Ultra cute date spot as my friend said. The desserts are delicious! Its romantic to the point where people sign receipts out on used novels. The tiny touches make a big difference. The servers are very thoughtful, too.

This place is #1 by the size of the desserts in my whole sweet tooth history:) Recommend to consider that and come here with friends or significant other and share the pleasure without overeating. Can say that the quality and taste of their desserts are well known and a bit high prices don’t stop the constant flow of sweet lovers. You can see the line at the entrance in any time of the day. Although they almost always have free seats at the bar which could be an option.I tried Thai Tea Lava toast - this was really entertaining experience:) I really liked the taste and the combo of textures (crunchy+creamy+sweet+neutral), the only thing that I’d added is a sour note (maybe berries) that could make the flavor palette more diverse. We ate that dessert together with my husband but I feel that even that half was too much for me))Really want to return there to try their famous mango sticky rice and crepe cakes.

We were looking for something outside of what our hometown has to offer, and U: Desserts delivered! I was overwhelmed by the menu so we ordered three items for the group to share. The chocolate waffle and green tea parfait were the winners. The atmosphere was fun, and kid friendly. The wait staff was attentive, we will be back again!

I usually love dessert story but I’m beyond disappointed. We usually order the bingsoo from Uber on special occasions and this time I decided to switch it up with their special. WORST MISTAKE. I paid $30 for a bowl of dried toast with Oreo crumbs. Definitely did not get what was advertised (see the pics) … half of the “included” ingredients, like the ice cream, weren’t even included… 😭

Huge fan of all dessert and dessert cafes in general but has to take away one star for the weird service? A friend and I were standing for almost 10 min in front of the sign that said wait to be seated when there were plenty of open seat? Anywaysss the food is AMAZING and I will have to try everything eventually hehe. It’s pricey and definitely a treat but worth it!🤩If you wanna follow me on more of noms come with me on IG: 🥰✨ @foodiefindsbyj

An absolute must for dessert lovers. Ordered the volcanic bingsoo which is more of a treat for the eyes. Havent had shaved ice dessert before so it was really good, wish they added more chocolate in it. The other item we got was choco matcha lava cake which was heavenly. The combination of matcha and chocolate is deadly! Want to visit again, soon!

Their varied and creative menu was great. Food decoration was beautiful. The desserts were not overwhelmingly sweet which was good, but not tasty enough to attract the full attention. And please, its okay to clean the table next to us while were eating, but dont spray lysol in the air, here and there. Chemical particles will sit on the food, or the smell itself is unpleasant.

Wait staff was very aloof, you have to work to get their attention, good thing I was the only one in the restaurant, felt as if the customer was last thing on her mind and yet when I addressed her, each time she was very polite. Felt surreal. The coconut cake was nothing great, expensive and the outside whipped cream tasted off, like stale or old. I wanted to like this place because I love desserts but just not worth the effort or price, decor nothing great either so why go back?

Although the food is good. If it wasnt id give this place 2 stars. The location needs an immediate deep cleaning. The seats are way Dusty that it doesnt look like anyone has vacuumed it for weeks. Velvet couch and pillows need daily maintaining especially if people always Touch the surfaces. I would come back for take out/delivery but not to Eat in anymore.

Very very small cakes priced at 12.50 and 13.50, which is way overpriced compared to other patisseries such as Fournee(Berkeley), Tartin( SF), B. Patisserie (SF) or even One65 Patisserie (SF)-overpriced around $10 per cake.Probably will not visit again.Other places offer better cakes in terms of taste and value.

DELICIOUS. New favorite boba & dessert spot. Bobas are a bit on the expensive side but worth every sip imo—the tapioca pearls are to die for and they have so many types of fruit teas & milk teas etc. Love all the different varieties of dessert & snacks as well—bingsoo, crepe cakes, calamari, chicken etc etc. Love the selection. gotten both pick up and dined in (outdoors) and the service is phenomenal each time. If you dine outdoors you can order by scanning the code on the table and they will bring it out to you. Everything is perfect save for the one time they forgot boba in my milk tea in my pickup order but it’s all good 😌

U dessert story is where I tasted bingsoo for the first time. It was good however the rest of the items we have ordered like crepe cake lychee cake and the milk teas were average at best. The price point is also very high. It is good experience for one time but I do not know if I can justify multiple visits to this place. The order also takes a long time so plan accordingly

Dessert was delicious! Expect longer wait to be seated due to social distancing seating.. Staff used the same rubber gloves the whole entire time we were there. The buser/host/sever (all 1 person) should change his gloves every so often due to cross contamination. Other than that great place, friendly staff!! IG:@kid594 #BeinKids

Ive been looking for a place like this all over since moving from LA. I had the double fromage lychee cake and a peach apricot cheese tea. A bit pricey ($22), but well worth the treat and drive. The cheesecake was that super light and fluffy kind and the lychee wasn’t overpowering or too sweet. It came with a scoop of lychee ice cream too. The cheese foam on my tea was thicc and super bomb (better than what Ive had in socal). I’ll definitely bring my girlfriend here to share a mango bingsoo and hojicha cheese tea next time!

