Cute basement coffee shop with a wide array of flavors and drink options. Pastries were limited but delish! Plenty of seating for large groups but intimate enough to work alone.

The shop smells delicious when you first walk in. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming! The coffee is delicious and they have sándwiches and sweets! Yummy 😋

Use to be my go to spot, I stopped going for a while... thought Id revisit today and took a few of my children. The smell at the door is amazing!! Instant comfort for my soul, kind of comfort.... but the women that brought the drinks to our table today completely ruined the whole coffee shop experience with for them . Well just hit the Starbucks next time.

Blue Mountain Coffees is one of the nicest places in Staunton for coffee, conversation and scones. There are many other menu items that are top shelf as well. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and competent. The overall vibe is comfortable, classic and friendly.

Eh, espresso drinks are very milky. Pastries are a bit dry and breakfast sandwiches are a hard pass. It also feels like youre walking down into a dungeon. One of the only places to get coffee in Staunton these days so itll have to do.

This is a cute little coffee shop located near the glass gallery in Staunton. It’s very cozy, and has a great selection of coffees and fresh pastries. Try the turmeric latte—it was very good and not too sweet at all! I will definitely come back.

Stopped at this place on my way back home from Blacksburg. The entire experience was amazing. The coffee is delicious they have lots of syrup flavors to choose from. I got a iced mocha with raspberry and it was amazing! The customer service was perfect, it was a very welcoming atmosphere.

My favorite coffee spot in downtown! Staff is always super friendly and attentive. I love the cozy atmosphere there- perfect for rainy day book reading over a tasty latté. Highly recommend!

The bagel sandwich was excellent : chewy, fresh bagel, fresh ingredients. The latte was smooth & flavorful. Service was immediate & professional. Good place to.meet friends.

Cute little place. We visited during Queen City Mischief and Magic, and we sampled all the Harry Potter themed drinks. They were all delicious. One of the best lattes Ive had in a while!

Stopped in for a quick cup of coffee and it was delicious. Although you cant dine in at the time, the shop looked great and cozy, and I once they open indoors I cant wait to go back!

Nice little spot for a breakfast sandwich and a good cup of coffee. House brew is on the strong side and full of flavor. Staff is extremely friendly and prices are reasonable. Food was good, but could have been hotter. Bagel was on the salty side, but had tons of toppings, was doughy and chewy, and very fresh - one of the best Ive had outside NYC and Toronto. All in all its a great place to stop in before a court date or a walking tour of Staunton.

Nice quaint location. Its actually in a basement. Fresh coffee and friendly service. Being in a basement gives it the advantage of being freer from the distractions of windows and passersby.

I stopped for a quick bite and drink. Cold brew and bagel were good, conversation with the owner even better. Very pleasant experience.

We were driving home after visiting family for the holidays and need a caffeine break. This place was awesome! Great coffee and great atmosphere.

Terrible service, coffee is substandard, and the muffins are from Costco (so Im told). My husband and I went there a few days ago. The employee was incredibly rude to him. My husband turned to me dumbfounded by her behavior, but said nothing to her. I was furious and so later I said something to her about it. A woman sitting at the table next to ours said good for you for speaking up. I thought the same thing. I informed the employee that there are far too many other places in town we could go to and told her that it was now the 2nd time ( she was also unfriendly on our last visit). Told my husband, never again. The following day we visited Reunion. What a difference! My husband said enthusiastically now this is what its supposed to be like. Greeted with a smile. Not to mention or rather TO mention their pastries are amazing! Dont waste your time or money at BMC. Find the good places in town and leave happy.

Down the steps and you find a very comfortable coffee shop w lite foods. Plenty of tables for work or not. Great on a cold morning.

I found Blue Mountain Coffees right after I moved to Staunton from NJ. I was so happy to find a place with awesome coffee. I was even more impressed with the local source of their beans. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I was even able to buy a pound of coffee to take home. It has become my downtown place to stop for my caffeine fix!

I found the staff disconnected and not very attentive. As for the coffee itself, my cortado had way to much foam and the flavor was very burnt. That has more to do with the roasting company they use than with the staff themselves. If you are not a fan of counter culture coffee I would seer clear.
