Had the most wonderful experience at pirch. Edwin has been Incredible to work with. He made sure to help me find items within my budget and adjust my order when something came up. Truly a very relaxing experience. Never felt pressured to spend more he gave me so many options to choose from. Also explained everything in full detail unlike some other appliance stores I have been to. The delivery of our appliances was also Incredible. Scheduling was quick and easy (for in stock items I purchased). Looking forward to getting the rest delivered.

Large showrooms to see in person rather than catalogs/ computer screens. Fun place to dream and imagine but also a place to make your final purchases for your next home design project. Chuck (and his sidekick Otis 🐕) were honest and helpful. He showed us options within our budget and didnt tell or sell us fluff.

Made online appt for next day and received confirmation call in the morning. The social distancing and cleanliness made a definite improvement on experience during these high stress times.Still allowed for walk-ins too which accommodating for all folkBrian was extremely helpful on insights and opinions and pros cons of each brand as well as differences on them on what works and not and setting expectations. Price ranges and delivery times and process all done without need to reference computer as other reviews noted.Looking forward to another visit as we nail down our options. Very good upfront experience.

I Agree with all the bad reviews. The service is very poor. Avoid Celeste Bryant and store manager Emily. I purchased subzero and wolf kitchen appliances and when left the store, realized that they had over charged me. when called back, they would not allow me back in the store and told me that the accounting department has to take care of this. This place runs like the government with bureaucracy. after multiple calls and appointment made, they still cancel my appointment and would not let me in. After 3 days, they told me money was refunded but after 5 days I had to call credit card company to settle this and return everything. we thought they provide good service. they do not. I would give them zero if I could. The price for subzero and wolf and most plumbing is fixed in San Diego, there are several other competitors in San Diego with slightly better price and superior service. the sales people are pushy and have no knowledge of the product they sell. they constantly have to look at websites and catalogues. Long story shot, AVOID them, I am never going back.

Its ok. I wasnt very impressed with the general vibe of the place. They seemed more concerned with being prudish and exclusive rather than just fact based and down to earth. Id done my homework before I went in and I feel like I knew more about what we were looking at then the person trying to sell it. They had cool stuff but I could deal without the pretentiousness.

Called the night before and scheduled an appointment for my mother. Was excited for this option because of COVID and safety issues. The night before we confirmed that the products she needed were in stock. She got there and the appointment after hers had showed up an hour early so the employee assigned to her opted to help them first, regardless of her punctuality. My mom attmepted to go onto the floor herself and find the products, but alas they did not have them in stock. No one else was avaliable to assit her so she waited for the originaly assigned employee when he had a break in his meeting. He hastily asked her if she had been able to find everything she needed, she replied no and was saddedned that she wasnt able to stick to her appointment slot. Luckily he suggested a different store out in Encitinas. We will be going there to find the products she needs.

Their quality of product is good, but you are going to pay FULL retail and get NO SERVICE. We purchased all of our plumbing fixtures and appliances for our remodel at our beach condo at Pirch. We worked with Edwin and Alesha. We spent A GRIP of money with them. When the order came, the appliances did not fit, the trash compactor and dishwasher were ordered incorrectly and guess what Pirch did....NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING!!!!! Our interior designer recommended Pirch... NEVER AGAIN. You will pay full retail for everything purchased, and if something goes wrong, they will charge you extra to make it right. A terrible, terrible experience.

Very nice showroom of home improvements. This is the only store I could find in San Diego who has Heston, Blue Star and many more brands of appliances on display. I was searching online but it is hard to understand the functionality of the appliances. The sales person was very helpful and patient with me. I was happy with their service.

The service and follow up is terrible. Returned a few items from a very large order and after 6 weeks still no refund. Sales staff and “project coordinators” are flippant and dismissive. They do not respond to messages or emails and we are still waiting for items that were promised weeks ago. Ask and get no response. Will never buy from them again

Horrible service! Buyer beware! I am so disappointed.After cancelling my order due to pushed out delivery dates & lack of service I contacted Pirch San Diego to speak to a manager 4 different days. Managers NEVER available to even take my call! NEVER called me back.So glad I didnt trust Pirch with the majority of my kitchen addition. They couldnt even handle a half bath. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Will never step in their door again.

