The latte I ordered was the best I ever had in my life. It was the first cup of coffee where I did not want to add any sugar because it was so intrinsically flavorful. I have seen the light.
Great latte I haven’t had for a long long time. Barista’s very friendly and helpful. I spent a cozy winter afternoon here and would definitely come back.
The kind of a morning espresso was ameliorating and energizing that was the motivation behind why I dont miss drinking espresso consistently. I generally pick this spot too for its comfortable and the plan subject is engaging particularly in the event that you like snapping a picture for Instagram. The barkeep was extremely cool and responsive! This is an optimal spot for me!
I did my research before coming to Seattle and heard a lot about Victrola and their quality roasts and espresso pours. After visiting, I can confirm those rumors. I got a cortado with their house espresso and my girlfriend got a soy milk latte, both some of the best we’ve had. I also grabbed a bag of beans, was surprised to see they have peaberry offerings as it’s something I’ve been wanting to try! We also got a free coffee when we bought our bag of beans- a nice surprise to me.I say, look inside at the Starbucks Reserve or just skip it if there’s a line, then get your coffee from here!
Major kudos for exceptional and quick service! I was so happy I found your coffee shop close to my location. I like the places atmosphere, because it was so stylish. I want to order latte and cheesecake from your cafe. I had also some of your ebst seller drinks. You got my taste right, guys! You want me to recommend all of your coffee shops! See you soon!
Out of all the coffee in Seattle this was my favorite. Flavored lattes with house syrups are perfectly sweetened but dont overpower the coffee. Highly recommend.
Best coffee Ive had in a long time. Great atmosphere + neighborhood. I will be back.
Had their Honduras today it was wonderful on espresso. Highly recommend this shop. Cozy atmosphere and a decent amount of seating for dine in available. I also got the ginger/molasses cookie it was 10/10
Cold brew was good! A little too strong for me, but a good wake up call. Beats the lines at Starbucks right around the corner
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! The breakfast we had was really good and very tasty. The espresso was even better, the best coffee in the area. I also love the decaf it was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The barista is very good at making different toppings. The staff is very friendly. And also the strawberry topped cake is really delicious.
A fine coffee shop for working or chatting with a friend. They offer fresh pastries and baked goods, a cold case with salads and sandwiches, coffees from around the world, a variety of kambuchas and some loose leaf teas. Meeting room in the back is nice for groups of up to 10 (reserve ahead of time), tho it tends to be cold in there in the winter. Outdoor seating is nice in the summer.
Really excellent coffee and friendly service. Been coming here during trips to Seattle for more than 10 years. Thanks for shipping beans during the pandemic!
Excellent coffee, a diverse menu, and a funky atmosphere! Only a fine, diverse mix of music ranging from mellow jazz to good modern. Theres a little bit of everything here. The food, the environment, and the waitress are all absolutely lovely, and the location is extremely cool and ideal for working. This is something I would recommend to someone who enjoys coffee!
Nice and cozy atmosphere with ample space to study, read a book, or just relax. Menu had your classic drinks and I believe they have a rotating menu of coffees. I got the streamline latte and you could tell it was different than most lattes. I also noticed a nice, little book section that wouldve been nice to take a gander at.
The coffee shop has a wide variety of items to help your holiday expand, and the food is perfect for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They were all served by cheerful, friendly workers. This spot was right next to our hotel, so we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy it sometimes during our stay.
Best nitro cold brew ever. Super nutty with strong notes of hazelnut and caramel
We had this on our itinerary to drop by for a coffee at this coffee shop. Its a cozy, nice place with an interesting show. The coffee was great, and they even had other drinks. Worth a visit and a nice spot from all the walking to take a break! I may spend hours there enjoying coffee and handmade desserts.
From the coffee to the atmosphere, everything is amazing here! Its a great study spot, but it can get crowded so youll have to come early for a seat.
Good ambiance and very strong coffee. The stuff are really nice
This coffee shop is on a busy street with several restaurants. My iced chestnut praline latte coffee was tasty, but not quite as good as Id like. The waffle, on the other hand, was delicious. If youre out and about and need a snack, I suggest stopping by for the waffle and a cup of coffee.
Many say Victrola is the best coffee roaster in Seattle. Dont just get a cup - buy their beans. Victrola is famous nationwide. I live in Everett, but get some beans whenever Im in town.
Their coffee and pastries are really good! Cold brew is smooth and fruity.
Had the cold brew and it was smooth and rich. Great place for coffee!
Awesome coffee shop that happens to be a non-profit, but still makes delicious coffee! The atmosphere is really calm and welcoming, giving you the option of sitting inside or outside in a beautiful courtyard. It offers privacy and comfort for working or study, but still a chill vibe to hang out for a quick bite with a few friends or solo. Great spot!
The latte is really good.
Bravo for the excellent and fast service! I was so happy that I found your coffee shop near my place. I like the ambiance of the place because it was so classy. I like ordering your cafe latte and cheesecake. You really got my taste, guys! You expect me to recommend your coffee shop to everyone! Cheers!
Gotta update my review: You gotta take home some grounded coffee before you leave and brew it with a French press. The flavors go from amazing to Astonishing as compared to brewing it similar to Keurig. The coffee and food, specially the tofu banh mi which is always good to me and my beautiful wife. We gladly drive here from Puyallup. Really good coffee is made here. I drink mine drip (black) with a little sugar and the roast flavor is really nice. There tofu banh mi wrap and squash zucchini bread is pretty dang good as well.
Fun place! Great vibes
Good mocha, and really good breakfast sandwiches to-go.
