School of bike is in session! This is the type of spot that just ups your biking knowledge. Got my bike tuned with some changes to stock parts. The owner is fast, hard working, honest and personable. Never going anywhere else to get my bike worked on.

Came here for a bike fitting, and the owner was very thorough in learning about my bike and my ride needs to recommend changes after looking at how it currently fitted. He also gave suggestions on future updates I should be doing.Cant recommend this place enough for all your bike repair needs. He also has a stock of refurbished bikes which were well maintained!

I got a new bike online, and was looking to get it professionally installed and fit. Cory is a real cool guy, and for a little bit extra, he showed me how to put everything together.Ive done a fair bit of touring and organized centuries on Craigslist bikes that are just too big, and Ive gotten a lot of knee/hip/back/neck pain as a result. Stock bikes have parts that are way too big for my tiny legs, so we ordered a shorter stem, handlebars, and crank arms (specially-ordered 155mm for my 52 frame). It made a huge difference in fit! My knees are so happy now.Prices are very reasonable here.Corys the kind of guy who runs out of the store after you, just to double-check that all the bolts are tightened down. One time I came around for Bike Bingo and he gave me a spider plant just because.

Cory is the best person for your bicycle needs. I took my bicycle because I could tell it wasn’t 100% after moving across the country with it strapped to my car. He did a free safety check, and very honestly told me what he noticed. I left my bike with him for a tune up, and also decided to schedule a class with him to learn how to do basic bike maintenance. He is very kind and patient, and is an excellent and encouraging teacher. He is also very clear with what information is most important, which is awesome. We had nice conversation here and there, and he’s definitely easy to get along with.If anything ever happens to my bike that I can’t fix myself, I know Cory is my guy.

Cory fixed for free what I thought was a chain problem, but it turned out to be a ME problem which Cory gently corrected. Wouldnt take a dime for the quick fix, so I asked Cory if he would accept a $10 donation on behalf of his forthcoming first grandchild. Cool shop run by a knowledgeable and cool guy!

I have gone to Cory for the last year or more whenever my bicycle needed repair. He has been helpful. Fair pricing, great value. When I had trouble putting my new tires on he gave me a complete lesson on the best way to change the tire for a small fee. He did a great job changing out and upgrading my gearing. Overall he is both thoughtful and supportive in getting me out riding independently with proper knowledge for being on the road.

Cory instructed us through a dual tune up class- cant say enough about how great our experience was. Both of us felt empowered the whole time, informed fully and in laymans terms of what was going on with our bikes, and were given all the tools and kindness that we needed throughout the whole process.I considered myself amateur with bike maintenance issues on my own in the past, but this was so informative and thorough without being overwhelming. Cory was casual and we really appreciated his openness and willingness to teach. We also really liked his Tunes. I would highly recommend him for any bike repair or knowledge that you want to obtain!Keep up the good work, Cory!

Cory was a terrific guide to our dual-lesson. There was an initial assessment meeting, where he examined the current condition of the bikes and gave his best recommendation for parts to upgrade. Then, during the actual lesson, he led us through every step of the bike tune-up process, including cleaning, truing wheels, aligning brakes, and more. Afterwards, my bike felt clean, incredibly sturdy, and a joy to ride. Ive never felt more empowered to self assess and trouble shoot issues in the future. Thanks School of Bike!

Cory has been helping me with my Trek road bike for a couple of years. Hes honest, timely and reasonable. He probably could have sold me a new bike, but recommended some simple changes that made my riding experience far more enjoyable. Highly recommend Cory for your bicycling needs.

There arent many places left with owners like Cory. This place is a hidden gem. I tuned up a bike and then was so impressed that I returned to buy one from him a day later. He is so resourceful and his approach thoughtful which leaves you knowing so much more. Fitting for a bike is great too, Cory takes the time to understand you and your riding goals and then sends you on test runs of various types to make sure the fit and type will work for you. He has also been great for follow up afterwards. I cant recommend this place enough or give it more stars. ++++++++++

Cory is the man in this one man operation. Hes very knowledgeable and hardworking, albeit a touch on the socially awkward side. He is more apt to tell you than to discuss with you; but in the end he knows his stuff.

This was an incredible, priceless experience. Cory took the time to teach my partner and I the ins and outs of tuning our bikes. He walked us through the entire process from beginning to end in a thoughtful and personal environment. He taught us how to avoid issues in the future, how to troubleshoot and look for signs that could cost us some serious dough if things went wrong. This seems counter intuitive to a business that would profit from teaching someone these things, but he gained two lifelong customers. Well be back for our bicycling needs for the future. Thanks Cory!

I took a bicycle maintenance class with Cory. He prefers to work one-on-one, and does classes at what I find to be a very reasonable price. At the time, it was three hours of instruction, a manual on how to do a tune-up, and one hour of workshop time (i.e. using his shop and tools to work independently on my bike), all for a price just above what you might pay for a tuneup. He tailored the class to my level. I knew next to nothing about bicycle maintenance, but Cory walked me through each step of the tuneup. His approach to teaching is hands-on: I was the one fixing my bike, so I remember how it all works. At the end of the class, my bike was at top performance. I feel like I have a solid understanding of basic maintenance, and Im still using these skills today. Why pay someone else to fix your bike when you can learn to do it yourself? His selection of bike gear and accessories is small, but well curated. Ive bought a headlight, helmet, road pump, basic maintenance tool kit, lubricants, brake pads, citrus degreaser, and a used front wheel from him, and theyre all GREAT. I often feel anxious when buying bicycle gear because I dont know much about it. You can buy gear online for cheap, but you dont know what youre getting until its delivered. On the other hand, Cory gives a rundown of how the gear works, pros/cons/alternatives. He makes sure you get the right product and that you know what youre buying. When I bought a helmet, he adjusted it to make sure it was a good fit for me. When I bought a pump, Cory showed me how to use the valve adapter, which is well-designed, but wouldnt have been immediately clear to me if he hadnt showed me. Cory offers a unique, high-quality service that I havent found anywhere else. He goes out of his way to make sure you have a great experience. Go to School of Bike.
