought the alignment would help some. Got the alignment done here, nothing changed noise was still there. Went a few more weeks, noise still there. So i figured it was my wheel bearing. They said my tires were out of round, so i got new tires. Noise still there, i doubt they even test drove it and they had my car overnight. Never going there again, i basically lost over $600 and still have the problem with my car. Thanks for ripping me off

Each time with a appointment scheduled, always came 15 minutes early, and every time Ive been told they cant honor the appointment due to them not having the guy who does vehicle inspections present. Took my car in for a brake inspection because another shop had told me I needed a $2400 brake job. They did a thorough inspection and determined that my brakes were fine but that the brake reservoir cap was off so the put it back on and bled my brakes. Will definitely be back! Very friendly guys and not trying to take advantage. Thanks Firestone!

Made an appointment, took them 25 min to get my vehicle in. Was just there for an oil change. About 20 min later they were finished. When I got into my vehicle I had no windshield washer fluid, went back in to tell them, they came out to fill it up and while they were doing that I noticed my coolant level was about 1/2 inch full. I asked if they even checked the coolant, as was marked on the sheet, the guy said, I dont think we sell that. What?? Well, top off ALL fluids doesnt mean I wanted to purchase the coolant. Very disappointed. The worker never even apologized. As I told him, I will never be back!

Dont ever try to get help here in an emergency! My sons tire blowed out on the interstate 200 miles from home and they where only concerned with selling him a whole set of tires for $320 each. Would not even put a replacement tire on after we drove 3 hours to get to him with it. Very rude people with no customer service experience at all. I made a huge mistake and just reached out to corporate instead of pulling Lee the awesome GM aside but he was busy and the waiting room was full...anyways long story short I called and stated they should not be playing Fox news or CNN news or any news because my husband is Hispanic and we were sitting there with a room full of people when the POTUS brought up the wall and southern border sextrafficking and people started looking at him and underbreath comments it made us uncomfortable when in all reality Lee came to me and said hey Angi you know you can change the channel anytime...I felt do horrible because his team and all of them are awesome.

This place had my truck 6 days and they couldnt do the wheel bearing. Tire shop cannot take off spline lugs without key. Mechanics might have something have to check with each one... Its a TIRE shop!? One person can do a wheel bearing and he hurt himself on car before mine? Doesnt that kinda fit with TIRE services? Dont ask for ac to be topped off, they empty then charge you for all new. System was year old! Just a horrible experience... never going back.

I’ve given this 5 star so you will read it. It in no way reflects the horrible service that was shown to my son today. He, his wife and children had a flat tire in their van and barely made it into the parking lot. They were greeted by a rude service manager when asked if they could get their tire replaced. They were also told at around 1:30 that it would be at least an eight hour wait before they could get the tire changed. I understand having a busy day but at least show a little compassion especially when three small children are left in the sweltering heat while their dad had to remove the damaged tire and put his donut tire on “in the parking lot of Firestone Auto Care”. I’ve never had satisfactory service with any Firestone I have ever went to. I will never go to another one.

Went in for new tires and a oil change, they said they also cleaned the engine and made sure nothing else was wrong with the car. Was on my way home and the serpentine belt snapped and we where stranded in the hot in Orangeburg. Turns out the didn’t clean the engine and didn’t check to see if anything was wrong. When we took it in, the engine was covered in oil and dirt. They didn’t clean it and the oil and dirt destroyed the starter. Bunch of liers

Given 4 stars. But all they did was mount and balance 2 tires for my car.Just an FYI to customer in the camo green Toyota 4runner, dont get upset because youre standing in line next and the phone rings and they answer it and start dealing with the customer on the phone and not you. Its a corporate mentality (all auto repair shops do this) that the person in line is a customer and the one calling is only a potential customer.
