Scott really went above and beyond for my 1980 Westfalia. Fast and friendly! Can’t ask for more. :)
Vanagon specialists, freindly and fast service
Dan & Co. at Louis has been serving my family for 40+ years. Honest service and welcoming attitudes. I took my 78 rabbit here Dec. 2018, having little time to work on it myself, and he took care of everything I needed done without fixing items I didn’t ask for. Great small business!
They gave me a call back when someone was available. employees stayed longer at the shop to help me. Employees were very dedicated to try to figure out the situations problem very kind
I highly recommend Dan and his crew. I took my Westy to these guys to fix an issue with my coolant system and they got it done the same day which I wasnt expecting and they fixed the problem with no issues. They are friendly, professional and they have my trust now so Ill continue to us them. Thanks Dan, I appreciate you guys doing great work for me 👍🏻👍🏻
Best service received by far! Mechanic took the time to exain to me what was wrong with my VW and why. Gave me an estimate and didnt inflate at the end. HIGHLY recommend Louis Foriegn Auto Repair!
This is an honest shop that does great work.I had a 1995 2.5L Eurovan Camper. Just sold it about a week ago but Im finally getting around to leaving this review that Dan and his shop hand earned.I had my van in a few of the better known shops around the Seattle area and always felt like the money I paid wasnt worth it. I was lucky enough to have a neighbor share Dans contact info with me. The neighbor has taken his Vanagon there for over a decade.Anyway, this is one of the few places I trusted did only what needed to be done and let me know what I should look at in the future. The repairs they made always worked well. I trust them. And that is worth a lot. Thanks Dan
Helped us out last minute without hesitation as we were driving through town and needed our 87 westfalia looked at. Scott was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and very fairly priced. Would definitely recommend
This is an amazing shop. Dan is remarkably skilled, efficient, and honest. He rebuilt the front end of my Audi A6 and when all was said and done, provided me with a time-lapsed recording of the rebuild to the tune of Benny Hill. Hilarious, and fantastic workmanship.
They know Vanagons really well, and do the work you need and nothing you dont ask for. Perfect.
I called for Honda and they said no; Apparently only Volkswagen and Audi repairs
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I am thrilled about how great my vanagon is running now after Dan worked on it. Its a whole new machine. Love it!!
Very helpful . Thank you Dan Ill be seeing you again
This shop was contracted for timing belt replacement on 2009 VW. They charged for full services (more than dealership) but only did part of the job. When following up why is check engine light still on, deflected blame to crank and cam sensor. After both were replaced and still check engine light was on, told me to go back to dealer because it must be recall, not their timing belt work. Dealer repair shop tells me no, they did half of job. They took $1800 parts & labor and refuse to even look at car. Such crooks. Lazy, zero integrity, liars and thieves
Dan is amazing and wont rip you off. I fully trust the staff here to take care of my jetta
Great Service- the check engine light came on in our Jetta and he looked at it for free, talked us through the problem and what needed to happen to fix it. Appreciate the time you took with us- when we are ready to make the repair we will certainly bring it here!
The best place to have your Vanagon worked onDan knows everything about VW Vanagons. I always take my 1988 Vanagon to him to work on it.
I brought my volkswagen in based off a recommendation and these Google reviews. I paid $1300 to get it fixed based on the recommendations that were made. My car is still have the same issue and when I brought it back in theyre planning to charge me another diagnostic fee as well as what theyre guessing will be $2600 worth of work. Any other shop would at least waive a diagnostic fee when someone is bringing a car back in for work that wasnt satisfactory.
