My starter died on a recent visit to Roseburg. Even though they were busy and short a mechanic, Richard jumped right in and said he would repair it himself and not to worry. Even with no appointment, he got me up and running in no time. I highly recommend 5 Star Auto not only for their professionalism but for their honesty and fair pricing. Richard was so professional and kind. They did a pre purchase inspection of my vehicle, told me about all issues then fixed them all at a very reasonable price. I will use them for any and all mechanic work going forward!

We paid 153 dollars for them to run a diagnostic, snap a loose wire back together and pour some transmission fluid in. to be told he couldnt fix the issue . seems expensive to me for the things done but hey if you wanna pay it go for it I do not recommend

My husband Bill Shamblin bought a car from 5 star auto, & it had a viscous clutch issue for the all-wheel drive..and they replaced the entire transfer case at NO COST!!! Complete HONESTY and transparency...when dealing with me, and the trust I had with the employees will eliminate any fears you might have about mechanics and how other shops try to upsell services to you. I give 5 Star Auto a 10 Star Rating. I had purchased a vehicle that ended up having some big issues. I decided to have some major repairs done and couldnt be happier with the results. I liked the gentleman at the front counter so much that before and during the repairs I had done there, I would stop in to talk cars, ask for advice and general opinions on the my vehicles. He was always happy to help. Come to find out. It was the owner I had been speaking with. I had no idea. The rest of the staff/employees are just as friendly and helpful. To sum this all up. They make sure the job is done right. They double check to see they have the right parts. I drive a Mercedes and they called to insure they used the right oil, coolant... And not just go by what the bottle said would work.

Driving through Rosenberg Oregon, had some issues with my RV. Called and talked to see if they can squeeze me in to my RV. They didnt think they could squeeze me in and they said they will let me know. And they did call me and told me they cant since they are booked all days till weekend.5 Stars for being nice and calling me back and letting me know. How many shops do this kind of service. Even though they couldnt help with my time frame but as far as customer service I give them 5. Thanks guys for getting back to me.

We had to take my husbands truck in and they were very courteous and finished the work ahead of what they quoted us. As we just moved to the area we didnt know the best place in town but after reading the reviews here we decided to go with them. We are both very glad we did and will definately return if we have any future car issues.

They took care of me. Even on a Friday afternoon with a parking lot full of other work, they were still able and willing to fit me in. My work was done quickly and now I have no problems. The office staff were very friendly and everyone acted professionally. I will be back again.
