I had body work done and rear glass replaced on my Jeep. The work was amazing and I am completely satisfied with all the work they did.Very friendly staff and they kept me informed of my vehicles progress every step of the way.I highly recommend them for all types of repairs.

My vehicle was towed here after an accident it was determined a total loss. I was told multiple times despite not having signed any papers to my insurance company that the vehicle was no longer considered mine anymore and I could not get my belongings without prior authorization from my insurance company. Post a fight and multiple phone calls I was permitted to get my belongings while being supervised by the employees. I would not recommend. A prior accident I had been in that was considered a total loss I never had any such behavior, I was permitted to come to my vehicle multiple times despite having already signed it over to the insurance company. Also in my previous accident the damage was clearly marked with China marker on the vehicle with explanation. There were no such markings on my vehicle any where.

After my accident, Norton and Richardson came highly recommended by my dealership, my insurance company, and a trusted friend. My repair specialist Lee explained fully how the repair would proceed from start to completion. Lee provided regular updates of the repair progression. The final result even surpasses the new car’s original finish and look! Since the day I brought the car home from the dealership, the rubber liner around the hood has always been loose near the center. The finished repair corrected the manufacturer defect. I am very satisfied with the repair. I also allowed them to repair my wife’s car. They performed an outstanding work on her car as well!

Great customer service, timely and well scheduled. They emailed updates often and have the shuttle from Enterprise already arranged for certain times of the day. Your only job is to tell Enterprise to have a car waiting for you when you get there. I would definitely use this company again. I am not easily impressed and they managed to do just that. I was advised to go to a competitor to have work done but I knew these guys did amazing work. I was not wrong. Had them paint a new tailgate to match my truck that is 7 years old and even with the age and fade they were able to match it perfectly. I cannot say enough good things about Norton & Richardson Body Shop. A lady hit me in the Walmart parking lot in October, and dealing with her insurance was a nightmare. I finally floated the repairs through my insurance. My fiancé is a tow truck driver, so I have the inside on who’s the best to handle repairs. Almost every other driver recommended Norton hands down. They did amazing! The attention to detail (washing and vacuuming my car even the trunk) customer service, and letting me know about two serious safety issues that weren’t accident related but could have cause problems was phenomenal. Trust me, give Todd and the guys a try, you won’t regret it!

I cant say enough good things about this shop! I am from ATL and was in Summerville over Thanksgiving weekend when a presumably drunk driver hit my car while it was parked in the street outside my airbnb and drove off. The neighbors across the street recommended this shop immediately and it turned out they were on my insurances preferred vendor list as well. The whole process was quick, seamless and their communication is fantastic. Mike went above and beyond to make sure I was aware of every step of the process and that my car looked as good as new again. I had a minor issue after I got about 40mins down the road and Mike didnt hesitate to jump in a truck and come look at it himself. I am so thankful for Mike and the rest of the staff that helped me get my car back as quickly as possible and it looks great.

My daughter and I were on our way to Charleston for a 5 day cruise. This was our first girls only vacation. We were traveling from Tennessee and were approximately an hour out when we hit a deer. This encounter rendered my car immobile. My friend was here in Tennessee researching repair shops and came across Norton and Richardson. It was a Saturday morning and they were not open. We took a leap of faith and dropped my car off, practically on their doorstep. My daughter and I took alternative transportation to Charleston and boarded our Ship. While we were enjoying our cruise, my friend and my mother communicated with the repair shop and made all the arrangements. They were super friendly and understanding of our situation. They managed to get my car back on the road for us by the end of the week. They even called me on our way home, just to make sure we were well. I dont know if I will ever see these folks again, but I highly recommend them. This is a business that takes pride in their craftsmanship and has the best interest of their customers in heart.. LOVE Norton & Richardson - I cant say enough positive things about this body shop. I have used them 4 times in the last couple of years. I had no choice but to be directed to Norton and Richardson for body work on my vehicle that had endured a major accident. I had to go with a body shop that was aligned with the persons insurance carrier that rammed into my car. In an effort to give credit where credit is due and not be long winded, I will say that I will go back there in a heart beat should I need body work done. There was a healthy amount of back and forth communication and they were flexible and professional. Their team went over and beyond my expectations. I have come to understand they are not the cheapest body shop in town and for me that is a good thing. You get what you pay for! My car was returned to me in pristine shape both cosmetically and mechanically. They do not do engine work but they helped me to rectify a mechanical issue with a nearby dealer. I dont waste time giving recommendations on google unless someone has gone over and above to help me. Take your car here for body work and ask for Scott if you want the royal treatment.

