I like this shop and the staff is super nice and friendly. I like to take my bike here since it’s so close, and I recently went in to buy new brake pads and have them replaced, which they were able to do quickly. I returned a few days later to explain how the braking performance had diminished and the braking was loud/making weird noises.Without doing much inspection or testing to recreate the sounds/braking performance - I was advised this was normal, and that it would go away. I didn’t believe that, so I took it to another more expensive shop nearby and I ended up needing to get new pads and rotors.

Jason and this shop are both awesome. I got into a bike crash a few blocks away and couldnt bike home due to a bent derailleur hanger. I walked on over and within 5 he did a quick once over and straightened out my derailleur hanger. The rear shifter is working great. Cant thank him enough!

I experienced an unexpected and abrupt loss of tire pressure while biking on Broadway and limped to the nearest shop for a tube. Unfortunately, my tire had actually failed catastrophically and that shop did not have my admittedly uncommon tire size so I went another block and a half to Good Weather. I was immediately hooked up with a suitable tire, tube, and valve adaptor along with some delightful banter. The owner even discounted the tire, presumably because I was so pitiful looking.10/10, A+ service, absolutely would go again in my time of woe (or just to grab a beverage and lunch).

Went here for my annual service in my Specialized E-Bike. They are a specialized service provider, etc. It took them 3+ weeks to get the parts. When I finally got the bike back it was skipping gears all the time. The chain has busted twice and Ive fixed it both times myself. I keep trying to bring it back to them but they are closed and their hours dont match online. Taking it to Electric and Folding Bikes NW to have their service repaired.Very frustrated.

The people at Good Weather have been so friendly and welcoming as Ive gotten more into cycling during COVID (cya in 2022, gym?). At other bike shops it felt like the mechanics were talking down to me or judging me for not having the right look or the right bike or being the right size for a cyclist, but the people at Good Weather have been so helpful and no judgment. (Plus theres really good tacos and coffee while you get your bike worked on!)I saw the other reviewer that said they were rude -- pretty sure theyre mixed up and didnt go to Good Weather (to be fair the address is kinda funky--walk *into* the alley between the restaurants), because this place is a godsend.

The fellas and ladies that greet you will do so with an open smile and a curious smirk. Theyll play with you if you want to play and will serve you a killer cortado if you just want to get some coffee and get the eff out. Go here. So happy I stumbled on this place while looking for something that was open despite all the snow! They were super friendly to me and anyone else who walked in, gave my dog little treats, and just were super awesome.I normally don’t like HOT latte’s because for whatever reason, I always think they don’t taste as good as ICED latte’s but since it was snowing, decided a HOT latte was a better option. They must be magic but it was the best latte I’ve ever had. I overheard them saying that they don’t have a lot of fancy coffees and different ways to brew so they decided to just focus on making drip coffee and making it reallyyyy good. They definitely did that.(Also their breakfast tacos were soooo good!!!)

I had a very positive experience with Good Weather. My e-bikes brakes needed attention, and multiple people had recommended Good Weather. I planned to get a thorough tune up, in addition to the brake work. The day after checking in my bike, the store texted me saying it was ready for pickup. The employee said my bike needed far less work than Id thought, only one pad needed replacement. In short, they only fixed what needed fixing, charging me $50 when I was planning to spend $150+ and I wouldnt have known any better. Thanks Good Weather! Will definitely be back.
