Well. I walked in. And the counter person said nothing to acknowledge my presence. So I stood in front of the counter for approximately 10 minutes before eventually acknowledging me. At that point her interactions seemed laborious. Like simply talking was asking too much. So it wasnt the most unpleasant Ive ever experienced. But its difficult to be patient when youre just standing there and the person youre interacting with barely talks. Or even acknowledges that youre there.

My brother and I are downsizing from a 4 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom apartment. Needless to say it involves a lot of planning on the proper stuff that you are going to need to pack all the items you have correctly. When I walked into this store I was greeted by a Young Lady named Ashley that was so nice, she made the trip a pleasure! I explained to her everything I had to move and my concern on packing it properly to prevent damaging anything. She spent so much time showing what was the best way to pick the right manner in both packing and protecting everything I was concerned about. That being said, if you are moving and have to purchase the best stuff to make your move a successful one, I strongly recommend that you choose this U-Haul store to go get what you need and ask for Ashley. You will be very glad that you did!

Ok pick up day should have been the warning - had to stand there and wait while the guy behind the counter was talking on the phone. No problem but at least acknowledge that you have a customer. After an extended wait we got the truck. Now we are here waiting to turn it in. It has been over an hour. This place is the slowest place I have ever used and will not be back. I will rent from a place that values customers and has the skill to get people through without extensive waits.

Nice clean trucks. I would give 5 stars but they are clearly short handed, so it takes a lot longer to do pickups than it should. Expect a long wait on Saturday mornings since they only had 1 person working at the counters with 6 of us scheduled for pickup st the same time. Made us run late as we left Uhaul 40 minutes after our scheduled pickup even though we arrived early.

Will never rent from here ever again. They charged me an extra $20 dollars for leaving a car trailer exactly where they told me to. I would have been more than happy to park anywhere else even put it back where they go. Very deceptive personnel only had me park it there so that they could charge the extra fee. I bought a car trailer after this visit. And will never rent from uhaul ever again. Would not recommend it to my worst enemy. USE PENSKEE OR YOUR NEIGHBORS TRUCK SAVE THE HASSLE!!!

I rented a truck from this location last weekend for a quick furniture move from across town. Friendly and quick service, no complaints at all, typical truck rental transaction.My real reason for specifically going online just to review this location was my experience today. To make a long story short, a shipping company, which shall remain nameless, was trying to charge me an exorbitant price in order to repackage an order I needed returned through them, due to the flaps of the box coming off when opening it. I came to this U-Haul location in order to try and find a cheaper box that I could use to repackage the item myself. Not only did the owner and another associate Charles or Charlie (I believe one of those was his name. Sorry for forgetting if you read this, it has been a long Friday.) helped me try and find the boxes that would suit my needs, but also assisted me in basically rebuilding a box out of the old and new one in the lobby of this location and do the same for a smaller package, all well under the shipping companys quoted price for ONE BOX.I really appreciated the assistance today, and definitely hope that customer service like this is recognized. Thank you again!

The staff is friendly and loves to help they take the extra mile and doing so. I had a question regarding to you alls that I wanted to rent and they went out of their way even though they werent behind the counter cuz I saw them outside they were working hard and doing whatever they were doing they stopped just to help me. They deserve plus raises in my opinion

I recently moved and decided to try out this Uhaul because it’s a convenient location. I showed up as they opened and was able to get a nice truck without issues.Ashley greeted me at the door and took care of me immediately. She was incredibly professional and even provided solutions that helped me stay on schedule.I definitely recommend using this Uhaul location to guarantee you have everything you need for those hectic moving days. Just ask for Ashley, she’s amazing!

I needed a moving truck for my office move and made a reservation online for this location. When I got there, I was informed that the truck size I reserved wasnt available but they gave me some other options that worked out. I gotta give extra kudos to Ashley - she provided me with excellent customer service and went above & beyond when I had an issue with the final bill. Hopefully I never have to move anything ever again because moving is the worst but if I do, Ill go to this location for the awesome customer service.

Worst experience ever at u-haul. We tried to pickup truck using online check-in. Got a truck which is parked behind another truck. Checked with store representative and she provided a different rental with a code to unlock which is not working. We have waited nearly 40 mins outside and no use they make us to wait in chilled cold weather. After that response from the store representative was in a rude way. We cancelled the rental and probably won’t be visiting this location ever even not recommended to anyone.

I cannot remember being treated so poorly by any company. The details are too lengthy for this, but I strongly recommend renting from someone other than Uhaul, but if you are stuck with them rent and return from a different Uhaul location.

They are absolutely amazing here, Della the manager is on point with her knowledge and is super friendly. I always rent from her and have had a storage unit with her for 3 years I refuse to go anywhere else!!

