Amazing customer service. Clean waiting room. I didn’t know you had to make appointments, but someone ended up canceling so they were able to squeeze me in for an oil change. It took about 25-30 minutes. It was quick and easy. The follow ups they send you afterwards about what else needs to be done on your car next time are extremely helpful. I’m not a car person specifically, so it would always be hard describing next time what I needed done. This is very helpful. I’ll be back!!

This business is veteran owned and a family business. Exceeds the standard time and time again. I’ve had major and minor work done on my Audi by these professionals since May. They are honest, friendly, knowledgeable and great with communication. All these qualities come standard when I deal with this business, which in this age…is outstanding! Rick, Ashley and Johnathan are always friendly and helpful when I come in or call to inquire about the status of my vehicle. The prices are also fair and they have incentives for cash pricing. They also offer a military discount as well. Very helpful to us vets trying to save a buck or two! I was having serious brake troubles while traveling and needed repairs. I called A+ in a bit of a panic as I was leaving town soon and did not want to drive with brakes as bad as mine had become. I spoke to a woman named Ashley who was very helpful. They were able to to get me in at the end of the day because I was only in town for a short time. The price for replacing both rear brakes (rotors ad pads) was much lower than the one quoted to me by another, well known national chain and it only took about an hour. I have had no problems since.

My rear window defogger was not working. They electrically trouble shot the system, checked the heating element and determined that the electrical connector had come disconnected from the glass. Their abilities to re connect the electrical connector to the glass prevented me from having to purchase a new glass. Thank you to Ashley and the whole crew there.Next day follow up...the defroster works great! Thank you all again for the help.

This was not a very customer centric experienceAll communication on their end was done via text which was fine if I didn’t have to call them a number of times to get an update.What really upset me was when I picked up my car I called them to I ask why my speakers were not working and I asked if the programming of the computer had any effect on the audio and I was told they would call me back, but like all other communication, I’m still waiting for a call back. I realized on my own that I was a blown fuse on the amp and fixed it my self. Maybe after some point I will get a call back but in the meantime I will never return to this company to their failure to stand behind what they consider customer service.

I had a problem with a check engine light. I told them the price they wanted to replace I already did myself not to long ago. They still charged me to do it instead of finding the issue. The check engine light came back on the same night I picked it up from the shop. I asked them if it came back on what what happened they told me it was under warranty. But then when I brought it back in instead of them fixing the issue the first time they turned around and told me that it’s a different charge not under warranty. So I ended up having to pay them again and even more this time. They totally ripped me off. I know this because I am a mechanic myself I can do it myself I am just busy with work and don’t have time. Bad enough that I can’t even take it to a trustworthy mechanic to give me an honest answer, this is why I do not use mechanic shops never again.

A+ gets an A+++++ for me! They sent me a full inspection of my truck when I was only there for an oil change. And it was free! Now knowing what is wrong with my truck Ill be back to get the work done. And Ashley was the nicest person Ive ever dealt with at a shop. Surprisingly knowledgeable. No offense! Dont go anywhere else!

Heres just one example of why Gab and his team, over at A+ Auto are simply beyond and above the rest: Sunday evening I got a flat. I called Ashley Monday morning, she said there were no slots, but to come in anyway. When I arrived, she was on the phone with the parts distributor. She hung the phone up and said, I be right back, Im gonna go get that darn tire. Quick-fast, she did just that, returned, and I was out of there swift-like. They get it done.P.S. The distributor pulled in as I pulled out. Beautiful.

Had to buy new battery (road service AAA). When the new battery was installed, kept getting check charging System light. Took it bac to AAA 3 times. They didnt fix it. Took vehicle to A+, they diagnosed several issues. A+ fixed the issues and no more warning lights. I am very pleased.

A Plus Auto does a fantastic job keeping our fleet of 5 vehicles up and running! They do extensive inspections and recommendations, but at the same time are not high pressure. They stand behind their work with an amazing warranty. I dont take my vehicles anywhere else.

I put the car In on Friday and they were done by Monday and made sure I had a thorough detailed list and made sure everything that had to be done and should be done soon. I would recommend this auto place to anyone. The name A+ fits very well.

