No one wants to be in the position to need a body shop, but if you are- I would highly recommend Caliber! From the moment the claim was filed I was in constant contact with them and they took care to keep me informed every day! This was a simple, yet very helpful and effective touch that helped ease my mind! The interactions I had with staff upon dropping off and picking up were both very pleasant, fast and courteous. I appreciated the attention to detail and the ease of communication. If needed, I will be using this shop in the future!
These people are liars and scam artist. They walk around the car marking any marks on your vehicle. Then when you pick it up a week late theres clear coat peeling. Where there wasnt before and they show you some blurred picture saying it proved damage was already there. I wash my car every week and wax once a month and I know every mark on my car and this was not there It looks like they scraped up against it and the clear coat started peeling when they wash it . These people will lie to your face. Stay away or be aware.
Got in a fender bender and they were able to work me in their schedule pretty quick, quote was accurate (ended up being about $300 lower than estimated, after a technician began working). They said itd take 1-2 weeks, they had it fixed in about 5 days and were able to deliver it to my house! Very happy with the work done and service

First, Caliber Collision in Summerville did a terrific job advising me of the status updates on the repairs to my car. From drop off to the end, they did a superior job texting me either daily or every other day. I have GEICO car insurance & I was able to get my rental car with no issues. Enterprise had the car delivered to me @ Caliber & that was a timesaver.Caliber advised me while driving my car to the other Caliber, debris from the construction had messed up the newly painted fender and had asked what I would like them to do…either they “touch it up” OR they dissemble the whole front end to repaint it. I appreciated Mike, the Agent whom I worked with, calling me about that.Now, the unfortunate news: when my car was done & ready to be picked up, I noticed a crack in the windshield, on the passenger side. I had asked Mike about this and his reply was, “That crack was there when you brought the car in”. No, it was NOT. He proceeded to argue with me about that. He mentioned about the crack showing up on the pictures. Guess what—it wasn’t there. He then went on saying “Perhaps I was driving the car and a rock hit the windshield”, try again. Caliber was the last one (s) to be in my car, remember the drive on I26East to the other Caliber? After that, Mike proceeded to tell me “The paint booth did it”. Okay, enough with the excuses. What are you going to do about it? Mike told me he’s going to ask the manager and I haven’t yet heard anything, it’s Tuesday evening. Don’t worry, I’ve taken the step of filing a cracked windshield claim through my car insurance since nobody will own up to *their* mistake.
They did an amazing job with my truck! The process could not have been any easier and they stood in contact with updates daily. Hope my truck never gets hit again but if it does no question I would be back. Thanks for making the beast look new again....
This is the absolute worst service I have ever received. If zero was an option I would have given it. I had to go pick up my car three times. They called the first time to say it was ready and the paint job was absolutely horrible. It had craters, dirt and clear coat drips. The technicians only response was oh you know what to look for.The second time I was called the paint was better not perfect, however when I got in the vehicle a large message saying bumper sensor malfunction was displayed on the screen and somehow the technician missed it. After waiting for 45 minutes I was told I would not be getting my vehicle that day either because they forgot to re-calibrate the sensor when they took the car apart to repaint it.One day later I was called and said that they had missed a broken wiring harness and it would be at yet another week for my car in the repair shop.The day I finally picked up my car there was no apology or anything. My car was on empty for gas and no one seem to care that they had kept my car for five weeks and had given me a subpar repair job.I will never go back to caliber collision ever and I recommend that no one else does either!!! they dont seem concerned with quality only with money!!See photos below of the paint job they attempted to give me the first time

So I walked in for an estimate to fix a scratch on a fender and the lady at the front said let me see if I can find someone. I jokingly said wow must not want my money and she said oh we have plenty of it. I said have a good day and took my business elsewhere. Obviously the customer is not that important here Beware!

