They will take forever on your vehicle, and if you call and ask for a status update (we’re talking 3 weeks out). They’ll give attitude and hang up.Don’t bother threatening to take your business elsewhere if your car hasn’t been touched in a few weeks like mine was, Bob will tell you he’s gonna bill you EVERY SINGLE DAY it sat in their shop.Stay far away, go elsewhere. If you decide to bite the bullet and give them a chance, don’t complain you weren’t warned.

I cant Express how thankful I am for this shop. I was in desperate need of assistance on my truck. I wasnt aware they close at 5pm but by the grace of God they were still there when I got there at 6pm. Instead of turning me away they graciously helped me out. Im new from houston and had no clue where to get help. They not only fixed the problem but they spent an hour working on it and didnt leave until 7pm. I dont know another shop who wouldve assisted way past closing. I pray God blesses this family with business that doesnt cease. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. Definitely going to be my shop from here on out. Not only that the price was GREAT. They dont make them like them no more.

Great service at a great price!! I had mud flaps on my 15 Ford Focus ST and I had ripped one off not paying attention. After going to numerous shops just to see who it could be done, I had given up hope that I would ever have my mud flaps again. Most places wanted me to get a new bumper ($400+paint+install,) and then install the mud flaps. We just so happen to met Chris out and about, and told him about my car. He was the first person who said they could fix it without replacing the bumper. He gave us his card and told us to drop by the shop anytime. A few weeks later we dropped by and Chris remembered us and gave us a tour of the shop, and he took a look at the car. We made an appointment to get the work done.We just got back from the shop with the work completed and I could not be more impressed!! Bob the owner was the one who actually worked on my car. He talked to us before and after and did really great work!! Diane the admin was also great answering all of our scheduling questions.

Bob and his crew are first class. Took care of my 1990 SS 454 in a few hours. Took the time and it look amazing. Thanks Bob.

I read some of the reviews and cannot speak for anyone elses experience. I was surprised at the feeling that they do not like dealing with the military. I am retired military and have taken probably 5 different cars there (for various reasons...i.e., repair, customizing, paint) over the last 10 years, and recommended many friends (many ex-military) to their shop. I can speak with certainty from my experience that there is no issue with active, retired or prior service members, nor have I ever gotten feedback from anyone I referred there sensed any issue toward military. That being said, my experience was positive, hence returning for repeat work and recommending others. Chris is always my go to guy with anything related to my vehicles.

I own the 1947 Pontiac that is pictured when you google Bob Haynes custom coach works. The car belonged to my Father in High School and was parked in a pasture for 25 years and then I fixed it up in high school. I am a Major in the US Army and dropped my car off with Bob Haynes in AUG of 2011 and made an agreement with Bob that the car would be restored within the year that I was deployed to Afghanistan. I told him that it was my lifelong dream to make it automatic with cruise control and air conditioning, and to just drive with my Dad before he passed away. I paid Bob over $10000 until my Father told me to stop because he hadnt did any work on it the whole time I was deployed. Bob kept telling my Father he would get started on it and never did. I returned from Afghanistan and the only thing that was completed was the original motor was removed. He told me to give him a little more time and he would get it done. I then got deployed again to Afghanistan and 3 weeks prior to my deployment my Father passed away and then upon my return from Afghanistan my Mother passed away. I contacted Bob a few times from Afghanistan to get the status of my car and to let him know that my Father wouldnt be by anymore to check on my car. He told me that he would get it done and when I returned after Bob having the car for 2 years the only thing that was done on the car was a new engine block and transmission nothing else. I had estimates done on what the work was worth and 4 shops stated no more than $3500, so he really lied and cheated me out of over $6000. When I picked up my car and decided I was done with him, he never apologized for not fulfilling his obligations, never even came close to saying sorry for anything. Talk about screwing over a Soldier, that is what Bob Haynes is all about. I wouldnt recommend him to anyone, he is man with no integrity, no values, obviously someone who doesnt support American Troops nor appreciates all the sacrifices that we make on a daily basis. He had so many chances to make the deal right or do the right thing, but it was obvious Bob didnt care one bit about me as his customer. If anyone wants to take their car there, please dont waste your time because Bob is truly a waste of time as is his shop!!!

Took my G37 to them that had been in an accident. My experience with body shops in the past had been bad. They usually repainted it incorrectly, making the repair look noticeable. After I got my car back from them though, to be honest, it ended up looking better than it did before the accident lol. Ask for Chris when you get there, hes the guy who I dealt with.

Everyone at Custom Coach Works is Amazing! Ive been working with them for several years now. They have helped me bring my vehicle from idea, to reality. They put up with me calling to check on the progress constantly. When I dropped in occasionally to see my truck in person, they take the time to fill me in on every step taken up to completion. Bob Hanes has had my elderly fathers truck and money for 5 years. The vehicle was drivable and in very good condition. He is a liar and a thief. Do not do business with him.

Beware, get receipts for everything, dont trust anything Bob Hayes says. He will take you on a journey which will leave you with broken promises, leave you with an unfinished car and shattered dreams. What ever you decide to do, DO NOT give him any money down. I have never met a person which can look you straight in the eyes and fabricate so many excuses and lies. BEWARE if you want your car done right. P.S. Didnt do the work that was supposed to be done, wasnt written down properly on work order,took way to long for work to be done, after waiting a month for appointment.

Gave me a 3-5 day estimate for a few dents and a scrape on my back left wheel-well. However, since then they have taken a week more than estimated and did not deliver when they said that Itll 100% be ready by friday august 12th. So far its been a bad experience.

They treat you well. Another prime example of customer service !
