Capitol Yamahas parts department is by far one of the best parts departments I’ve dealt with. Jordan Miracle runs the parts department there and always succeeds to bring good customer service, gear and equipment to the store. There hasn’t been a time I went in there and Jordan didn’t exceed my expectations and ease of finding parts for me. He is very knowledgeable on the incoming technology and equipment in his industry and knows the best parts as well as outfitting you with a good bike setup or whatever it is you need parts for! Go see Jordan in the parts department and get your gear or your ride in check
I recommend going in and asking for Jordan when you need parts or gear . He is so helpful to me and is always going the extra mile. He’s got a great personality and is well educated at what he is doing . Always on top of it !
John, Jordan, Trevor and Mike are the regular life savers here at Capitol Yamaha, they each have specificity helped me with learning the needs of a bike and have just over all provided the most amazing customer service I have experienced each time I come into Capitol Yamaha. I truly appreciate these hard working men that make sure each need is met and communicated with the customer. They just over all are a golden team that reflect the company and community extremely well.Capitol Yamaha is the shop to go for any Yamaha needs and you WILL NOT be disappointed.
Jordan a lot of help and very nice
This guy is a Yamaha dealer but they won’t work on a Yamaha banshee because it’s 10 years old I asked him for two things top and rebuild on my banshee which pretty much they refused and second I asked them for a front wheel alignment And they told me it has to be super clean no grease and no aftermarket parts that’s the only way we will do a wheel alignment..To the owner of this location..please stop calling yourself a Yamaha service center because you’re not..The shop is for rich people with brand new Quads!!!! You guys are a joke picking in choosing what you guys wanna work on!!!
I have visited this store on multiple occasions. Jordan has helped me with parts every time. Whether just getting oil or special ordering parts, Jordan has been more than helpful. I would recommend parts from this store every time.
Bought 2 new wave runners 6 hrs and we have battery issues third trip out tire blows rim crumbles apparently none of this is there problem according to Trevor and mike Trevor said if I want it fixed take it to a trailer shop they can’t get parts said they put a new battery in it but went to lake and guess what it don’t start I bought a new battery no problem since so when does the warranty come into play apparently here it does not really bad service Trevor re assured me he would handle it when I brought him the bill for repairs he had a different story not paying it and told me to leave so buyer beware if you want Yamaha go somewhere else they do not stand bye there product so I’ll be contacting Yamaha to see we’re my warranty stands new wave runners and trailer and I got 700 in repairs plus the tires on the trailer are 4 years old and weathered so I had to buy 2 new tires the mechanic also did not put lug nuts on my trailer tire good thing we saw it Trevor made us tighten them no records given to us on the repairs made probably because there was none also they were suppose to do the Yamaha lube guess we don’t get that either
The Absolute Best Motorcycle/ATV Store In California! It was like buying a Motorcycle/ATV from your best friend who has the knowledge and personality to make you smile with confidence. Thank you again Capitol Yamaha!
Took my Vstar 1100 in for an oil change and get new tires installed. Michael in service was extremely helpful and patient with answering all of my questions. He above and beyond and delivered my bike exactly when he said. I recommend Capitol Yamaha for all of your motorcycle needs.
Terrible service. I went in today 5/8 ready to buy an R1 and drive it off the lot but they couldn’t care less. If they showed some interest they’d have an easy sell. Let’s see if the next dealership wants my money
Please be very cautious with doing business with this company. They are shady here are the facts. I made a deal over phone with a salesman from Capital Yamaha. I placed a down payment over phone to hold until we could make it to the dealership from out of town. I sent my wife to complete financing on said agreement. She went to dealership and sat down with Trevor, she was in a hurry to sign I did not review cost. This is completely my fault I know I should have reviewed cost but at the time I was working and could not review. I had trust and confidence in Trevor he would take care of this deal. My wife brought the paperwork to me out of town for review and to my surprise the cost had increased $2500. I called Trevor our salesman and asked why cost had increased he stated he did not agree to $25K out the door cost and that $27,608 was the cost that was financed with my wife. Trevor tried to play my wife and me against each other, stated if deal was broken then it would damage our credit. Trevor grew angry told me I had to come to dealership to return paperwork and close the deal. I asked for him to review the cost and the agreed price, he then hung up on me. I called back and requested to speak to a manager, Debbie was great listened and then said she would discuss with the owner Dana. Dane stated he would let us out of contact. I contacted Dana direct to resolve. I explain my side, that I wanted the trailer at agreed price and informed him I had purchased a trailer for UTV. Dana stated I was making accusations he reviewed contact that the price was correct and that his salesman never agreed to this cost. What we want is for this company to stand behind the cost agreed and to make this RIGHT! I own a small business and would never treat a customer this way. Now I’m stuck with a trailer, no UTV and we had trips planned to ride with family and friends. This company has no empathy or concern for their customers only the bottom line. Caution ⚠️ please be careful do not trust this company!
