Were building and are buying all new furniture for our new home. We spent over $23K and had several questions regarding the order. I wasted an hour on the phone with someone from their parent company (William Sonoma) to no avail. So I called the La Cantera store and spoke to the Manger (Shane) who took the time to answer numerous questions and resolved all my issues. He was extremely patient and even went out of his way to contact Customer Service to get some $ credited back to our acct. due to an oversight. DO NOT LET SHANE GO, HES AWESOME!

Pottery barn displayed signs throughout the store saying that ALL LANTERNS were 20% off. Upon trying to purchase one of these products, the manager stated that there are “unwritten“ exclusions to their 20% off. She stated I had to pay full price, and disregarded the sign after I showed it to her. It felt like the manager was trying to pull a fast one. Be very careful about the pricing and discounts posted in the store.

My partner and my sister both visit and purchase from Pottery Barn so much, I should own part of this business by now.Honestly, what a great store with such beautiful products that I never knew I needed until I saw them. The displays in store are amazing.Sometimes its just nice to come in and walk around.

Charges for item but doesnt deliver. I purchased a table several months ago and the charges showed on my PB card in Sept. As of the end of Oct. I dont have my purchased item. PB doesnt have the item either (they have part of the table). Ive called several times but have never been able to get an explanation. Ive been told someone would contact me but that has never happened. Ive been on the phone with PB customer service for over 90 minutes this morning. Ive spoken to 5 CS agents, all of who just put me on hold. Im obviously not an important customer to PB even though Ive spent over $2000 with them in the last couple of months. I will never make another purchase with PB. Ill give my business to one of their competitors. They cant treat their customers any worse. UPDATE: After over two (2) hours on hold I actually spoke with a helpful CS Supervisor who informed me that the base of the table had arrive but was damaged (so never logged in to the PB inventory). She reordered the item which is now due in sometime mid December. Why it took multiple phone calls made by me, hours of time sitting on hold and almost a dozen CS agents to resolve this is beyond me. Maybe Ill have the table in time for Christmas. Im wondering what the plan would have been if I hadnt persisted in getting an answer. Maybe this will be the last time I give PB my money.