What do you think about the rear bumper cover color match?Update -------------------------------------------10/15/2018I came home and thought I should update my review since after contacting the insurance estimator and going onto caliber corporate chat to refer them to this review they did fix my bumper. The caliber chat person said we will take care of it from here. The adjuster told me she would make sure it was up to her specs. It was not. The rear bumper cover is fine now, it is acceptable.And, now I see the response below from Trey. From what I am told Trey is the name of the manager I was dealing with Friday night. He knows my situation and is the one that said he will fix the car if my insurance company paid for it. If there are 2 manager named Trey there then I apologize.I feel for the people there, Zach who handled the car was fine, seems to care and was helpful. The girl at the desk was fine and helpful. I like that when I told the person on chat I needed to leave for work they only asked for a phone number and said they would take care of it. Some employees do seem to care about the customer. I will add a star for them and the fact that they can paint correctly, when they have to.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Below is the original Review from 10/12/2018 The images go with the original review.After being told this was the best they could do by the manager Friday night because the bumper is plastic.The manager told me if I went to Hyundai I would see the covers dont match at the dealership. Then Caliber in Summerville left my car out in front of the building for the weekend, from Friday evening. I am checking for a bumper sticker to give them the credit for their work they deserve.So, if you see cars with plastic bumper covers that do not match, wonder where they come from. Depending on my insurance company paying for what I consider poor work, mine might be from Caliber in Summerville.

The quality of the repair was very good while leaving a lot to be desired on their handling of the transaction getting us there. This company is NOT conducive to commercial repair and should focus their efforts with those having the time to muddle through their process.We were told that the process should take about one week, a bit long in the tooth given the time needed for the actual repairs would take one and one-half days. Dropping the vehicle off on a Monday, we didn’t hear from the shop until Wednesday stating that they hadn’t received approval for the repair. After reproducing the documents already sent, only then did they order the parts. Friday, the following week, the vehicle was ready. Sending a check for the services, we were told that we had “shorted” their remittance. They were stern in their position until we produced their estimate documentation reflecting the amount remitted.The fact that they would only order parts once they had possession of the vehicle indicates either an absence of customer trust or a cash flow issue. Once again, great work if you have the time.
I have a 2014 dodge ram 1500 that got damaged in a car wash. The car wash would not pay for my damaged so I put it though geico thay sent me to caliber collision in summerville sc. It ripped the ladder rack off and bent my bed on both drives and passenger side and .I dropped my truck off on Friday at 8:30 am and by Tuesday at 8:30 my truck was ready all fixed and painted. I have a degree in auto repair and did body work all so .Thay did a amazing job on my truck and had it back to me fast as thay could with no problems. And answered all my questions and keep me updated at all times. I would definitely use them again for any body work.
Good communication while work was being done, explored ways to lower the cost of my repair. Repairs took about 2 weeks from start to finish.
Really poor work, it feels like they just through my car together as fast as they could and didnt care about the quality. For starters they tried to give me a side panel that was still dented and had flattened out one of the sharp lines that is part of the cosmetic looks of the car. I just got it back after they fixed that and notice the smaller details of the car are all wrong. They put on the wrong color emblem, the back light isnt working properly causing my turn signal to spaz out. (They didnt even bother to take the words written with marker off the light) They put on the wrong diffuser. AND as it if it couldnt get any worse the back up camera isnt aligned correctly, I can almost see my whole license plate when backing up.....Also I wasnt a big fan of the paint job. A lot of orange peel texture. However I decided to let that go at the very beginning.
This repair shop is the fastest one I been to yet, they kept me informed day by day about the repair on my car was coming along and my car was done on time actually it was done a week earlier then what they told me . I highly recommend caliber collision to anyone who needs repair done on their car . Thanks caliber collision for helping me get my car back on the road 😊

Very impressed with the customer service. From when I took it in to get the estimate and was given very honest answers. To having an issue with headlights and a window after repairs where done. Great job on getting my bumper replaced and it was even done earlier than projected.
I really wanted to leave a better review, but unfortunately we had a horrible experience with this shop. When dealing with them keep all documentation, dates, times and names of people you spoke to for every encounter! The customer service (front desk lack of professionalism) and communication with Paul were completely unacceptable! Our repairs were covered by an insurance claim (those details were worked out with Caliber before drop off) for a 2 day repair that took 2 weeks. We had to constantly call and get updates because Paul NEVER called us! Come time to pick up the vehicle they came with a total $500 over what was agreed upon between them and the ins company. That should have been worked out before we showed up to pick up the vehicle, but unfortunately it wasn’t and due to it being the end of the day I went home without my vehicle. The kicker was when they denied even knowing it was an insurance claim, which they in fact had documentation of. My issue with that is if they assumed we were paying for it then Paul would have called us to let us know what the estimate was before starting repairs, as well as communication of additional costs along the way, which NEVER took place! The cost was eventually worked out between Caliber’s manager and ins, but this created way more stress and frustration for a minor repair than necessary! The failure was on their part and they offered no apologies for their mistakes.