They have a diverse menu of desserts and teas and what we liked the most was that it wasnt too sweat. We ordered chocolate maccha lava cake, peach milk teas and earl grey which was great. Remember to mention to them whether you want iced or hot tea otherwise itll come cold. Overall we liked the experience despite their pricy menu.

Very poor experience. They had us waiting outside in the cold for an hour, and we only ordered 3 desserts for take-out. One of our orders (the mango sticky ice cream) had already melted by the time we had our full order. They *definitely* forgot about our order, because I went inside and saw people who arrived after us (and chose to dine in) already have their food and finished it. Didn’t even offer anything for the wait or that our order melted by then, they said “5 more minutes”.

Lovely presentation and space... expensive, not satisfying flavor/expectation per description and not easy to share... Basically, it’s not a $15+ Plate dessert you split- too big for one, not easy to share. Smaller piece at $9/10 would have been better...so not a place I’d frequent or come back to...

Wow....boba drink is almost $10/drink and $15/slice of cake with tax and tip. Boba tea is okay. It has unique features, but cakes are not. Most of entertainment places are closed and people only enjoys these take out food for refreshments. This place is one of them, but its too much.

Great drinks and AMAZING desserts. Their service? Nonexistent.Pre-pandemic we ate at one of the locations in San Francisco and loved the desserts. We had the matcha lava cake, the Thai tea crepe cake, and something else I dont remember. It was so good that when we found this location in the east bay we were so excited because we could drive here and not have to cross the bridge or deal with the cold wind of San Francisco. This location is making me rethink my patronage completely. When I got home from work we decided that it would be a great celebratory treat to pre-order desserts. I put in the order a few hours ahead of time and it gave me an estimate of 7:05-7:15. We chose the Strawberry Cheese Cake Greek Togurt Bingsoo, the Chocolate Bingsoo, Young Coconut Pandan Crepe Cake, Thai Tea Crepe Cake, Hojicha Banoffe, Mango Tango Spritzer and a Blue Lychee for drinks. I thought this was great because Id be able to finish dinner and then we could head out. When we left I got a text saying the new time was now between 7:15-7:20. They had more than two hours to stew on when the timing would work for this order, but I guess they just threw that out the window. We got to the location at 7:10 and I was able to get a servers attention pretty quickly and they said it would be another 5 minutes for them to complete the order. They still had to make the drinks. Id already waited several hours anyway, so what was a few more, right? I got an Email at 7:16 saying the order was ready so I went back in. The guy preparing the drinks noticed me from earlier and said my name to hand me a big bag of desserts and then got me the drinks. It was nice that he remembered and was timely about the hand off, but that was where it ended.I put the desserts in the back seat and the drinks in the front so we could sip some while on the drive back home. We arrived back home around 8 and I started getting the desserts laid out when I noticed the reason why this review is only 1 star. After all that wait, from the pre-order, getting a new wait time, and the drive there and back, they had left off one of the items. So not only do they change the pick up time that they asked me was good for me, they left off an item that I paid for with no substitution and no mention of it when I went back into the store to pick up my order. Youd think that paying $110 with $15 tip would equate to some semblance of service, but I guess that was a mistake on my part. Either way these people were able to waste both my time and take my money without giving me what I ordered. No matter how good their desserts taste the service is bitter and rotten.TL;DL Pre-ordered $110 worth of desserts for them to change the pick-up time after left an item out that I didnt find out about until driving back home.

Took over this weird place that looked like it never got busy. This place? Seems to be always busy.As a new dessert place the stuff is really good, not overly sweet and the stuff comes out quickly. Only thing is they need more servers that can actually take orders since it seems to be only one guy who can, and give more water than a small splash. Like I can drink 5 of them and still be parched. It may be a instagramers paradise since their stuff is pretty aesthetically pleasing but the dessert is good too
