We stopped in on a busy Saturday, without an appointment, and Shelby was able to accommodate us. She answered all of our questions as we picked out skis & bindings for multiple family members. She was super knowledgeable, and did not try to up-sell or offer us something we clearly did not want or need. With product available to us all through so many different channels, service is what sets retailers apart. Evo - Shelby is an asset to your Seattle store, and your level of service has made us loyal customers for years to come!
As novice snowboarders, this place was outstanding. Tommy, our fitting specialist, was by far amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient. He answered all of our gazillion questions. He was efficient and knew his stuff. He made the appointment alot of fun. You can tell he loves what he does cause his energy is infectious. We cant wait to take our boards out this season! Thanks again!
Brand new to snowboarding, came in to get fitted for a full kit. Booking my appointment was super easy which I really liked. Worked with Chris who gave me so much excellent advice about what to spend more or less money on, what size to go for, whats a good deal, ect. Exactly the kind of experience you would want when getting fitted for gear, and super low pressure environment.
Rental bikes are really good quality for a reasonable price. It’s also right on the Burke Gilman trail which takes you all over. Staff was also helpful.
This was my first time ever buying skis and it could have been really intimidating. Gabby made my experience PERFECT! I have wide calves and she just so happens to specialize in helping with just that. I had such a seamless experience. If youre ever looking for skis, come here and definitely ask for Gabby!
Always great. Have bought a ton of gear over the years both in store and online, the selection is unmatched. Its a great setup and a really inviting place to come get outfitted. Parking is easy as well.
Charlotte is such an awesome boot fitter! I come in with a list of pains and annoyances from my last couple pair of boots and they helped me find the perfect pair first try. I always have a great experience at the Seattle Evo Store, cannot recommend enough! Thank you Charlotte!!
I recently visited evo to upgrade my ski setup. I had done some light research before going in and was planning on visiting another shop before purchasing to make sure I was getting an appropriate ski/boot and for the best price. However, the teams thoroughness and transparency gave me total peace of mind that I was in the right place to invest in my ski gear! Connor spent the majority of Friday morning figuring out what I was looking for, and then walked me through the process of choosing what was exactly right for me. He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Thanks Connor!! See you at Schweitzer! P.s. Michael/Otter was also helpful and very knowledgeable.
Absolutely love this place! Staff here are so knowledgable and friendly, shout out to Jess who helped me find my first boot, and thanks Wyatt for going over so much basic knowledge for a beginner like me : ) Will visit evo again to get the rest of snowboard equipments!
Im not convinced my bike suspension is fixed. Also they gave me my bike back with a low tire (tubeless so could have pumped it). Theyve done a good job on ski maintenance though!
Bought boots at Evo and had excellent customer service and fitting support from Brandon. Wonderful products and chill environment.
I rented a bike from them last week. While they request reservations in advance, I am grateful they accommodated my same-day request. As expected, the Giant hybrid I rented was in good shape as was the helmet. Staff were super friendly. As for the location, it’s convenient to get to downtown by bus or a nice ride. Check out the nearby Gas Works Park and the beautiful Burke-Gilman trail. The Fremont Troll is also a 5-minute walk away.
Love this place! Very knowledgeable staff & great gear
I bought ski boots from evo, and their staff were friendly, professional, and really expert. Getting boots to fit my feet is no small task, but Greg was methodical, knowledgeable, and I ended up with a great fitting boot that I was stoked to get. Their price matching policyhelped me get a great deal to boot! Definitely go to evo, and if you need ski boots and have weird feet, ask for Greg.
I worked with Lucian in the snowboard department, man he is top notch customer service all the way. I really wanted to get into the step in binding system, so Lucian worked with me to make sure my boots were perfect with zero pressure points. Always watching out for me each step of the process make sure I get the best out of the gear. Plus he knows his stuff, always a joy to visit the store. If you ever shopping for ski/snowboard setup, visit Evo Seattle they definitely take care of you.
Absolutely one of the best pro shop experiences Ive ever had. The sales person we worked with was very knowledgeable, and helped kit us out with everything we needed to get started mountain biking. The rental experience there is also excellent.
Great employees very knowledgeable when it comes to all things snow sports. They also have great equipment to try that you cannot usually find in other stores unless its online shopping. I love to go and check out new equipment that has not come out somewhere else.
