Hot Cookie is always a must go spot if you are busy the Castro or playing tourist for a day.Who doesnt want a delicious cookie in the shape of naughty bits.In addition to the cookies they are known for they have a wide selection of other flavors. I got the cranberry and white chocolate cookie. The texture was wonderful but was a little too sweet for my preference.The person working the counter was friendly and helpful.

My first time going to San Francisco and I seen it as I was walking the had a line of customer at the time so I had to stop and order me some HOT COOKIES and they cookies are delicious. I fell in love with there cookies. I will always recommend there cookies to all my family and friends. They have great customer service and will let you know those cookies are the best. Our favorite places for cookies in SF! The story is tiny, you just walk-in, order and leave but its soooo worth it. Cookies are always fresh and the staff is always so nice. We went 3 times this trip.

A taxi driver told me: if you go to Castro, you MUST stop by Hot Cookie and boy was he right! Their products are DELICIOUS! I as with a group so we got a variety to try and they all had a few common denominators: perfect balance between moist and crumbling texture, warm and you could feel they were fresh. I would back the taxi drivers advice: when in Castro, stop there and grab a few, theyre still yummy the next morning!

I loveeee this place! The names are all hilarious and the cookies are all delicious. If you’re feeling adventurous, get one of the “fun” shaped cookies, they’re great. My favorite cookie has got to be the “sticky nicky “ it has caramel and pretzels on top.

Ordered 4 items: one toffee milk chocolate cookie, one sexy Bryan bar, one Boy Scout cookie and one coconut macadamia cookie. It took an hour and a half to deliver and they only got one item right-the sexy Bryan bar. They gave us a chocolate peanut butter bar and two chocolate chip cookies. Will never order again. Save your time and skip this place if you order in the afternoon. Guess you’ll just get whatever they decide. Really disappointed, especially since we paid more for the specialty cookies ($17 for 4 items) and just got regular chocolate chip. 2 stars because the food at least taste good

Seriously so tasty! Crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Weve tried their coco mac daddy, toffee milk chocolate and their peanut butter. They are all delicous. If you only want to try one, get the coco mac daddy! The ultimate pairing is to walk down to Castro Tarts and get their iced Vietnamese coffee.

It seems the cookies have changed recently. The last couple times I’ve gone they seem smaller. Considering the change in size I don’t think they adjusted the cooking time. My Cooke’s weren’t as moist and chewy. They still make a great cookie but consistency is key.

In addition to a great atmosphere, the cookies are BOMB. Expect a line out the door on busy nights, but its quick anyway. The staff are all super friendly and even opened up after closing for my drunk boyfriend who wanted water, haha.

What a unique shop! My friends took me here while visiting San Francisco and I was absolutely delighted. It features tasty treats as well an entire wall covered with half naked pictures of people wearing the famed Hot Cookie Undies.I bought the fruity pebbles Rice Krispy treat and was amazed by the size (freaking giant) and the tasty (surprisingly good). I will definitely come back here when I come back to SF.

Hot Cookie is a must stop shop on any visit to SF. Their combination of tasty carbolicious sugar filled treats, fabulous staff and camp atmosphere put a smile on my face every time I visit. My personal favorites are the ginger snaps and macaroons! YUM! But if youre looking for something more adventurous try one of their famous phallic shaped bickies! This place really epitomises the saying sugar, spice and everything nice!!

The coco mac daddy cookie is DELISH. The decor of this place is also bomb. Its wonderful snacking on the tasty cookie while taking a stroll down Castro. The toffee milk chocolate cookie is also very good.

The cookies were cold when I got them and their customer service was really slow. There was a big line when I went but this was because it took a long time for them to process each customer. When I was next in line, they took a while before they asked what they could get me. Its ok if you need a sugar fix but not an essential visit.

Went to this store while traveling through San Francisco for my girlfriends birthday. It is quite a interesting coockie store. We loves the concept and everything looks very interesting from the format, shape, smell, colors and names of it. We shared the dark chocolate cookie and it was very tasty and rich. Definitely recommend you to try this treat. As they say in America: Once you go black, you never go back. That works great with chocolate as far as I have tried. :D

No set price-they charge according to weight of the cookies. Not cheap at all, but worth the visit. Only 2 down sides...NO parking whatsoever. Best to have someone drive up, and someone dash out to wait in line as the driver circles a few blocks or parks and you can them when ready. In Castro district and parking is extremely limited ANYWHERE! 2nd issue? They so NOT serve coffee. 😣 Cookies without option for coffee? Oh well...very tiny place..perhaps thats why.

