I have bonded with my truck. Weve been through a lot. So, to see it damaged just breaks my heart. To be skeptical that it will be fixed as good as new leaves some feeling of degredation. I can say that I regret only a few things in my life and handing my truck over to Service King was definitely NOT one of them. I was threated to my best car repair experience ever, just when you thought you were too old to experience such a thing. From the beginning, Service King presented a very welcoming and concerned attitude. They gave me a sense of Weve got this, that eased my stress level as I left my vehicle there. The whole process was transparent, in that, I got a text everyday on the status of my truck. Sometimes two, if I had questions. The vehicle was ready way ahead of the agreed date, and it looked great, immaculate and new. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all those employees whom touched my truck and life. And to convey to those running the organization that transparency is good, and Im not sure that you can improve on the process but its great. Keep up the good work and Gods speed. Took my F250 to get tail lights installed and the service was more than excellent. Exceeded my expectations. Jewels, Brandon (Manager), and the staff kept me well informed on my vehicles progress and even covered my $50 deductible due to some unexpected delays. So I hit a porcupine on 1604. I know right! Who does that? Of course, me. Allstate sent me here but they said I could choose any body shop. Well, Jules, Brandon and all the customer service reps that I encountered were so nice! I called some other places and it all seemed about the same price for the body work I needed. So I went with Service King and I’m glad I did. They are super professional and keep you informed and updated really well. Even take the rental back for you and everything. I’ll admit I haven’t been to a lot of body shop places because I’m usually a very careful driver (RIP porcupine) but if y’all need work don’t hesitate to use this location. 10/10 definitely recommend! Work done perfect and super fast. Incident on Monday everything was fixed like new, fresh and clean by Friday.

One of my headlights was not aligned properly & was shining very low. Ijust pulled in without an appointment to see if they could possibly realign the headlight real quick. Jules & Charles were prompt & so very helpful!! Charles professionally aligned my headlight right away FOR FREE!! Only 20 minutes later, I drove away! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

First off, I would like to say that I did not want to write this negative review – however, with all the stuff that has happened, I feel it’s called for. My experience with this Service King has been a waking nightmare. I will try to keep this as concise as possible.I guess I should start by saying I have a 2017 Toyota RAV4 that I purchased in October of 2017. Unfortunately, some road debris hit the front of my car - messing up my hood and sunroof. Service King kept my car for two months to complete these repairs.Once I got my car back, I noticed my phone would not connect to the Bluetooth – so, I took my car back thinking they possibly forgot to plug in the microphone. After waiting an hour in the waiting room I was told the service tech threw away the part… so once the part came in, they could come to my office to replace the Bluetooth component. Once that was fixed a couple of days later, my passenger seat belt cover fell off. So once again, I had to take time to have them fix the clips on the seat belt cover. I have attached pictures.A month later while at lunch, I noticed the rubber bumper on the roof of my car is coming up and off my car, so one more thing they messed up. My car will never be the same after an accident but good god - I shouldn’t have had this many issues with a brand new car serviced by this company. I am worried about what else will turn up in the future.To top it off, I was told I would be able to receive my deductible back because clearly they did not fix my car correctly. When it came time to getting my money back, I was then told the district manager did not approve the refund.This entire experience wasn’t professional or a good reflection of customer service at all. I am highly disappointed in my experience with Service King and will not take any of my vehicles back to any of their locations.
The Service King at Thousand Oaks & Wetmore exceeded my expectations in every way. Communication was frequent and accurate. Completion was actually one day early. The service manager (Rick) was personable and professional. They even made the call for me to send over the rental car. And did the same thing when I picked up my car. Finally, they did a great job on my car! They even washed it so it was just beautiful when I picked it up! Thank you Service King for doing such a wonderful job!
First let me start by saying, I AM NOT AN EASY CUSTOMER TO PLEASE!!! I scrutinize every inch of work done & this is the only shop that I will ever trust to work on my vehicles. I have had multiple cars with damages brought here & each time the vehicles come back better than before. My most recent experience with them though was the best representation of how these guys operate. After unfortunately hitting a deer on the way to work one night, it caused over 10k in damages to the front end of my SRT Challenger. I immediately thought of this shop even though my insurance didnt use them (the last shop my insurance did use I trusted & they allowed my last vehicle to be stolen) but since my insurance didnt work with them it meant a longer process, the wait however was well worth it for the quality of repair & care for the vehicle. They repaired the vehicle in the time they quoted me & always kept me informed. Some shops will text you updates, well they will call you physically and I appreciated this so much more as I was definitely much more informed & was able to ask questions as well as voice concerns.After picking up my vehicle a day or so after I noticed some issues and brought all of them up with the shop. They handled it amazingly, they went over all the problems I had with the car with me & towed the vehicle back to the shop & they made sure I had a rental too so I wasnt without a car in the cold weather. Every single thing I brought up they fixed, not only that when they were done they wanted to go for a test drive to make sure I was happy with the repairs... I was. This shop took time to get to know me, and my car, they made sure to keep me informed, and they were professional and kind every step of the way. I will only trust this Service King location. The people who made my experience exceptional & special were General Manager Brandon Tanguma & Service Advisor Chris Lyerla.

