When the restroom is very dirty at opening time, you begin to question the cleanliness of the staff and the food and drinks they serve. This place is not sanitary, and for that, I wouldnt want to ingest the food and drink from here. Filthy, front and inside. No outlets--not a place to have early coffee and do some work.-5* for dirty toilet!Friday at 6 a.m.--1.5 hours from opening, the toilet is very dirty. First order of business is to ensure the cleanliness of the whole store and facilities.I couldnt use the toilet because there were many feces left in it. (Gasp!) I stepped out to fetch my phone to capture a photo of it, and when I went back in, they managed to take off the feces at the very least, but not clean the toilet altogether. In addition, there are no paper towels and 2 light bulbs need replacement (its dark--probably intentional, so you dont see clearly how filthy this room is!).-5* for dirty front and surroundings!1* for no power outlets. They covered them all--including the one in the restroom!1* for limited paid street parking.

This Starbucks is my favorite place to grab and afternoon pick me up when I’m dragging a bit. The service here is very quick, even when the line is long. All of the baristas that work here are friendly and very professional to interact with.

I work from home a lot but sometimes have to meet with clients (who I prefer keeping out of my home if possible), so I schedule my meetings for this Starbucks. There is almost always plenty of open seating and table space which makes sitting down face to face super easy!

Worst Starbucks!!! Ordered took forever even for just a single coffee, sandwich came faster. In addition, bathrooms were broken and I asked them where they go and they dont even know. What a lier. Wow. Worst ever.

I live just walking in this place. The smell is wonderful! Get a regular cup of coffee to drinks I cant pronounce. Lots of variety to choose from. Great light breakfast sandwiches and cakes to wonderfully sweet snakes. Right down the block from my new home and now my favorite neighborhood joint.

This has always been a favorite location of mine. The staff is friendly and quick to slang the drinks.

Unfortunately, this Starbucks will be closing, effective November 2, 2020.

Normal Starbucks coffee, right down town. Could use better seating layout or have more then one tall table but its smallish, so I get it. 🤙

Starbucks has a great brand and product, but prices have gone up tremendously. I can generally find better coffee around town for less $$. When I travel, I can usually find local small business coffee shops with excellent coffee for less money. Starbucks still a good backup!

They got my order wrong twice,didnt call my name to announce that my drinks were ready and had a I dont care attitude about it. Theres not enough tables and theres no charging outlets. Bad place to hang out and enjoy your cup of coffee...

Quiet peaceful topper for a hectic day. But fair warning if, you want a blonde pour-over, make sure to specify only 2 scoops of coffee or, youre going to get coffee strong enough to walk to the cup on its own. 😉

A true oasis in the desert that is the summer. A/C, cold drinks and a delightful staff ready to make things as quickly as humanly possible. I am so impressed with how fast their online orders are filled. A good place for small meetings and one-on-one catch-up convos.

This was a very pleasant& clean establishment. Plenty of seating if I wanted to sit. The staff was pleasant informative and labeled my drink and food correctly.However, several items of food in the display case did not have labels

Starbucks is a place where you get coffee wrapped in a great gift wrapper. They professional outlook the store has is a good reason why I visit them often. Free Internet and a service with smile is all we could want !

Great customer service and cool atmosphere. Quaint n size but because of the location and there being another around the corner it makes sense.

Very dirty store. 3 of 4 employees not wearing hats (twice were making drinks). Lobby hasn’t been swept. Food case empty. Empty menu boards. Pretty disappointing experience.

This location is really nice. Baristas are fun and welcoming. This store has an array of products for purchase.

Great place. We went, it was very clean, well staffed and the service was great. Even though the barista that was making my drink was new, she made sure to ask her trainer questions which I appreciated. My drink: venti iced white mocha with breve and ristretto is not the easiest thing, but it was delicious. I would definitely come to this location again.

Im from out of state and I couldnt find a bathroom for miles. I was in emergency mode and a panic attack. Staff was very kind and served me calmly through my order and swiftly made it to the restroom in time.Scary and cruel neighborhood, though. Dont go alone.

By far the friendliest staff. they are helpful and will do anything to put a smile on your face. If you are in the area go to that Starbucks before any else.

Large indoor area to sit. Barista was knowledgeable. And their iced venti black coffee was excellent with the sugar in the raw packets that were available to their customers along with the absolute freshest creamer.

Stop by last week and as usual and My favorite breakfast at Starbucks is Double smoked bacon, with latte and chocolate and croissant warm up . They are fast and efficient

I like Starbucks drinks. Not as much as Peets; nonetheless, they serve good quality products. What I dont like is the wait. Nearly all locations I drop in are understaffed. Regardless of how few customers are being served, theres always a long wait. Two customers ahead of me and I still end up waiting as long as 20 minutes.Terribly inefficient system.

This starbucks is on santa clara street. In san jose there was a pungent odor of cat piss or cat spray(a male cat) really strong smell!?

The following is a copied complaint Ive already sent to corporate headquarters after my experience at this location:Ive frequented many Starbucks locations, throughout San Jose, Santa Cruz, Stockton, Merced, even all the way down in Phoenix; and never have I felt such an unwelcoming and discriminatory presence, with an almost hostile attitude towards me and my wife the way that Ive experienced the customer service in this particular location. When I asked for a cup of hot water moments ago loud and clear, I was required to repeat myself twice, with the rep having an air about her that makes me feel she either purposely does it for entertainment, or just doesnt deem my request as worthy of being heard. Then she emphasized her attitude by saying For future reference, we will only be offering water to CUSTOMERS. Which I find insulting first off, since I AM a customer who has spent plenty of money in many of your coffee houses and have possessed a rewards card even. I am currently homeless and have been so for a year with only one month of living in SJ and this is the fIrst location to make me feel mistreated and singled out due to my misfortune. While I am aware there are homeless people who dont know how to act at times, I do not think a low level barista who works for a fortune 500 corporation, has any special place in this world which grants her the ability to look down on me or anyone else who is homeless, automatically profiling who she thinks is a customer and who isnt. I wont bother singling her out by naming her specifically at this time, cuz I do not wish to act like her or hold any grudges which make me seek vengeance. However I feel that this sort of service must come down as orders from higher up at this location and suggest some ethics be applied when training baristas on how to inform and converse with PEOPLE without making assumptions or judgements on a persons social status. I feel like had I not looked obviously homeless I may not have received the same treatment or lecture. I was planning on returning for a coffee and cake after taking my pregnant wife this hot water for her oatmeal breakfast FIRST. But now my unpleasant experience has left me with a sour taste for anything that is made here and this water is getting cold while I keep my wife and unborn child waiting. I will gladly pour out this cup and go to Chevron and PAY for a cup of water instead.