The bike service shop is full of hacks. Scheduled my bike for a standard tune and to get a creak fixed during a month long stay in Seattle. These guys never called me when the bike tune was complete, and when I picked it up they told me they fixed the creak. Rode it 5 feet and the creak was very obviously still there, they didnt even try. Had to leave the bike overnight to get the creak fixed. I lost 2 days of valuable, limited riding time, there is still some creak still persisting, and they charged me over $300 for it. Avoid this shop for bike repairs.
Will in the bike shop/rental building was amazing. I had a weird request, and needed some help with a new bike I purchased and he was more than willing to lend a hand. Highly recommend!
Worked with Clancy on getting a pair of boots. He was very knowledgeable about the type of boots that would work for my style of riding and spent a lot of time getting them fitted properly for my feet. Very helpful. Definitely coming back.
Brad at Evo Customer Service really went above and beyond to help me place an online order, apply a promo code, AND AND AND called over to the warehouse to get the order out the door today all so I can get my river shoes in time to get out on the water this weekend and beat the 111 heat forecast for Portland. I mean, really, you are awesome. I am le stoked. Many thanks.
I am thoroughly impressed with this place. I’ve been there multiple times to pick up ski gear with great experiences, but recently went to the bike shop and can’t praise them enough. Insanely helpful, friendly and Holy $h*t, knowledgeable. A bike mechanic even helped me with a split board issue (as I was there for multiple reasons). Customer service is clearly their priority, and it’s a breath of fresh air!
Inventory and customer service can’t be beat. Brittany greeted me at the door when I walked in for my appointment. She’s exceptional, knowledgeable, an expert in both equipment and riding style. She was able to direct me to exactly what I needed and a perfect fit within five minutes of describing the problems with my boots riding my riding experience. We tried a few others but her first pick nailed it. I appreciate efficiency, expert knowledge and precision which is why I jumped on writing this review. 👏🏼
I love Evo. Its a great store and the staff is always pleasant and helpful.
I traveled a few hours to the Seattle Evo store to pick up a wetsuit. All of the employees were so helpful and friendly. It’s obvious that Evo does a great job training their employees to create a welcoming and helpful culture!
First time to the store. Unreal service. Olivia knew everything there was to know about every product on the shelf. Walked in looking for a board..... walked out with new bindings and boots as well. The only sell quality goods, no cheap knockoff stuff that will break. No need to spend your money anywhere else.
Went for a new helmet, had just crashed earlier in the morninga woman walked up to me and told us everything we needed to know and was super friendly and helped with sizing, and the store was very organized and easy to locate things
Megan was so knowledgeable for my boot fit! I felt like I was in PRO hands. She gave me so many options and knew every stat about every pair. She knew exactly what I wanted without me having to specify it. Loved the experience. I enjoy talking to professionals (Megan) that are so passionate about the skiing experience. Thanks evo for hiring such great employees:)
Thomas was the best help there. Recommend talking to him about your snowboard needs.Energetic, always engaged in conversation and experienced enough bro help beginner to intermediate snowboarders. Thanks Thomas, well be back 💪🏾🤙🏾
Outdoor activities, specifically snowboarding, have been a huge part of my life for a long time. I have shopped at evo online before and I love their customer service through their online store. However, I have never felt so unwelcome at a gear store before. After asking about sale items, the employees became quite snobby and pretentious. Other gear shops do not treat their customers as less than just for inquiring about sale items. Disappointed.EDIT: The manager has since reached out to me about this. It seems to have been a one off issue that and is not a problem that seems to happen often if at all. I just had bad timing. I have since returned to the store and had a quite a pleasant experience made right by the manager and evo staff. Very pleased.I was not asked to give this review a five star or to update.
Boot fitting - excellent - got a wide foot with a high arch. The person helping me spent close to 2 hours with me - trying on different boots, finding the one that fit the best, heating and adjusting until the fit was perfect. Got assistance with new ski and binding selection based on my preferences. Afterwards had on-line chat during ordering when needed assistance on deciding on some sizes. Overall end-to-end wonderful experience.
