Called and was able to get in same day. Ursula was very helpful and called me to come in a little early. I saw Heidi. She was great. I like the feel of the salon. Some places in stone oak think they are more important than they are. This place is what I needed. After a conversation, which i was rightfully and thankfully talked out of highlights we went with lowlights to blend my covid growth so I could continue to grow out healthy hair. She talked enough to be comfortable but didnt really pry or gossip which is the standard in some salons. Socially was spot on and professional and not afraid of some silence. I also thanked her for not soaking my clothes on the wash, which I have had happen repeatedly at other places. Was slightly pricey I guess but I have feet of hair and she worked hard and deserved the money. I got what I paid for. Would go back. Also they actually called to follow up the next week. What a rarity in this world.

I went to a place and got my hair done and it went terrible they made it choppy and uneven. But than I called Benjamin and co. And they got me in that exact same day. Yesterday I had the pleasure of spending my day at the salon getting my hair done. The staff is hands down so sweet and incredible. Ive had horrible experiences in the past at other salons so I was hesitant to begin with. I had my hair colored, styled and extensions put in. The cost was more than what Ive spent at other places, but I firmly believe that you get what you pay for..and I gladly would spend the time and money again. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair, which lets be honest my hair as me feeling like a princess, specifically Ariel ☺️. Thank you for being so accommodating, for opening your doors to my family, making sure my sons son I were okay and making is feel so comfortable. I look forward to my visit in six weeks. I am absolutely horrible with names and cannot remember my amazing stylist name, but she deserves so much credit for all that she has done. She made me feel human again.

I have researched hair extensions and had several consultations. I really wanted them but had my concerns. After visiting this salon and talking to Desiree about the hair extensions I made the decision at that moment to get them. She spent time with me. Explaining the different options and what the process is putting them on. She matched up the hair extensions color to my hair color perfectly. Because I made the decision after the consultation and said YES let’s do it she rearranged her schedule to put them on. Best decision ever!! I absolutely love them. Desiree knows her stuff and I highly recommend her. Sure a little discomfort sleeping because of the hair extensions but nothing that a SILK pillow case and soft UGG pillow can’t fix. The staff was also nice and professional!!! Thank you Desiree!!

Everyone was pleasant. However, I felt that the stylist that worked on my hair wasnt listening to what I was looking for or my ultimate goal. The manager and her chatted but never asked me what I wanted. As much as I tried to cheer up, I found it tough until I met up with my daughters hairstylist. Brooke saved my day. She fixed what I didnt like and helped me feel like I was very important. She listened to what I wanted and was very patient and caring. Need a great stylist who listens to your needs and passionate in her work, call Brooke! Shes awesome! They have awesome pedicures and nail styles too. But, hair was most important to me sense my past experience was horrific! Thanks Brooke for your awesome work!

Its an okay hair salon, but for $65 Ive gotten better haircuts, my personal water bottle, and havent had to write my information on a notebook personalized with a sharpie. Honestly, my issue is just the price for the quality of service. If they are trying to be a high-end salon, they need to go all the way. Im glad I tested it out with a Groupon first and didnt dish out $65.

Stylist did not know to how to cut curly hair. She shampooed and did not condition. She then blow dried with on high heat, and flat ironed it pin straight. After she straightened it, she cut my hair dry. All of which is how NOT to cut curly hair. I left very disappointed and will not be going here anymore. Back to doing my haircuts at home, haven’t failed me before; I shouldn’t have opted for the change...

I was yesterday afternoon to this salon for a haircut, highlights and style and Brooke was my hair stylist. She did a great job! She took her time to help me decide what I want, she explained me what is the best choice for me! She was very patient with me! The place was very clean! The ladies that are working there were constantly makins sure the place is clean! I would recommend this place!

I received a great cut, hi-light, shampoo, and style by Heather yesterday. Heather was very professional and knowledgeable about giving me the exact cut and color I wanted. The receptionist greeted me with a warm smile and was very professional and courteous in making me feel welcome. I would highly recommend this salon and will be coming back.

I walked in and got a haircut and hair lightened, to blend my salt N pepper gray. After hearing suggestions, had my ears and nose waxed. I never would have thought of getting my nose and ears waxed, but after seeing all the waxed hair, I was very happy. Service and value are excellent. I will definitely be going back!

Benjamin Hair & Co. has been offering me different types of luxury beauty services since last four years. I visit this salon often and enjoy their awesome hair and beauty treatments from the experts of this field. I love the ambiance and the staffs are very helpful as well as knowledgeable too.

I’ve never had a worse hair salon experience. This was my first time here and I was with Brooke (short white hair). She spent a great deal of time picking out tangles that she made and was quite forceful in ripping them out. When I walked out of the salon and ran my fingers through my hair there were still tangles in it. The texture of my hair now feels like hay -thin and dead. It feels worse than it did when I walked in. I didn’t say anything about wanting white strands in my hair but something happened in the coloring and now there are some. The stylist offered to fix the white but I honestly couldn’t stand to be in the salon any longer because I was already so fed up. My hair feels damaged and I’m not happy. I was offered a glass of water and when I received it there was a hair in the water and there were white particles in it. I didn’t drink it. The glass was dirty.I wouldn’t recommend this salon to anyone. I paid $280 for my hair to get damaged and my hair getting ripped out from tangles she made. $280 is a lot for a college student to dish out for a horrible hair job. It wasn’t worth that amount of money and I regret trying this place out.

