Came here with my father who is very picky with his coffee and wanted a flat white which they did not have. They tried to make him something similar which he enjoyed, but what was truly remarkable was the barista came out after my father finished his first coffee and gave him a latte in the classic way that they usually make it. It was so kind of her to go out of her way to make an extra coffee and ensure that my father was happy!! Both drinks were delicious and made by someone who loves what they do. Such a lovely experience.

Great ambiance! I stopped in here with a friend and we sat on the patio after ordering. It was relaxing (you would never know youre sitting next to the street of western). Definitely a place I will bring my friends that enjoy unique drinks (aka the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie).

Please remember to wear a mask when ordering or approaching the baristas!Great place to sit and read/study. Usually if people want to talk loud they stay on the outside patio. I love that there is this unspoken rule like a library, if you talk inside it is preferred that you do so quietly out if respect for others. Anything hot with espresso tastes amazing; Gibraltar is my favorite. The matcha drinks are more on the milky side; I didnt taste much matcha or lavender, mostly milk.

My first visit to Zoka was awesome. The service was quick and polite and my order was accurate. My raspberry laté with light icing was perfect. The bathroom was well stocked and was tidy. Lots of seating inside, as well as a few seats outside. This would be a new favorite place of mine if I lived nearby!

Such a cozy place to study or spend time with friends. Very quite, I was able to finally focus and read few chapters of the book that Im reading now.

As a frequent customer who LOVES their coffee I feel the need to rate only 3 stars given a worker who seems dead set on YELLING ABOUT THE MASK POLICY whenever she sees someone in the cafe who is not actively drinking or eating - there was a guy seated at a table who was working on his laptop wasnt wearing his mask properly. It was OBVIOUS to anyone who looked at him that he had earphones in and was talking to someone yet she insisted on YELLING REPEATEDLY AT THE ENTIRE CAFE rather than approaching him directly and speaking to him 1-on-1.If someone isnt obeying and they have earphones/ear buds/headphones on there is a VERY GOOD CHANCE THEY CANNOT HEAR YOU, EVEN IF YOU YELL. Please re-train this person so that being in the wonderful cafe space is not as jarring as it has been when she works.

My first trip to Zoka was fantastic. The service was fast and friendly, and my order was accurate. My light-iced vanilla laté was delicious. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. Lots of indoor seating and a few chairs outside as well. If I lived near by, this would be a new favorite spot of mine!

I rated this a two purely for the coffee and food experience. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was a great place to read. The coffee which I tried two was so bitter and over extracted. I had black coffee and the Aztec latte. The latte had a chalky chocolate layer on the top which was sad because the initial flavor wasn’t terrible.

How can we not love this place? Sustainable coffee, bagels, free wifi, friendly staff and did I mention the COOKIES? Yum!

We had a great time at this coffee shop for breakfast! The banana slices, new berries, and pecans on raisin French toasts were delicious! We also enjoyed the atmosphere at this traditional American Diner, which reminded us of a 1960s movie. Since we were there, the friendly waitress offered us a popular cinnamon roll to try.

Went into the cafe today and it was absolutely lovely inside. I respect their mask policy, but made the mistake of forgetting to put my mask back on when I walked over to grab a new straw. The woman behind the counter YELLED at me to put my mask on when walking around......which made me jump out of my skin....there was definitely many other ways that the situation could have been approached, and afterwards I was being watched like a hawk by the worker behind the counter. Was also not greeted warmly as other customers I noticed were, will not be coming back........ever.

Such a great working spot with plenty of seating and outlets, even on the weekend! There is quiet music playing however.Good coffee selection and baked goods, plus easy access to Mighty-O donuts and MKT sandwiches right across the street!

All the usuals are on the menu, plus a few new twists that keep you coming back for more. The pastries are boutique and look tasty.Youll always find some hipster here typing their latest blog post, but thats not a bad thing. Comfy chairs and outdoor seating are also here.

I come here often to sit and work with a cuppa! Great coffee, nice selection of pastries, and calm atmosphere with lots if seating. The Yellow Milk Latte is great, its made with turmeric. They have a few savory items, but if youre looking for lunch this isnt the place.

Easy access to car, 62 bus, or biking near the Greenlake area. Spacious inside with a good working/hangout ambience. My friend and I both enjoyed our latte there, straightforward no extra needed.

Zoka in Tangletown is the original Zoka. Friendly baristas and good seating. During Covid theyve been maintaining carryout. Pastry delivery is around 7-7:30 a.m. so come after that if youre looking for a nosh.

Best coffee in Green Lake.

The atmosphere and vibe in this coffee shop are very relaxing. The barista is really masterful as he managed to provide me an amazing latte art. Love the coffee and customer service. PLEASE post your HOURS. Google listing doesnt have the proper hours. Your website doesnt have proper hours. Even drove 15 minutes to your cafe thats supposed to be open until 9pm, its closed, and there are no hours listed anywhere on the windows. Theres no call answering system that specifies the hours either.Lol come on!

This has become one of my go to coffee shops to focus and work. I don’t think I have spent many productive hours at other coffee shops.

What an incredible Colombian pour over! The best Ive had! Staff is friendly. They have a pretty big space. But it gets very crowded! Its also really quiet, feels like youre in a library. Ill be going back soon to try some of their other coffees.

The coffee is some of the best in Seattle and thats saying something, more importantly though the staff is friendly and welcoming and theyre keeping a safe clean coffee shop during this crisis and that makes a crazy world just a little easier to handle.

This place is ideal for working remotely or studying. Lots of single/double tables, outlets for laptops all over. Cozy atmosphere but lots of big windows and natural light. Stays pretty quiet too and the coffee is delicious.