After two car accidents 15 mins apart, neither one of them your fault and your 5 year old child was in the car you can only imagine the frustration surrounding my car repairs.Service King was amazing from beginning to end.Professional and personable staff made this a quick and painless process.I was kept well informed on my vehicle repair and completion expectations were very reasonable. I had a great overall experience and though I was receiving service under unfavorable circumstance they now have a customer for life.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I took my truck in due to a accident because my insurance company asked me to go there first mistake. When dropping it off I asked the lady if it was ok that I leave my tools in the tool box and some in the cab of my truck and she said it was fine that she would keep it parked inside the bays because they only had 6 cars. 2nd mistake I asked are you sure and she said yes so I left my tools and my belongings in my truck. About a week or so later I received a call from my insurance adjuster that my truck was going to be totaled. On the same day I received a call from the manager of service king. He stated that my truck had been broken into last night service king was just calling to inform me. I asked him what service king was going to do about it and he said nothing that I signed a waiver when I dropped my truck off that said service king is not responsible for any theft or damage to my vehicle while It is on service king’s property . Oh wow. The only thing I signed was a IPad that had line on it and I even asked the lady if it was ok and safe to leave my tools and personal effects in my trucks and she still never said anything to that effect. Never handed me any paperwork or anything that I signed. The only thing she told me that I was signing was a release to work on my truck. When I went to to Service King to assess the damage and file a police report I noticed that there were no marks on the cab of my truck like no entry Mark’s. They left the truck unlocked!!! I have been in contact with the regional manager Kelly Potter where she admits to the staff leaving the truck unlocked. Ok let me tell you something the tools I had were for my business I did handywoman work and Machanic work as well. I had just finished a bathroom remodel so I had a lot of tools in my truck. Oh and my truck was conveniently parked the farthest away from all the cameras and the front of the building. I did a inventory of what was missing and it was in the $3000 range. Mrs.Potter offered me $500 knowing the value and what the tools meant to me. Offering money to someone usually is admitting to wrong doing. This is “Deceptive Trade” according to my lawyer. This is not the first time this has happened here!!!!! Please beware of this business!!!!!! The break in to my tool box was very obvious because they did not have the keys to it but the cab of my truck had no break in Mark’s! I feel like this was a inside job! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!!!
Very professional, great communication in regards to the status of my vehicle repaired. I never had to call to find out the status. Daily updates sent. They communicated with my insurance company and the rental car company. Highly recommend this company.

I was told this place would be closest to me for a repair on my car that my parents neighbor backed into, and at first I was worried because of the ratings. Boy was I wrong. The people were nice, the job was done DAYS quicker than it should have been, and it was all done perfectly. I will always go back here or recommend this place for anyone in need of repair.
Totally happy with my repair work at Service King Thousand Oaks. George Renfroe was my service advisor and he was very pleasant to work with as was everyone that I even had minimal contact with. Brought my vehicle in on a Wednesday and got it back on Friday. Not only was this location convenient for me, but the repair area looks better than the rest of my car now. I would not hesitate to recommend this location.
Chris was Ann amazing help! He got my Malibu in and out asap! All the staff I had met were very nice and accommodating. They kept me informed the whole way through my repairs. I never worried or wondered. Defiantly will be going back here if I ever have to again!