Rented a Cargo Van here and the sales guy Mario was super friendly. But that is where the positives stop.I thought I took good pictures when I picked it up of damage but this location will nickel and dime you for everything.The rubber cargo mat in the back of the van, that is scuffed and torn up is apparently a part the van be damaged. I was smart and paid the $10 for insurance, but a small 2 inch tear on the end of the mat is a $96 deductible.The windshield I didn’t take any close up pictures of the windshield, but I should have because there was also apparently a small chip in windshield the size of a dime, and that is another $45 deductible charge. I don’t even know how that is possible because in the state of Florida, your insurance is not allowed to charge you for a windshield crack fix or replacement.So my 6 hour in town rental cost me $278.48. You are better going to rent a truck at a car rental place. I will never rent here again!Just so no one else gets taken like me, it is apparently the renters responsibility to prove there was no damage when you took the car. Even if you renturned it perfectly, U-HAUL could damage the car and then charge you. It will be on you too prove you didn’t cause the damage. So if you are forced to rent here, make sure you take a full photo album of the car your rent.

When I moved IDella sized up the right storage unit I needed (Perfect) and help me select movers to move my stuff from a POD to the unit. When I move out IDella again help me get the right truck size and select a great moving crew. If I wasnt working full time Id apply for a job to work for her....!!!

Im the owner of a local moving company. I use uhaul several times a week. In 3 years never had a problem with them. Sure, Ive had trucks with no AC, ones that make suspicious noises, and trucks where the alignment is so off the steering wheel is upside down. With that said, Ive never had a problem that required me to call.I called because the cab filled up with smoke as soon as I got on the highway. The smoke was coming from the ac vents. I shut the ac off and continued but you could still smell Freon all day long. Which caused one of my employees to leave the job early from him receiving headaches. I called customer service and notified them about the problem. The following day a gentleman called me and said, He noticed the AC isnt working and did notice a smell but because I had the truck for most of the day they wouldnt refund me. I said that disappointing since the truck cost me money. He said he wasnt aware I had an employee walk off so he would speak to his manager. 8 days later I finally spoke to the manager and she tells me that she personally drove the vehicle and nothing is wrong with it. The AC works and there is no smell. I explained that a rep from her location called and confirmed the ac didnt work and that he also smelled something but he didnt see smoke. I explained to him and the manager that it only smoked once on the highway.So after 3 years of renting trucks and not one customer service call I was told in a polite way that Im either lying or crazy.Solution - My attorney instructed me to have my employee go to the Dr. for the headache he experienced and now he is handling the situation.I spent 30k in Truck rentals with Uhaul in 2019 and they lost a customer over handling a $80 truck rental. Told the woman that the nearest drop off location was less than 5 minutes away from my Families home, right across the street. Instead she set the location 12 minutes away. ??? Incredibly inconvinient and makes no sense. Couldnt pick them up and had to get an Uber.

NOT THIS LOCATION. GO ELSEWHERE. They have a wide variety of cars HOWEVER:1. Their service is super slow.... so slow that after leaving their location I had to go to the barber again.2. Even though they have a large fleet, they gave me a damaged TRUCK. When I complained about the damage and asked for another truck, they made a million excuses as to why it was okay for me to take the so called truck.3. I was renting a truck so that I could transport tiles home. The manager flat out denied to rent me the truck if I was hauling tiles! Why would I want to rent a truck otherwise????? I had to lie to get the truck (Only at this location!). I would have gone somewhere else if time wasnt a factor for me.!

This was the worst experience i’ve ever had. my sister and i were trying to haul a couch from orange city to sanford. and this location is right by my apartment, so we rented a truck from there, but, my sister and i are new to the whole “renting a truck” situation. so we needed some help. well the man who helped us at this location, his name was mike, was no help WHATSOEVER. we walked in and was halfway done with another gentleman, before mike walked up and said he would take over. okay not a problem. but then, that’s when everything went wrong. i kept asking questions because, again, i am new at this and needed a little bit of guidance. he just kept saying “praise the lord”, “god is good” and was making fun of my sister and me for what we didn’t know. additionally, he would huff, and mumble things under his breath. we had NEVER rented a truck before, and wasn’t really sure what their protocol was. i kept asking questions and he would mumble some answer that didn’t even make sense, and then again say “god is good”. and look, i get it. you’re a christian and you love god. but it’s not appropriate to say over and over again in your place of work. i felt very uncomfortable every time he said it. and he would say it about every 30 seconds. he then, wouldn’t let us rent the truck because all we had was cash, and we didn’t want to use our bank cards. finally, after some more frustrations and “god is good” we took ourselves to the bank to drop off money in our accounts. but by then we decided to just use another location closer to the location of the couch and had a much better time there. i really don’t recommend this place at all. just go to another one.

