I tried their salted caramel, chocolate sorbet and strawberry ice creams. It was delicious. Taking one star off because portion size was slightly smaller than what I expected/what I have had in other ice cream shops) and flavor options were somewhat limited (only had 6 flavors to choose from).

Best ice cream in Rochester. I like that they value quality over quantity in terms of their flavor offerings. Staff is nice and the owners take covid seriously, which I really appreciate.

Hedonist is always fantastic. The chocolate work is always perfect. The slated caramels are a must but they also have a ton of special and fancy flavored truffles that are fun to try. The chocolate dipped figs are also one of our favorites. You cant go wrong here. Their ice cream store right next door is also phenomenal!

If you cant get to the Paris Chocolate Festival, get here. For our first annual business meeting in 2 years we picked up Hedonist Party Favors, yay.

I do not plan on ever returning to this place, ever. The product is very delicious. The people employed there, a different story. My wife and I went in and we were very polite and trying to make friendly conversation. The kid getting our ice cream, had a lot of passive/aggressive comments or sounds coming out. I was not happy about this while he was serving us and to be honest I just wanted to leave. We try to help out small businesses, this one, never again. Next time, who ever is serving, maybe just try being polite to customers We all have bad days, but no excuse to be rude and insulting to the customers.

The person who served us was funny, engaging, and awesome. The ice cream was SO delicious and creamy. Definitely recommend!

The truffles are delicious! Currently the are only letting 4 customers in the store at a time to maintain social distancing ( the store is tiny) If you are on a tight budget check the seconds bin for a discounted bag of chocolate. These misshapen chocolate might not be as beautiful but they are still very tasty.

Rochester is lucky to have such an amazing shop! Many cities dont have anything like this. Yes the prices are up there, but you cannot get Tiffanys at Walmart either. If you have a loved one with a special day, you need go no further than Hedonist. Extremely recommended, make someone in your life happy and get them some chocolate today.

Mediocre chocolate at a very high price point, the young man working was very kind and outgoing, however we were disappointed that several of the chocolates did not live up to their titles, for example Tiny Toffee is a coconut/pistachio truffle, and Champagne Pomegranate didn’t really taste like either. Hedonist has tremendous potential and hopefully can revitalize the legendary quality it was once known for.

I just savored the goodness of these chocolates for the very first time- definitely lives up to the hype! Cranberry, Expresso and Smoked Salt- I can taste each flavor listed! Whats really great is that they have the discounted chocolates for half off. So thats what I took advantage of, and gladly so. I shared pieces with all my co workers and it totally made our day! Not sure about that 1 star review- because this was absolutely superb!

Visited with my girlfriend after lunch one day. We were offered samples of each of their flavors, but after trying out the Salted Caramel and Goat Cheese Whisky Fig we knew what we were getting. My Whisky Fig was very rich without any one flavor overpowering the rest. The salted caramel had the perfect blend of sweet and salty. I was a little worried about the $4/scoop price tag, but we wound up getting two scoops and the quality was definitely worth it. The interior is simple but classy and there are some really excellent lunch-themed restaurants nearby.

I had a scoop each of the strawberry ice cream and the chocolate sorbet. Each flavor was delicious but the combination was sublime. Best chocolate sorbet Ive ever had.

Stopped in on Independence Day for some ice cream with my girlfriend. We were running an errand and just needed something cold for the blistering heat of the holiday. Instead we found some fabulous new tastes crafted by the staff. She had chocolate sesame waffle cone and I had a root beer float. The waffle cones were freshly made, they didnt have more then a handful waiting for people to walk in the shop and order a cone. All of the ice cream we tried were well put-together tastes, but this is a place for someone who is looking for a complicated taste.

Best.place.ever. They helped us with a fundraiser and I am very appreciative. Staff was very friendly and the location was implacably clean.

The chocolate is very good and of exceptional quality, but the prices are rather steep and the selection is definitely for those of the more advent palettes. They lack a lot of the traditional chocolates and truffles in favor of unique and different flavors

Just had a rockstar root-beer float here. It was kind of like going to Ansel Adams to get a family portrait, but if you have a sweet tooth, this is the place to hang out.