N&R did a great job repainting an area on the front roof of my Avalanche, which had a spreading rust spot due to a rock chip a couple of years ago. I cant even tell that the roof is repainted, even though the car is eight years old. Matches my other paint perfectly.

After my car was struck on Jan 31st, it required extensive repair all the way down to needing a new frame. Norton & Richardson was recommended to me by my friend from the area who was also in the car at the time of the accident. Needless to say I couldn’t be happier with the care and service provided! Norton & Richardson was prompt and patient with me when returning phone calls and stood up to the responsible driver’s insurance company while they continued to delay repairs over an agonizing three month process to get all the necessary work completed. If you ever need work done on your car, this is the place to go! Shout out to Todd! Now my wrangler is in as good of shape as when I first bought her!!

Last year I left a less-than-flattering review when Norton & Richardson tried to fix a tricky dent in my cars roof. I was not a happy camper when I left. Over a year later, I came back to them to re-do the repair, which had failed through no fault of theirs. They took care of the work under their life-time guarantee, and did so professionally and courteously. I am revising the review to reflect their honest intent to make things right.

Did a wonderful body work. Asked for estimate on more body work on same car and never received it. Work took twice as long as estimated. Also mentioned we needed body work for 2 more cars plus the other damage on the car we were picking up. Service rep did not seem interested.

This is the worst body shop I have ever gone to.1.Body work paint color did not match. Todd went into a soliloquy of how he could paint 6 cars the same color and all would come out different. He repainted the car at my request, and guess what it matched. He said oh it does match better2. I get home and the inner liner to the hatch of the car comes undone. I push it back and tell him that it needs to be affixed properly as they had taken it off when they painted the car.3.I find a part behind the back seat. It belongs to a trim piece from the radio, that they had removed and replaced.4.The letters on the hatch of the car are coming off. He says thats the way Nissan send it. Never have I been to a body shop where the letters of the branding of the car, were coming off.

Jerry and his team fixed my car in very little time and did a superb job. The staff is friendly and I received daily updates on the status of my repairs. I would definitely trust them to do any future repairs my car might need.

I was in an accident on 2/21/14. I am new to the area and did not know where to take my vehicle. I was told that Norton and Richardson is the best in the area so I had my car taken care of here. You could not have asked for better people and better customer service every time I needed something. It was 100% worth the wait on getting my car back. After $7,500 in damagers it was worth every day I waited. I would highly recommend them to service and vehicle that you have. A+++ service.

My wife and I have used N&R five or six times over the years. Recently they painted a replacement bumper for my grandsons Celica; and just last week they repaired the damaged front end for my Aunts Buick. Both looked like brand new when done.The qualify of work done has always been 1st class. Havent received my car back yet but as far as customer service goes they are mightily lacking. Scheduled an appointment to drop my car off 3 weeks out from the date and was told it would take approximately 5 days. Here we are 10 days in and I am being told well it wont be ready until sometime next week. Now I understand that things dont always go as planned but the lack of communication from this place is terrible. No contact with any of the delays except for me calling them on the days the car was supposed to be done, only to be pushed back again. I hope their work is good because the rest of my experience is poor so far.

Moved here two years ago from the east coast my wife’s car 2018 Rav 4 XLE was involved in a hit and run recently and didn’t know where to go or who to trust for autobody since theres a lot of bad reviews for multiple business’s from bad paint matching to aftermarket parts not being OEM. My wife’s job at a local hospital recommended North and Richardson so I took her car there and once I got there Lee broke everything down on what needed to get done so he put me at ease. There was a wait time about less than 2 weeks considering Hurricane Dorian passing by, but honestly don’t get discouraged it’s well worth the wait especially if your vehicle is still drivable. Dropped vehicle off on 9/16 they got me a rental from the local Enterprise and told me in a few days it’ll be done. Picked up her vehicle on 9/23 car looked brand spanking new and you can tell where the damage was.!!!Thanks guys the wife was very excited on seeing her car back to normal!!!