We had a good experience with Pirch. We were surprised to learn they offer a 3 year warranty with the products they sell compared with the one year warranty you typically get from a store such as Home Depot or Lowes. The warranty along with the fact that they matched our price sold us. The delivery guys did a great job and their team was diligent in making sure the new double ovens would fit in our existing space. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was the computer error which stated the product was in their warehouse when it actually wasnt. But they apologized and worked to schedule us in as soon as possible.

My husband & I are building a house and went to Pirch for help. We were lucky to meet Edwin on our first visit. He helped us pick out all of our kitchen appliances and was so patient with all of our questions. We had such a good experience that we went back & got all of out plumbing fixtures. Eddie is a pro. Absolutely terrible. Tried calling multiple times to get info on several high end appliances and make a purchase but received no response. The showroom might be worth stopping by if you happen to be in the area but if you’re serious about buying you’d be wise to go elsewhere. What value Pirch adds to the myriad of places to purchase appliances is definitely questionable.

Several years ago I ordered all my kitchen appliances from Pirch (Fixtures) and I couldnt be happier. Brian took the time to explain the features, pros and cons of each model relative to our design requirements and help us cut to the quick. He was absolutely right. I am now working with Brian again and find his customer service and commitment to the customers satisfaction to be exceptional. I have referred others to this terrific store and to Brian in particular and they are all very satisfied.

I experienced terrible customer service with Pirch. The appliances are beautiful but it has been a struggle to resolve an issue with a faulty dishwasher. They do not return phone calls and do not return emails. After spending nearly $60,000 on appliances, I expected more.....much more. *******As of March 29, 2019: I want to add to this review that my problem with Pirch has now been resolved. The San Diego store has a new service manager. Her name is Alice Parenti. She has been lovely and actually very helpful in resolving my problem. She called me several times, she took time to listen to me and most importantly she did not dismiss me. I am thankful to her for setting things straight. Pirch has beautiful products and I believe with Alice at the customer service helm, Pirch can once again begin to be the place to shop for high end appliances.

GOING OUT OF BUSINESS!!! Buy somewhere else! We made the mistake of purchasing through Pirch’s Oak Brook, IL store for our kitchen remodel. Doing our due diligence, we price shopped around other appliance stores in the area. One of the competing store’s sales reps warned us that Pirch would be going out of business. However, the kitchen designer we chose was housed in the Pirch store and assured us that we were better off ordering our appliances through Pirch. He said he would be able to work closely with them to ensure no details would be missed with our order.One week after making the 50% deposit for our order, we receive an email notifying us that Pirch would be closing their stores across the country, except for their 4 stores in California. When we called our sales rep to cancel our order, we were informed their would be a 25% restocking fee to cancel our order. We were assured they would still deliver our order, but we would have to accept delivery a month earlier than we would be ready to install them. Not wanting to pay the restocking fee, we agreed.However, when it was time to install our appliances, we discovered that a miscommunication between our designer and the Pirch sales rep resulted in the wrong model # beverage center being ordered. When we contacted Pirch to exchange the beverage center for the correct one, they told us there was nothing they could do because they were no longer in business in our area. We are now stuck with a $2000 beverage center that we cannot use.Save yourself the trouble, and buy from another store that isn’t in danger of going out of business. Pretty much all stores will do price matching. Choose one that will still be around after you install your appliances to address any issues.

We have been extremely disappointed with Pirch. After spending $20k on appliances we cannot get our project coordinator to call us back let alone deliver the products on time. Our project is now two weeks behind schedule as we wait on our delivery. We were never told about a delay when we ordered the appliances and have honestly expected way more from this store, especially in customer service. I have had better customer service at Lowe’s.

I was shopping for the Kohler sensate faucet, and had heard they had it live and in action in their showroom! I really wanted to be able to actually watch it work and make sure it was what I had imagined. Luckily it was there and in the front of their showroom. I was never quite sure about the automated faucets, but Kelli educated me thoroughly on the options and features. I purchased the faucet and absolutely love the educative and interactive approach this showroom provides for their consumers. Ill be back and will recommend it to anyone looking for new appliances.Thanks Pirch!