Took .twice as long as estimate on time to repair and parts were installed incorrectly and sloppy. Truck sat for a full week before it actually even had any work completed by this actually shop
Called to get an estimate on something very specific (replacing a windshield seal on a specific make/model vehicle), but the receptionist said that I had to come in to the shop in order to get one. I would also have to go back to the shop once an appointment is available...fix your process! Ive done business with Caliber Collision before (different location), but I think thats about to change. Why would you make a customer drive into your shop for something that is textbook material (the make/model + the cost of the seal + labor = estimate).
Very Professional with Experience
The rental car was not setup and became a 3hr task. However, In the end Im pleased. Work looks good with attention to the details. Caliber took care rental turn and delivered car to me. I would recommend as detailed work is the key and customer service made up for a Rocky start. Good 4th quarter win! Solid 4.5.
Weve had our new car serviced here twice from two wrecks. They do an awesome job! They give updates regularly, the do quality work, and they even paid for the rental when the other persons insurance wouldnt. They staff is very friendly and professional. They also educate you so you can really gain insight to your vehicle. Chris and Hal are awesome guys.

Unsatisfied to SatisfiedPicked my car up and I saw a couple small things that were not right. It was not that big of a deal. I was just going to let it slide. Then I saw more and more. I called and explained what all was wrong, ie, license plate bolts missing, smelled like cigarette smoke, windows not clean etc. So I was transfered to the Manager Chris. Let me say he is great! He took care of everything and then some. He went well out of his way to make sure that everything was up to the standards of what their business says they will do.Thanks again Chris
We had a horrible experience with this company. A two week job took over a month and then find out the engine was blown because they sent our daughter home with a car that should not have been driven. They did not take the time to look thouroughly at damage to detect a busted radiator. Never use them again.

We dropped off our car after a minor fender bender on 7/3. Hal, at Caliber Collision, was available to answer all of our questions and give us updates on the progress of our repair during the time our car spent at the shop. When we picked our car up on 7/14, Hal indicated that he had fixed our front bumper (damage not from the same accident) because of the unusual length of time it took to make our repairs. Never once did we complain about our service at Caliber Collision; Hal graciously took it upon himself to make this extra repair free of charge, and for that, he, and Caliber Collision, have earned customers for life. Ive had two vehicles brought in here. cheap work. they cut corners, I had a bed liner in my truck and the liner they applied to the new bed was so cheap it was basically a coat of black paint. there was dog hair in the back of my truck when I got it back also.They returned my other truck with more damage than I brought it in with after getting an estimate and said it was already like that. choose another repair shop.
A horrible place they did a horrible paint job on my vehicle I took it back to get it redone and the manager said oh that’s an easy fix we just need to buffe it out he took it back and 10 minutes later my car was done nop u could still see where the excess paint had drip. They took it back again expected that I pay for a rental car while they fixed there mistake and when they finally gave me my car back there was a lot of compound powder all over my car. They also gave me my car with no working fog lights they blamed it on my fog lights upgrade I did and that it kept burning out my fues. They said if they checked it it would cost more since they had to take it to a electrician so I decided to take it home and get my husband to check it out well to our surprise this guy connected my fog lights incorrectly instead of being ground with ground they connected it the opposite way causing the shortage of the fues. With that been said this guys can’t even connect a simple fog light much less do a paint work. horrible place worst ever never again and if u do go please check your car before u leave and make sure there’s light because I got my car back on a Friday Evening around 6:30 when it was dark and raining. Please don’t pick this unprofessional place because the manager there is horrible as well as his workers
They are nice. When you get your repairs done here make sure you ask them which location your car be worked on at. I assumed that my car was being repaired at The Summerville location Because that’s where I requested from my insurance. Then I needed something out my car and I found out they shipped it 2 hrs away to Pawleys Island. They told me it was because their work load was too much at Summerville. I feel as though they should have told me before shipping my car 2 hrs away.