Committed to picking a new hobby for 2021/2022 snow season and have been trying to choose gear. With all the types of brands, features, for each type of equipment, I needed a a lot of help figuring out the differences given the varied price tag on each. This past week I was so impressed with an employee named Jess. Went in there wanting to try on Limelight boots & step on bindings but unfortunately they didn’t have burton in stock. Jess could’ve just had me leave the store but I’m so glad she took time to share her expert knowledge with me — in addition sized my foot, let me try on boots/bindings/gloves/mittens, helped me figure out I needed “asia fit” goggles, confirmed I needed a medium helmet. Now I know exactly what I need when 2021/2022 product rolls out. Overall really impressed with the patience in general and can’t wait to come back here in the fall.
Had unbelievable service from Lucian.Went in to sort out my boot issues once and for all. Got custom insoles and new boots, Lucian must have spent close to 2 hours making sure I left with the perfect set up. Had a slight pinch even after the heat molding and the custom insoles (I have hobbit feet), and Lucian went into the back and worked the boot liners until they were the perfect fit. First day on the slopes with them was a huge success, super happy!
Great people with lots of knowledge! Had a boot fitting that went beyond my appointment and store close time, they didnt mind! Just wanted to make sure i had the perfect fitting boot. Thank you guys love the new gear!
Great experience!! With a plethora of skis available and boots to choose from, my daughter was able to find the perfect set up for her skiing adventures! Great service also! Boot fitting was fabulous! Heated up the boot and molded to foot! Just wish I knew about this place sooner!! Thanks EVO!
I’d like to give a shout out and a thank you to Clancy. Came in to buy a whole setup (board/bindings/boots) and he helped me from boot fitting and finding the right combo. My sizes weren’t in the store so he helped me order them online. Came in a few days later to the store. After picking them up, he helped me heat mold my boots. My guy was super chill and helpful throughout the whole process. I was able to take my new setup for a run and couldn’t be happier. Appreciate you man!
Today my boyfriend and I came in and ended up spending a long time at the store. Ethan and Olivia we so incredibly outstanding. Olivia helped my boyfriend get a new snowboard, boots, and bindings. She was knowledgable about every shoe and every board she showed us. The process was smooth and she was easy to work with. Ethan helped us find all of our gear in both men’s and women’s. He also had impeccable product knowledge. No matter how many times we circled back to him he was equally willing to help.
I like the store for a lot of reasons but especially because when I go there they have what I need 9/10 times. And always have nice bikes to look at because lets be honest everyone always thinks about their next upgrade...😊😊
I had my Ski Boots fitted by Connor today and he did a fantastic job, was very friendly and constantly aware of myself and other customers. I dont usually give reviews but he did THAT GOOD of a job. Thanks Connor!
An awesome store with an awesome staff. I was standing in the corner of the store with the Burton Deep Thinker in one hand and the Ride Super Pig in the other, clearly having an internal conflict between which would be my 2021 board. In comes Drew to save the day. He asked me what my goals of the season were, what I liked to do, and then told me some of his experiences with the boards. He made picking the Super Pig so much easier, then helped me with new boots and bindings. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and charismatic, making my purchasing experience so enjoyable. If you are in the market for a new snowboard or components, definitely check out this store and ask for Drew... you won’t regret it!
The store was busy with ski boot fitting, but they accommodated us and was able to try on what I was looking for! Great customer service. Lots of skis and boots in stock.
Extremely poor experience with the ski tune shop. I dropped off new skis and bindings for mounting, both purchased from the Evo retail store. After picking up the skis I noticed one binding HAD NOT BEEN ADJUSTED AT ALL. One ski was mounted and adjusted correctly, the other was mounted and then never adjusted. There was a 1 cm difference between the bindings length and one toe was set for standard alpine the other was set for Grip Walk. The length of the unadjusted binding was so far out that you couple place a finger between the boot and heel engagement. I always check my gear before skiing but as it was returned to me, it presented a significant injury risk and a risk of damage to the ski, binding, or boot. When I returned to the shop the staff was very apologetic but were obviously very concerned. They immediately started adjusting the binding right there at the reception desk before getting my info or asking questions.Rather disparagingly they then gave me the skis back and I had to point out to them that one of the toe was still not set for the boot. Another tech came and, before looking at the skis, tried to tell me that the toe height wasnt critical on Marker bindings. After which he must have noticed the issue because he significantly adjusted it for the boot and to match the other binding.Note: its unfortunate that the tune shop doesnt have its own page. Tune shop withstanding, I was very pleased with the staff on the retail side of the business.