Service and project coordinators were excellent!!! The delivery guys were useless - wanted to charge extra to move the appliances into the front entrance of a construction project 20 feet away from the curb - but would have move the appliances 80 feet into the garage for free, if it wasnt under construction. Get a better delivery company!!!!

Gave one star but ZERO is the rating. Pirch has a very impressive showroom and the sales staff are very helpful and attentive. HOWEVER, once you purchase, even with extended warranty, the customer service is BAD! Delivery men were the worst we’ve seen and once our refrigerator broke down (1 year after purchase), the extended warranty was a joke. Calls to Pirch were not returned. Take your business elsewhere.

We bought all of our major appliances from Pirch, and not only were the showroom and sales people fabulous, but the service after has been fantastic. I will never shop anywhere else. Our dryer started making funny noises after a year, and it took one 3 minute phone call where they pulled up my information and said they will have a local technician contact me to come out for repair. I didn’t have to search for receipts or order numbers or fight with anyone.

And while we did not use them for everything we did use them for the appliances and found them to be very competitive. A special call out for Erika Hosking who went above and beyond the call of duty to help get our Bosch rebate processed.

My experience with this company has been the worst I have had in a very long time. It has been 44 days since I purchased appliances from this company and still have not received them. They call and suggest a delivery date that still has to go through one person to get approved. Who does this???, I have had to take time off work only to be rescheduled and now my boyfriend has taken a day off to be there for the install and they call the night before to once again cancel me. San Diego go somewhere else to get your high end appliances, If not good luck in getting them in a timely manner or with any type of customer service. October 29th, I would like to complete this review on a positive note, after my original review Pirch contacted me and worked with me diligently to get me my purchase. On Friday George and Walter Installed my appliances. They were awesome took their time with me answered all my questions and even showed me how the appliances work. I can not say enough of the professionalism. I would also like to extend my personal thanks to Chris and Brandon to right this situation in a timely manner.

Great display of appliances and tasty lemon/lime beverage while you peruse. On the other hand, it took 10 days to transfer an item from Oceanside (20 miles) to the store for pick up. When the plumber came to install the item it was discovered significant parts were missing. Pirch resisted providing a replacement item, offering instead, to get the missing parts (another delay) until I took the faucet back and they then graciously agreed to a refund. But of course, the plumber had to come out twice, at my expense.

It is always a pure pleasure to visit Pirch in UTC:The staff is welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable and professionalThe barista is cordial and sweet, and make delicious coffee. If I’m just thirsty, there is delicious filtered water, aromatized with organic fruit.The place is simply stunning, so you can rest your eyes and relax a bit from a hectic mall energy.Most importantly, the appliances!Pirch brough my cooking to the next level and my husband loves barbequing for family and friends with our new barbeque.If you are a foodie, I highly recommend taking advantage of the cooking demos they have at the store. It is better than any cooking show on TV and a lot more helpful than reading blogs and magazines, because you can see things in person and ask questions in real time.

Likely the most abysmal service Ive received from any company. My contractor walked off the job because Pirch could not deliver parts. My contractor did as much work as he could and waited a couple of extra weeks and when the parts did arrive they were defective so they needed to be re-ordered from the supplier. The contractor had to move on at that point. The re-order took another 2 months to fulfill. Now I have to convince my contractor to come back and finish the job he started in June. Knowing what I know now I would never do business with this company. Service and communication is the worst Ive experienced from any company Ive worked with.

I have been into Pirch a few times as I am doing a major remodel. Each time the service gets worse and if you read the other reviews you will see that others feel the same way.I went in to buy a $2000 dishwasher last week and Jennifer and the rest of the staff gave me the distinct impression I was bothering them. Jennifer couldnt answer many of my questions, forgot to tell me about the outrageous $295 delivery and installation fee, and now, exactly one week later she has not gotten back to me on any of my questions - or even called to take my information to place my order! This was however, better service than I got the week before when Jason told me that the same dishwasher had a built in garbage disposal and could not be ordered with another panel to switch out down the road. Both of these statements were completely false.I called today to complain about my terrible service and was put on hold for 5 minutes only to finally be left with an option to leave a voicemail- to which I have still not received a response.I have worked in and managed retail my entire life and know its not just all about putting cute signs up all over the store about how dedicated the company is to giving you a great shopping experience. You actually have to live that promise and take care of every customer that walks in the door.As my interior designer friend already warned me -Stay clear of Pirch. That advice I will definitely take. If they cant even place the order or answer my questions now then what will happen when I need service down the line?.

