One of the best ambiance I must say. Other than that I love Mocha most, a must try coffee. There are various delicious small cakes out there. Croissant and Avocado toast are ones I would recommend to try with coffee. It also offers some herbal tea π΅ as well.If you are coffee person then you should visit this place βοΈ.
My friend and I came here for breakfast today. Indoor seating is not allowed but they have a few umbrellas with tables outside. I ordered the banana walnut honey bread with an iced lavender latte - though delicious, the latte did not have a lavender flavor, but the honey bread was really good without a ton of sweetness. My friend ordered an iced vanilla latte, a mushroom & cheese croissant and banana whipped cream waffle. I tried his croissant and waffle - the croissant was quite flavorful with a balsamic taste and the waffle was pretty sweet and slightly crunchy. The staff were friendly and it was a yummy breakfast.
Extremely unhappy... And in the wind and sprinklesπ¦οΈWe were forced to sit outside on a ledge next to the signageπ€¬All the seats were taken by people on computers and none of them had any coffee or food in front of themMy coffee was lukewarm. My wifes matcha latte tasted watered down. The Earl grey cake was the only positive note.If I would have known I wouldnt have given a tip!I feel homeless eating on the curbOwners need to limit people from taking up seats for hours.
The ambience was excellent and the lattes were also good. We ordered lavender latte and hazelnut latte. Both were excellent. We went around 7pm and by that time they said they were only doing takeout drinks and we couldnt drink in their coffee mugs. Nevertheless the coffee was good.
Definitely try the mocha frappe here. Its absolutely divine and I definitely recommend it. For take outs give extra time because service is on the slower side. But totally worth the wait :) .. we love this place.
Its not bad for our local coffee shop, but coffee could be better. it depends on who is working that day, sometimes its good and sometimes its undrinkable, so maybe do some trainings for baristas to improve their skills? cakes are fine!
Visited this cozy cafe for afternoon coffee. Loved the coffee. Definitely gonna see if they sell their ground coffee so that I can buy the packs next time around.
Very tasty and friendly. The prices are a bit too high, but the quality and service are both excellent.
Great coffees. The napoleon cake is flaky but a bit soft and not crispy.
Red Velvet Latte was amazing! Prep time was about 15 min wait since this cafe bene was understaffed. Hopefully, baristas and cashiers are hired, so that at least 2 people take care of the order and prep.
Came here to get a mocha with the espresso on the side. One worker there made my drink promptly. The espresso is smooth. Chocolate part was good π
Convenient location of the cafe just in front of the Cisco offices in Tasman. I have seen so many people working from the cafe here. Lots of coffee options here as well as desserts.
Prices super high for coffee.. good coffee but not paying 8$ for 16oz coffee
A nice coffee place where I found my new favorite drink: red velvet latte! They sell Satura cakes and pastries which is one of my favorites in the Bay Area!
Very cozy, but not very tasty or healthy place - waffles are so sugary I barely can eat them. Same for chai latte - too sweet and doesnt feel real. Last time I tried tea and it seemed like it had flavors added (even natural flavors could be quite artificial is USA). If this place would switch to healthy menu - no sugar waffle option, in-house brewed chai-latte, no ingredients with natural or artificial flavors, it would be a nice place.
This is a beautiful coffee place that I visit atleast twice a month. This place has delicious pastries..
HelloI was at place yesterday and itβs a very nice and clean with a good coffee and dessert. However an incident happened when one insane women approached our table. She ruined the dessert and intimidated us. We let the baristas whatβs happening and we are not safe to come back. As the gesture they replaced the dessert and didnβt offer free coffe for inconvenience which they should. Customers safety is priority and they should act much differently.
First time here! This place is around alot of companies so you might find the office crowd and students doing homework. Its a quiet, aptly decorated cafe and nice for a weekday pick me up. We just shared a cappuccino and some delicious salty chocolate biscuits. Most of their espresso drinks run at about $5.
Nice small cool cafe with a nice variety of options and lots of seating place to work from.
Good atmosphere, decent options. Cappuccino tasted just how it should. Will visit again.
Nice ambiance! Good food and coffee selections.
Very slow service, just one guy doing the billing and preparing, took 10 mins to get a fresh brew coffee (literally to just to pour it in a cup)
Pretty nice coffee shop in North San Jose. During the weekend daytime, this place is super-full and itβs sometime difficult to get seats inside. There are a couple of tables outside which also get filled up quite often as well. However, the prices are a little bit expensive than the usual coffee shops in the area. The cups and mugs that they use for the beverages are nice and fancy π
Great place to hang out over a cup of coffee or tea. Also, they serve tasty sandwiches to satisfy your hunger!! Strongly recommend for everyone! This is one of the best cafes around with excellent coffee and foods. This time, I tried their new addition to the coffee menu, hazlut latte! As expected, the taste was a perfect mix of aromatic hazlut flavor with premium coffee along with super smooth milk foam on top! They truly perfected this recipe compared to many other places Ive tried including Peets. Greatly appreciated that they have put due efforts to design this coffee up to this level of taste! Im already seeing myself stopping by this place again and again. Id strongly recommend everyone to try to share the joy I had with this latte!
