Got a quick competent ad-hoc bike service to get rid of a clicking sound when I pedaled. Didnt even need an appointment, they identified and fixed the issue right away, and on top of that the charge was lower than what I would have been ready for. Will be happy to have our new e-bikes (which we bought online) serviced here going forward!

Picked up this awesome e-bike from the old Pioneer Square location. The west Seattle location is awesomeness.

I walked in to look at E-bikes, when I walked in I was greeted politely. When the person got busy with another customer the shops bike mechanic came up the stairs to offer me help and answer any questions. I had a question of why my front tire on my mountain bike looked tilted but he didnt just answer my question he actually brought me down to his work area and showed me what to do and the tool needed to make it straight.He genuinely cared. I will purchase my next bike from Seattle e-bike!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Alex and the crew at Seattle E-Bike! I showed up with my home-built ebike for them to conduct a safety check. They were all very helpful/personable, wanted to help, and communicated clearly (for example, calling when the bike was ready with a description of what they found). The prices are reasonable too. Note for service there is a rear entrance, and if coming in on the California side, the service area is accessed through a common entrance slightly south of their main storefront. Keep going down the hallway and youll run into it on the right.

Great customer service. At first they didnt sound too happy to work on my E-scooter. But I had a mechanical drum brake issue not a electrical problem with the scooter. They work with E-bikes, not scooters, I think I got lucky. I thought I had to wait all day, but they got it done fast.

Because of the approximately 50-mile round trip distance I would have to travel between Lakewood and Seattle, WA to get to this electric bike shop, I called the place and asked someone if they would be able to service an e-bike manufactured in the early 2000s and also provided them with the brand name and model. The person I spoke to on the phone confidently assured me that they could repair it. However, when I arrived at the shop with my bike and explained to them the problem I was having with it, they told me they could not repair it. I was disappointed and annoyed at the inconvenience they had caused me and politely but firmly told them so. Knowing that bike sales are the most profitable aspect of bicycle repair shop operations, I was 99% sure that the next thing they would do would be to try to sell a new e-bike to me, but they didnt do that, either, so I figured that for some inexplicable reason they either didnt need, or want me as a customer. I left the shop and resolved not to attempt to do business with them ever again.

Got one of the first e-bikes in Seattle here back in 2015, and its *still* running! These guys have taken care of my baby every step of the way. They have reasonable prices, excellent communication (email, phone)... Cant even think of anything they could work on to be better. 5+ all the way! Happy riding!

I had an outstanding experience with Alex Dunn, the General Manager today. I was having trouble with an older after-market e-kit for my Brompton, and Alex was able to troubleshoot the problem and make recommendations. Seattle E-Bike understands the components that go into electric motor kits, and not just on brands they sell. I highly recommend Alex and the Seattle E-Bike team for anyone in the market for an electric bike, or for anyone needing to service their e-bike.

Great place to go for bike repairs! They were pretty swamped with customers and repair orders when I arrived on the weekend. But the staff were friendly and informative. Despite how busy the staff were, they were able to turn over my repair order in just a few days.

I bought a Kalkhoff Include from this shop about 4 years ago, back when it was easy for those who live in Vancouver BC to pop down to Seattle WA for a few hours. I really wanted the Kalkhoff, and they were not available for purchase in Canada. Pandemic hits, and the motor fails. My local bike store tells me they cant get a new motor, because they never sold the bikes to begin with. I contacted the shop in Seattle, and Alex was able to facilitate purchasing a new motor and having it shipped to me in BC. I cannot express how happy I am to keep my bike on the road. I was so distraught by the idea of having to retire it after only 4 years of use. Everything else about the bike is still in perfect working order. Thanks so much for the excellent customer service, and for helping me to keep my bike (named Ghost) going! I hope this motor lasts for years to come.

These guys went above and beyond to make sure that my bike was ready to roll out of the shop. Highly suggest talking to these well-educated people. The diagnosed and ultimately fixed my problem I had with my ebike before I moved to California. Needless to say the bike is still up and running and I couldnt think them a enough. I love this bike shop. I am an e-scooter customer and I highly recommend them. Excellent service to an amateur commuter. I went there for a tire change and the price was very fair. They just moved to West Seattle and was worth the journey. Check them out!

The service here is amazing. I bought a used ebike on OfferUp and it needed a lot of work of course I didnt know that when I bought it. Alex and his team diagnosed many issues over many weeks but at the end of the day I got a bike I love.

These guys are great. They take service seriously and are dedicated to the spread of high quality e-bikes. They have consistently gone the extra mile to repair a bit of a lemon that I didnt even purchase at their shop. Im extremely disappointed they are moving so far away that Ill likely need to find a new maintenance shop, but hope they thrive in their new digs. Theyll be missed in Pioneer Square!

