Dr. Thompson is fantastic! My son had a serious eye infection, and Dr. Thompson and his entire staff are excellent. They took their time and explained everything. Great opthamologist!

I have seen Dr Thompson a few times over the years. I live and work on the road, so I have used a Variety of eye doctors. A few years back I was unable to get a good correction with contacts but Dr. Thompson was able to figure out the issue and get it corrected immediately. I’ve been unable to get a proper correction for computer distance reading for several years. I stopped in Kansas City to visit family and made an appointment with Dr. Thompson, and again he nailed it! For the first time in several years I can read my computer. Thank you Dr. Thompson for all you do!

I really enjoy going here. For both my contacts and glasses. Dr. Laura is excellent! Very knowledgeable and personable; takes time to answer any questions. The office staff has always been friendly and helpful. Ive even been in a few times to have my glasses adjusted or repaired and they always make the time to help me with no issues. Glad I found them, 100% would recommend!

My wife went there three weeks ago for regular check up and she’s not happy at all, she got the prescription and couldn’t use her glasses because she feels dizzy and blurry when using her new glasses. She went back to corrected but they just look at the glasses telling it needs to adjusted, now her glasses was adjusted but still the same, she spend a lot of money, time and gas because we live in Gardner. Never to come back and never to recommend this clinic at all

Would not recommend. Have been trying to get a copy of my bill from surgery done in March and its now July. Was told the girl quit who does billing. Months later and its not available? I felt like leftovers during my time there.

I have been under Dr Thompsons care for over one year regarding critical eye issues. I find him to be professional, very thorough, as well as very kind. Dr Thompson truly cares about your wellness. I had an eye injury this past weekend and Dr Thompson delayed his trip out of town in order to see me in his office. His thorough treatment concluded that while my damage was scary, I should retain full vision and use of my eye. I was greatly relieved thanks to Dr Thompson.

My kids had a flawless experience there! Super quick/easy/patient people, especially since I brought all 4 kids. My daughter ended up needing prescription glasses for slight nearsightedness— they arrived in less than a week. And they helped shape and fit the glasses, all while talking to my children like they matter, instead of like an inconvenience. Thank you! We’ll be back each year!

Dr. Blacklock performed cataract surgery on both my eyes and my surgery was successful. She is professional, caring, and has really helped me with my eye problems. Her office staff is great. Ive been with her for over a year and have only had positive experiences. Thankyou Dr. Blacklock :).

I bring my 97 year old mom. they are very accommodating to her, answer her questions and address her concerns.

Dr. Thompson is an excellent doctor and a very nice person. Plan on a longish visit because Dr. Thompson is very thorough with his exam. He patiently answers and explains any questions you may have. Dr. Thompson is a graduate of Johns Hopkins so you can be sure your eyes are well taken care when you visit him.

One of the receptionists is amazing. She was willing to help when others were unable or didnt show up.The lady that adjusts the glasses came in an hour late. It took her 4 minutes to do the full adjustment.Come to find out, no one warned us that the glasses they offered would no be able to be adjusted to fit my son. The same lady that did this also told me they would be done in 2 weeks. I called 3 weeks later asking. She was quite cut and rudely told me due to the insurance change, it would be a month. I was never told about this. I would have taken him somewhere else.The manager was nice, but she just told me they would be getting a new adjustment lady.Worst experience at an eye doctor. Dont waste your time

I thought the procedure was thorough however the doctor was short with me and seemed irritated by my responses to his questions, I have dry eyes and it was difficult to see the letters in the eye exam I felt that he could have been more compassionate. The other staff members were much more friendly however I will not be going back there again.

Friendly staff who always have an eye out to make sure that you receive the best care. The Doctors are very thorough and certainly crosses all the ts and dots all the is, I am always very happy with the service as they are very accommodating.

You have too wait two weeks to get your glasses. Even if they arrive in a few days they sit in their office for two weeks. Apparently the receptionist is trained to tell you it will be two weeks but not trained to actually check to see if they have come in or ask anyone if they have come in. And the sales people are trained to sell you glasses but are not trained to actually call or follow up to see that you get your glasses. My glasses sat in their office from the 22nd to the 30th 7 days. During my last call I requested three times for the receptionist to call or check on an ETA. It took three times because she just went on and on about waiting two weeks. 10 minutes later I was called back and my glasses were magically there. I went to the office...walked in... and there was no receptionist...no one. I waited a few minutes and then walked all the way through their office all the way back to their break area and the receptionist was sitting back there. Apparently on a break. She told me she would be with me in a minute. I waiteid another 5 minutes, i could of probably dug through cabinets and desks to find my glasses. Honestly I almost did. Finally a person came in and helped me. No apology, no concern that i had been left alone in their office with product, computers, machines, no help nothing. I think probably 15 minutes after i was being helped their receptionist finally came out saw i was being helped and went back to the back. Truly go anywhere else. Arrogant and not appreciative of their customers.