Hello I entered Pirch back in December 2018 and during this time i was greeted by a Rene Sweeney who appeared to be extremely responsive to my $50-60,000. purchase i made at that time. However, after I experienced some construction delays I push back taking delivery of my Wolf and Sub Zero Appliances, I notice when calling Rene she would direct me to their Project Managers and showed no interest in being of assistance, so I started dealing with Pirch Project Coordinator and Project Manager assigned to my account at first glance lead me to believe such a professional organization as I later discovered how this company is so poorly run and operated from the Top Down. Their Project Manager sent out a onsite installer to confirm all the kitchen build out were correct. I was told all was fine except for a electrical and the hood correction, which I did. At no point did Pirch send someone out to confirm the new kitchen corrections were completed correctly. So I had Pirch finally come to deliver and their installer tells me he cant install due to mistakes in the build out which according to the Pirch Installer it called for a Flat Panel installation. I went back to Rene she directed me to the Store director Giles and explained to him that i had never requested for a Flat Panel installation and did not understand why the installer stated there would be one on the order. Long story short Giles offers me a $500.00 rebate and 6 Complementary cooking classes assures me they will deliver ASAP. This was nearly over a week ago and I have sent countless emails to their project coordinator and 3-4 Text message to the Store Director Giles and general get a response back from Giles if lucky 12-24 hours later and what does he do to defend their Company POINTS OUT TO A 25% RESTOCKING FEE IF YOU CANCEL YOUR ORDER. Pirch is a company I would stay clear from as they struggle with customer service and struggle with coordination between their Sales People, Store Director and their Installation Dept. I have been forced to dispute my charges with AMEX and went out to another Wolf/Subzero Dealer to make my purchase. Which have me scheduled to deliver in 2 business days. In the mean time i am still waiting for Giles or someone at Pirch to respond to my text messages and emails.

We are a design and build company and brought many of our clients there. I dont know if they are having problems since the new managment took over but once you purchase the appliances, they never follow through with delivery dates, shipment and they would tell you that something us back order the day is supposed to be deliver instead of checking before.Couple of the appliances broke in one of our new remodel and it became a nightmare trying to call them and miele.I wont bring my clients anymore.

Really surprised by the Pirch team! I purchased all new kitchen appliances and washer dryer in January 2016. The washing machine failed in February 2017. One of the 2 refrigerators ($2700 LG French door) failed in August 2017. In both situations I contacted the pirch customer care and was assured they would have a repair person contact me -- it never happened. 7 calls since August 26 (today is sept 16) to the service team, each time the person I spoke with was polite & professional - but no one ever followed up. As soon as I hung up the phone I never heard anything again. Avoid this company!! their customer service is supposed to be worth the higher costs, but once the sale is done - the follow up goes away too!

BEWARE BEFORE YOU BUY HERE and Meile AppliancesPirch convinces you that their warranty is one thing that stands out vs. their competitor. Furthermore, they sold us VERY EXPENSIVE JUNK.The Fisher Paykel fridge has given us several headaches that neither Pirch nor the manufacturer are accepting responsibility. The ice-maker doesnt work properly and the door hinges get stuck open. But unfortunately, we have to live with it. We gave up after several service calls and no resolutionRe: Meiel (STOP!!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY MEILE appliances). Theyre customer service is horrible. Their installers came to do theyre pre-site inspections that they pride themselves on. Told us we need to return and purchase a different downdraft vent/cooktop solution. We did exactly what they advised. Then the Meile installers came back to install the new solution...AT THE WRONG TIME. They looked at the site, inspected and said it was good to go, with one small modification. My husband and contractor did that. Meile came back, installed the cooktop and downdraft vent. Left and said they were done.Several months later, I found a box in a closet. It was the downdraft internal blower that MIELE told me we needed. Well, they never installed it, never told us they didnt install it, nor mentioned that we STILL needed to do further modifications. Their installer had my husband do a hack which for all we know could be a fire hazard.Now Mieles two representatives including a supervisor have argued with me on the phone for over an hour, accused me of lying, and said their installers told us, and would NEVER do what they did and said I need to pay an additional $100 for them to come back out to inspect and complete the job they never did.If you plan to buy premium appliances, stick with Wolfe, Viking and other well-know brands and AVOID Meile at all costs.