Top notch service. I went to these guys for issues I was having for an ebike battery from a kit I had they were able to help me diagnose the issue and get the repair done in 2 business days. The rate is not cheap (nothing for ebikes is cheap), but the level of quality and customer service makes it all worth it.You can tell that these guys are passionate about ebikes and that they want to do a good job.

SO HELPFUL! My e-bike was stolen in West Seattle during the quarantine and I called to put the word out about the bike with descriptors so that if any bike shop came across it they would call me. Alex, the store manager, was SO helpful when I called. He took down all of my info, all of the descriptors of the bike, even cracked a joke about the color! HA! And gave me more info about where to register that my bike was stolen and which facebook pages to post to and where to look for parts being sold. Will definitely come here if and when I need fixing on my bike(s). Thanks Alex!!!!

Took my new electric bike in for a 100 mile check. Told them specifically that the brake cables needed adjusting because of expected stretch.Picked up the bike and realized the cable hadnt been adjusted at all. Also noticed some other very basic issues which should have been caught:-Front wheel hadnt been attached to fork correctly and was slightly jiggly.-derailleur was out of alignment when switching to first gear causing it to hit the wheel and not work.Consider yourself warned.

These guys are scammers. Told me they work on hub motors, kept my equipment for 3 days and then told me they only do diagnostics. Then, they BROKE MY EQUIPMENT. Proofs in the pudding. This was not cracked when brought to these scam artists.

I’ve never had such personal experience from a bike store before. In the middle of the pandemic and with them being slammed with business, they took extra care and time to reach out to me personally several times over the course of three days to update me on issues about my ebike repair. I would definitely recommend Seattle E bike’s and they will be my bike store from this point on.

Id never ridden an e bike. It was incredibly easy to ask for a test drive. The folks there were helpful and didnt shame me for my pretty ignorant questions. The bike was a dream to ride and I think Im sold! Glad theres a place like this to help me when it comes to repairs. Theres a free tune up 90 days after a purchase!

Regardless of my vintage le tour schwinn bike they fixed er up got a new tube for my front wheel .AND IN RECORD TIME ! FOR 40$ CHEAPER THAN ANYWHERE ELSE . FROM greenwood to Georgetown i cant gloat a better gear go-to .

I had a great experience here at Seattle e-bike, the staff was very friendly and knew what they were doing. I found some really nice bikes and decided to get a new one and some really nice accessories as well. I got a repair done here as well the week before and it was ready before i even got back to the shop and looked great.

I came in last week not really knowing what i was looking for and the staff was so helpful, i found a really nice bike that fit my style perfectly. I actually came back later with my brother and he found a really nice new seat for his bike. Wow! if you like cool bikes then seattle e bike is for sure the place to go, they have such a nice staff and stayed open extra long for me so i could test ride and buy a bike. Best bike shop, period. This is the place to get an electric assist bike conversion done. Their engineer, Ben is a lover of all things with wheels and he and his staff are highly competent. He converted my Trek hybrid to an electric assist, and it has changed my life. I can bike anywhere and not have to deal with hill climbing. Service has always been friendly, prompt, and done right. I cannot imagine taking my bike any where else, even though I live 18 miles away and dont own a car.

Bought an ebike from this place three months ago. Explained my commute to the salesperson who agreed that the bike would be a good fit. Salesperson stated that the bike was not a demo and that it had a 1 year warranty.Bike was great when it worked. Sadly it broke down every week. After 7-8 break downs I told the shop I wanted a refund. Shop explained that the sales rep who had sold me the bike had been fired for giving customers bad information but refused to make amends. The owners only solution was that I needed to pay them more money to upgrade the components on my bike to that of a $9000 bike. Owner accused me of riding the bike too hard and frankly wouldnt listen to what I had to say.I understand that some repairs like flat tires are unavoidable but this bike was horrible. Before you spend as much on a bike as you could on a slightly used car please consider more reliable options.

Great selection of quality brands, excellent technical team and deep industry knowledge base. Probably all the high-end electric bikes in one place. I liked the ability to test ride the different models. Friendly staff with a big heart! Saw what they did for Pablo in Bremerton, WA who had his tricycle stolen. And, I dont regret visiting the store in their new location so that I could actually find the best ergonomical fit that provided durability and power.

I have been trying to get in contact with Seattle EBike for a week now but cannot get past their terrible robot voicemail system. When youre ready to spend thousands of dollars on a new bike, it would be nice to have someone answer the phone when you call. Maybe just one of the five days in a row Ive tried even.

Seattle has some great E-Bike shops in general, and Seattle E-Bike is among the best. Certainly the best selection, 25%-grade hills nearby to test bikes on, and Mikaela at the front desk is super knowledgable. I tried out e-bikes from shops all over Seattle, and found the bike I was looking for here. Plus, I might someday do a mid-drive kit, and theyre the only ones Ive found that will sell you one (and a quality one at that).If youre in the market for an E-Bike, youd be doing yourself a disservice to not check them out.