The cookies they sell are a real treat for ate dinner. They are open until midnight most nights and the smell is to die for. Definitely treat yourself to one or two.... Just note that they arent so cheap so dont take lots of young children along. This is an adult cookie shop 😁😉

Who can resist the smell of warm cookies. Its a small shop with freshly baked cookies. Theres the standard selection, but almost everything here contains nuts. If you have a nut allergy dont temp fate. Whats really interesting here is they sell the cookie by weight. Service is quick and friendly, but youll have to take your cookie outside, theres no seating here.

Hot Cookie is a very cute little cafe filled with esthetic desserts and Korean pop music. My friend and I got the purple potato ice cream, purple potato lattes, and purple potato shave ice which came with the sweet purple chips and dip. Everything came out beautifully with mini flowers as the topper.The lattes were on the non sweet end with a slight purple potato taste. The shave ice was quite too sweet for my taste buds. The ice cream has gotten to be my favorite out of the bunch. It was not too sweet and the potato flavor was there. Parking: it shares a parking structure with the plaza which made life easy Price: personally, it was overpriced.

Classic SF cookie store in the Castro. Great cookies, some of which are, um, racy (to say the least!). Open late, 2am on Friday and Saturday for a late night cookie fix. The place is tiny, so you may have to wait outside while the customers in front of you get their cookies.

My friends and I bought an assortment of cookies Friday even and each and every one of them were absolutely delicious! We tried the toffee and chip, sugar, ginger snap, and white chocolate chip. The server was incredibly friendly as well...a wonderful smile goes a long way!

My sweet tooth is in heaven here. All the cookies are moist and fresh. I tend to stop by every time before I go to the Castro movie theatre. My favorite cookie is the snicker doodle and the white chocolate chip with nuts. Oh wait, I also like the rice crispy treats and the regular chocolate chip. And, dont forget about the peanut butter cookies. Well to be honest, I dont have a favorite cookie. :)

Tasty cookies with a twist! If youre visiting Castro area, you can never miss this cookie bar right at the start of the street next to the Castro theatre. Queues can be quite long, especially late at night, so youd need to be able to handle the cold if you intend to get one. Do look out for the funnily-shaped cookies because they acually do taste good, apart from looking good.

The staff makes you feel welcome and gives you one on one service rather than rushing you. Its worth the wait! Had the Mr.P Cookie with whip cream.

Toffee chocolate chip is my favorite followed closely by the white chocolate chip macadamia nut. The thing is there are so many great cookie shops in San Francisco its hard to compete. Hot cookie differentiates itself with its fun...shapes rather than by cookie flavor and quality.

Got the chocolate dipped brownie. Really good. The penis cookies are ok too. Definitely more novelty. They do have coconut though, so if thats not your thing, get one of the other things on the menu.

This place may be tiny but it is filled with delicious cookies and interesting photography. The cookies are big and delicious and reasonably priced. Also, if you are looking for something a little outrageous, definitely come here for a unique cookie lollipop concoction or even some Hot Cookie underwear. A must visit in the Castro.

The guy working at the counter tonite 2/9/19 around 8:30pm was very helpful! Thank you for the cookie punch card! It smelled delicious in there. The naughty cookie on a stick is a fun idea. Huge mouthwatering looking rice Krispy treats, giant cookies. If you have the munchies you will be stoked.

The snicker doodle was a good cookie, not memorable, but satisfying. The ginger snap was simply alright, Ive had better.The flair of this is shop is the real draw. The walls are lined w/ patrons that take pictures in the shop short-shorts attire. They have penis shaped cookies, too. The experience is worth taking a peek inside.So if Im in a cookie mood, this place will do. But it wont be their cookies that put me in the mood.

One word. ICONIC. Hot cookie is a must visit for any budding gaybie who may be visiting the Castro. Delicious large cookies, brownies and other fun treats. They ate definitely know for their penis cookies though, and their lesser known female selection!

They are awesome although overpriced at $3 per cookie, but they often have $1 day-olds which are just as good. Their employees are always lively, friendly, and flirty.I am docking one point on this review because the employees often blast music so loud that it’s like being in a club. I shouldn’t have to shout just to place an order. The shop is extremely small so when the employees are playing such music it becomes nearly impossible to place an order.

You cant miss Hot Cookie, at the corner of Castro & Market next to Jane Warner Plaza (aka, where the naked people are), across the street from the Castro Muni Station. They have a great selection of freshly made cookies, including yes, even some phallic shaped ones. They will indeed heat them if you prefer your cookies hot. Tip: its counter service only, meant to enjoy while walking.
