I had a custom-designed ring made for our 10 year anniversary back in April. Josh did an incredible job. He thoughtfully listened to us and made sure he understood exactly what we had envisioned. He drew a sketch right there at our first visit. Then, he sent us a visual image of the design via email that looked like it came straight out of a magazine. Then, he sent us various price-point quotes (different sizes of stones, different materials for the ring, etc) to make sure we stayed in our budget but still got a ring we loved. Finally, he designed a 3D ring using a 3D printer that I tried on so I could really get a feeling for how the ring would look on my hand. When we got the finished ring, it was more beautiful than we could have ever expected. I get compliments about it all the time. Josh is an amazing jewelry designer and we already have plans to go back and visit him to get a custom-designed pendant made. If you ever need a custom piece, we HIGHLY recommend contacting Josh. And CD Clark Diamonds is a wonderful family-owned business. Everyone there was so nice and so friendly. I’m short, the entire ring-buying experience was a pleasure from beginning to end.

Went in to resize 5 💍rings, Im leaving out of town and they were able to get my order out earlier and I really appreciated it, resizing is a great fit and they are SUPER nice and shiny! They are sparkling on my fingers. Seam work is also A+ you cant really see or notice the saudering.My rings are silver. Words cannot express my gratitude and satisfaction with C.D. Clark—Chad, Josh, and the team were phenomenal and absolutely made my dream a reality with my custom engagement ring! I had a bit of a difficult request with my custom 2-stone engagement ring idea and had been turned down from a couple of the “Big Guys” in town and was losing hope, but C.D. Clark came highly recommended through fellow customers at my employer, and the hype absolutely verified. The amount of knowledge with my gems, actual design, time frame and setting realistic expectations truly proves the confidence Josh and all the team exude from start to finish. The whole process took about a month to complete (delays by recovering from COVID) and actually was very fairly priced (I paid less than $1,800), keeping in mind I came to the team with 2 stones and a band already. But coming from a sometimes demanding customer, I was taken back and honestly speechless when I got my engagement ring back. It’s absolutely beautiful. I am so happy and get compliments EVERYWHERE. Felt like family every time I went in to make payment. Very knowledgeable of diamonds and educated me on how they are graded. I decided it was time for an engagement ring and was referred to CD Clarks Design Studio by my family. I was introduced to the owner Chad and his son Josh who were both incredibly friendly and welcoming. They first asked me about myself and my now fiance which was exceptionally personable, this really made me feel that they were as invested in this momentus step in my life as I was. My anxieties and worries were cleared up in no time as they made me feel so comfortable before we made any moves towards the jewelry cases.Going into this venture I had virtually zero knowledge about diamonds and finer jewelry. Working with Josh was fantastic as he started with educating me about diamonds and how to find the best value from a stone. This put me even further at ease as this was one of the biggest insecurities I had going in was selecting a diamond. I truely feel by the end of Joshs crash course I had selected the perfect diamond.Now when it came to the ring itself I knew less would be more, and I was going for simplicity. While I perhaps did not take full advantage of the CD Clark Design Studios capabilities, I cannot overstate the fact that they can make just about anything you can imagine for a truly 1/1 piece. The final product was simple in my case, but thats not to say I did not go back and forth with Josh as we threw ideas off of each other and en route to that final product. Everytime I asked Can we do something like this? or Can this be done? the answer was yes. Their ability to bring an idea to life is truly staggering. I did not want to purchase a cookie cutter design from a name brand retailer; the person you choose to marry is one in quite literally infinity and Im beyond grateful that CD Clark was able to convey that in the ring I presented.Once the design was settled on and the stone was selected Josh told me the next steps would be a 3D render of the ring and then a 3D print of it. I believe these steps to be absolutely crucial in the creation of custom jewelry. It just so happened that I asked for minor edits after the first render and with the next one I was completely ready to proceed. Josh mentioned that these steps are in place just in case you want to ask for any changes or additions or perhaps once you see it for the first time you decide you want to scrap the idea and start over, which can happen. After this came the 3D print, you get to see your design in the flesh and even test how the stone will look with it, another crucial step. I gave my final OK and the ring was ready in a the longest two weeks of my life, which in retrospect I feel is incredibly quick for a custom piece.In this whole process, there were a few things I felt were important to me. I wanted a one of a kind piece of jewelry, I wanted to avoid chain retailers, and I wanted it to somehow be connected to the place I call home. I cant possibly imagine having done this without the help of CD Clark Design Studio. Theyre a family run business and their passion for what they do is someting you feel and experince working with them and something abundantly tangible in the final product they deliver. Their ability to deliver on everything I knew I wanted and everything I didnt know I wanted was absolutely top-tier.If San Antonio, South Texas or even the greater parts of Texas is where you call home I cannot implore you enough to consult CD Clark for fine jewelry needs. I brought in a beat up ring made by a well known San Antonio jeweler that even that jeweler did not want to fix. CD Clark fixed and resized it for a very reasonable price. I was worried any jeweler would scoff at my pathetic ring but they understood its value to me and for that reason I’ll be back. So grateful.