Had a starter replaced which was under the two piece (upper and lower) intake manifold on top of the engine. Got charged extra labor and parts to get the manifold disassembled which wasnt necessary. Entire manifold can be removed as an assembly as shown on You Tube.

If you looking for Gold Standard service don’t bring your car here. My car was towed in on Sunday and I entered a work order on Sunday Night. I went by Monday morning to drop off my keys and they said it wasn’t in the system. Monday evening I called to get an update and I was told that the car hasn’t been looked at. The attitude from customer service was the worst Ive experienced. The following day I called and the same thing. I was never offered any kind of explanation as to why the car hasn’t been looked at. Again, the customer service person could have cared less. With no timeline offered as to when my car would be looked at I went to pick up. Again, the customer service person was never apologetic or offered to bring in my car to take a look. The car was parked around back and it took them 30 minutes to pull around front. Again no apologies. So, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! They really don’t care about the customer.

This is definitely the place to go if youre in summerville. Friendly staff did the job right and didnt charge me an arm and a leg. Very nice lounge as well.

My 4Runner needed some basic maintenance and a rear tire repair before a long road trip. Let me tell you, I had complete peace of mind on that road trip because of the service levels I received from A+ Auto. From being super helpful at booking an appointment that worked with my schedule, to consistently keeping me informed, to sending me an electronic, detailed inspection of my vehicle, I couldnt have asked for better service. A+ Auto Service is my only auto service provider from this point forward.

The crew at A+ is always friendly, they do great work and get my vehicle up and running in a timely fashion. I am a contractor so I need my truck. Pathfinder was dropped off and was suppose to have a tune-up and clear engine codes. They had our vehicle for 4 days and nothing was done. Very unprofessional, no call to update us on the status, and then it took over 20 minutes for them to get the car for us. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS AUTO SHOP!!!

I had my truck towed to A+ just before Christmas when it died on me. It turned out to be the fuel pump and filter needed to be replaced and I had a bad coolant leak. I like the text system they use to send updates. My truck runs so Im pleased about that. I like their warranty. My only issue is that I had a 20% coupon (I was glad about that because I wasnt looking forward to the big bill). When I picked up the truck, I asked if they had applied the coupon and was assured they had. I couldnt get the invoice until I paid (also FYI 3.99% added for cards vs check or cash) so I didnt know they had only given me a $99 credit. Im not sure why since theres nothing printed with a limit. Anyway, they did a good job and were very professional. Id recommend them.

This is by far the best experience I have had getting my car fixed. They were very friendly and professional. They sent me a report on my phone that showed me what was wrong with my car. It also had pictures and a video to show me evidence. Another thing that stuck out.is they can repair anything on your car and they have tires in stock. They are a one stop shop. They also really went out of the way to build trust with me. Being a single female that is very important. They also back all their work by a 4 year 48,000 mile warranty nationwide! Simply put they are The Best and I will be returning!

All of the staff members are nice. They dont try to rip you off just because youre a female. And they always check the vehicle for anything that may be wrong. Then they send you a link so that you can see everything thats wrong. But they only fix what you request to be fixed! And their prices are average or below-average.

My vehicle broke down on my drive to work close to the shop. They had a tow available quickly. Once they had the time to look at my car they diagnosed and notified me quickly of the repairs needed and indicated potential trouble areas for the future that were not as urgent. A+ Auto went above and beyond! First, they squeezed me into their full schedule and started diagnosing my car. I received a very helpful breakdown of everything that my car needed along with other points that will need future attention or was good to go. After fixing the first issue, another issue popped up when I picked up the car, but they quickly diagnosed the problem and took it back into the shop, they even offered a loaner car. A+ Auto even threw in an oil change for me after all was said and done! These guys are great and they all know their trade very well. I will definitely be returning!

So we are new to the area and these guys came highly recommended and I see why. They fixed the radiator hose and thermostat on my Tahoe and did a great job. And we had a belt come off the ac (different issue) and they got us in right away and taken care of in about an hour and the service was superb. I am so glad we found them and will definitely be back with our vehicles. I highly recommend them.

My car had a lot of suspension work done, 4 wheel alignment needed. Assessment said my new fluids were discolored which is false, but the results of alignment was great, very pleased.

