I got an estimate done and felt really good and it was a fairly easy repair, Craig told me i can be in and out in a day if i call at the beginning of the week. So, here i am calling on a monday (the next week) and get told they are slammed and i will get a call soon about when i can get in… okay i understand, i get it. week goes by, no call. i call again today! (another monday) just to be left on hold for 40 minutes before i hung up because i dont have until christmas to sit here. Customer service is god awful and i will be taking my hard earned money elsewhere. i recommend you dont even waste your time with this circus. Unless you want to be on hold until your unborn child is graduating college.

My experience with Jeremy from start to finish was wonderful. He was very warm and friendly. I have never been to a body shop before, but I will return for future services. My car looks brand new! Thank you guys.

I was in an accident in late October, and took my car to Fender Mender (Summerville branch) since it was one of the shops recommended by my insurance company (USAA).Excellent customer service! Im always a bit wary when checking my car in for repairs, but I can honestly say that their staff has made the experience pretty straightforward and easy. Jennifer, the receptionist, has been very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Matt, who was assigned to handle my repairs, has been very frank and communicative. I never felt like I didnt know exactly what was going on with my vehicle.Excepting the fact that my car was in an accident and needed repairs (never a good thing), it was a pleasure working with Fender Mender; Id strongly recommend them to anyone whos looking for a repair shop in the area and is on the fence about where to go.

Did some damage to my Honda Civic. They were recommended by my insurance company. They are friendly and accommodating. They did a fabulous job and had it done when they said they would. The paint color matched perfectly and they even cleaned the inside of the car. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

This shop did okay on my body work and paint. Dealing with the timeline lies was horrible. Told repair would take 3-7 business days. First go around they had my truck for over 3 weeks. They blamed my insurance company. Insurance company blamed them. My truck was damaged by a car wash. Noticed more damage on my hood when picking up from first repair. Insurance company told me take it back and it would be fixed. Dropped it off, again. Again, told 3-5 business days. 2 weeks later I called on a Monday. I was told it would be ready in 2 days. I heard nothing. Called the following Monday and they said it was ready for pickup. Nobody reached out to me to tell me to come get it. Horrible customer service. Never going here, again.

Where to begin, this place is just amazing any way you look at it. The customer service is fantastic. They went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of even by doing things that technically wasn’t their responsibility. Another huge thing I have to point out is the service manager, he definitely holds his techs accountable even for the smallest of details. If I ever have to take anything to the shop again for paint or body repair this is definitely the place I’m coming back to. Thanks Mike and Jennifer for all of yalls help.

I am not impressed with the way things were handled with my vehicle. I dropped it off before leaving for a trip for work and during that time (2 weeks) they never started to work on it at all because they said they had trouble contacting my insurance, but neglected to reach out to me about the issue. I only learned about it when I called to get an update. Then apparently they keep running into issues, costing me money on a rental car i dont have all because they refused to communicate with me when they run into problems, and are not straight forward with information. I was recommended to them by the dealership i bought the car from, but i will not be coming back and i am not recommending this to my friends.

The experience initially began poorly as I felt the customer service was poor though the quality of work was excellent. The manager Mike reached out to me personally to address any issues I had with customer service and corrected the experience. Cant complain about the service here. They do a great job. They treat your car as if it were theirs when it comes to making sure the car is completed correctly . Ive had two vehicles repaired here and Ive also referred family members who were also satisfied. Plus they found an important set of keys I lost a few months prior in my car. Me and my husband was told to take our car here. They was suppose to notice us befire doing anything to our car but was told that it was torn of list. Our car was able to drive there but lately was told that it wasnt. Someone hit our car while it was part just the bumper and head lights needs to be fix but these people went behind our back and took almost everything off our car and said that it was fixable but it was but high jeck the price so the other person car insurance pay for something that didnt had any8to do with the what happen to our car. We work to hard for our car but they decided to work on it before they let us know whats the deal.

I took my wifes 2006 BMW X3 to have some repair work done to the rear bumper. Jen was so nice and friendly on the phone and also when we walked in she greeted us with a smile. Mike was also excellent. He took his time and clearly explained to us what was going to be done to the vehicle and when it would be ready. Unfortunately, this was not the first time we have used Fender Mender. We keep going back but this time our car went in on a Wednesday and our insurance company called on Thursday to let us know the results. You can depend on this Fender Mender to do a good job in a timely manner.

