I actually was enjoying my shopping experience when the main manager interrupted me. I was shopping and taking photos to show how clean and organized the store was when she appeared with another employee.She asked me why I was taking pictures. I explained that I am doing a Google map review. She seems puzzled and then told me that I was not allowed to take pictures and it was against corporate policy. I told her that it was under public domain. Then I told her that I wasnt going to add this incident to my review. Well, I am adding it after seeing some Yelp reviews. One of them mentioned her attitude. Then I thought of others that she intimidating. So here is my honest evaluation.The store is very organized, the employees are friendly. They have a lot of deals. Now as I walked through the store I was wondering if the main manager was stewing in her office watching me through the camera.Before I left I caught the second manager working hard with three employees. She understood the technology behind the review and was pleasant to talk with before I left out the door.My guess, she is the glue that keeps the customers coming back. Please have the main manager attend training on customer relations and technology. Also tell her positive reviews would help her store. I was nice to take pictures of the items that would not taint your store. 💙🧡I am definitely going to do a follow up in a month. Maybe on Yelp. I would have given you you 4 or 5 but I did not feel safe with a manager that think customers are employees???

Neat little store, and Mom really likes it she bought a few items. Its was my first visit it had an assortment of clothing for mens children women I didnt get to look through the entire store but it looked like it had everything you would need or want. Nice helpful employees.

Its like Home Goods & Marshalls had a baby & let it run wild, lol. There is stuff *everywhere* but the sale prices are hard to beat. Go when you have plenty of time to look & shop because they have a lot!

It was a really great place to shop. I havent shopped there in a long time, because a couple of the workers I felt only watched Black people. They were only helping and staying on top of people of color. Then all I heard was gossiping in the corner. So I chose not to spend my money in that store. I happened to stop in there today because I saw the sidewalk sale on there t shirts and I needed one. Well the atmosphere was wonderful. Everyone working getting product out. No gossiping. All associates were helping people of all color. Cashiers were very friendly. I was really a enjoyable place to be in.

Good store great deals large selection. I personally purchased underwear, pair of pants, top, and a pair of Clarks sandals for $50.00. My Clarks sandals cost that but they were only $20.00 great prices.

This is my favorite store now! There are just so many odds and ends with extremely good deals. This store is a hidden gem. They have lots of items of the country modern variety, which is my style. I am in heaven! The staff are also very helpful and friendly. I could spend hours and hundreds of dollars here.

Need to have more checkouts open. Also lady argued with me about a price change when the sign stated it was that price O should receive it at that price I eventually got it for the price posted but she was very rude about it and had to wait an additional 20 minutes. Well if you looking for clothes made of cotton/rayon you are out of luck. Nikki brand they no long carry. Not made in US. You also cant go by sizes. Sizes are either smaller or larger than it says. Mostly smaller.

Staff is always efficient and nice. Store is always stocked with bargains.

Awful. I will never shop at another Hamricks. The line was backed up a good 150-200ft! It just blows my mind how 6 employees can only run 2 cash registers! If I wouldnt get in trouble for it... i wouldve jumped behind a cash register to help out all of those elderly folks!(90% were over the age of 55. The younger employees were rude and held up all of those very nice folks for no good reason except that they are incompetent at their job and need to be fired and hired at McDonalds) the manager is probably the worst of her kind! Smh Hamricks has to do better for these fine folks!

Excellent store to find great bargains! Make sure when you find something on sale... to scan it! You may be surprised and get it even cheaper. ( I just went in to buy a purse that was advertised for $22.00.... retailed for $98.00.. and I scanned the purse to make sure that it was for sure one of the $22.00 advertised purses and that someone hadnt just layed it on that shelf... and to my surprise it scanned for $12.00 !! ) Boy, was I a very happy lady. I now had $10.00 left to buy me a wallet to go with my purse. They have really great merchandise for men and women... not so much for children... but you can find some.

They always have unusual items and their prices arent so bad. There have been some shirts Ive seen that really should have been a lot less but all in all its a good place to shop. there isnt much help when it comes to the floor everybodys on the cash register.

If you are a big fella, dont waste your time. No big and tall clothes. The Gaffney, SC location actually has a great big and tall selection.

Hamricks in gastonia has very rude old ladys working there to start with. I stood in line for a price check with a item that had no price on it to start withThe lady at the register told me the price as so as she looked at it.I guess someone else had asked the same thing. So she looked at me and pointed we have scanners in the store for that and I would not have to stand in line in front of people to check. No if you had done your jobs and had prices on your merchandise I would not had to ask the first time.At the same time another employee was being smart to a customer down the counter. Really hire some nicer employees than the old ladys you got.

I like it, but every single item is marked WAY up and then you see all the 40% 60% off and it ends up not being any cheaper then going to Walmart. Some items are defective and you need to look closely before you purchase. I purchased a whole bedroom sheet and comforter set, and it was defective with the size. It was too short with the comforter and thin sheets. But sometimes you can get a good deal. Wish the clothes were in some sort of order. Pants should be all together, blouses all together, etc. Everything is just scattered. Ugh.

Saved a lot of money on clearance. Love Hamericks!
