Went in to get some product and the lady who moved her to Texas last year rung me up. She was not very friendly. I am new to the area & it seemed like a problem for the lady to have to enter me into their system as I haven’t shopped at this location before. The Armstrong McCall associates in atx are so much friendly and welcoming. Will not be shopping here again I will go out of my way to another Armstrong.

Veronica went above and beyond ! Her customer service is on point I was in desperate need of pravana chrome silk violet. along with viral shampoo and conditioner in purple!!!! she called as soon as it was received!!! looking forward to getting her help again.

I’ve had my cosmetology license since 1997. I have been going to Armstrong McCall since it was at the Topperwein location and the service has also been impeccable. As of lately it’s has rapidly declined in customer appreciation and service. After reading the reviews I’m glad I’m not alone in this matter. The silver haired Hispanic woman in her late forties or early fifties has made shopping at this location awful. She is by far the worst person to represent our industry and Armstrong McCall. She claims she is the owner of that location and maybe she feels like she doesn’t need to use common decency to the people who frequent that location. I will no longer go to that location and will use Princess Beauty Supply.

I wanted to buy a few things for my wife as a gift, and the store came up when I googled it.Clean store. Neat and organized. Very good COVID protocols in place. I wasnt aware this was a store for licensed professionals only when I walked in, the lady Ive seen some folks here refer to as the silver hair lady was very helpful and professional explaining to me how the store works, my wife happens to be a licensed professional and she told me I could bring her in and open an account, which we did.Definitely will keep coming back.I guess I should have read the sign before walking in.I interacted with some other customers while in there, which apparently have a hard time comprehending rules, very rude by the way.

This location deserves no stars!The old Mexican lady there with the white blue hair was is very rude. I had to keep my composure as a gentleman the whole time in there.She needs to be fired, definitely isn’t a good look for the store/brand.Will not return

Good service but products are not priced

3 time was ask if I need help!!! I said nooo the first time. Plus I was very disappointed on the place they dont have prices on any of the products

I came with in with my client and with my license in hand. The employee wouldn’t allow my client in, which was fine totally understandable. But when I asked for Pravana. She proceeded to roll her eyes when I asked nicely to see the Pravana products. If you see the lady in mid 30s-40s with Platinum white hair turn back she will give the most attitude eye rolls included.

Older Mexican woman was rude n didnt offer assistance, then made me wait on her and maybe 2 people in store n another employee by the register, that one put heavy item in one small bag (1) just spend over 1 hundred dollars, and this the service I get, they suck for Customer assistance, if I didnt need to purchase my products there, i certainly wouldnt come back!!! Ive been in business for 26 years and never this bad, been going there, stay home if you dont want to work!!!

Being new to San Antonio and not knowing the city very well, Siri has routed me to EVERY Armstrong & McCall in town!!! Lucky I found this location. Although every location has been great, this one is by far my favorite. Why? The staff is always extremely professional, helpful and most of all kind. Wow, I mean they go out of their way to be helpful and sugary sweet. Please choose this store, you’ll be happy you did. Woooooooo! Oh, and buy Rusk; the new gels are AMAZING!!!

The young girl working had the knowledge to answer my questions and help me decide what products to get. She was very polite and welcoming. I didnt get her name but my receipt said etorr. I will definitely be back to this location.

THE EMPLOYEES HERE ARE SUPER RUDE. STAY CLEAR AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION IF YOU CAN. Its evident from other reviews that Im not the only one who has experienced their rudeness!!

I havent been to all the Armstrongs in the area, but out of those I have, this is the one I prefer, despite it being a little smaller than some of the others. Service has always been friendly, the staff is knowledgable and helpful, the place is well-stocked and organized (they seem to constantly restock product and straighten the shelves--I havent been in a single time when someone wasnt doing that), its rare to run across an item without the price clearly marked, and sales are clearly marked as well. Some of the other locations fall short in these areas, so Ill continue to be a customer of this one.

Cashier was friendly and helpful. This location is one of my favs in SA.Update 10/8/20: Current staff on a Monday was not friendly but I got what I needed and left. I prefer other locations over this one.

First time visiting the store and faced some rude unprofessional employee . I just wanted to smell the shampoo and she came saying you can’t open it !! How am I suppose to buy something and won’t be able to know what the smell gonna be like !! Anyway, they lost one customer.

Very helpful staff and knowledgeable. Good sales, store nice and clean. Always an AMC fan for my hair needs.