I cant say enough nice things about this place. First and foremost the staff... helpful is an understatement. This has to have the most knowledgeable, kind, awesome people of any store Ive ever been to. Their prices are very fair, but they could charge a higher premium for the products they sell and I would still shop there because of how awesome the staff is. When you go to Evo you know youre going to get taken care of. If this was a publicly traded company I would 100% invest. Great team, great culture, great products. Youll be hard pressed to find a better outfitter. 5 stars is not enough, this is how businesses were meant to be run 👍
I was looking for a new setup for split-boarding.I found what I wanted and came to the store.I picked everything out. But didn’t feel very confident about my decision. One of the employees suggested I speak to Lucian, (spell check) before making a decision. He was beyond helpful.I left feeling completely solid about my purchase. As you should spending 1,500$ on new toys.I shop at REI a lot.The staff I encountered at Evo had a much better attitude an I didn’t feel annoyed with my interaction with them.It was like I arrived at the surprise birthday party I didn’t know I was having. That’s a good welcoming feeling. Also Clancy I believe. (Arm in a sling)Beyond helpful as well and great attitude. He way my original help and was great.Everyone was great!!!Will be back for my new surfboard.
Conner was literally the nicest employee, he let us know there were PRIDE hats and that made me and my gfs day :)
I really like the business and store as a whole but every time I’ve interacted with the staff they have been rude, dismissive, and condescending. I can definitely excuse one employee having a bad day but this has been multiple employees and multiple interactions. If you ask an employee a question they feel is easily answered or a dumb question it is clearly obvious they think it’s a dumb question. It would be very much appreciated if the sales team and service shop could get on the same page regarding pricing for ski shop services.
I’ve only been shopping at evo for the past year and I have always had a wonderful experience. Everyone is so knowledgeable and friendly. I went to the service shop this past week because I gouged my board on opening day at Crystal and they not only fixed my board quickly, but it looks brand new. They did a phenomenal job! Highly recommend.
I had a really great experience at the Store, and Drew had a large part to play in it. I was helped by Drew for a full snowboard fitting, and he was super friendly, as well as extremely informative. He gave me 3-4 options for every component, and explained why he chose each product, what exactly I should look for when I tried each part out, and even dove into the details of what the different styles of construction were, and what use cases each one is optimal for. His comprehensive knowledge of snowboarding gear, riding, and terrain, coupled with his friendliness and sincerity, gave me a lot of confidence in the gear purchases I made today, and I cant wait to try them out.
Even though Clancy was fairly new at the time I had my appointment with him, it was clear that his many years of snowboarding made him a natural for the job. After finally being able to make it out to the slopes for the first time with my new gear, Im super happy with the setup! Definitely recommend coming here if youre not sure of what to get.
A high-quality shopping experience has been preserved here throughout the pandemic, something that cannot be said for many businesses, particularly in outdoor rec. Everyone I spoke to was helpful and kind. I left feeling that I had the right product, and that I had bought it from the right place.
I walked in knowing I needed a whole set up, but knew very little about anything. I felt more comfortable once Clancy started helping me. I’m not sure how someone knows so much about about snowboarding. He set me up with everything I needed, it was so smooth, it’s like he knew what I liked before I did 😂 . Thanks for such a great experience can’t wait to get back on the mountain 🏔 💪
Clancy was great, hooked me up with my first board & bindings & gave us some great advice & info. 10/10 I’ll be back here.
We love Evo. Really convenient. Flexible when weve had to make exchanges. Great service group. Thank you!
I stopped by on my way through town hoping to get my boots assessed and heat molded. It was a busy Sunday and understandably they were appointment only. Cest la vie. But Jonathan was a total g and squeezed me in. He was super knowledgeable and got me dialed. Thanks Evo and thanks Jonathan!
