I found a savior in this the “bike famine of the quarantine 2021.” This kind hearted amazing bike specialist/technician/teacher/warrior helped me to fix my bike even though the parts were no where to be found. I took his advice and went to find the rear derailleur part needed to make my Frankenstein’d bike whole again. I quickly found the part and brought it back the same day yesterday but alas I had not listened well and had grabbed the wrong type of the correct part. He then was able to fail fast and recover from my smooth brained mistake I had made with the rear derailleur part I had purchased outside of his bike shop, he had an idea because of my in-action and was able to fabricate a part from other parts in the store that had been floating around. He did some lite fabrication and created a rear derailleur from once was a famine of bike parts and fixed my bike so now it runs like smooth butter that has been touched by his golden heart and diamond hands. Can confirm I will be bringing all my bikes to be serviced here for as long as I live in Sacramento. Also to be noted he did all of these things for me over a few hour period with no rush while helping multiple customers teaching me a few more things and being an amazing father to his precious daughter who has been obliviously effected by school closures from this pandemic. This wonderful man has showed me that there are still golden people in society that care also when shown a small amount of thanks and gratitude. This is why I write this review. Thank you savior of this the “bike famine.”

I called on Super Bowl Sunday to make sure they hadn’t taken the day off and they assured me the were open. Rode up and asked if they could help me tune up my shifters that were not running through all the gears any longer. They said no problem and knew exactly what the problem was. They were even kind enough to invite me behind the counter to show me the issue so if it ever happened again I could try to sort it out on my own. He then adjust the derailers and my brakes and ran me through how to fine tune those as well. Charged me a reasonable fee that was lower than I thought it would be.

No stars for this Neighborhood bike shop...noticed they were friendlier towards certain people. Very rude !! Cant post unless you give them a star..hmmmm

Don’t take your bike here for a Trek recall. They wanted me to leave my bike there until the replacement pedals arrived with no eta. Asked to speak with a manager or owner but they refused. Go to the corporate Trek shop on K Street. I was in and out in 15 minutes with new pedals plus a $20 in store credit.

The load meter on my classic Schwinn Air Dyne failed and locked up the entire bike. This is a first generation exercise bike, parts are no longer available and finding people to work on them is hard. A new one is a big chunk of money. The employees double teamed the repair with one taking the sending unit apart and cleaning it. Then another was able to find a replacement for the cable. Ill be bringing my bicycle in for an upgrade too.

My husband and I went here today prepared to spend money. We needed new bars for my cruiser. The guy behind the counter acted like we were bothering him. He criticized me for the way I had my current bars on my bike then proceeded to say yes those suck. All if this was said with a VERY bad attitude. Needless to say we left. I was trying to spend money at a local business instead of a Big Box Store or buying on Amazon. I wanted to support my local community. Well thanks for nothing sir. So we ended up at Sutterville Bike Shop and the were GLAD to help us and we were happy to support a small business that treats a customer like they matter! Also they have a VAST inventory whereas Greenhaven Bikeshop had nothing.

I took my bike in had some creaking going on. Dan the man took my bike test rode it fixed some loose neck and skewer problems all fixed. Did his do diligence on my bike really appreciated the service. Would recommend taking your bikes and supporting your local bike shops!

Usually like to support local businesses and understand they will mark up prices 5-10%. This place marks them up 50% then tries to overcharge you at checkout.Every time I went here I got tremendously ripped off and felt like I was waking off a used car lot.Go to Suttersville Bike Company. Theyre fair and honest. This place is the total opposite.

Thieves.I took my daughters bike here to get fixed but they told me it couldnt be repaired offered to take it off our hands and give us a discount on an older version of a kids bike for a couple hundred. Thank god we didnt just trust them, we went to the bike shop by McClatchy and they fixed my daughters bike for free. And put air in her tires.

Worst bike store in Sacramento. Employees are unfriendly and rude to customers. The prices are way too high. One of the employees wouldnt give us bike advice without a fee, he literally said he was not going to tell me how to fix s tire. They wouldnt offer advice unless we paid them. The customer service is terrible. They dont allowed returns on items sold that were sold broken. Some employees ride the bikes in the store. They tried to sell me things that I didnt need and would not stop. People should definitely go to a different store. I would not spend my money here even though I live within walking distance.

Shop manager really knows his stuff. His passion and knowledge of biking really shows if you get him talking. Selection is limited but this is part of a 4 store chain so they can pull from other stores. Great to have good bike service in the neighborhood.

I recently spent about $500 between two bikes in mostly accessory add-ons and adjustments at Greenhaven Bike Shop. The accessories included baskets to each bike. One of the baskets, costing around $50, proved not to fit my needs. I found another suitable basket online and installed myself. I used the Greenhaven basket briefly twice and the new condition was unchanged. I went to Greenhaven Bike to return the basket I no longer needed. I was informed that their purchase return policy was return in ten (10) days and since it was 12 or 13 days since purchase, I was out of luck. My complaint is due to this VERY POOR MANAGEMENT POLICY. Greenhaven has lost a customer that otherwise would have gladly accepted store credit and potentially over time returned the $50 several times over.

Great advice on many issues. Havent had a chance to buy bikes or really tap into their knowledge - but so far - very impressed!

Greenhaven bike shop I called them to ask them for Pacific part they told me they had it I had to drive a half an hour to get there and they didnt have it this place as poor customer service I wouldnt come here for nothing I wouldnt go there at all

Bicycles can be assembled by themselves or by the store manager, or they can be bought separately. The price in the shop is not cheap, suitable for professional cyclists.
