Our car had a dented fender and our general repair shop recommended Northside Collision Paint and Body…not to be confused with the dealership.Met with Javier at 10 am where he gave us an option to try Paintless Dent Repair, which is cheaper than replacing and painting the fender. He called at 3 pm the same day to tell me they had finished the work and it was ready to be picked up. The fender looks like new!The shop was clean, orderly, and professional.Javier was honest and the work was top notch!I highly recommend this business.

Spoke with an advisor Chris Calvo, did not listen or understand what I wanted . I took my car in for a quote on my lunch break after scheduling an appointment with a receptionist who told me work would not be performed until communication was made of the cost for the repair. Told Chris i wanted 2 quotes one for electrical and one for the damages . He was very short and said i needed to sign a paper and send over an email from my insurance with the estimate they gave me. I found it odd that he did not call me that same day so I called the next day if there was any word on the quote and he said oh no sorry I sent in for repair . Basically this company made me fix my car with them and stated I was obligated because he had me sign that paper. I am so disgusted that I was taken advantage of. Spoke to manager who blamed me for signing paper.

Awful pricing. $3800 quote and we had to retrieve parts. Same work at ServiceKing $1800 and they get the parts. Northside Collision will happily rip you off if given the chance.

I took my Toyota Tundra into the shop last week for an insurance claim. Mark was very professional and efficient in coordinating all the logistics associated with my claim; rental car; and repair. Mark communicated with me serveral times while my truck was in the shop and he was very transparent which I appreciated. Best service and output of any dealership or collision repair business weve seen in San Antonio. Weve needed collision repair four times in 14 years. Ouch! Finally found Northside Collision by researching customer and insurance company reviews. Have used them twice in the last six months. First, customer reception was outstanding; almost a family feeling upon entry. Second, damage appraisal was thorough and clearly explained with offers of alternative methods of repair to save dollars if needed. Third, repairs were fast and the best weve seen. Had used our dealership before and will never do that again to avoid the high expense, indifferent attitude and poor quality repair. Fourth, Northside Collision kept us abreast of work progress until pickup. Had rental cars on sight if we had needed one. Finally, the owner called us personally for pick up and checked us out after walking around the vehicle for final inspection. For a major repair, they included a detailing of our truck, and it looked better than new!Northside Collision out performed our two very well known, major dealerships. Had a little fender bender, Chris Hernandez was very nice and provided a detailed estimate for the repairs. The price was better than 2 other shops I had checked with. I dropped my car off on Monday, and Tuesday around noon Chris called to let me know that the body repairs were already complete!!! Great customer service, excellent repair work. We received outstanding, quality, and friendly service, from the team at Northside Collision. Its been about three years since Northside took care of the major damage to our car but we never submitted a review. We have had a good amount of time to use the car and evaluate the work that was done. We have not had any problems or issues re their work on our car and the workmanship continues to be excellent. The company owner, Mark, personally got involved from the start of the job to finish to insure our accident repair on our 2012 Nissan Altima, which had extensive front end damage, was done correctly and professionally. Chris from the Customer Relations department did an excellent job-- working closely with the insurance company--making sure all the needed repairs were identified, submitting supplemental estimates, and insuring the cost of the repairs were covered by the insurance company. They promptly started working on our car right away and completed the work in a timely and efficient manner. I would highly recommend Northside Collision to anyone that wants quality and professional work at a fair price for accident repair.

I’ve been meaning to leave this review for the past year. Had an accident in our old Camry and needed front end repair. This place went above and beyond to help us get the best deal. What impressed me the most was how friendly the staff was. I had to bring my two young boys with me, and while I was dealing with car information, I believe it was the owner or manager, helped keep my kids occupied by showing them the fish tank and teaching them all about the different fish. It was so nice and I really appreciate the staff for going way above what was necessary to make a stressful ordeal of being in an accident and repairs, as easy and friendly as possible. And the car turned out great! Highly recommend!!

I love this place, took my vehicle in one morning and told Marc that I havent had my tea,,, he fixed me a cup of tea!!! They had my truck 2 weeks and had to deal with another insurance company...what a nightmare for them! They also did a few extra things for me!!!! My neighbors asked me if I got a new truck. It was so shinny. Told them no...several other places I went people asked me if I had a new truck!!!!! Love these folks, they do such awesome work!! Amazing staff, very clean, nice waiting area and nice, clean, well kept ladies room. They meet the exacting standards of State Farm, and accommodate with onsite car rentals. I used to use a dealership up the street, but now I am sold on Northside.

Honestly I would give them a negative star if I could! When we pick up our SUV the work was unsatisfactory bubbles in the paint had to wait additional hour and we now have a gouge in the front bumper that was not there when we dropped off the suv! I will never ever use them again! My advice find another dealer!