Took car in for a small repair due to hitting a tire tread on the highway.The estimate appointment was only a day away, which was nice. Car was dropped off a week later. Had the front and rear bumper redone, along with a sideskirt replacement. The text updates are nice and everything came out looking good EXCEPT for part of the front bumper near the hood (see pictures). This was NOT there before taking the vehicle in.I initially didnt say anything about it, I thought it had been there before, but then I remembered that I had the front bumper redone, and that it looked as if paint had pooled and dripped down. No big deal, should be covered under warranty, right? Well, after giving them a call, they stated that they didnt even touch the front bumper. Which is a flat out lie, even reading the estimate and repair papers, they did work to the front bumper.UPDATE 11/28: Was called by the manager, Brandon, who seemed genuinely concerned which made me feel a lot better. Going to have it looked at later this week. Bumping to 3 stars for management caring.Update 12/1/17: Had the car looked at today, and was told the clear coat pooled on a rock chip that had been there before, which is something I can see happening. They took it back to the paint team and had it fixed in 15 minutes. They are very nice at this location, I dont mind having to come back, however, I wish this wouldve been addressed when we were given the car back. Up to 4 stars for fast, good work and friendly staff.

This was the first time I have ever had to take my car in due to a collision. Thanks to Chris and all the people at service king they made it so quick and simple I was soo happy they didnt give me any unnecessary information. They were straight to the point and soo kind and reassuring. Im a young college student and doing this by myself was way better then Ive ever been treated before. This guy hit my car from behind and he is insured with Elephant Insurance. I am not sure if this is the location I want to take my car after reading the wonderful reviews. Elephant insurance said these guys are on their preferred list.Well I have been calling all day to make an appointment and the phone rings twice and goes into fast busy. I will try a couple of more times if they dont answer I might have to call Elephant to give me another one of their preferred location addressGod help me.
I was apprehensive to take my truck here to be repaired due to the reviews I read. I spoke to my insurance company and they use Service King as a preferred collision repair center here in San Antonio, and they informed me that they havent had complaints from their members. I went ahead and decided to give them a chance and I am glad we did. Jewels was super nice and helpful. She called me to set up the initial appointment and checked in with me to see if I had any concerns or questions while my truck was there. Chris L. was our service advisor and he kept me in the loop every step of the way with the repairs. The customer service here has been amazing and my truck looks incredible. This whole process was fast and I got my truck back in a efficient time frame. Im so glad that we took a chance using Service King. We dont regret it at all. Its so great to know that there still is quality customer service out there!

You be the Judge Chris L. was my advisor and every time I asked a question he gave a condescending answer. I feel like he treated me like I was a child and it didnt matter that I was coughing up five hundred dollars. I hope I dont need a body shop again but I dont think I will use this shop again. The work was good but Chris was rushing everything. Also he called too many times at least 10 times. I was at work and he kept calling. When I was leaving is the only time he was nice and he had the nerve to ask me to comeback if the need arises. I never corrected his rudeness. I called corporate and complained because his customer service was unacceptable every single time I asked a question. In my opinion customer service is just as important as the service rendered!
I brought my Dodge Challenger here after a hit and run. I was skeptical when they were just going to take my car without discussing what they were going to fix. Even upon discussing the fix I was a bit worried. But they turned it around, quickly. They kept in communication with me regularly and they gave me a reasonable fix date. Then they beat the date by a week. So not only did I get my car back early, it was also in great condition. The paint guy did a solid job, and the body itself was matched perfectly. I hope I dont have to come back, but if I do, I wont worry.