Best storage unit ive had. The guy that helped me was awesome! He let me use the bathroom, didnt rush me on making a choice, and showed me all the units i wanted to see. I told my wife you can eat off the floor in this place! And the security is top notch! Thanks for running a business the right way!

Best experience I’ve ever had while renting a storage space and uhaul in my life.I’ve used uhaul in the past but my experience was just as I expected, basic like just another customer.The manager (Idelle Burrows) at 1811 Rinehart rd in Sanford Fl made my experience a great one, unforgettable and so pleasant to look back on.When I say her and her staff are well trained, it’s a understatement.I had so much going on while I prepared for my move overseas move.Every step of the way I could count on this location having everything I needed from tape, boxes, bubble wrap literally everything.I used the referred moving company and that was also an amazing experience, I was doing everything on my own and definitely couldn’t have moved all the big items.The Refered moving company was not nearly as expensive as I anticipated, and the men worked hard and fast. Totally worth using them and not asking friends for help where your things usually get broken anyway.The uhaul is so clean and well ran, I’m still in shock at how wonderful of an experience it was.I can’t stress this enough. If your in need of a storage space or to rent a uhaul Don’t waste your time going anywhere else.They showed me so much compassion with my unique situation. They went above and beyond to help me take care of everything.Oddly I felt like they were my friends and like it wasn’t their job the way the were willing to make things easier for me.Their attitudes were pleasant and professional. They know what they’re doing and do it with grace.As I sat back and watched the way all the customers were treated I realized that it was just the way they run their store.I felt special and that’s the way each and every person was made to feel as well.It truly was a great experience.Moving made much easier with less stress.Trust me it’s not the same dealing with others companies.Other places even some other locations really don’t care about whatever you have going on.They don’t do anything to make it easier for you and definitely not clean with all the moving accessories that you’ll need.When I come back to America I’m literally taking Idelle a gift card and some snacks for her staff for extending so much of themselves to me and literally saying it’s just their job.Well done to these people for putting their all in everyday just to make other people’s lives easier.1000 stars 💫✨🌟⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had to rent a large trailer to carry a golf cart and a scooter. The male employee was very helpful and was knowledgeable and hooking up this trailer to my vehicle. The process was quick and easy renting and returning this vehicle

My husband and I got there at 7:05 pm. We didnt know the store closed at 7:00. When James saw us he came to the door and let us in to purchase the boxes we desperately needed. He was so kind. He helped us find the sizes we needed and even assisted us in carrying the boxes to our car. James went above and beyond for us and we are thankful for him and the kindness he showed us.

I live 2 hours and 36 minutes away from location. I rented a truck on 7/30/16 with the fuel level under the required level to rent it out. The young lady whom rented the truck to me gave me a $35 and some change credit. I return the truck after hours, so I could not finalize the contract. I woke up the morning of 7/31/16 to see an email from U-Haul. They altered the credit from $35 and some change to $26.13 with out contacting me. I immediately contacted the location. After being on hold the first time for about 10 minutes and the call was lost. I called back for a second time and a very rude and ignorant employee by the name of Margaret answered the call. She didnt want to put a manager on the phone. Her tone of voice over the phone was like if she didnt want to deal with me over the phone or didnt like her job. I will personally will drive the extra miles to rent from another nearby location the next time. U-Haul does not need people like this working for them and giving them a bad reputation.

Its clean. No bugs. No rodents. Elevators and carts. The music in the background makes the environment pleasant when you need to plan a Saturday organizing Christmas supplies. A little costly, and the prices went up twice.

Rental agents are great to work with. In and out for a local move. All good.

I rented a 10ft truck for 5 or 6 hrs and was charged 220.00, that is flat out robbery. Stay away from this place, dont make the same mistake I did...

Needed a utility trailer today and stopped in. First uhaul Ive been to inawhile where the staff was awesome. Super friendly and extremely helpful.

I was indeed shocked when a family member called me about a payment on my storage unit that was 5 days late (which I had simply forgotten). Apparently, if you are a few days late with the rent, this location will send a letter to your emergency contact and inform them of your delinquency. This practice is not only rude and unnecessary but is bad for customer relationships - I will be moving to another facility immediately.

I reserved a truck rental in advance and when I got there, it was over an hour wait in the lobby, then the person in the lobby screwed up my contract twice even though it should have already been done, AND THEN they couldnt figure out how to take a credit card payment so I had to leave, go to an ATM, get cash, and come back. On top of that, I had to give them at least $100 as a deposit or I couldnt rent. HUGE waste of my time, and set me back HOURS on moving day. Worst organized business Ive ever seen, and I cant believe theyre still in business.

We started the rental process online and had indicated that we did not want insurance. However, we finished the rental at the store with the employee who charged to us without our knowledge or approval. When we returned the truck and discovered that we had been charged, we were told that it was too late to say no. Very disappointing!!