Ok, based on just one phone call, and one visit. They answered my phone call first time on a Saturday, and fixed my flat tire on a Saturday when they say they dont have a mechanic on duty. Their selection seemed awesome.And they were pretty great sales people to talk to, as well as mechanic, while I waited for them to fix the tire.So thats my experience. I write a few reviews on here, of local stuff. And until they treat me otherwise, I had a great experience. As a former business owner, I know a few bad reviews can hurt your business, so I try to write honest reviews, and was hesitant from some negative reviews, but from my experience, this is a great shop.

I was very happy with my purchase and the bike served me well, but after deciding to change my life and move to another career field, I decided that the bike no longer fit my needs and I had more utility for the cash in the transition.Despite returning the bike, I still received the same great customer service that I had the day I bought it. Jasiah was a great service technician/manager who saw me and took care of my needs right after walking into the shop without an appointment (I did call ahead to let him know that I was going to be coming by sometime that daay). I had purchased an eflow Currie e3 Nitro from Offer Up and I promptly messed up the braking system by trying to install a rack. He straightened a rotor and adjusted the brake while I waited there. Picked up a LED/reflector light, bell, and the service all for under $100. It is out of the way for me, being from Everett, but considering no one else could/would help me around my area - the parking and navigating Pioneer Square was worth it. Ill be back.

They recently solved a serious problem for me in a creative, generous way. Ebikes are the future for navigating our congested, hilly city. This is the best place to start your journey.

Worst sales experience ever. Walked in and stated budget, and was immediately shown a bike a thousand dollars more than the budget I gave. Despite me expressing my requirements of only needing some hill assistance, the salesperson continued to try and upsell a bike with features I did not need or want. I insisted it was over budget, but he refused to even show me another model, stating I should just spend the extra thousand. In what world is a thousand dollars chump change? Especially when I shared exactly how much I wanted to spend and what I was looking for? Overall the experience left me baffled with no intention of ever returning to this store.

I purchased a Stromer ST2 from Seattle E-bikes in June 2017 and I am very happy with the sales/services experience.I entered the shop knowing what I wanted so the sales transaction was straight forward.As a former bike shop mechanic, I have always done my own bike maintenance and repair. But the complexity of the E-bike is beyond my scope so I have deferred to the services department at Seattle E-bike. They have done a excellent job at resolving any issues that have come up.The Stromer is an incredible bike to ride. I had a couple of issues with the rear brake that were stubborn to fix so the bike can be quirky. I personally expect this given the design and technology involved. I have owned many bikes in my life time (single speed, road, TT, Mtn, travel/folding, cyclo, electric cargo, ETC.) and this is one of the most enjoyable bikes. I use it to commute 35-45 miles a day and love every minute of it.

Good prices good product good people. And I got all 3 plus 1500.00 in savings at the store.

A wonderful new bike store in the heart of Pioneer Square. The very nice and helpful staff was able to answer all of my questions and allow me and some friends to test ride their bikes. The Fatsand bikes are very cool, I took one for a spin during a Husky game downtown and almost too many people shouted, Nice wheels!. They dont have suspension but the wheels are about 4.5 inches wide, making them feel very floaty. I weaved in and out of rail tracks, rode over cobblestone and jumped over curbs which could only be described as a Cadillac smooth feel. The Fatsand bike is very comparable to Surlys, but more affordable and come with an internal geared hub. My friends tried the e-bikes and were very surprised at how much fun they are to ride (my whole point in bringing them). My biggest surprise was how well priced all the bikes are, the highest end off-road version e-bike they had was comparable to an average priced e-bike in Seattle. Ive been looking at e-bikes for long time and ended up building my own, but I havent found any e-bikes in town that can match these prices. If you have a couple hours to kill be sure to stop by this shop and try out the bikes. If anything youll have a fun time.

Ok when so when I first reviewed this place I was having a rather difficult time with all manner of frustration regarding both health and general Bitchiness on my side so I figured considering our recent purchase now would be a good time to revisit the last one. My old bike a white Prodeco was stolen from outside my work about a month ago now it was definitely one of the most frustrating moments of my life as well as a practice in the art of futility, However the guys and Gal at Seattle E-Bikes really stepped up (they didnt have too considering my last snarky post) to help me figure out a way to make this right since the police had no leads. Mikaela Not Only helped my husband to get in touch with the insurance company but she went one step further to inform us whenever they might have found possible leads on the jerk who stole it Thank you guys so much and by the way The NEW hotness that is my Prodeco Black bike runs like a dream Thank you soo much seattle E-Bikes!!!!

This place should have remained closed. The blonde sales woman visibly tried to avoid me, I had to pester her just to ask a question about a bike I was interested in. She was short, rude, and dismissive.
