Hip, spacious, fun cafe! Upon entering, I was quite surprised by how large and diverse the space is. The cafe has its section where they serve a curated menu of beverages and baked goods. They had a variety of famous La Marzocco espresso machines on display and it was neat to see the different models. There are seats spread throughout the space from more traditional cafe seats and tables to more comfy, relaxing chairs. The space is shared with a local radio station so it gives a good vibe to come and hang out. I ordered a Heres Johnny, Hot Chocolate, and Chocolate Chip Cookie. I had low expectations for the Heres Johnny drink, but I like to try new things, so I gave it a shot and it was surprisingly good. The Hot Chocolate was OK.. not very sweet. The cookie was decent, not too much to say. The prices were a bit high.. about $2-$3 higher than other cafes.. the ambience was much nicer though so I suppose that helps, but the prices were noticeable. Overall, I recommend coming here. Ill definitely be back!
I had been there multiple times and my experience had always been good. Great ambiance, great coffee, spacious interior. They even have a DJ station there! Really hope that it will reopen soon as I miss this place soooooo much!!
Huge open space to grab some coffee and check out some of the La Marzocco legacy. Theres a space for checking out their home espresso machines, as well as some cool coffee gadgets you can buy.The coffee is very good, and they rotate between their partner roasters so you can taste different beans with every visit! The food selection is a bit underwhelming, serving only a small selection of pastries.I would recommend this place for coffee and looking at some cool espresso machines, but I would say skip it if youre in the mood for breakfast.
I loved visiting La Marzocco in Seattle! If you love coffee, definitely check it out! They featuring the best coffee from shops around the country, and we went they were featuring and serving coffee from Elixr Roasters in Philly. They also have merchandise for sale and showcase their Espresso machines and equipment. Great coffee and great atmosphere
Great place to chill and hangout with your friends and family! It is also huge inside!! You can also seat comfortably with their leather sofa and high back chase!! There is also a gallery towards the back, where you will view up and coming local artist! Concerts are played here so make sure to check their schedules. They are located right in the heart of Seattle City Center, right next to the fountain. They have three clear glass garage door, overlooking the courtyard and on a nice day, it will let the air in, and you will have the feeling of nature from the inside. This is also a very famous radio station KEXP, and they broadcast some of the finest music with eclectic genre. Both my espresso and cappuccino were fantastic, and all their staff were very kind.Cheers!
If you only have time for one coffee shop in Seattle, it doesn’t get much better than this. I am blown away every time by these guys. Each time I’ve been, there’s a good sized line, but I always have my coffee less than 5 minutes after ordering. But it’s also obvious that these pros don’t sacrifice quality for speed: I’ve always gotten a quality cup and friendly service here. They share a space with a small record shop, and KEXP (a local radio station). Occasionally, there are recorded live music sessions in the main space, but I haven’t seen one there yet myself. There’s an assortment of espresso machines sold here that are great for use at home, and they rotate their coffee roaster regularly, so you can even expect roasts from companies around the world!
Favorite coffee shop in Seattle. Came here twice during my visit to the PNW. Super chill (hipster) vibe, extremely spacious, nice natural lighting, lots of different kinds of seating available, in-house radio station, and great coffee for all types of coffee drinkers out there- from the basic latte drinker to the more adventurous acid phosphate consumer (yes, they have an espresso drink that uses acid phosphate!).
One of my favorite cafes to check out while I’m in the PNW. If you’re a coffee geek, this is your place! They rotate roasters, so the coffee is always changing, which is always exciting. They also have some of their machines on display, and demo. Great merch as well! Not only is there the coffee, but it’s inside a live radio station, and they also have a small record shop inside. Pro tip, go out the back door for an amazing view of the space needle through the trees.
It’s the best place to chill in Seattle. KEXP with caffeine. . . this is so good. The cushy chairs with small tables for two is a blend of European and modern cafe. Great atmosphere and centrally located in a great neighborhood. If you want to know about Marzocco this is the place to visit. KEXP is sharing the space—Awesome!! In house concert on a weekly basis.
A must see if you are into coffee culture. The space has a la marzocco showroom, a coffee bar, live music, and interesting art and photography on the walls. You can test out the espresso machines before you buy one.
Very good coffee and atmosphere! I had a draft latte, It’s silky and thick texture. The best!
I love the big, open shared space with kexp and light in the attic records. and the monthly rotating roasters keep me coming back to try new things. it’s a favorite stop while at seattle center, especially with out of town visitors.
Loved Latte here. Good place to relax, drink coffee and work on a weekend 😊
The La Marzocco cafe is the perfect blend between Seattle cafe and musical chill spot. The KEXP radio share space and progressive decore never disappoints.