Definitely one of my go to places and the team is awesome! Everyone there are nice and very helpful but I usually prefer Jordan. The guy hooks it up and knows what I’m looking for.
Took my ski for service the same day off! Fast and friendly service
Hello i am from bulgaria do you have a yamaha raptor 700r se and can i buy it online thanks
Fast deal buying the last 2021 mt07. I did call one other local to me dealership I asked about the otd cash price and their reply was we dont talk about price over the phone I hung up in his face. Then I called CYS instantly they say let me get you the otd which was way more fair than gp in San Jose. 1.3hr drive and 30 minutes in the dealer I was out the door with my new 2021 mt07. The entire staff was friendly. My sales person was Trevor awesome dude who rides dirt. If I or you ever need another yammie check this place out they are straight forward no bs
Awesome...great service from Trevor and Jordan!!!!
Always my go to place best customer service out there. Everyone is super nice and knowledgeable I always try to find Jordan definitely knows there stuff I always go there preferred to any of the competitors you will always be taken care of
Used to be my favorite shop but mechanic quality and customer service seems to have gone down in the last few years while prices are up. $6400 bike cost additional $2000 out the door. Apparently they dont include their dealer markup or delivery fee which seems deceptive. Anyways I got the same brand new bike elsewhere for about $1200 less out the door even though the advertised price was higher. Also Pete was a very rude, pushy salesman. Last time I went here to get an oil change they complained about taking the fairings off, and they would charge me $100 more next time. Seems unprofessional for them to not know that about their own brands motorcycle, and I had to top up the oil when the light came on the next day. No leak just underfilled.... needless to say Ill take my bikes to a more competent shop if Im too lazy to do my own work
Unbelievable customer service from Jordan Miracle! Got me all lined up and had all my parts ready for me when I came in to pick up a new bike. Best service I’ve had.
Good shop, tho small. But good!
Jordan was pretty helpful so thanks again
Pros: The service department is top notch. Ive had all my work done there and never been disappointed.Cons: A blonde woman who works there that was rude to me, a customer who was asking about bikes on the show room floor and a customer on the phone.I figured she must be related to the owner or be friends with someone working in the shop. I will not buy a bike from them because of her.
Was told for over a month that my bike was going to be there any day, then finally was told that they actually didnt have my bike at all and wouldnt be able to get it.
Honestly hands down best service in Sacramento. Ive been a customer since 2016 when I bought my 8th bike, a brand new R1. They are very helpful in all aspects to get you riding and keep you riding.
Absolutely blown away by the level of service at Capitol Yamaha. Was looking for a Stacyc electric strider bike for my 3 year old son for Christmas. Kevin went so far above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of like family. He was prompt, courteous, and professional. He even was willing to meet me on a Sunday when the shop was closed in order for me to have it in time for Christmas! He also gave me a price break to help compensate for the 4 hour round trip drive I had to make in order to get it. As I’m typing this I also remember him being willing to meet me half way!!! Absolutely unheard of! Will definitely be returning and asking for Kevin every single time! Thank you!!!
Jordan was a big help on making sure I got my part I been Waiting for he took initiative and made it happen
I ordered some parts and the staff especially Justin in parts was very knowledgeable about what I needed. He took the time to make sure I had everything I needed and the shipment arrived super fast and 100% complete. I would recommend doing business with capital Yamaha to all my dirt biking community.