The best place in town to fix your car hands down

The people here are nice but very long business. Been told since Monday that the vehicle would be ready and every day there has been a new excuse and wont call back when they say they will. Its now past 2 weeks since dropped off vehicle and still dont have it. Expect to not have your car for a while and to call them for updates.

Overcharged for half done work! I have had a couple of decent experiences in the past with very minor work (i.e. buffing out scratches) and they seemed to do a good job with reasonable prices, so I reached out to them when i needed to replace a front splitter and wheel well liner on my 2016 corvette after scraping it making a u-turn. I decided to add side skirts at the same time. I could have done the work myself (and ended up doing so) but I didnt want to deal with the wheel well liner. They said theyd do it for me and put the splitter on and only charge me about .2 hours labor. After I told them I was adding side skirts, he said it would be a little more but not too much. After I got there, he informs me that they just dont have time to install the side skirts, so I had to drive around all day with those taking up the full length of the inside of my car, so that was fun. In addition to that, they didnt install my splitter properly. They only put on the bolts and not the rivets so the splitter was sagging until I installed the rivets myself. To add insult to injury they charged me 2.5 hours labor. I got there right at 8 when they opened. I heard them crank my car at 8:15 to pull it into the bay. They were done and had my car pulled around and I was paying at 8:50. That means they were working on my car for all of 30 min, and probably even less than that. When I called him out on it, he said well if I only charged the hours I actually worked, we wouldnt make any money. Sure wish I could use that argument with my boss. Sorry I charged 40 hours of overtime this week, but I needed to buy groceries! Doesnt work that way buddy. I will never go to N&R again.

Best body shop in Summerville. They gave been in business for over 40 years. They always go out of their way to do the repairs the right way. They have your back.

The wife had a small fender bender on her new car (1 1/2 weeks old). the insurance sent us to these folks. we stopped by with out an appointment to see if they had time to look at the car. as i said minor damage. they said if we had some spare time they would take care of it on the spot. 2 hours later we check the car out and it looks like brand new again. they repaired the mag wheel and took care of the scrapes and scratches. very impressive for a body shop, friendly, and genuinely concerned about our feelings.

Ok, repairing you car takes time... I dont get it. Maybe subtract one or two stars at the most but hating or disliking the entire job they did because it took a couple of extra days (or a WHOLE hour in one case lol boohoo) to achieve quality assurance is plain childish, and spiteful. I would rather they took longer to get it right than prematurely issue my car back to me. Just my two cents.Anyway, for those of you considering them, do it. You will not regret it.

Ill never go back . was told to pick up my truck at 5. Had someone drop me off, and they didnt have my truck ready yet and wasnt ready until 6 . So much for the other place I had to be at 6.Ive had several vehicles repaired at different shops and they never call you and tell you to pick up your vehicle unless itse ready. These guys had a waiting room full of people who couldnt get there vehicle when they were told. Very unprofessional, after all the only ones whos time matters is theres, screw the customers time. Well I say screw this shop and the attitude they gave me when I complained.

This is the only body shop in Summerville I would recommend. My wife was rear-ended by a small car and significant damage was done to the rear end of her GMC. Since they were a USAA certified body shop I was able to quickly get an appointment and got the ball rolling on all the repairs needed. During the entire process Patrick stayed in contact with me, and they even have a messaging system that lets you know where your vehicle is in repairs! When the repairs on my truck started to reach the 3rd week (entirely not the body shops fault, wrong parts kept being sent from the dealerships) Norton and Richardson offered to take on the cost of the rental vehicle for my wife! They went above and beyond with repairs and her truck hasnt looked this good since it came off the showroom floor!Norton and Richardson is a very professional auto repair shop, they keep the place clean and the staff is very friendly. It can be very hard to find the right place to get your vehicle repaired after accidents, and these guys make it stress-free.If anyone I know is in need of vehicle repairs i will be sending them to Norton and Richardson for sure!