This store has serious problems with deliveries. Expect orders to take WEEKS longer than promised. Expect items to be shipped randomly by multiple couriers, and never enough to actually start a renovation. Expect minimal communication throughout. Yes, the stores look nice; too bad it takes forever to actually receive what you paid for. Do not go with Pirch, you can do better somewhere else.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. If I could give Pirch 0 stars I would. They came to my house to put new stainless fridge doors on, BUT they brought the wrong doors, and prematurely took off my $2800 custom wood panel doors AND accidently threw them away! 6 months later I still have NO FRIDGE DOORS. For over a month back in Sept ’17 we were waiting to see if they had my custom wood doors in a warehouse somewhere, and about 45 days later they confirmed they were thrown away. Their customer service and the way they conduct business has been the worst I’ve ever experienced. I am now pushing SIX months of being patient, writing countless emails, texts, phone calls, you name it (I have 112 documented emails concerning Pirch - ONE HUNDRED AND TWELVE instances they wasted my time), dating back to September of 2017. I have been passed around to numerous employees, as their way of stalling, from Mike Bershaw, to Brian Hickey, to assistants… I’ve been given phone numbers that are promised to be cell phones, that are actually main lines, and one time it lead to a “Head Chef”, to finally being passed to the Store Director Brandon Drake on Dec 28th. Brandon called me right away and assured me it would be handled asking me to give him until the end of the week. He said they’d either refund me the $2800 they owe me for my custom doors they threw away, or they’d get me the correct stainless steal doors. Well it’s Feb 8th now, I’ve continuously been ignored, given false promises of an install day in January, and have wasted countless hours of my life trying to track them down, and I still have no refrigerator doors. The only thing I can think of is this company is going out of business and they cannot refund me, because why else would a company steal from a customer? I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. See photo examples of unanswered texts and false promises on an instal date for mid January from the Store Director.

My husband and I went into their showroom to look at appliances for our kitchen, bar and laundry room remodel. Our sales person, Florzell was fantastic, his product knowledge was amazing! We did some research and came back to the store to buy a Wolfe range, vent-a-hood, Wolf Sub zero wine cooler, Wolf Sub Zero fridge, Wolf prep refrigerator, Miele dishwasher, Miele convection oven and Miele pure line built in coffee maker, plus sinks, faucets and this is not including what we have purchased for our bar outside or our laundry room. That was the good part, the rest has been a disaster! (BTW, Florzell is no longer with the company)They called to schedule our installation, which when you are buying the appliances they dont tell you that you need a pre-inspection, prior to installation, to verify that the cabinets are installed and to their specifications. They requested that our general contractor be onsite, for any direct questions. They took overall and hour, looking at plumbing, measuring cabinets, two and three times and talking about the electrical, plumbing and gas lines for the appliances. In the end, we still needed to have floors installed and granite counter tops installed, before they would install appliances. The Pirch inspector Michael was overall nice, but he did have us move some lines prior to the installation.The installers show up and right away tell me that they cant and wont install our refrigerator due to the lack of ventilation between the refrigerator and wine cooler. WHAT! This space was built to their specifications! Michael, the inspector, was here to make sure that everything we have completed up until that point, was to their liking said nothing about the lack of space or need of a heating unit. I get on the phone right away with Marvin, our Service coordinator, frantic because I want my refrigerator installed and now they are telling me that I need another part. This happened on Tuesday. On Thursday they call me back, finally and tell me that they have located this part, which cost us and additional $500, which at this point is futile, due to the large amount of money we have already spent. Its been a week and a half and the refrigerator is still sitting in my garage, along with the new heating element that they told us we had to buy and they still have not called me back to let me know when they can install it. I have called everyday day, twice a day and Marvin has assured me that they would make this a top priority....... yeah right. STAY AWAY!!! Its to the point now, that we are thinking about cancelling all the bar appliances, three refrigerators, a dishwasher sink and ice maker. Yes, its been that bad!