Julie and Debbie are great, knowledgeable and make it fun to purchase a Waverunner. Definitely recommend Capital Yamaha and the crew for your power sports needs.
Nice people !! Ive been a customer since 1980!! Its nice to be able to goto a place you can trust!
Great service, thanks to Julie. Knowing shes a fellow Yamaha rider, I knew Id get the right part I needed for Raven, my 2017 FZ-10... extremely satisfied and would highly recommend them...THANKS!
Honestly I didnt expect to walk out with a bike. I loved all the bikes i saw, and it was amazing. And I wanted a bike badly but didnt think I could. But with Petes help and hard work and determination he was able to help me get a bike. And now I own my dream bike. And I couldnt be happier.
This place will not get another penny from me. Second part Ive ordered in 2 months, and the second part ive had to wait 2 weeks longer then what I was told when the order was placed. Could have got the part for about 10$ cheaper online but Cap City Yamaha said they could have it in a week, and most anything you order online takes longer than that. that was almost 2 weeks ago. wouldnt be a big deal if my motorcycle wasnt my only transportation at the moment. if I would have ordered it thru amazon, for almost 10$ cheaper it would have been here by now and I wouldnt have to find rides to and from work everyday. Thanks Cap City Yamaha for straight up lying to me and causing me to go thru so many changes the last 2 weeks. Wish I could give no stars.
Parts department are always a great help
Always a great place to deal with. Especially Colby in parts!Just purchased a new R1 from Capitol in July. As always, a great experience! Pete is awesome! Always great to deal with. No BS like I’ve experienced with some dealers. Great inventory and Dave and the rest of the guys in Parts & Service are very helpful and knowledgeable!Capitol Yamaha is my dealer!
Awesome people here!
Pete and the staff are very professional. They helped me get ready for my first bike with no worries. Best experience I have had on my search for a motorcycle.
I went in to check out the kids quads after work. Pete in sales helped me out. Hes a great guy and gave me exactly the kind of info I needed regarding all the laws etc. on quads for my 6yo daughter. It was a big help. I highly recommend both Capitol Yamaha and Pete for any of your motorcycle needs.
Pete. Who seems to be the only salesman here was extremely rude. He walked by twice before acknowledging some older people who walked in later, but still not me. I tried asking a few questions and he kept interrupting with am I going to buy today or how Im going to pay. Also when I asked for an out the door price he gave me the exact price listed on the full price sticker, even though they had it marked down $1000, and when I brought that up he exploded at me. He didnt even ask for zip code to figure tax/registration fees. Just included the extra high dealer markup fees based on full price of the bike. Thanks for being rude because I saved money even with tax registration included by going elsewhere for the same bike.
Just bought two awesome dirt bikes at Capitol Yamaha. Pete and Harley are true Professionals, not just Salesmen. They answered a ton of questions, got me the best deal, gave me great ideas about places to ride; they treat their customers like family.
Peter gave me a smoking deal on my new 250. I was a little nervous going over all the paperwork because it was my first dealer purchase but he explained it and made it simple to understand.Colby is a really down to earth guy. within my first few times walking in there he remembered my name and what bike I ride which gives off a good vibe. on the phone he is quick to check parts and almost ALWAYS has what I need in stock no matter how oddball it is.
UPDATE:Well Capitol Yamaha and Pete took care of me. Sold me a new bike at a great price. After shopping other local Yamaha dealers and either getting the run-around or ignored, the staff at Capitol went out of their way to earn me as a customer for life. Thanks again and already planning the next bike purchase..
Pete, the sales manager, went above and beyond in not only getting me a nice deal on a new side by side but in helping to sell my old one. They don’t take trade ins but for a really reasonable fee he offered to not only list it but store it and handle the paperwork. A big relief as he knew I was going to be out of town a lot this summer. Pete and his staff are knowledgeable, friendly and a pleasure to deal with.