Excellent latte (super creamy) a bit weak but so good anyway
This is a nice little coffee shop to get some work done while enjoying a drink and pastry. They have a good selection of loose leaf teas to go along with the coffee options. They serve up house-made muffins, donuts, buns, and various other things to complement a great drink. The have some unique flavors across the board. Wi-Fi is also very fast. Victrola gets al all-around thumbs up from me!
Delicious food choice and an awesome ambiance to compliment. Friendly owners who have created a truly special dining experience. Highly recommend bringing your friends and ordering family style just so you can try different menu items.
Tired tourists go to the Starbucks reserve down the street. Wired locals go to Victrola for quality coffee.
Victrola opened their newest location in this long-beleaguered sublet retail corner of the historic Bon Marche building in June 2018, and seem to be the first business to have any success here since the Bon Marche days. The remodel features a high ceiling, light and airy open industrial chic design, and comfy chairs with a 180 degree view of bustling 3rd and Pine outside (great spot for tourist-watching). They made my favorite off-the-menu coffee drink perfectly. Like the Cap Hill location, you can buy a bag of beans. The pastry and food selection features vegan and savory options but nothing gluten-free. The shop is adjacent to the new Amazon office entrance (yes, Amazon has moved into the 6 upper floors of the building that Macys isnt using).
Victrola was amazing. I went there based on recommendation from a Seattle native colleague. Compared to the manic crowd next door at the Starbucks reserve, this place was positively serene. I spilled my wifes cappuccino, and they made her another one without us asking. The coffee was excellent. Our son had the kombucha. That was pretty darn good too. This place is a nugget hidden behind the hoopla of Starbucks.
Drink was good, Person making my drink is not customer friendly. If I hadn’t paid already I would of walked out. I was 8-10 feet away and leaned forward because he could not hear what I was saying. He put is hand up and said stay 6 feet away. I respectfully stayed away for his comfort, he was just not cordial at all. There are friendlier places to go even in this state of life
My favorite coffee ever. On certain days they have free coffee cuppings so you can taste and learn a bit about coffee. The employees are efficient and kind. The lattes got me through many early mornings or grey afternoons. After we moved away from Seattle we continued to buy their beans online. Although I miss this location very much I’m still really happy to be able to get my favorite Empire & Streamline blends shipped to us.
Great atmosphere, amazing coffee; truly a necessity for every Saturday morning! This is a great stop for coffee when you’re in need. I loved the business and pleasure.
I absolutely loved it! The coffee was great as well the staff and the atmosphere. The artwork and scenery were beautiful, and my hot coffee is perfect for the evening! I will frequently visit the place!
Awesome customer service and good solid coffee! Pastries could be better though.
The cappuccinos were wonderful too! And very well priced. Love the place, decoration is very cool. Prices also reasonable.
He explained every detail to the barista, who was very knowledgeable about coffee. When I bought packets of coffee to carry around, he even helped out. The members of the team were both polite and accommodative. The overall service that I experienced was outstanding. Highly advised!
One of my favorite, if not my top, Seattle coffee shops. The coffee is delicious, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the baristas are always friendly. As a coffee roaster, they carry some of my favorite beans and their espresso blend is my go to for reliably good shots.
Best coffee in Seattle. I love the cafe space itself, nice and open, perfect for getting a bit of work done. And the coffee is the best. Full of flavor and brewed perfectly.
Really awesome coffee!
I stayed in downtown Seattle for about a week and our goal was to try most of the local coffee shops. Most places left us wanting more and underwhelmed, but Victorla Coffee Roasters made the best coffee we had here.
Amazing coffee, great pastries, but the chai latte was underwhelming. My fiancée usually doesnt drink coffee but loved the espresso here. Will be back for more.
Not only are their coffee, teas, and food amazing - but they also have different independent artists who come and display their work! I fell in in love with this cute café and its staff the first time I popped in.
Got a fantastic latte here!
Reasonable prices for great food and service.
While I love the Starbucks Reserve down the block, it can definitely be a bit overwhelming, especially on the weekends. This is a great spot to get a perfect cup of coffee without all the hustle and bustle down the street. Plenty of seating with lots of people quietly reading and/or on laptops.
Love this place! This was the first place I had been that served Almond milk with their coffee. The owner and staff are really nice and the coffee is super smooth tasting, not bitter or burnt like Starbucks.
Great spot for coffee or coffee and a snack. They have a small selection of salads and pastries. Their coffee is very good, buy a bag of beans and you get a cup for free - a lot of shops do this. This place can be crowded on the weekends and mornings but they always move through the line pretty quickly. Victrola Coffee Roasters is a great place to chill and work on your laptop or do homework while getting your caffeine fix, the seating does fill up. They also have a great big table for large groups or multiple smaller groups to congregate at.
Busy, yet cozy spot in the bustle of Capitol Hill. I had a drip coffee and a Baby K salad. Both were delicious and hit the spot. A good place to read or to have a conversation.
Of all the great coffee roasters in Seattle, this is probably my favorite. The only challenge is its 200 feet from Starbucks roastery and you want to try both a lot of days. Smaller, but probably slightly better than anywhere else in town.
My favorite coffee place in the Bay Area by far. The espresso is perfectly balanced, and they have great drip coffees, too. And the chocolates are excellent. Not much seating, but usually a good crowd, often with dogs.
Great coffee, wonderful staff!
I like my moca tasting like moca. This was weak.
Top three coffee spots in the entire city, hands down. Also, they give free coffee to the homeless, which is adorable.