I freaking love it hair I been coming here for 2 years and DESIRE is the lady!!!! I always get extensions and she is the master. I will not go no where else but here. I found her 2 yrs. ago when i Google hair shops when I came to visit San Antonio and I always came back since then. SHE IS AMAZING GOOD SERVICE!!!! Never no complaints she does my hair perfect I go from a short bob to long and beautiful every time I see her. SHE MAKES ME LOOK LIKE A MOVIE STAR. Brittany is awesome. I made a dramatic change today- from a shoulder length bob to a short pixie. I walked in nervous, but Brittany put me at ease. She gave good advice, asked my opinion, listened to my input, and cut according to how my hair behaves. (wavy) This was my first time here, but Ill be back to see Brittany again for sure.

Do not let Brooke cut your hair! Overall the salon has great reviews so I figured everybody there was great but I was mistaken. I told Brooke that I wanted to keep my same hairstyle that I had but just take off an inch from everywhere. After cutting one side she had me stand up with a mirror to look at the back of my hair and she told me to make it even on the other side we were going to have to take off more. She ended up taking off 3.5! I only wanted 1off. On top of that when she was blow drying my hair she hit my head with the blow-dryer 11 times. I have never left a salon more Furious!

Found the Groupon Thursday, snagged an appointment for Friday (way fast). The receptionist was very nice, on the phone and in person. Heidy was my stylist; shes amazing! I explained how nervous I was in a new salon and she took my worries and made them null. Love my cut, love my style, love my experience!

I have been visiting Benjamin Hair Salon for few years and I am very happy with their hair cutting service. Whether it is special hair color like ombre or some trendy haircut; they are good in everything. I love the friendly ambiance of the beauty salon as well.

Ive visited this salon numerous times for brazilian blow outs and have never had any issues. My hair was always silky and smooth for almost a month which was I loved coming back. Unfortunately, my last visit wasn’t as pleasant. I came in on Saturday expecting the same results but was greatly disappointed. After three days of not washing my hair, according to the procedure, I finally washed it with the same shampoo I always use after my blowouts and after a few hours my hair was completely frizzy and not shiny at all. I called and they recommended i straightened it which was never necessary in my previous visits. The whole point of a blowout is to not have frizz and see shiny hair without a straightener. I then went in and they offered to shampoo and straighten it which again should be unnecessary after the procedure. A shampoo and straighten is not a solution to a bad brazilian blowout. Not to be rude against the stylist, she was very nice and professional but after previous visits and a 200 blowout i was expecting a solution to this problem. At this point, id rather have my money back and take my business somewhere else because a 200 dollar brazilian blowout should not leave my hair in bad shape.Today on the August 3 went back to re do the Brazilian blowout. Very nice the manager did hear me out. Thank you the stylist was the same. I’am happy and happy with the results now. Will be back for sure!Thank you so much!!!!!!!!

They have very good hair washing stations where you feel very comfortable while your head is tilting backwards. The stations just support your head perfectly. They have very comfortable recliners as well, with very good background mix of music.

As per my knowledge Benjamin Hair & Co. is the best place for hair color correction. They have retouched my hair color and make it more gorgeous than before. They have done a splendid job.

I was looking for Blonde Hair Specialist in San Antonio as I was planning for coloring my hair blonde. They have experienced specialist and did hair color absolutely great. I am very much happy and satisfied with the service.

Got my hair extensions done by Desiree Dembeck which was a bad mistake!! Completely unsatisfied because I tried to reach out to her many times after had them done and no response until 4th day. Her excuse was she was busy... ! I was trying to reach out to her for the following issues I was having.My extensions were packed in my head which made them heavy, bled some type of color when washed the first 2 times and left black color in my ears! She, Desiree had stated they were 100% Natural human hair extensions so I dont understand why they bled color as I washed my hair.. She used tape extensions and cut them in pieces to install with microbeads.. Also the fact that the microbeads were visible through my hair was worse enough.3 packets of hair extensions was way to much on my head.. and I know this because Ive had tape extensions and I know 3 packets was not necessary. I paid too much money for the type of hair extensions I got installed and how they were installed. Plus I had to put so much hair oil in my hair to make them feel soft because they were very coarse and had a funny smell to them..like they were half synthetic. In the end she wanted to charge me a lot for another top piece because the hair extensions were visible through my hair! And after I had let her know of what issues I had she said she would remove them at no cost and give me a complimentary treatment. Really!! Couldnt resolve my issues, definitely not helpful.

First time I came here I absolutely hated it... few years later I came back and things had definitely changed. The girl who did my hair did so well that I cried in my car haha... I didn’t expect my hair to feel and look so good!!

I am from out of town and I wanted a color and cut. When I sat down, I told the stylist I want color closer to my natural roots, and she asked me if I wanted lowlights or all over color. I couldnt answer that question, and the consult just snowballed from there. She asked me why I didnt bring a picture, and I called in and booked for highlight, now I changed my mind, do I want some blond or no blond? I could not respond to all her questions, because I didnt prepare for an INTERROGATION at the salon today... I pulled up a picture on google, and she then called another stylist into the consultation. Why, when I got a picture, she didnt just start the color, I dont know. Calling another stylist made me feel like I was being difficult when I literally only said I dont know. Finally I told her forget it all! No color, no cut, no way in hell youre touching my hair... suggestion: offer your professional advice to clients, be cheerful, dont make people feel like they owe YOU anything!