Came in for a new rear tire they hooked it up I had it installed that day also ordered a air filter got oil on multiple occasions they’re always very helpful and knowledgeable Kevin Florez is awesome really knows his stuff and super helpful and patient
This has to do with the corporation of Yamaha. If you get a lemon, Yamaha will fight you for over a year. They will stress you and your dealer but not offering to do what correct. In Cali, one attorney has 3 slam dunk cases. And no resolution yet.Yamaha will force it into trail. Mean while we have a unsafe, or non operating back your paying for.I bought a bike, 1000 miles and 4 weeks it went down. And the dealer tried hard. Now they are at a loss.Suck because Yamaha offers wonderful bikes. But as a consumer, with warranties, lemon law, whatever, there is no protection
Im not too young to really appreciate a good parts counter, and Colby does a great job, especially as a rising AFM racer, getting the right parts for my 09 R6 is easy with cap Yamaha. Pete is an awesome salesman and Lisa does a great personal job with marketing! My only small suggestion is to stock more parts but I understand the cost associated with that for a shop.
I was able to locate a carb kit for an old bike [91 XT600] cheaper and faster than any online store had available and no wait from CHINA..
Good stock and quick getting you the parts you need
Wanted to purchase a motorcycle and pretty much knew what I wanted before I even came in, at first there is no acknowledgement, but I wouldnt mind that since the workers are nice. Went with an FZ-07 and Pete helped me with the purchase, all paperwork went very smooth and easy. Even in parts department, great with customer service and not too steep with pricing depending on what exactly you’re getting.
Great dealership with great customer service. They dont hound you or anything. The service guys are awesome also with very reasonable prices. Great place.
Amazing service & knowledge from Julie at the parts counter! Best spot to buy tires too!
Peter was awesome !! I have never owned a wave runner so I had a ton of questions. He took the time to answer them all. When we picked up the wave runner, Peter took the time to explain everything. From the use of the machine, safety, even the best spots to take it and enjoy. The price was very fair, for the quality of machine purchased. Would not hesitate to buy another machine from Peter or Capital Yamaha. ”
“Rich is amazing. From the very beginning I started working with him he was super knowledgeable and kept me in the loop throughout the repair of my bike. The shop got my FJR 1300 fixed quickly and they did awesome work. I could not be happier with my experience. ”
Jordan is a good parts guy always recommends top tier parts
Take your hard earned money somewhere else where they appreciate your dollar. The owner and his workers are only out for themselves. Think twice before you come to this place. They will cheat you out of every dollar you have. And then act dumb like your an idiot. They will make a deal sound promising and then before you know it. You over paid and then say huh. No no this is the agreement. Think twice!!!!!! Save your self the headache and Money!
I did not catch the name of the young gentleman who helped me in the parts department but he was very friendly and efficient. Thanks also go to a very polite fellow patron who let me go ahead with my single item transaction. Very nice of him. As usual, overall a nice experience at Capitol Yamaha!
I came to Sacramento to see my sister at the hospital from the bay area. Half way up here my brand new Yamaha R3 got a blown tire. I called the store to see if the tire is available and can it be repaired. Kevin at the store said it can be done. I have the bike towed to the shop and it was done within the hour. Thanks to Kevin and big thank to the guy with a full beards who repair the bike. Sorry I forgot your name.
Pete and his team are great. This is my go to place for genuine Yamaha parts.
I bought my 2018 Beta 300 RR from here a year ago. I want to say I never give reviews but Capitol Yamaha, have frankly earned mine.Beta warrantied my forks due to a very small batch issue with some of the very first 2018s, which resulted in the end with Beta replacing my 2018 forks with 2019 forks. I had Capitol Yamaha do the labor real quick for me. Come to find out my old fork guards do not work on the newer 2019 forks. The new 2019 fork guards are on back order. Beta although were gracious enough to warranty me the forks, likely missed this hiccup.I was going to end up not having fork guards and riding single track. That is just begging for destruction. I was sweating not riding for works or even months due to this.Capitol Yamaha, unbelievably allowed me to buy at cost fork guards off one of their own floor model 2019 bikes. I couldnt believe it. They risked who knows how long until Beta isnt back ordered to have that floor model bike just sitting there without fork guards, to make it right with me on behalf of Beta.Truly unbelievable service. I am blown away and so thankful for their generosity. I am so happy I chose them as my dealer and I will be back.Side note. I live 2 hours away from them, they have always been very accommodating with my drive time and schedule. They have never rushed me to be there first thing in the morning for an appointment. I did the BYOB program from Beta through them and they received and set up my bike perfectly and timely. The buying process was friendly and smooth. If youre looking for a Beta and you live far away, I would encourage you to choose them for your dealer destination.