I recently purchased a 2016 Audi out of state and when it was delivered the bumper and the rest of the car were slightly different colors and did not match. I took it to Fender Mender Summerville and got an estimate from Dan to have the bumper repainted and worked with him throughout the process. Jennifer also helped and was great. The car was finished on time and came back at a cost under written estimate!! Definately appreciate all they did for me since this was an out of pocket repair and not an isurance claim. We are from Florida and had an accident in SC while returning from PA. We had to leave our car in SC for repairs. Mike and staff went above and beyond to accommodate us in our situation. It was truly a pleasure to work with them. Thanks Mike & staff

My daughter took her car to Fender Mender to get a quote on a repair. The quote given was the highest of the three we sought out from various repair shops (nearly $200 and $400 higher) but due to schedules not lining up with the other two, we went ahead and chose Fender Mender. My daughter, who was on travel which is why we were scheduling it during this time, text me to say Fender Mender would be calling me to discuss a new issue they discovered and that a head lamp also needed to be replaced on the car along with the fender and bumper repair we had previously received the quote for.The gentleman from the shop called me the next morning, explaining that the head lamp needed to be replaced due to cracks in the head lamp and that moisture would get into the head lamp, causing shorts in the future if not replaced. He then quoted me nearly $1000 MORE than my original quote. When I asked him why this wasnt on the original quote, he told me that they do a visual quote,they dont open anything up during the quote.Why not? Why would you do a quote on collision damage on a 2015 vehicle and NOT at least open it up some to see if there is supplemental damage to parts in the area you will be working?If this is Fender Mender company policy, this needs to be addressed at the highest level! This is not only lazy and incomplete, this makes customers feel like they are being baited into spending more money. Especially when the repairs are being financed by an individual and not insurance, usually with budgeting and saving. If this is a local/regional policy, this should be corrected by the corporate leadership for reasons listed above.After talking to Fender Mender, I looked up how to install a headlamp on my daughters 2015 Veloster. The gentleman at Fender Mender (remember, this was going to add nearly $1k to my total) informed me that he was able to find a refurbished OEM headlamp for $585 and advised me that I would have to take off the front bumper to install the headlamp. I then looked online, found LED projection headlamps (new) for $385 and a YouTube clip by the manufacture on how to install. (FYI, removing the entire front bumper entails removing 8 plastic clips and 5, 10mm bolts).The final product did look great. The final bill was about $150 more than the quote, even though they tried to save as much money here and there. Overall, I would NOT recommend Fender Mender due to how I felt the headlamp was approached and the lack of attention to detail when performing the visual inspection.

Could not have had a worse experience with a professional company. Took 2.5 months to get my truck back from this shop. Attempted to give it back to me after 7 weeks in embarrassing condition. Fenders misaligned, paint not matching, both new headlamps fogged up, truck bed was left loose, bumper misaligned, overspray all over it etc. The manager Kevin is a liar and was caught in lies numerous times. The writer Tony Yesso is the single handed least professional person I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Had to get a different writer once I brought my truck back for them to fix it, again as he (Tony) refused to finish the job. They do not call with updates, they do not do what they say they are doing, they will tell you to be at the shop at a certain time to pick your vehicle up then leave the shop early to go to dinner (Tony) and force you to call their boss and make them do what they said they were going to do. After 2.5 months of being without my truck, I STILL have to bring the truck back to make it right. Attempt #2 at painting the truck resulted in trash in the paint and a brand new dent. After bringing the truck back to them after the first attempt of repairs, and being out of my insurance provided rental car, I did not ask them to put me in a rental car (for fear of rushing them through the job just to save a dollar) they finally give my truck back to me Dec 22 around 3pm. My truck needs a second opinion of their work due to driveability problems (excessive vibrations) I had plans to drive 1000mi to Florida on Sat Dec 30th and given only 4 working days to get repairs done the truck will not be ready for the trip. I tried calling back to see if they would be willing to help out with the rental costs due to the fact they had my truck for 12 weeks, they told me flat out no. Have brought this company over $25k in work this year alone and they have absolutely no sense of customer satisfaction. The only person who went to any length to help me out at all was Jordan, thankfully he was there or I would have had to get a lawyer to get my truck right. Stay as far away from this place as you possibly can.

These guys do great body work. Fixed a dent along a crease in my fender. However, be ready to pay the price! It is expensive. Also, they broke my headlight leveling system, and my car had to be in the shop for a week afterward. That part was not fun.