Due to COVID, you have to make an appointment for any hardware purchases (skis, snowboards, etc.) so I made an appointment for a full snowboard setup (1.5hrs). A wonderful staff member walked me through the whole process, giving me a ton of feedback and pros/cons for each recommendation that he gave me. I am probably an advanced rider, but dont keep up with the latest snowboarding technology, so I needed a lot of educating before I could make a purchase. As much as making an appointment ahead of time was a pain, it was so worth it for the 1:1 experience. evo is THE best place in Seattle to buy gear because the staff know so much and the service is excellent. Ill be back in two weeks (when I was able to get an appointment!) to get my husband some skis.
Socially responsible is the best way to describe evo Seattle when you first visit the Seattle location. The staff members were very friendly and attentive. They helped me find the wetsuit I requested with no issues. Parking was not a hassle which is very rare for that part of Seattle. The store is very well organized and resembles more of a beachfront shop and not something that is located in a trendy Seattle location. The dude at the counter was very helpful and confirmed that Westport is an awesome place for surfing in the fall and winter months! Thanks for the help evo Seattle! I will be back for future needs.
I had an absolute awesome experience with Drew in the snowboard department! He was very patient, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable with all the snowboards the store had. If I were to recommend anyone to go buy a snowboard Id definitely recommend not only Evo Seattle, but also Drew to help them with their snowboard needs! :-)
Just had THE best customer service experience of my life. Ordered a pair of bindings online. I never received them even though shipper said they were delivered. Was super bummed.. I called customer service after waiting only about 5 minutes. I spoke with Sophie who was kind, patient, and just awesome overall. They took care of me and are shipping me another pair without giving me a hard time and blaming me for not receiving the shipment. I couldnt be happier with my experience. THANK YOU, will be lifelong customer.
Epic service and super knowledgeable staff. They live the lifestyle, know the products and are great at what they do. Bought a pair of snowboard boots for my son and Drew spent over an hour with us to try on a bunch of boots, get the fit dialed, and then get them heat molded. Also spent a bunch of time trying on all different goggles until I found the right ones with the right lenses and the staff knew their stuff in that department as well. If you want to blow your bootfitters mind, stop over at Fremont Brewing and buy him or her a 6 pack. The stoke is completely worth it :-)
If you need winter sports gears, look no further. Lots of stuff from many different brands and most importantly staffs are knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly.
Great company. Great customer service. They will continue to be our first stop for all things snow, ski etc!
The selection of skis is great and prices seem fair, but was disappointed to drive 40 minutes there to find out that you can’t even try on boots without an appointment, and that appointments are booked for a month. At the time of this post the main website doesn’t make note of this, at least not in an obvious location. They were willing to sell me boots off the shelf if I knew what I wanted, but then the inventory shown on their website as “available in store” didn’t match what they actually had. The staff was generally friendly, and seemed knowledgeable, but still a disappointing experience. EDIT: I appreciate the response Dayna. I was in a foul mood that day and was probably too critical of you guys.
Bates is a boot whisperer! He helped me understand why divorcing my TLT6s would be a mistake. He made them more appealing by changing the liner, adding a custom footbed and creating room for a long toe. Now they are the most comfortable footwear that I have, and I am in love with them again. I sold my slippers and ballet shoes! Thanks, Bates!
Every point of contact with Evo (in-store, on the phone, online) has been wonderful. Each and every one of the mostly young staff my son and I encountered at the Seattle store exhibited prime examples of genuine customer service. Evo will always be our source for our ski and related outdoor needs. Thank you Evo!
I came in write near closing having done a lot of research on what snowboard to get and the guys in the store were super kind and helpful to me as I struggled over what board I should get. In the end I wafdled back and forth a ton and ended up staying like 10 minutes after closing. I felt really bad but the two guys Michael and Jon were super great and deserve some kind of recognition for their great customer service. Def check out evo if your looking for snowboarding gear!
I needed an adjustment on my new ski boot liners/boot fit on Friday of the weekend snow storm. The store was short staffed from snow traffic, half their crew couldnt make it in that am. However Greg took the time to make it work on his schedule. I barely waited, he assessed the boot/liner situation vs my feet, then advised to punch my boots rather than reheat the liners. I was out the door and skiing just in time for the big storm. Really appreciate your help. Big shout out to Greg, and all the staff at Evo. PS. You fixed my scrunched toes, thank you.
