I was really excited to try the Dandelion chocolate mocha, but was let down. No decaf espresso. The mocha they tried to make with decaf drip coffee was really bad even after I asked for more chocolate to be added. I ended up throwing it out, and I have never thrown out a drink before. Pandan waffle was good though.

This is my favorite place in the south bay to get coffee. Fantastic service, delectable coffee and a banh mi to die for. The Nutella toast with bananas is also another favorite. I cant say enough nice things! Coming here to work and drink coffee is a great day :^)

Recently opened where Starbucks once was. Super-friendly staff. Short coffee menu though good tasting coffee. Good food treats - especially the Ube and Matcha cakes. Busy parking lot so be prepared to park a bit far - but its worth the walk! ☕🙂

Friendly staff and great drinks! One of the best Mochas around. Quality ingredients and a love for the craft really do make a difference. We also got the Mango Wango Tea. Very refreshing drink on a hot day. Happy to have a quality coffee shop in the South Bay Area. Definitely coming back when we’re in the area.

Delicious iced coffee, oat milk lattes are so creamy, the tofu Bánh mì was my favorite thing to have for lunch. I moved from San Jose last year and miss the wonderful staff, they were so welcoming. Can’t wait to get my vaccine so i can go back to the bay and visit them again!

Very expensive for a small (only one size available) mocha. Staff is not very friendly and the mocha was not very good. Ill stick with Petes coffee or Starbucks for now.

I usually go to work early so I went to this coffee shop for some morning run. I was really awed with this place because of how the quality of service the staff catered to their customers, above all, their coffee and their pastry products were out of this world!

The latte costs $5 but it was a surprisingly good coffee. The seating space is limited (right now) as there are only 3 small tables outside and they are all taken.

The freshly baked pieces of bread, pies, and cakes from here were so delicious and affordable. The place is a bit tiny, but it can accommodate a bunch of people. Their coffee is so good and very affordable! They also have a menu so that you can pair it up to your coffee. A must visit!

Nice to see a coffee shop pop up in south San Jose that serves up quality, specialty coffee! Im not in the area often, but I happened to stumble across this place by chance after lookin up places to try and get my morning fix. Located in the Almaden Plaza, you can expect parking to be hectic with Costco/Trader Joes as the stores neighbors, but oh well. Shop has a sleek industrial, mid-century modern finish, fairly spacious, free wifi, and a nice instragmmable wall: to let all youre followers know that coffee is quintessential to your life lolSpectra sources coffee/pastries/ingredients from some great quality places. Roaster used is Sightglass from SF (one of my favorites in the Bay) and Third Culture from Berkeley for their mochi pastries (not a big fan of their donuts, but I am all about the muffins!). They even use Dandelion chocolate (small batch chocolatier from SF) in their mochas, which I was a big fan of because it wasnt really sweet, but had that fresh cacao flavor; absolutely delicious! In-house, they also make their own pandan waffles and avocado toast; will look to try those on my next visit!Staff here are also very friendly; no complaints at all about customer service, which tends to sometimes be a problem for new places as they workout some kinks. Overall a great, new coffee shop; this place is definitely gonna do well!

Okay, I visit plenty of coffee places. They are my favorite place to get work done. Having said that, I’ve had lots of coffee drinking experiences. Spectra, you guys are top 3! I had a latte and a macchiato. I don’t think I’ve ever tasted coffee like that before. So rich yet smooth and tasty. I can’t wait to be in San Jose again to get some coffee and try your other coffee items. I highly recommend!

20 minutes for drip coffee. I know the joke is on me, but I decided to try and be patient. When I told them that they should at least tell the customer that they had no drip coffee made and it would take twice as long to make because I ordered decaf and regular, and they use the same machine to make both, they told me, if you want it quicker, you should use the app. I dont have a crystal ball, but Id say to get your coffee here soon, because I cant imagine this place is going to last too much longer.

Great cappuccino with the right amount of milk/foam and the mini quiche was delicious! The service was wonderful too!

Family really enjoyed this new spot! The vanilla bean lattes are amazing. All of the toast options were perfect! We had the avocado toast, Nutella toast, and ricotta toast. All three were devoured!We will definitely be back here often. Highly recommended!!

Staff was very friendly! Had a vanilla bean latte with oatmilk one of my favorites! Also their take on Vietnamese coffee- All nighter is strong but true to its name for all my coffee lovers out there.The location is very busy, its a bit hard to find parking depending on the time you stop by. But its most definitely worth it.

I thought it would be a nice place but their coffees and teas are overpriced and have no flavor and the ones that do taste horrible. Their service also isn’t the best because they messed up my order like a couple times. Overall environment isn’t as well constructed and the fact that it closes at 7 pm just makes worse than any other coffee shop. I don’t recommend this place unless your into coffee that has no flavor.