A neat little spot that feels sorta off the main path though its in a very central spot. The staff are very nice (and very handsome). They have a variety of food and drinks and people seem to hang out here for a while. The sparkling drinks are so sparkly π€©Parking garage is big and super convenient.
Very cozy place with outstanding coffee. And a barista always knows your regular choice of drinks.
They donβt have half & half for coffee. For me half & half is the magic that makes coffee work.
Friendly staff, good atmosphere (will be even better post-pandemic when seating opens up - a nice place in general to hangout), and good food/coffee. Itβs a tad pricey compared with other coffee places, but its location is great for the apartments close by.They also sell Satura cakes, which is really nice.
Arrived right at opening and was greeted quickly. What a clean and quaint cafe atmosphere that offers a menu that extends beyond your traditional American cafe menu. Extensive collection of teas, tea latte, as well as traditional coffee drinks. Highly recommend the βmisugaruβ drink - a korean pats and grains drink thatβs guaranteed to feel like youβre drinking a cup of warm flavorful cereal. Overall great atmosphere, and amazing menu that speaks to those who prefer cafe options other than traditional American drinks!
Great service, tastey treats, a little pricey
5/5 customer service5/5 friendliness3.5-4/5 value/cost because for 5.95 basically $6 they could have filled the cup up more. I donβt mind spending but a $6 drink should feel like the money spent or change the lid so that thereβs not a lot of space left5/5 flavor Amazing flavor!5/5 cute sign with nice interior and outside seatingWow.......So this legit tastes like a Mojito omgggg. The flavor is soo good and I didnβt expect a bunch of sliced mango pieces on the bottom but it was a nice surprise. The drink looks so pretty and tastes so good. Like the slices of lime and topped with mint to make it feel like a real Mojito. I def will return for another or even to try the strawberry Mojito. I just hope with that price they actually fill it up to the top or as much as possible. The cashier was super nice and friendly and greeted me with w warm voice and smile. It was a nice day so I waited outside in the sun and someone brought out to me. With a cute large straw and a napkin- so kind. I finished my drink in minutes and couldnβt stop drinking. The outside is super cute and has bright colors with outside seating just a few chairs and tables that receive good sun. Iβm still impressed at the flavors in this and how this tastes like a real Mojito with fruit at the bottom. Super yum. I drank mine super fast and wished I had another. Will return!
We used to go to Caffe Bene in Boston, and I am trilled to know that they have one here in San Jose when we moved to the bay. The same mango mojito refresh drink that I like. We also had a strawberry cream honey cake this time, which is also pretty good. Nice place to meet friends and have an afternoon tea chill.
Ordered croissant which was still partially frozen on the inside suggesting it was reheated. Prices seem pretty high for what you get.
Perfect place to WFCoffeeShop. :)
Great place to just relax and read a book but I felt that the items where bit pricy. I would come here on a date but not everyday as it would be really expensive. I must say they have good menu so itβs worth exploring! Variety of desserts and great βοΈ
Very disappointed with the taste of the roast!
Love this place. It has a wooden-ish interior with really pretty lights which makes a good ambience. Best is the seating next to the windows. They serve the best ever matcha latte here with substitutes for normal milk. They have really good desserts too, Ive tried the mango pudding and the caffe noix.
Really lovely place to grab some caffeine or work for a few hours! I used to visit the locations in OC and the environment/pleasant aesthetic is very consistent.I had an iced matcha with soy and wasnt used to the type of matcha they use here -- its more earthy and bitter than sweet and creamy! I also mostly tasted soy milk the first time around but the barista was kind enough to remake my drink with regular milk and extra matcha.Thank you for the wonderful service :)Great option in north SJ to study, relax, or meet with a friend and share some desserts together.
Great place with superb coffee. Try the different lattes they have to offer. The mushroom spinach croissant was delicious.
Great little find in the middle of San Jose by the Cisco campus. Difficult to guess that the place is so nice on the inside from the outside. From the outside it looks like a typical suburban coffee place butt the interiors are really well done. Theres lots of open seating with place to work or just chill. Very open, airy and well lit welcoming place. They have really good coffee and I hear the desserts are worth a try too
The lavender latte didnt taste good and expensive
Nice and cozy coffee place but little heavy on the pocket though! π
Nice place to relax between customer visit. Patty look really nice. I had a Liege waffle... Nearly as good as the one you can get in the original town. I highly recommend to try it, use the plain version to really taste it a cup of coffee is really a good addition.
Good coffee, Bit expensive but have the right beans
Great drink selections. I usually prefer the milk teas since theyre light. Comfortable atmosphere for studying and working. Gets busy after 1pm on the weekends so if you want a seat make sure to get there before that. Electrical outlets near certain locations only so come with your electronics charged.
Not much to offer and the prices are a bit high but its a nice place to grab a bite to eat. Clean quiet and well put together if I had to go back I would but there are other places with much better prices. All in all you will enjoy their service and food.