I purchased a new pair or Burton Step-On bindings and boots in late December. And although I had a boot fitting session, the boots ended up being a half-size too small. Unfortunately for me, I didnt discover this until I had already spent a painful day on the mountain with them – my big toes getting utterly mangled. Evo (and most other shops) have a no-return policy if boots have been used, which is pretty reasonable. I went back to the Seattle store where they worked with me to make it right. That meant that I actually needed an exchange, because no amount of adjustments seemed to help. Ultimately they ended up giving me a refund because they didnt have another pair in my size. They really went above and beyond despite having a clear policy against accepting returns that are used. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and I will absolutely buy from them in the future.
We made an appointment and specified that we wanted to look at one mountain bike that was shown as available on their website. When we got there, we were being “helped” by Britney. She did not know what bike we booked about, after figuring that out, turns out they didn’t even have it at the store(they didnt bother to let us know). She was extremely reserved, unfriendly and off putting. She offered no explanation or apology for the clear incompetence and total waste of our time. When we asked if we could be notified when the next shipment of bikes comes in, she was so unhelpful and basically said it was not possible. We will not be returning here and would rather take our business somewhere that respects customers who are looking to buy something of this size and price and requires friendliness and diligence.
Buying snowboard boots at Evo was the best experience I could hope for. Drew is super knowledgeable about snowboarding and really friendly. He helped us try a few pair on, talked about the tech and benefits of each, and then helped us place an order for the perfect boots.
Ski bindings broke a week after purchasing. The folks in Will Call got them refunded, helped me find better better bindings to purchase, got them on order, and the folks in the Service Shop had them mounted just in time for another weekend on the mountain. Couldnt have asked for a better experience. Loyal customer created.
Went into Evo to browse the full suspension MTBs. I was being helped by Nic S. In that department. This guy was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on the subject. He gave me excellent advice and perspective of what bike would best be suited for my riding style. I didnt think I was going to end up buying a bike that day but the overall experience I had just felt right to get one. Thanks again Nic and Evo for the awesome mtb and buyers experience.
Evo has a super helpful team, carries a wide array of products at a great value. My husband and I went in to get ski boots and were helped by Kyle, who was super attentive, patient, knowledgeable, friendly and fun. Overall great experience and customer service - we will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
Unreal service! Clancy was super informative and helpful with what snowboard I should get and the boot fitting was also really nice as well. If you get the chance, talk to Clancy, hes a super chill dude!
Charlotte at Evo did a custom boot fitting and canting of my Nordic skate ski boots. This is not a typical winter request and I was impressed with the knowledgeable and friendly service that went above and beyond to keep me pain-free on the trails.
6 stars! I just took my bike in for a new bottom bracket. This was one of the best experiences Ive ever had with a bike shop. First I called around all my usual bike shops that I used to go to before EVO was a thing. EVO was the only shop to have my part in stock, they had the lowest prices for installation, and they could get me in immediately and have it completed in 20 minutes. Ryan was my service guy and did a great job. This is absolutely my new bike shop.
Huge selection of gear and incredibly helpful staff. New to snow sports and was hugely appreciative of the staffs ability to answer questions, provide experienced guidance, and their high level of patience for the many items I needed to try on, buy, and exchange/return. 11/10 on service, and bonus on dogs being in the shop.
Originally had issues with the products and service I received. After writing my complaints I was contacted and the issue was resolved. Super happy with my ski set up now!!
Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. Great gear selection. The new tune shop in the back is awesome! Definitely worth checking out if you haven’t already.
The associate that helped me was very knowledgeable and found me the perfect fitting ski boot. I also purchased skis online and the pricing was great on last years model. I just wish they had a store in Northern California.
They do a great boot fit! I felt very safe with the number of people in the store.
Lucian was very knowledgeable, professional, and patient. He assisted my wife and I on outfitting us both with complete split board set ups. I can’t tell you how happy I am to see a company like this help our community and I’m so glad to be a part of it thank you Evo and most importantly thank you Lucian ! you are the best and you have word and my business for years to come.
Travis and Jess were SO helpful. My uncle and I came into the store to look at snowboarding gear and asked way too many questions, but they answered all of them with a smile and truly tried to help us understand everything we needed to know. We learned a ton even though we took up so much of their time. Sorry for that guys, but thank you very much!