Stylish vibe. Amazing coffee. Great music DJing.
Might be biased as in la Marzocco snob:An amazing coffee place with cool and hipsterish vibe, and great music. Keen observer will notice they swap their coffee machines periodically.Dont bother with the cakes
I was tempted to leave a bad review to keep this place secret! Incredible cafe. Bright, open coffee shop with a great team and near perfect coffee. The environment is alive, playing KEXP radio live from the station connected to the shop, with a clear view of the host from the cafe floor. Great spot.
Great coffee and pastries to start your day.
Chill space, chill music, chill record store, chill people seated about the place, self service chilled still and sparkling water. Coffee is quite good. Altogether chill experience.
Huge space, great serious coffee with a disco ball attached to a radio station.
La Marzocco has extremely knowledgeable staff. They make coffee from different rosters each month and were serving Panther Coffee when I visited. Awesome experience!
Delicious coffee, beautiful views, and great music. Fun to be here on Intl Womens Day.
Cool coffee shop inside of KEXPs space. As expected, the espresso was excellently made. They also have free shows in the space regularly. Highly recommend.
This is my favorite coffee spot to treat myself at! It’s pricier than most others that I’ve been to, but I dare to say that it’s worth it. Pre-pandemic, it was great getting to go inside and experience the atmosphere. Now that it’s walk-up, you may miss the vibe, but you’ll get the same great drinks that you always have. I love their rotational/seasonal coffee menu because it always provides an opportunity to try a new roast or tea. If you’re visiting the city, I’d definitely stop by for your “Seattle coffee shop” experience.
This place is awesome. Roomy with plenty of tables, sofas, tables, and great music from KEXP playing in the background. Just an all round great vibe.
My favorite coffee shop in the area - nice place for coffee and lounging with a laptop.Their affogatos and mocas are really good when theyre on the menu of the month. They change the menu every month. Its nice to try new things, but it would be nice to have a fixed menu for some of the more successful meals and drinks
The best coffee! Love it!
Music, sips, bites, Mmmm...Cortado with homemade coconut milk, macaroon, affogato, and great tunes from KEXP. What more can I say?! Great vibes, open air, friendly staff... yes, please!!
Really enjoyed the setting of this place. Had a blueberry muffin and a draft cold brew with milk and it was much better and filling than I expected.
Top-notch coffee shop here in our region! I was so amazed when I first visited here a year ago. I have been your regular customer since on that day. I love ordering their Burnt Almond Cake and Cafe Americano because the taste was so delectable. The interior of the coffee shop was so classy and cozy. Keep it up! Very strongly recommended!
Absolutely must try.. I tried one of the cold brews coffee with haw, it was just amazing! And its a huge place where you can work and spend hours sipping your coffee.
La Marzocco Cafe was an excellent experience. The coffee was extremely good and the lounge area has great music as it is KEXPs radio studio! The baristas are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly!
Interesting and spacious place. Coffee vendor changes each month. Not always a hit, but makes for a more interesting experience. Its also cool to see espresso machines that cost more than a car.
Awesome place! Coffee was good but not mind blowing. Definitely a great place to kick back and relax.
Wonderful place for meetings and awesome coffee!
This is definitely one of my favorite coffee places in Seattle. I had a fantastic latte enjoying a lovely space full of contemporary exhibitions and cool vibes.
Concept café. Coffee menu as well as interior changed based on the featured roaster or grower. Brew and extraction techniques for featured roasts is limited and dictated by the featured company and carried out by the local staff. Tastings and topic discussions usually Fridays at 10am. Staff knows every detail about the coffee they are brewing. Ask and they will inform you.
Such a fun space! And the coffee...delicious!
Cortado was exceptional. Hard to beat the atmosphere if youre a music fan.
I feel at home here. Cool open space. KEXP playing. Great coffee. Great tours. Feels like a community here.
Great spot to grab a cup of coffee, have a meeting, catch a live show and/or browse some records.
Very unique, original feel. Great music!
Food was so appetizing. Ill return family next time. It has a cool feel to it.
This is a really cute little coffee shop near Golden Gate Park. Definitely a spot to hit before walking around there. Lots of cute dogs hang out in this area as well :)
The donuts are from Mighty-O but the mocha was all La Marzocco. Love the gathering space at KEXP.
Monthly rotating rosters for a new coffee experience every couple weeks. The staff are wonderful and knowledgeable and friendly.