I love this place. It has great coffee and pastries and its wonderful for studying or working. Its filled with big and small tables perfect for long days at the coffee shop. The only down side is that outlets are at a premium, so this may not be the best spot if youre needing to have your laptop plugged in all day. Other than that this is my go to coffee shop for studying!

Im no coffee connoisseur, but the Tangletown roast tasted good to me. This is a great place to read, study, or work on your laptop. Always seems to be quiet, even when its crowded.

Needed a coffee shop to pass the time before an appointment. This place was perfect. There is outdoor seating facing the sun, making a perfect place for a nap after your beverage.The inside has lots of open windows and dark wood making it cozy. Nice and open with lots of seating with tables. There were a lot of people there working. Not a noisy crowd.They have the coolest looking cold brew system I have ever seen. They sell their roasts and other coffee merchandise. The staff was very nice, and bonus the coffee tasted great! They sold premade sandwiches and other bakery items.I will be back.

Zoka is a great spot. High wooden ceilings, low lighting, and chill music. The barista was super cool, and made sure everyone was comfortable. Will definitely be back.

Love this place! Its family owned and has products thats are sustainably made/aquired. Cozy atmosphere and lots of chairs. Service was quick and barista was friendly. Bathrooms are clean and they have good quality toilet paper. Milk substitutes are expansive though - an additional 75 cents!

Coffee is pretty good. My drinks have been messed up more often than Id expect for just ordering nondairy. Snacks are pretty good. Nice if youre in the neighborhood but otherwise not worth the trip

Honestly this is usually one of the best places to meet and work in Seattle. However, reverently some barista(s) have decided that death metal is good background music for a coffee shop... I’ve never seen the place clear out so quickly. Please, please put a policy in place to keep the music to something chill. Nothing against death metal as a genre, it just really soured the mood.

One of the nicest coffee shop atmospheres Ive found so far. Definitely cozy. Lots of people bring board games on the weekend and spread them out on the large tables they have available. Somewhat niche coffee and tea options differentiate them from other places as well.

Zoka is a different coffee shop in a sea of the nondescript coffee shops in Seattle. You are going to get real coffee here. They hand select their blends and you can taste the difference. From their drip to all the others available you can tell they are at a different level. Good full bodied coffee across the board. Great place to meet or get some work done.

Zoka is the best! I travel to Seattle often for work and I just love this place. They make the smoothest espresso drinks I’ve ever had and it has great ambiance for hanging out and working on your laptop or catching up with friends, not to mention there are always cute doggies outside to visit with and pet.

I think the best thing about the menu are the great flavors of chai that they offer. Personally, the lavender chai was my favorite but you cannot go wrong with any of the others. As for coffee, I usually judge a place on their lattes and this place makes the cut. Also enjoyed the ham croissant that was perfectly toasted and as flaky as a croissant should be. Beware of the heavy foot traffic this place may receive. I came in after a gang of people had a Saturday morning run of some sort.

The place is lovely probably good for a read.I ordered Aztec Coffee and Cappuccino. Aztec Coffee was no better than Hot chocolate.. atleast for the priceI will drop by this place only if I have no choice which isnt the case lol

I mean, I went there once. Seemed like a nice place. If Id gone there twice, that would probably be enough to give it 5 stars, but I just didnt have that large of a sample size. Also, if they had made the effort to come to me at least once, that would probably be 5 stars. They dont have to even actually come over to my studio apartment, but the offer would be nice.

I had great hope for Zoka to be my go-to neighborhood coffee house. And to be fair, the bones of this place has it all. They have great coffee, a good diversity of roasts, pastries, etc. I love the wood paneled sitting area. However, the trouble I have is somewhere between crowd and acoustics. Somehow, Zoka is always packed and yet quieter than a library. Its full of serious grad students working on their theses. The tables are too close together so I feel like I am reading someone elses book and if I have a conversation, I feel like I am disturbing others.They must be doing something right to be so packed, but somehow it always feels suffocatingly crowded to me.

I like to come to this cafe to study and the customer service is always great. Ashley is outstanding! I like how she is warm and welcoming. She goes extra mile to make my tea special and delicious. Thank you Ashley.

Zoka is one of my favorite coffee shops in Seattle. Every locations from Seattle to Kirkland will never disappoint either quality coffee and plenty of options to choose from. They are always up to date with the latest trend of coffee and they have amazing modern shops.

Bland. Slow service. Undistinguishable from the rest. The Aztec mocha had no taste chocolate or spiciness. There was no taste or aroma of lavender in the lavender mocha, I really think that gave me a latte. The pastry I had was hardened, old and not as tasty as other local options

Ive been coming here almost daily for >5 years. Its like cheers in Seattle. Great staff, great coffee. Neighborhood standard with a consistent set of regulars and personalities.Also a great place to hunker down and work with your laptop.

Great place, good coffee & food. Only thing that frustrated me was I asked the barista what was in the morning glory chai. He said, I dont know - its just sweet & spicy. He never did tell me ingredients. The M.G. chai was good but could have been a problem if I was a person with food/spice sensitivities.

This place is such a good work spot, I love posting up here with a cappuccino. Best coffee in the area for sure with tons of seating and outlets. Big airy space with a lotta windows too so you really feel like you can breath. People generally stay pretty quiet during the day too so you can really put a lotta work in. The girl at the counter who took my order didnt know how to properly charge giftcards and ended up not only taking the $15 left on my card for a $10 order but then insisting I still owed $10 afterwards. Please teach your employees how to use the cash register software.

We were staying right around the corner from this place while on vacation. They gave us a great recommendation for a roast to have with the pour over in our appartment. We went to this place a few times during the week for a daytime coffee and ended up with a few bags to bring home.