Love the knowledge and expertise of the employees here, they really care about getting the right gear for you. But their return policy could use a facelift - any item that is not in pristine condition cannot be returned. Was talked into buying snowboard bindings because they only had two types in stock, ended up really disliking them, and now am not able to return them. Maybe make like REI and have a used gear section or garage sale approach? For this reason I won’t be buying from Evo any longer
Went here for my splitboard (they were in stock with options!) and had a great experience. I worked with Clancy, and I couldnt have asked for a better person who knew his stuff (so much so that I felt like he could run the place pretty soon), was patient with me, and overall just super easy to get along with. This was my first splitboard, so he gave me the scoop and his honest opinion on the gear out there. I did some research and came back the next day to get my board, and Clancy even took the time to show me how to mount the bindings and talk me through putting on skins. Ill definitely be coming back if Evo keeps people like him around.
Great store with super high quality products. The associates are well informed and know how to fit their customers with skis and outdoor gear. They were very helpful as I was looking for new boots for my wife. Great store and I recommend them!
Jillian at Evos Snowboarding Clothing department greeted me with her warm smile offering to help me find what I was looking for. I appreciate Jillians Nordstrom treatment in her own fun way. I asked if any XS coats are left and she said yes! Jillian further offered to find my size in a variety of brands. I tried all and arrived at a versatile Volcom jacket and Oyuki mittens. I am grateful for Jillians warmth and rad service.❤
Staff is always friendly and fun to talk to.
Very bad customer service. Had issues with my order (being shipped the wrong item, then missing parts) and still 18 days later I have sent multiple emails and calls with no response. I understand things can happen that are out of Evos control and thats okay but not getting back to me, having to call and email trying to get ahold of someone multiple times should not happen, especially with a $1,500 order. I am done with Evo after this order. Everyone sells gear at a similar price, what sets them apart is their customer service and Evos was very poor.
A great place to shop! Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff!
I went to evo with the intention of learning and getting the best board for myself. Drew helped me a lot in understanding the type of board would be best for me and I would recommend any boarders to talk to Drew for the best service!
Been shopping at Evo for 10+ years, Ive had nothing but great experiences with the staff. This review is long overdue. The price match program is legit. Theyll match any competitor (given the identical size, model and year is available) and give an additional 5% off. I was able to order Ride Insano 2021 tiger camo boots for $100 off.Shout out to:Greg - helping me with foot beds, and immediately asking Lucien to help me with finding hardware.Lucien - finding all the correct hardware for my broken bindings.Eric - for helping me with the order and awesome customer service over the phone.Clancy - for fine tuning my boot fitment with heat molding and widening my toe cap. He treats you like youre at a fine dining restaurant and caters to your every need while also being easy to talk to and work with. Id no doubt be a regular of his if this were a restaurant or bar. Service also doesnt end once you walk out the door, if something doesnt feel right with my boots after a day of shredding, I just gotta head back in and Clancy has my back with any adjustments.Keep doing what you all are doing at Evo, youll always be the gold standard in my book!
I had some trouble with my online order and Kyle responded with best customer service I’ve ever experienced. He was very solution oriented, knowledgeable about the products and did everything he could to fix the issue. Thank you for excelling at your job!
Great store, great vibe! If other outdoor retailers makes you vomit now, like they do to me, then make the switch. Less people in Keens and more knowledgeable about gear and the different applications of that gear. I have had nothing but a great experience since shopping at Evo.
After long hiatus from skiing I got the itch back and went in search of new ski boots. Many local stores both big and small had very low inventory. Evo however had a great selection. Most importantly though the customer service was top notch. I was assisted by Jonathan who was very knowledgeable. He asked a series of sizing and ability questions and based on those answers plus measurements of feet, came out with two selections. Ended up choosing the Atomic Hawx and he actually went above and beyond and made time to do a customized boot fitting on the spot which was important because I had another trip up to mountain scheduled. All in all great experience and I will be back to purchase the rest of the set...skiis bindings poles. Thanks Evo and Jonathan for the great experience!
Super rad store. Cool clothes. Got some help today getting sized up for wetsuits and some other surfing gear. Talked to the guy quite a bit, then he gave us an extra deal at checkout. Gotta love it.
One of the best shopping experiences I’ve ever had. Period.