These guys were so friendly and helpful! They got my tire in very quick (had to order and it was in by the next day!) Highly recommend them and will do business with them again. FYI I called a few other places, one guy was very rude, and the other places either didnt have my tire or just had zero interest in helping.

They charged me an extra $1300 above estimate to fix my jeep. The extra was to replace wheel bearings (approx. $800) in both rear wheels. It wasnt on the initial diagnosis but they went ahead and did the repairs without calling me. In this pandemic, its not like people have an extra $800 laying around. This mechanic shop seems to be a classic swindle scheme that is common with auto repair shops from all over.

Overall, very impressed. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The services so far seem to be working fine and the prices were fair. I would definitely go back.

I’m changing my review and my rating based on my last experience two weeks ago when I took my van here because the check engine light came on. After $700 and three trips back to your location leaving my van for two days at a time I’m still left with a check engine light that’s on. I also asked you to look at a tail light turn signal that wasn’t working and you told me the housing was melted and it all had to be replaced for $300. I decided to get a second opinion on the turn signal issue at Geralds and it cost me $15 for a lightbulb.

First time at this auto shop, and I’ll never go back. Took my car in for one problem (which they did not fix) and left with another problem. They tried to charge me for work that I did not authorize. Communication was terrible. I was inconvenienced and had to rent a car which they did end up paying for since they had to replace the defective part they placed on my car. I decided to use this shop due to all the positive reviews and feedback, but I was highly disappointed.

I just tried here because it was close to my home. Very informative people. I always test a new shops honesty before I go there or tell anyone about it. And most fail. But, A+ Auto got a A. Didnt get an A plus because a lil pricey but A none the less, very good work, you get what you pay for. I will recommend.

When I call to make my appointment I was it would take 2 hours. Once I dropped off my jeep off at 9am and I was told it would be 4-5 hours. I called them 8 hours later and my jeep still was not finished. No one called me yo give me any type of update on the time or what was happening or even an apology. It costed me extra because I had to get 2 ubers to and from there that where not planned. Very unsatisfied

On August 21, 2020 my 2016 Honda Civic was towed to A+ Auto Service in Summerville, SC after it would not start. After having my vehicle for several hours, the mechanic called me to pick up the car and indicated that after a full inspection he could not find anything wrong with the car other than needing brakes, an air filter and an oil change would be due in the next few weeks. We picked up the vehicle from A+ Auto Service along with the paperwork of the suggested services on the same day. The following day, my daughter got on the road to Florida, 45 minutes into the drive her check engine light came on, her car began shaking and a foul odor was present. The car was towed to the closest Honda dealership in Beaufort, SC (Stokes) where it was determined her engine lost all coolant and would need an engine replacement. The engine was replaced at a cost of 3788.37.My husband met with the owner and explained what transpired with the vehicle after having our vehicle inspected at his business with the hopes the owner would accept some responsibility. He accepted no responsibility during this conversation nor responded to a letter sent to his business address in September. Very disappointed in this owners workmanship and customer service for the business. BEWARE!

I had new wheels put on my car and their price was unbeatable. They even have an automated text system that sent me pictures of the car as soon as it was done. Awesome work at a fantastic price.

Took my truck in had oil change, electric checked battery was just replaced after only year so wanted to see why. Picked up my truck and it was worst...lights on...dask flashing, wasnt happy. Service manger contacted me, explained problem, had bring truck back and it was repaired, not for free but with there 20% discount it wasnt bad, and when picked up, was all good and working, so yes i would use this A+ service again, I found them to honorable and friendly. The people working there are knowledgeable but their prices are wayyy to high. They change more than double for the parts you buy through them. You can easily find another shop with the same quality and lower prices.

Bought a vehicle from them recently for a reasonable price that they did a lot of work on. Had a problem a few days later that turned out to be a bad solenoid. They fixed it for free immediately. Also they provided their standard warranty on all the work and parts they previously fixed. By far the best experience weve ever had buying a used vehicle. Will definitely return to this business in the future!

I’ve been looking for someone who was reasonable to check the reason on my AC not working on my vehicle. They fixed the issue in a timely manner. My AC is working and now my kids will ride comfortably. They were very professional and nice while I sit and wait. I recommend them to anyone for any service they offer.