“ Pete is a great guy and is an asset to Capitol Yamaha! We have great conversations and most of it having nothing to do with Yamaha and there is no pressure to buy when we talk. Cant wait to do business again with Pete and the rest of the crew at Capitol Yamaha!”
Never good when you pick up a bike after a 2 week service with more problems than you arrived with. Another week at the shop and I now have to personally repair problems that coincidentally happened while in their control. When I asked service manager how he would rate this service, he replied that they did everything I asked. I would agree and they even threw in stripping screws and breaking the speedometer. Their response to the non- functioning speedometer, it is not a safety issue. I guess traction control is not a safety feature since it works of the same speedometer circuit and is now disabled. I welcome Captol Yamaha to contact me to correct this disservice but I believe their actions have already spoken to how they care for customers.
Good service and they honor veterans with military discounts, thank you. Clean place, good selection of toys and supplies.
Julie was fantastic, I worked with Peter and Justin too but Julie is the true rockstar.
Julie was awesome went above and beyond to get me what I needed. She deserves a raise!
Peter in sales was great, I couldnt be happier with the sales process and I got the deal I wanted. Tony went the extra mile to go over my motorcycle he did a great job explaining the engine run in process in detail and answer all my questions. I totally recommend this store.
“Pete assisted my husband (Mel) and I to select and purchase our first SXS. As a retired local Law Enforcement officer my husband was extremely pleased when He read on your website that Law Enforcement was not only appreciated by your organization but given a discount in appreciation of our service to the community. Pete personally expressed his gratitude to my husband and treated us like Family. He exemplifies professionalism that one rarely finds in the sales business. Thanks again for everything. Mel & Kathy West”
Sadie was knowledgeable and encouraging..I am looking forward to that v star 950 thanks to her positive and helpful attitude.
This is the BEST service I’ve ever gotten from anywhere. Everyone that works there is amazing. Pete from this store has been beyond amazing & has succeeded any expectation or experience. Everytime I go in there I get nothing less than the best help from him & all the other workers. I couldn’t be anymore grateful for everything they have done for me & my fiancé!
Great people. Very helpful. I have bought a few bikes and gear there. Ask for Pete, the GM.
Very helpful respond quick soon as ylu walk in
My first time there. Its a small clean well organized showroom. Everybody was busy which was perfect for me.
Outstanding sales team. Knowledgeable service techs and a very broad inventory. Bought my bike here and I trust only these guys to take care of it.
Hold my order over 3 weeks. No money back. Laying. Not friendly manager
Lets start with Peter Brown, Rude Is a understatement the way i was talked to was extremely rude and disrespectful. When does a salesmen tell a person he is wasting his time and a complete liar, i was quoted a certain price at a different dealer. when asked if they would price match he told me I was wasting his time and to call him back when I stopped lying. I have no reason to lie. When I asked to speak to a manager he proceeded to tell me he is the manager. I have called two other places and asked about the price match and they decided to tell me it was a good deal and i should buy it. Do me a favor and AVOID at all cost UNTIL they get rid of their salesman/manager. Bad service starts from bad management. Another Dealership has earned my business due to the fact that they where very respectful and awesome, SORRY for wasting you time Capitol Yamaha & Peter Brown. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE. Imagine what will happen after you buy something at this joke of a dealership if this is the way they treat you before you buy.
Great service at a shop that is passionate about riding, not just making a sale.
“I placed a phone order for a clutch lever holder... $9.00, on Saturday, got that baby on Monday via UPS. Ya Hoo. I appreciated the fact that expedience was given to my $9.00 part and got me back in the seat. It was a small parts order worth a few bucks but I was provided service which was priceless. Thanks”
Since the store is close to ARC I end up stopping by often and picking up gear and bike parts that I need and dont need. Had both of my bikes serviced here, both of which werent Yamaha bikes. They do service relatively quickly, I highly recommend them for servicing any motorcycle.
