The Key Lime pie was phenomenal. Silky with a crisp crust, and great lime flavor. I also had a slice of the Coconut Chess pie which was a sugar delight. Definitely stop by for dessert or get there early for savory pies, which were pretty much sold out when I arrived( 12:30pm). This is a must stop of in the area.

Run, dont walk to get to Firkin Pie before they sell out of the best pies on the planet! Savory or sweet, every pie is a slice of heaven. Jane says the secret to their amazing crust is butter, but it must be some kind of magically enchanted butter, because i could eat just the crust and be happy. Anywhere else my crusts remain on the plate - theyre too dry, too browned, too soggy etc. Her crust is magically delicious. Seriously, if you havent been, get going! If calories werent a thing I would have some every. single. day. Sausage rolls? Beef pie? Thanksgiving pie? Chocolate pie? Yes, yes, yes, yes! My dream job is being a Firkin Pie taste tester.

Absolutely delicious. Had Peanut Butter pie for dessert and a meat pie for lunch, specifically a buffalo chicken meat pie. Wonderful. My wife and I are putting this on our must stop when passing through the area.

Absolutely amazing! They were super friendly and the pies are outstanding! The smores pie was incredible and the apple was a winner with my wife even though she doesnt enjoy apple pie that much! Hope to visit them again the next time in VA

Tried for the 1st time yesterday and it was awesome! We got a caprese pie, The kale potato pie and the New Zealand beef and cheddar pie which was my favorite! Also The desserts were on point! Lemon zinger yum! 24 karat to die for. Nectarine custard divine. And my favorite the vanilla cream so velvety. I would highly recommend this place. PS I would have pictures but we could stop eating it.

Got the New Zealand Beef and Cheddar....AMAZING. The crust is literally perfect. Flavor and quality phenomenal. I really could go on and on how great this was. My whole ride home to Afton, all I could think was Dang I wish I had another! Will absolutely go back. Thank you for the experience.

The absolute best pie I had in the entire USA! I drove across the country and had pie every city and small town I went to for 14 days straight and this spot took #1!! Thin, smooth crust that you only get with homemade pie and incredible filling. I cant wait to come back. I regret not taking a photo. It was all gone before I could blink.

Jane and her folks recently provided a wide variety of items for some wedding events we had this month: quiche, hand pies, pot pies, and dessert pies, too. Every single thing we ordered was delicious. Our guests couldnt stop raving about her crusts, and the flavors in each dish were perfect. Coconut cream pie: divine. Chocolate silk pie: so rich and delicious. Beef cottage pie: scrumptious. Sweet potato/sausage quiche: good hot or cold. Seriously: eat here and you wont be disappointed! Thanks, Jane!

If there was a line, stretching out for miles, just to eat the crust Firkin Pie makes, I would gladly go through it several times. The pies made here are simply the best pies I have ever eaten. Meat pies, Thanksgiving dinner pies, chocolate, apple, it doesnt matter. Its all delicious. Everyone there is just so nice and personable, every visit makes you glad you came. Great people and delicious pies are a winning combination and I am so glad they are local!

I just LOVE these pies! If youre like me, 90% of the reason to eat pie is for the crust and Firkins crust is the best I have ever eaten. It is impossibly crisp, flakey and buttery. Yum!

Delicious breakfast quiche! My husband found this place on Google so we stopped in to grab breakfast not really knowing what to expect, but this place was close to our hotel. I was disappointed at first bc I thought we were going to a pancakes and eggs type of place. However, I was pleasantly surprised! We had some very delicious quiche, a sausage roll, and a homemade poptart. Everything was delicious! Even my 2 year old daughter ate an entire slice of the Bacon, Onion, and Blue cheese quiche. The girl working was very nice and extremely accommodating and even brought my daughter some paper and crayons and helped her get started coloring while we were settling in. Very lovely and cozy little shop. I would definitely recommend! Its too bad we live out of state. But we will definitely stop again if we are in the area.

The most incredible sweet & savory pies on this planet! The crust is just amazing and the fillings are delicious! Somehow the pastries are baked perfectly everytime and never soggy even with filings. There is a true art to baking & Firkin Pie has mastered it!

So, I havent actually eaten here yet. I found this place on the find me GF app and it listed that they have Gluten Free options. I stopped by when we were downtown the day before they were going on vacation (bad timing for me!). They didnt have any GF options at the time. I was told that the owner sometimes makes a pie. Call ahead if looking for Gluten Free.

Delicious!! My friends and I split lemon ginger, coconut cream and PB & J pies and they were all wonderful. The owner is friendly, helpful and amazing. I would highly recommend a visit and then, another and another:) She also sells savory pies such as quiche and handpies, but I havent had a chance to try those YET.
