The service was good, but they could have done a better job fixing minor things on the vehicle first. There was no back passenger rotor, brakes all around was needed. There were other necessary maintenance needed also, I. e head light bulb and brake light bulb on driver side needed reading. (Safety issue). There was no actual bulb in the brake light on driver side. Makes me question the unknowns. I guess well find out. Yes this is an as is cash car, but at least fix the safety issues.

Seth was a World Class Advisor. Along with the technician, they spent a large amount of time to trace down my issue and repair quickly. Thanks for everything.

Went in just to get air in the tires when the serviceman discovered a nail in one of the tires. Unfortunately, the nail hit the side of the tire and could not be patched. Well worth the drive from Charlotte! I had an awesome buying experience working with Mike Kemp and Scott Johnson. Mike is the sales person and he sent me the out the door price before I made the drive to the dealership. No games at all. The price didnt change. They offered me $1,000 off if I financed the Atlas with VW Financial. The rate was good for a bank. They gave me a fair trade for my RAV4. I had been to three other VW dealerships and their trade-in price was the best. Scott Johnson spent over an hour answering all my questions and setting up my Atlas.Even after I bought the Atlas, I have received excellent customer service from Mike Kemp. He has followed up promptly.Lastly, the parts department was closed on Saturday. I wanted to buy a VW trunk mat and the dealership drove it to charlotte for me without charging a delivery fee! The driver called me ahead of time to make sure someone was home. The price of the floor mat was great too.I am very impressed by Vic Bailey VW.

Absolutely disappointed of our purchase. We’ve bought Volkswagen Atlas 2018 . The car started to make problems after one month of use. It makes noise and jerks like a young horse. We have bumper to bumper coverage but agents said that the car is normal and noise is normal and jerking is normal . The worst car I ever had!

What happened, I spent a lot of funds and actually got wowed really good service.

Our experience started with a email from the Dealer wanting to purchase our vehicle. We followed up with details of our vehicle and was made a offer to purchase upon seeing the vehicle. My wife then the same evening dropped by the dealership to show them the vehicle. They scanned the vin looked it over took pictures etc. She returned home and the Dealer contacted me by text with an offer. We accepted the offer and was instructed to bring the vehicle back the next day. I took the day off from work to remove a few customized items from the vehicle as agreed upon. I was during the day asking what time we would be bringing the vehicle by for them to purchase. We took it to them at around 6:00 pm and started the paperwork to sell. After filling out paperwork, getting payoff etc. the Used Car Manager came out with a very disrespectful tone and said they would not be purchasing the vehicle, that it was not what he wanted because in his words he was going to buy it. He stated that we misrepresented the car which only has 1500 miles on it and remember they looked at the day before. Then the Sales Manager came out and stated it was not the same vehicle they agreed to buy. Remember yet again they looked at it, scanned the vin, took pictures etc. As you could expect were not pleased. A complete day of vacation wasted, time from my family for a dealership to not hold up there end of a deal. I used a contact to get the General Manger to contact me and he did the next morning. We got the same run around from him, otherwise he was taking sides with his employees. I have every conversation by email, text etc. and will supply to anyone that wants to see how this dealership treats people. My family has purchased over 20 vehicles over the last 20 years from one or the other Vic Bailey Dealerships but we will never deal with them again. In closing if you do not want to get treated bad, lose money and your valuable time stay far away from any of the Vic Bailey Dealerships.

Every interaction from the first call about the car to sitting in the car getting an overview of how everything works before driving off the lot was wonderful. Our only complaint is that we wish they were local in Columbia. The experience was worth the drive, though!

Overall very happy with the sales and delivery experience of my Jetta. The staff did an excellent job of communications and quick delivery of the vehicle. Only downside is that a spare tire does not come with the vehicle. Been buying cars for 30+ years, thats the first time Ive ever heard of paying extra for a spare tire. Potential buyers should be aware of that.

Girlfriend and I are down in Tampa and had a bad experience while buying a new car from a dealer here locally. Told her I would take care of it for her so I started looking at other options. Decided to look into shipping the car that we wanted and Will with Vic Bailey was able to make that happen at a fair price. Did pretty much everything over email and he was responsive and clear with exactly what price wed get and sent great videos/pictures of the car. Didnt get the run around or anything which was great after having a bad experience with the local dealer. Purchased a used 2006 Ford last week.The sales staff, and service team where great to work with.The price and overall value of the vehicle was a true bargain.The entire process from start to finish was a very enjoyable experience.I enjoyed making new friends with Danny, and all the others at Team Vic.

I have been using Vic Bailey for all my cars service for years. Alex has always been a great advisor, and I appreciate all his help. However, on my last trip, he was gone, and I had another advisor I wont name. I had taken the car in for a routine oil change, and when I was called to the counter to settle the bill, this man handed me 2 pages of needed repairs. Some were legitimate, some were not. I told him I couldnt afford all the work, but Id chip away at over the next several visits. He was annoyed but did the couple things I okayed. This was at the close of day on a Friday. 30 seconds after I pulled out of the dealership my car started choking like it was about to run out of fuel, and the check engine light came on. There was a burning smell, and my mpg did nothing but drop all the way home. I avg 45-48 mpg in this car all day every day. The next 2 days were the same thing. So Monday as soon as I got off work I took the car back (check engine light still on) and ask them to look at it. The advisor I had on Friday comes and tells me the check engine light hasnt been on in over a month, but they can see what the problem is, but the part alone is over $1,000. He told me if I could come back when the check engine light is on, the whole thing will be covered under the emissions warranty. Over the next couple weeks, the check engine light never comes back on, the car starts running even worse, with a bigger loss in mpg, the car randomly shutting off, and the burning smell growing stronger. Just out of curiosity, I took the car by OReillys and asked them to check for codes. The manager told me that my check engine light had been disabled! I couldnt believe it, so I took the car a mile down the road to AutoZone and they told me the exact SAME THING. I have never taken my car to anyone besides Vic Bailey so I know whatever was done, was done there. I never had any issues with the car before this. Trying to run up the bill is one thing, but if I could prove who tampered with my check engine light, I would press charges. Ill never bring my vehicles here again.

From the moment I called, I was greeted with someone who cared about my interests in purchasing my vehicle. Follow ups actually occurred, and follow up questions to additional questions actually did as well! What a relief to find a professional group of people who show their interest in business with their actions. Michael was my salesman and he was very responsive and made me feel welcomed when I arrived. Kimberly was also great, the service manager (Nick I believe) was also helpful and was responsive over my concerns. No fuss there at all. Overall, this dealership is not only very nice aesthetically, but made me feel like visiting because of the GREAT service over the phone and via text. The sales experiences was also relaxed and simple. My only feedback to improve would be to shorten the “add-on” meeting with the extended warranty and care packages and not make it mandatory. Thank you guys for taking care of me. I will be back!

I worked with Seth in the Service department. He was always polite & straightforward with me. Dropping off the car & picking it up was simple and easy. I brought my car (2015 GTI) to two other shops (one of which being a competing dealership), and the people at Vic Bailey’s were the ones who actually solved the problem and did everything I asked them to do without any hassle. It took them two days to find and resolve the issue whereas it spent days and even weeks at the other shops. I still prefer private shops over dealerships, but if the issue is of a certain variety (i.e. programming ECUs) which requires that you go to a dealership, this is the one to go to. The shop foreman worked on my car, and the rapid pace at which he worked to resolve the issue was astonishing compared to the competing dealership. In summary: the people are great, easy to work with, and know what they’re doing. If I need any dealership work done in the future, I will certainly be going back to Vic Baileys.