10/10 coffee nerd satisfaction ☕️
La Marzocco Cafe is an awesome coffee space! the fact that it is parked in the lobby of the KEXP studios makes it even more cool! I love listening to KEXP from the overhead speakers and seeing the KEXP DJs live in the booth! takes me back to my college radio DJ day! aww the memories! The space is very open with a variety of seating options from small tables to comfy couches to community table seating. they have a small selection of select coffees you can choose to have your choice of caffeine crafted from. They do supply power outlets (chunky red square looking things) for us laptop warriors to plug into. I also like the little vinyl record store (Light in the Attic Records and Distribution) sort of parked in the corner. have not chowed down on any of the food items yet but it looks like they are using products of London Pane down in Pioneer Square. great place to come for coffee and KEXP!
Great place to work and chill
Best cafe ever xx
Outstanding experience, love that they have different roasters every month, a must try for everyone who wants to try something new.
Good coffee and cool vibes. Its a great space to hang out and watch the live DJs for KEXP while drinking coffee.
Staff is always timely even when they have a full house. There was quick and friendly service. Bring your appetite because portions are large.
Great coffee! Ordered latte here!
Great espresso in a hip and open space. Go for their alternative *fancy* late but beware, limited baked goods and they wont warm your croissant. Check out their many espresso machines or their thorough record collection. Meet a friend to chat or stop by before seeing a show.
Genuinely my favorite cafe for espresso aside from Vivace. They have a rotating espresso menu and proper beans and baristas to provide genuinely delicious shots. I used to come here weekly with my nana before the virus hit and was able to build solid relationships with staff. Can’t wait to return to indoor seating but for now the takeout will be just fine. Keep it up Marzocco!
Such a nice atmosphere. Great coffee.
Nice pour-over single origin coffee, lovely music, beautiful design of the whole shop.
Excellent latte and beautiful space. Walked by many times and didnt realize this was more than just the radio studio. Love it!
A great open space with a live airing radio station in it.Coffee is fantastic!! I had the batch brew.
Perhaps the best place to have coffee in Seattle. Enjoy the view of KEXP radio studio
Quality espresso! Excellent place! Very interesting concept! I’ve been there for vacations and almost every day I tasted an espresso! It’s one of the best coffee company I visited! Helpful staff with perfect knowledge on coffee!
I always order americano coffee and I really like their americano!
No dine in, but they offer some of the best cappuccino Ive had anywhere.
Best coffee house in town. The rotating residencies always make for a unique cup of joe.
A very vibey cafe shop, there is a radio station in the same room which makes it an even more enjoyable atmosphere. Open concept with a lot of natural lighting and couches. Lots of room to sit and their coffee is spectacular!
This place is like a museum. Each month, a new roaster takes residence. The space plays good music.
This was a wonderful space! I love the record shop in the middle of it all. All the seating there made it a great place to have a conversation, meet new people (which I did), or even get some work done if you need to! I love the rotation of coffee that they bring in from around the country. Definitely will return when back in Seattle.
I couldnt be more impressed! I manage a couple coffee shops and we use la marzocco; so I had a blast playing on all their machines and pouring shots for myself (for free).
This is the best coffee shop in Seattle. It rotates the beans and theyre almost always very good, sometimes the best youve ever tried. Its in a large space with a radio station and a live DJ broadcasting from there. Its cool.
Delicious coffee, with the white nitro cold brew (cold brew with half and half, and vanilla syrup) was especially smooth and tasty
Super hip vibe and really neat interior! All of the grab and go bites looked fantastic and it was hard to chose. I ended up getting the pretzel with sea salt and am kind of craving another! Definitely recommend and would be happy to come back here! Their black tea was also really good and had a flavorful spin from the generic black teas.
Great open floor plan. Wonderful coffee. Lively atmosphere. A top spot in Seattle to get amazing coffee and hang out. They rotate thru different roasters on a monthly basis, so there is always something new to check out (and taste!) when you visit.
Strange place. Indie rock vibe but feels a bit isolated and empty inside. Cool decor but not a great ambiance. Amazing oatmeal latte. Would really only go there to get coffee to go or to stare at a screen and not look at anyone. 👌
Great space with sometimes live KEXP events and good La Marzocco products.
So many things to love about this place, and the fact that it is located in the KEXP Gathering Space is not even the first on the list! They have a new roaster each month, showcasing their coffee, discussing their approach to farmer selection and coffee selection, cupping events, and lots of informational sessions if you want to learn more about the coffee you drink or just the science, trade and societal aspects of coffee consumption.
For the price and the pretentious vibe you’d think you could get a decent coffee but it was completely burned and watered down. The people at the front seemed annoyed that a customer came in, definitely not going to come back here. Neilsons Bakery has way better service and coffee for better prices, I’d head over there instead it’s about a 5 min walk from this place.