My wife’s ring was tested at a different location (using a diamond tester), which provided results of her diamond ring center piece being moissanite and not an actual diamond. Naturally, I was confused and startled given the fact that I had been provided a GIA certificate stating otherwise from the place I had purchased her ring from. I contacted CD Clark in search of an appraiser, and they welcomed me to their store to help alleviate my concerns. They had not sold me the piece of jewelry, but they were still willing to assist with this matter which speaks volumes about their commitment to provide great customer service regardless if I was a customer or not.Immediately upon my arrival, Joshua calmly inspected the ring and informed me that in fact the diamond was genuine and to not worry since diamond testers can sometimes provide false positives. Customer service was very friendly and welcoming! Had a diamond replaced in the channel setting of my wedding band and had my engagement ring and wedding band fused together. This is my third time there. I have taken in a sterling silver Chrome Hearts wallet chain to be repaired and had a couple of pieces engraved. Chad, Josh and Stephanie are truly great people. Needed to upgrade my wife’s wedding ring that was originally made in California 25 years ago. Had no one local to go to. Talked to the big box stores including the giant one who advertise’s locally owned diamond experts and just too much pressure through the sales process. CD Clark is not that way. Extremely knowledgeable laid back no pressure atmosphere. Chad designed and Josh 3D developed a plastic Prototype and fit it on my wife with the diamonds. It was perfect the first time because they know what they are doing. They cast her rings in Platinum and called us when ready and they were perfect. CD Clark’s pricing was very competitive and reasonable so we also felt good knowing we were supporting a local business especially in these times. If you want to work with a group that is knowledgeable and can create a one of a kind special piece for your loved one at a fair price stop by and talk to them.

After being offered low prices at other places, I decided to explore my options. Jesse was the first I interacted with and he linked me with Josh, their Graduated Gemologist. Both of them were real with me and completely up front with my options on what I could do. Whenever I decided to sell... they offered me 48% more than any other business (yes I calculated it). NEW LOCATION IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! The old location at the mall was comfortable and neat, but the new location is stunning. Spacious, elegant, and the store now has a large selection of custom and hi-end designer jewelry lines to choose from in addition to the gold buying services offered at the previous location.My wedding ring was sized in 45 minutes, and I was promptly offered something to drink and a comfortable place to wait. The staff were considerate and friendly. I would highly recommend this store and have found my new family jeweler.