NORTHSIDE COLLISION . After being told initially the repair would take seven days, it took over a month. They kept giving different stories and excuses about why it was taking so long.When my car was finally ready there was a 3 inch rip in my leather seat, I immediately showed them. I was told the owner Marc would call me. After at least 15 attempts to get in touch with him, and no return phone call, An employee of the owner gave me a message from Marc this morning. Northside is NOT going to fix the damage they did to my vehicle. I HAVE PICTURES WHICH SHOW IT IS A FRESH TEAR, BUT NORTHSIDE WAS AND IS NOT INTERESTED IN FIXING IT. I am beyond flabbergasted. I JUST SPENT 6K DOING BUSINESS WITH THEIR COMPANY!!!! SO DISAPPOINTED THAT A BUSINESS HAS SUCH LOW ETHICS AND INTEGRITY. Treating your customers in this way will eventually come back to bite you. It is not the cost of getting it fixed that has me so mad, but about doing the right thing in business. SHAMEFUL!!!

We had a terrible customer experience with Northside Ford Collision. I took my car here for repair (for MINOR damage). It took 8 weeks. It was impossible to reach our on-site rep by phone (mailbox always full and when we could leave a message, he never returned our calls). Communication was non existent and they met none of the deadlines we were promised. Would not recommend.

I took my car to be repaired 1 year ago to this shop. This shop charges for parts and services that they dont perform on your vehicle. They also did a really bad job on my Honda. My car was hit while parked in a parking lot and the damage was on the drivers side rear bumper and quarter panel. They were supposed to replace the bumper and fix the quarter panel and then paint the damaged areas. This shop had my car for two weeks and when I went to pick my car up the bumper had been replaced and repainted, the quarter panel had ripples in it all the way up to the roof which the repair guy said were already there but they were not before I took the car in to the shop. The paint job was really crappy their were runs in the clear coat and scratches down the door which were not there when I dropped it off for the repairs. My center console lid had been changed out to a broken one and that replacement part costs over $600 which they said was like that when I brought it to them. I DO NOT recommend this shop to anyone since they do terrible work and they steal parts off your car to use for other cars and then lie and cheat their customers. I will NEVER go to this shop again.

They just assumed because there was water in it that it was moldy and turned out that wasnt true ... Also the guy was pretty rude so yeah wont ever go back there unless he is gone and they hire someone competent

I was referred to this place after my 2008 335i was broken into and vandalized at my office. The driver side window was crow barred off and damaged the a-frame of the roof of the car. This scratched up the door, and of course some glass got into the vehicle.On arrival, everyone was nice and there were lots of high-end vehicles on the lot. I was helped out in a timely manner and we did a walk around and of course the numbers start adding up. I am told, it gets expensive and it will take longer than usual because they do it right the first time. So with that, I was happy. Its gonna take a while, but it will be the best job Ive ever seen. That was not the case. At all. Here is what was wrong upon first receipt of the car. Please keep in mind, it was raining that day and I was not able to inspect the vehicle. This is what i noticed once i got home and the rain let up.1. The paint job looked as if it was just blot sprayed on out of a can.2. The brushed chrome trim on the roof of my car and window was replaced with polished chrome.3. taking the car in I had a 1cm gap in my front bumper- getting it back was more like an inch and a half.4. The clear coat on my back bumper had been burned through and was now peeling.5. A rocker panel was removed and worked on and put back incorrectly. It was not flush.6. The windshield molding used to put back on my windshield was peeling and coming off.7. It took 21 business days to get this done.-------I have to schedule a new appointment to have the car taken in. I finally get it there and here are the remedies, or attempts to remedy. This here is what happens on the 2nd Visit and my observations after delivery of vehicle.1. They sprayed clear coat over the bad paint job and buffed it.--- You could still see the blotches2. They replaced the trim with the right one. Done.3. The gap: They said i took it in that way, cant do anything. Also,they didnt touch the bumper.4. Clear coat on back bumper: Again, they said i took it in that way, they didnt touch the back bumper. Cant do anything.5. Rocker Panel: It was like that. - it wasnt.6. Windshield Molding: They place a thick piece of white (on black trim) double sided tape to it. - it came loose within hours and was obvious to see---I go home and have a good walk around and see what i noted just above. I also decide to take a look at the receipt they gave me, i found some interesting things.I take it back again and here is what happens.3rd return of vehicle to the shop.1. They took a buffer and did a paint correction of the entire vehicle. Under a UV Light, you can see my once brilliant and smooth car is now covered in swirl marks and the paint is flat. The blotches did fade, but are still there.2. trim: Taken care of.3. Front Bumper: It was charged on my receipt and to my insurance. They said they didnt touch it but had to put it on there...4. rear Bumper: Same as 3.5. Rocker Panel: They pushed it in some. Not flush still.6. Windshield Molding: They put another piece of the same adhesive tape on it. -- Came loose in one day.------This being the 3rd time of unsatisfactory work, I called the shop and asked for a call back to see what i needed to do to get my car done right but never received a call. At this point, i am done with the shop and taking time off work and rental cars.I have had most of these things now repaired at other shops and am content.I do not know what happened as again, i see they have some high end vehicles on their lot. I refuse to believe that this is the kind of work they do, but it seems to be that way from the 3 times I have gone back and gotten no where. I was giving them a 1 star rating, but that indicates you hate the shop. The people were nice for the most part and also hate is a very strong word. If the 1 star option was Seriously disliked, then i would have used that.Bottom line:If you want to hear a really good sales pitch, then definitely schedule an appointment to get an estimate. However, I cant recommend you actually let them do the work.