I just picked up my vehicle from this location and although my repair was minor, I couldnt be happier! From the beginning they made the process so stress-free in a very stressful situation. Jewels Reyes assisted in getting my parts pre-ordered because I didnt have rental, she kept me informed when my parts arrived (which was very quick) and when I went into the office, Conrad Muth took over and got my vehicle in and out in a timely manner. Everyone in the shop was courteous and the customer service was exceptional. I hope I dont need to bring my vehicle in for repairs but if it happens, I know exactly where to go!! Thank you all!
Everyone was nice and George made sure we knew what was happening with our vehicle. The repair took a bit longer than originally estimated, but it came back looking like new.
Used Service Kings through an insurance claim and the experience was horrible from the beginning. Conrad was my rep and I had no communication with him other than the 2 minutes when he looked over my car, and could not get in contact with him after several attempts. When I picked up my car there was a chunk missing out of my front seat (which looks like a tool cut through the leather and gouged out the foam) in which the Manager Brandons response was that it was an old car and bound to happen at some point so they would do nothing about the damage their tech caused. There are plenty of small businesses that we should be supporting instead, take your money (even insurance money) elsewhere.
I went because they were preferred according to my insurance. I’ve been dealing with poor workmanship issues since November at the 1000 Oaks location.
Do yourself a favor. Take your car somewhere else.I wish Id read the reviews before going to this shop. Not only did we have to wait three weeks for an appointment for the estimate, but having waited four months for a time we could have the repair done, due to scheduling problems with a summer internship, now they wont honor my appointment because I missed that 20 minute slot. Now they wont see us for another two weeks.It took two weeks for them to repair a simple fender bender from last summer. This shop is poorly managed, continuously taking in more work than they have the staff to perform.Unless you have months to wait, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Despite what they act like, they are not the only game in town.
Had an accident and my insurance company had me choose a body shop, thought about it for awhile and this shop came to mind just because I see it everyday right before the railroad tracks coming home with their giant sign. Frequently updated me on the status of my 2013 scion frs letting me know when parts came in what phase was my car in wether it be in the installing or paint. Explained to me the details of what to do and not to do over all experience amazing. Thank you for your support

Rude staff. USAA said they were near my home for a claim. I went in for an estimate and the guy just kept saying oh we dont do those. We only work for 3 insurances. ZERO customer service skills. Go anywhere else.
I was sent to Service King by USSA after their insured hit my car. The worst service I have ever experienced. First, I had to wait a week for the repair estimate. Once I was there Chris, the person doing the estimate, was rude and not very informative. He told me that the the entire bumper would need to be replaced and that repairs would be high. It look like a couple of scratches to me. He then tried to schedule the appointment for 2 months away. When I told him I might take it somewhere else--he told me I could leave and he would email the estimate. He then sent a very low estimate (which surprisingly did not include a bumper) to the insurance company and told them to send me the check since they werent doing the repairs. When I saw the estimate I called back to have them do the repairs and he then said they had no dates for 6 months. If you go there be careful. I dont think honesty is high on their list of priorities. I only wish there was something lower than one star.

3 Weeks to fix a broken out rear window? Are you kidding me. I never got a call back as promised and when I brought that up and was reassured time and time again, I still had to initiate all conversations as to the status of my vehicle.Very Poor Service.This has been the same with the two vehicles I have taken as part of insurance process and that was over a year apart.Not impressed-

Whomever was working on Saturday morning, October 27th was extremely rude to a 16 year old girl in her first accident. Condescending, impatient and not willing to set the repair appointment three weeks out to coincide with a vacation schedule. Instead he wanted to pontificate that there was rental car coverage and stated that she didnt need to wait until she was out of town to leave it. Clearly he doesnt know what he is talking about as there is not a rental car agency that will give a 16 year old a rental car, even if there is coverage, and Im not giving my car up to my 16 year old just to accommodate his schedule.
I had my car taken here about a year ago, and they repaired everything but I did have to make a couple trips back because the headlights would not sit in the car properly. They were suppose to repair the housing on the headlights and a few other things. I recently (about a year from when my car was at Sterling) had my car taken to a different shop and when they took apart front of car they called me asking if I knew that everything underneath was held together with zip ties. You can imagine the shock. The headlight casings were broken and held back with zip ties, all of the bumper clips were broken off and tied on with zip ties, and other parts that were to be replaced were still broken. I called immediately and they would not call back, and when I eventually got a hold of someone they wouldnt say much of anything except that I had to talk to the insurance that handled it all. Whatever you do, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!!!! Unless you want them to charge for parts they never replaced because I am sure they think you will never find out.