Joshua was incredible. I went in the store today with absolutely no knowledge of jewelry and he broke it down for me and patiently explained everything. He was not your “Typical Sales Person” trying to get all the money he could out of you. He’s very kinda and helped us out so much. Wow! What can I say! CD Clark is simply the BEST jewelers store in Texas. Being a family owned and run business, I’ve gotten to know Chad and family over the last 6 months. They made the perfect wedding band for my wife when we eloped last June and now they have put together an incredible diamond ring and new band that sparkles with so much ice that I’ve gotten calls from NASA to cover it up!I had been searching for a very hard to find Rolex for several years... the DeepSea Sea-Dweller James Cameron edition and Chad found it and he sold it to me at an incredibly price! This watch was brand new with the original plastic still in the watch! He also sourced a very specific datejust 31mm with diamond bezel and diamond dial for my wife and he knocked it of the park again!From the first time that I walked in the door of CD Clark, I was treated like a friend. Each employee, (family member), are actually my friends now! I cannot say enough about CD Clark. If you need any jewelry, they can make or source anything. They also do engraving and I will have some of my guns worked on soon to customize them even more.I love this store!

Me and my soon to be had the best experience at CD Clark. We went from knowing nothing about diamonds to designing exactly what we wanted. Our experience at box stores was frustrating and started to feel discouraged about finding the perfect ring. From the moment we walked in, Jesse was an absolute rock star. He was patient and honest, exactly what we were looking for. We went in with a budget, Jesse walked us through finding the right diamond, design, 3D print, final product and it was all under budget! They do not cut corners on customer service, design, or materials. I was absolutely shocked by the final product and I would recommend CD Clark to anyone especially if you want the real experience and not some car dealership atmosphere. Kudos to Jesse and your team. She is going to love it!

I cannot say enough good things about this place and their staff. In the last 6 months I have utilized their services for multiple things and they have exceeded my expectation every time. I had the unfortunate situation of getting my engagement ring and wedding band stuck and they had the appropriate and safe equipment to remove my ring with minimal damage. After I lost the pregnancy weight they re-sized my ring perfectly and cleaned it so well... made me feel like I just got engaged all over again! We had gone to all the big diamond stores in San Antonio and around the area and had searched online for the perfect diamond. We had done all the research on diamond quality and the 4Cs. I knew what I was looking for and was patient in my search. One day I happened upon reviews for CD Clark Diamond and Design Studio. The reviews were 5 Star and that got my curiosity up and I knew we had to go see for ourselves. Well, we were not disappointed at all. We arrived to meet Stephanie. She was so kind as to have several diamonds for us to compare them all. She had my special diamond shipped in for us to see on our second visit. OMG WOW no doubt this was the one!!! Jesse was an expert to show us what exactly this particular diamond was. A treasure for sure! Chad was a tremendous help to also inform us of the quality of our diamond choice. Josh is an expert designer who is designing a bezel for one of my gold coins. After seeing a couple of his design pieces I knew he was the one for the job. Despite being a very particular customer, they took care of every want and need and brought my vision to life. I could not recommend them enough!

After visiting nearly every jewelry store in San Antonio and listening to sales pitch after sales pitch, I finally found the place everyone should go to look for an engagement ring. I wasnt met with a salesman trying to immediately run my credit or having my fiance try on nearly every random ring in the store. Instead we focused on things she liked about jewelry and found a ring that incorporated everything she liked. I greatly appreciated not being pressured into making a decision right there on the spot and focusing on her likes to get a unique ring she absolutely loves. If youre not getting your ring here youre wasting your time and money. Also if youre a gun enthusiast ask about the gator glock, pretty awesome. Thanks Josh for making the process super easy.

Walking into this store was truly my favorite part of an especially overwhelming holiday season. I had a very specific Christmas gift of three pocket watches that I needed to be engraved. Luckily, the only way to turn into the adjacent shopping center is to turn right into their parking lot, so I wandered inside after a brief delightful phone call to go over pricing earlier in the week.When I say, I’d will return just to chit chat and laugh with people who clearly enjoy their day-to-day business and company of their colleagues, I mean it wholeheartedly.I have a lot of ideas, some may say, too many - but I was heard and walked through my tangled web of brainstorming patiently. They sent me photos of engraving options during the process, which allowed me to unironically send a text message that said “yay, fonts!”. They allowed for me to fulfill my ultimate goal of giving a gift that is both thoughtful, and jovial.Would absolutely recommend stopping in - it smells good, everyone makes you want to invite yourself to the company Christmas party, and most importantly the service was phenomenal.