Was pleasantly surprised to discover pastries from Caffe Bene. Note to vegans, the donuts and muffins are vegan! Greatest vegan donut I Have had, and happy to have their pastries nearer to home. Costs were great and theyd day old muffins sitting out for free. I do not understand if that is a routine thing, but I expect so because it is a fantastic thought.
Loved the desserts here! The strawberry shortcake and the Tiramisu were delicious. This is easily one of the best cafes in bay area! Nice ambience with friendly staff.
I ordered afternoon snack and coffee/tea from catering menu for a small conference. Really like that they provide so many options (breakfast sandwiches or for coffee break), so you can order anything within the budget for different size of meetings. Order was placed for about 75-80 persons, I ended up placing an extra order as items were too popular. People told me it tasted really good, but I didnt expect them to fill up their plates, so ran out really quickly. =0 Id recommend to order extra cookies. Definitely will come back for other events as well as for fun!
Arrived at seven, it wasnt crowded. Definitely worth going back to. The bill was fair I would say. Menu is like a cafe in Indianapolis I liked.
Despite the cost of the drinks which are a little too high, my wife and I had a great experience at this place. The smoothies, particularly the avocado one, are amazing. We were there last weekend and my wife ordered a Mojito which she happened to love it. I highly recommend this cozy and top-quality place.
I usually never contribute and write about these sort of things. However, this coffee shop has a lively atmosphere. The Dessert selection is impeccable and rightly blended coffees makes this place a breezeβ to fall in love with. The staff members are extremely cordial.A nice and refreshing change from the local green machine.
Great clean place. Park in the back walk in the front quick like and your in for a treat had a Kenya pour over with almond croissant
Foods and drinks are all good. The atmosphere is fantastic for studying and working. Only the cake is a little bit pricey.
The matcha green tea latte was one of the best I have ever had. Loved hanging out outside with the dogs and the bf. Will be back! A sweet girl that worked there even came out to offer us ice and water for the fluffs- very nice!
Love the coffee here. Whenever I crave good coffee I always come here. Coffee is nice and smoothe and the atmosphere is nice. Its a good place to study. They have free wifi too. The only thing is that the chairs have no cushion so your tooshie will hurt after a little bit. Just bring your own cushion and get comfy.
Nice place with neat & clean service and tasty sandwiches
The place looks cute butI got tick bites and my mom also because of the wood wall, the shelves and cushions that can tell did not get cleaned for a while helped the tick and other tiny insects and bugs love in this place..... Iβm suffering from red rash a hand size on the back of my leg, where I sat .... hopefully, I can get treatment before the disease spread in my body...I searched about this bug, it could transfer a virel or bacteria from deer or mice.
They have a variety of coffee, tea, smoothies, sandwiches, and cakes! I like the taste for most of their drinks and food, however, I think everything here is on the pricer side. For a cup of iced tea (tea bag ones) is about $5, and their sandwiches are fairly small.
Going there once per week to pick up my cappuccino. Coffee taste varies depending on barista - sometimes super, sometimes so so. Overall nice place and deserts are tasty. The do not accept Apple Pay currently and it makes this place inconvenient for me
Super cute decor here with an extremely nice owner. We came here on a Friday night to check out this new boba spot. The interior is very welcoming, with cute touches here and there.
Great ambience, a bit loud in the afternoon but still a good place to study/work. Subpar service, and I wish the server could be more patient when I asked for drink advice and provide more accurate info about whats in the drink. Drinks are a bit overpriced, especially given the quality.
I love this place. Iβm here often. But at times I just see one person there to do everything. Especially at like 8 in the morning.Management please take a look into this. One hapless person getting called to place orders, make orders and handle a lot of impatient people.
Almond croissant was microwaved making chewy like a piece of leather. Vanilla latte was mehh, not enough vanilla, froth was decent.
Tasty coffee and food. Had lunch here. A bit on the smaller size and not easy to find sitting places as many ppl hang out and work there ...
So neat. Variety: appropriate. Had macaroons and vanilla bean frΓ ppΓ©. Quick service.
Good place. Generally full. But has good food options and nice coffee options too.
The smoothies and ice cream here is so good.
What coffee place opens at 8AM? Why can I only get espressos or lattes in one size? The pastries are good but this place will never get my business because it will never be open when I want coffee.
The service here is good. Drinks and desserts are beautiful and tasty.
Good yummy drinks and desserts that arent too sweet if you have more of a non sweet taste palette. Rlly cute.
Nice place to study with a lot of conveniences: many electrical outlets, free wifi, air conditioner, good snacks and drinks, quiet environment. However the sound of drinks blenders is so loud as airplane turbines. It may requires customers to bring a headphone/earphone if they want to stay here for long.
My friend and I ordered two single-shot espresso, then we were given two distinct shots. They may made one double-shot and then split it into two shots. as a result, one is full of crema while the other has no crema. Talking back to their coffee quality, bad.
I had a sandwich here and it was really good. The sandwich was hot and toasted. The side of spinach with balsamic vinegar was delicious.
