The whitish parts of the red velvet are actually powdered sugar and not melted marshmallow.The blue ice cream is fun to look at but underwhelming in flavor. Its just blue 🔵 coloring after all.Their cookies and cream wasnt much to brag about either. Its mostly sugar, and the flavors youd expect in a cookies and cream didnt stick out. I gotta admit, Im spoiled by Strauss and Humphrey Slocombe products.Unfortunately, the cookie and brownie wasnt heated enough. The brownie was surprisingly dry and not gooey at all.Their ice cream sandwiches are an overall average late night treat.If youre drunk, youd probably wouldnt care about these nuances 😂. Their colorful treats are more gimmick than they are for taste and texture.

Tried this place twice and loved it! Their cookies and ice cream are great. They also have gluten free cookies! However, last time i came i ordered 2 cookies, i asked one of the girls working there if she can heat them up for me, she told me no and that they only heat up ice cream sandwiches, which i found weird to be honest and couldn’t find a reasonable excuse for it. Thats why i gave them 3 stars.

Staff is super quick to prepare your order and has great recommendations! It was $7 for an ice cream sandwich, and I got the butter brittle cake ice cream with gooey butter cake cookies. This was a perfect stop on our ice cream crawl for National Ice Cream Day, and the portion size was easily shareable between two people.

Tons of options for ice cream sandwiches! All the usual types of ice cream sandwiches plus some that you may not have tried, like the donut ice cream sandwich or a brownie ive cream sandwich. The donuts taste similar to Krispy Kreme donuts and the ice cream is good but not like Haagen-Dazs taste. You can also add a wide variety of toppings to your sandwich (brownie bits, chocolate chips etc.)They also have great cookies. When I went there was 8 flavors - 7 regular ones and one flavor of the month cookie.

I got the brownie bowl and it was delicious .. I wish the brownie was more hot though definitely ask them if youre like me.

The pictures and the price suggests something above average. At best the 10.00 ice cream sandwich is comparable to its 3.25 cousin pulled from a 7/11 cold case. The cookies thin and hard, the ice cream unremarkable. We had hopes of something that might be more akin to a Coldstone Creamery and less a gas station but sadly that was not the case.at worst we would have been better served at the local convenience store. Perhaps our experience was not representative of everything but it does seem to be their signature item which is somewhat surprising.

Wasnt awesome and the line was long. They were out of a lot but I also just didnt enjoy the ice cream or the brownie (which was literally completely hard). Not sure what all the hype was about. We went back a few days later and I got just a red velvet cookie that was definitely good - but nothing amazing. I’m in love! Visited The Baked Bear for the first time (definitely not the last) and had a cookie sandwich made of Mexican hot chocolate cookies and coffee ice cream. Wow! The coffee ice cream was the perfect complement to the spicy chocolate cookies. Taste explosion!

I absolutely love the concept of this place. Take your favourite cookie flavours, sandwich your favourite ice cream between them, add fudge and whatever else you like and youve got a little slice of heaven. A brilliant place to come on a hot day. They also have cold and hot drinks. Really friendly people and service is quick. Lots of seating inside and out. Able to cope with a big group at no notice.

Amazing place,I havent seen ice cream sandwich(with cookies) warm up like here before. Many flavours,the scoops are huge! Very tasty. You can compose your own dessert as you want -pick up ice cream,cookie,toppings etc. Prices are reasonable for this portion of ice cream. Very nice Staff,friendly,smiling. The place (and toilet) clean and has quite accesibilty. I hope I will come back there in the future.

Surprised to see a franchise eatery in North Beach area... but Baked Bear serves my favourite warmed up cookies (snickerdoodle in particular) with ice cream in the middle. Location is great for walking (between Broadway and Columbus) but parking is very limited (only street meter parking). The servers are typically friendly; if you are local, you get 10% off.

The staff here were so friendly and helped make choosing what to get really easy. The cookies were fresh and delicious and they even gave me two extra to try for free as I was leaving. The dairy free icecream options were minimal but still very nice. There is also a toilet in the back available to customers.

Absolutely delicious - the cookies were soft and fresh, which went perfectly with the ice cream. They had good options for both ice cream flavors and cookies. Im surprised there arent more ice cream shops that include cookies to make sandwiches, its such a classic combination that is incredibly enjoyable.I had the funfetti cookies with birthday cake ice cream (dipped in sprinkles) and my wife had the peanut butter cookies with their signature bear batter ice cream plus M&Ms.

This place is simply fantastic! I chose to make the combination as suggested on the board and it was so delicious. They gently heat the sweet bookends yet the ice cream is still cold, in total you have a sensory delight! Also the people there are very cordial and I will be going back soon!

Jeffery took the time to give a personal experience to every customer. He asked about my day and turned the almonds on my ice cream into a flower. Great flavor in both the cookie and ice cream, and same with the quality. It was $6.90 for just this, but I guess thats to be expected. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

My mom and I visited when we were in San Francisco recently and we were not disappointed! The ice cream was delicious (though they didn’t have bubble gum) and the ice cream sandwich was amazing! My mom the whipping cream fiend was given an extra helping of whipping cream which made her day!

Loved this novel little ice cream and cookie/brownie shop. Definitely worth a stop in SF.

Lets start with the setup. You pick you cookies (there is a good selection and yes HOMEMADE) and yes they can be two types since there are two sides to the sandwich. Then your Ice cream. I had the Snicker doodle and Gingerbread with Birthday Cake. (see photo) The ice cream is then packed between the cookies and ready to go. Talk about tasty and filling. Dont go here right after you eat, its alot to take in.Now the place is small and nicley setup for service. The owner was pleasent and welcoming. They are new to the area (less than a year) If you find yourself in the area and want a GREAT treat stop by and check the Baked Bear out!

Had an Ice cream sandwich from here. They have multiple choices for things to put ice cream in. I had a strawberry shortcake and white chocolate macadamia nut cookie sandwich with a rotating flavor from here. Warmed up. The options are a bit over whelming here but it’s a nice place and atmosphere to get a dessert from. Easier to eat with hands than a spoon.

Holy mother of God. This place is absolutely amazing. If you have a sweet tooth, this is definitely the place to be. A little bit of a line, but the wait was not long at all. Theyre very organized and very clean. They have public restrooms. All in all the cookie that I had was the gooey butter cookie and the white macadamia there were exceptional but I made the horrible mistake of not getting the brownies. I would definitely recommend those. It was pretty difficult to find parking. But completely worth it.

They got red velvet cookies. I didnt know that existed. I knew about red velvet cupcakes, Ive grown quite fond of them. Ive just started a beautiful relationship with the cookies. I dont even know what red velvet is. I know red is a color and I thought velvet was a color too, but after looking it up, apparently its a closely woven fabric. Red closely woven fabric taste so good! I dont know why Im okay with accepting the taste of a food as a red closely woven fabric. I understand why orange juice is called orange juice. A fruit sharing the same name as a color isnt that weird. If there was a drink called red juice or velvet juice, I imagine Id be very concerned. Where did the red derive from? Red couldnt have just come from red. For velvet juice, why would anyone name a juice or any food after a closely woven fabric? Is velvet one of the only edible fabrics out there? If it is, Im going to Michaels or Joann Fabrics and loading up on velvet. What Im trying to say is a drink called red juice or velvet juice would worry me, but for some reason I have no problem with red velvet cupcakes/cookies. Something about red and velvet going together doesnt raise any suspicion for me. I guess its the perfect duo. I assume Id be fine with red velvet juice too.