Colby and the Capitol Yamaha team are simply the best. They will take the time to make sure you are comfortable and are educated about any purchases!
Drew from sales was great, worked with me on getting the bike wanted.. had an issue with the bike so I contacted them and expressed my issue, they got me in the same day and fixed the problem. People writing negative reviews just dont understand how smaller shops work... I would recommend this store to anyone!
Sale rep was nice, but they dont sell cruisers anymore, what a bummer...
The sale was simple and complete. Peter was perfect. Our 5th purchase over the years and will buy again. Thanks, Glen.
Just bought my first motorcycle from them. A 2017 Yamaha FZ-10. They gave me an amazing deal and there was no messing around. Riding out on my first motorcycle was a pretty great experience. They let me scoot around the parking lot a bit before I got out on the street. Nobody bothered me by trying to tell me what to do but they made me feel comfortable with all of it. They even offered to follow me on one of their bikes.By the time I got home all I could think was what a great experience I had. No haggle pricing, quick sit down for papers, meet the guys in the shop, get my keys, go... Im already planning on bugging them for accessories and such. Trying to get through my break-in period so Im sure Ill be seeing them for service soon. Im usually worry about service departments but their guy (Rich) gained my trust right away.Another thing worth mentioning was the speed in which they responded to me. I had sent emails to a few Yamaha shops asking for quotes. One which I had recently visited in person. Capitol Yamaha (Pete) responded within just a couple of minutes, another shop responded almost a day later, and a third finally responded while I was buying the bike. The place closest to my house (the one I visited) hasnt even gotten back to me yet and Im on my second day with the new bike. They didnt just sell me a motorcycle. They got a good customer too. Ill start with them for parts/accessories and I wouldnt even think of going to a different shop for service.
Best service Ive had with any mechanic. Ever.Whenever I bring a bike or car into a shop I usually get told to wait or go away until my vehicle is ready. The mechanic that helped me this time was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. His name was Tyler by the way. As he was changing out some parts and checking all my fluids he had no problem breaking it down for me step by step and told me what things I should buy and could easily install myself. All while not skipping a beat of work and smiling. Ill be returning to this shop for everything I need for my bike. Thanks again Trevor. Your attitude and help made a big difference.
Customer service was not good. I always felt like they didnt have time for me.
In here as we speak. Been here for about 10 minutes. Not to mention store is COMPLETELY empty with no customers. Absolutely no aclnowledgement, no eye contact, no welcome to the store l, nothing. Its cool, Ill bring my business elsewhere.
Took them weeks longer to repair my bike than they stated. Then retuned the bike with oil leaks it never had, lights not working and chrome parts in a box they could not remember of find where they went. This is a Royal Star Classic made by Yamaha. At best they are inept . Another shop in town had to repair what they messed up costing me 800 bucks more. GO ANY PLACE BUT HERE.
Overall sales was easy... Service department is not very communicative with repairs, nor are they very active on status of parts or repair completion. overcharge for labor and slow on repairs!
Great place to shop for you bike needs
The employees were very polite and they were also extremely quick on servicing our yamaha generator!! Very good!
I had Peter as my salesman he was very helpful kind inconsiderate and very knowledgeable. The other staff that I dealt with in parts department very helpful and friendly. Maintenance department supervisor very helpful and showing me how to operate and where everything was in my new UTV. Thanks guys youre the greatest. Joe Latona
DO NOT TRUSTThey charged me for clutch. Took them over 6 months. Yamaha Headquarters USA paid for me to take bike to another Yamaha for inspection. The clutch they charged me for was not in my bike! DO NOT TRUST!!!Owner Dana owns Honda Motorsports Roseville also... js
Super friendly service dept. Found me a tire and installed it with a smile.
My experience at Capitol Yamaha was very pleasant the guys were quick to help me with my needs which is very appreciated good job guys..
The smart way to do business is Capitol Yamaha of SacramentoThank you,Adam @ A&C Marine
This place I would recommend buying any powersport vehicle, is a must go. Fair prices and everyones is super respectful when listening to your wants.
“I had a great experience with the parts staff. They were very helpful and they had what I needed in stock!”
“I have been to Capitol Yamaha shopping several times and everyone was always friendly and helpful.”
