It had been too long since I ate here, so I just peeked in to see the goody counter, asked about the soup and had to try it! Very welcoming environment, the H&C coffee- mmm, aromatic and fresh! The black mushroom soup had just the right spice, not overpowering and their take on the fried green tomato sandwich is a real twist from the norm. Thank you, kindly for my delicious impromptu lunch!

Nice server, food came out pretty fast, fresh salad yummy baby tomatoes and cucumbers. Ordered the Shrimp and Avocado Quesdilla and it was pretty tasty. Pretty reasonable price with salad included. This was my first time here and Ill be back

Excellent cafe serving yummy gluten free bread with their sandwiches. Wish we lived nearby and could try more of their menu. We tried Dougs Chicken Salad which was ok.The service was pretty good, and the decor was cute. I would try it again if I ever come back through.

Always a good experience at Wildflour. This place isnt fancy so dont be afraid to stop by in jeans, but they do have a nicer menu at night. My favorite dish is the red beans and rice, but I also love the crab cakes. I almost always fall for a cup of the freshly prepared soup of the day. The food is fresh and flavorful and always great service for years. Most dishes are served with warm sour dough bread and butter.. so good! Be sure to save room for desserts.. all are freshly made!

This was our first visit and we were greeted warmly and seated right away. Our server was polite and gave great recommendations. Our food (Philly Cheese Steak sandwich & Old Southwest Burrito) was excellent and we also tried one of their desserts (Hello Dolly). We would recommend trying if youre in the area.

Wildflour Cafe And Catering has good food but the staff are rude and like gossiping. I was telling one of the employees about my education. I got a degree from Virginia Tech. The employee rolled their eyes & said “I doubt that.” When I asked if they were joking, they said “Dude, you did not graduate from Virginia Tech.” I wonder if they mistook me for someone else? Very rude. They don’t even know me & they’re basically calling me a liar! I don’t care if they don’t believe me, I know exactly who I am. My integrity is very important to me.

Ive been getting takeout here for years and the food has remained consistent and amazing. Its literally one of my favorite places to eat and definitely my favorite place to get food in Noke when Im passing through. My favorite is the dragontooth sandwich & the nachos; today I tried the Caesar salad and it was amazing, the chicken is high quality. Everything in my order was right even though they were slammed. You can tell they try really hard for the local more mature crowd that seems to frequent the restaurant as well as for the plant based/cafe foodie customers. I want this business to do so well that they open a location in Blacksburg, thats how much I love it. Its really difficult to find good food these days so even though Im on a budget I ordered 3 meals just for myself 🤭 The only thing I would change is the foam takeout containers. Definitely a great place to get great food.

This place has been great the last two times I have come. The price is a little bit high in my opinion but not terrible. The Italian sandwich is my favorite served grilled. My favorite breakfast item is the monte cristo sandwich but they only serve it on Sundays which I just learned this last weekend. The place is small so your server is always waking by making it easy to grab them. Only down side I can think of is they dont have any milk when I order my hot tea.

Used to be better. I’m disappointed in Wildflour Cafe lately. They don’t treat you as a valued customer. They also ask nosy questions like ‘Where’s your husband today?’ None of your business where he’s at today.

Normally Im really happy with the Wildflour, but the last 3 times recently that weve gotten take out the order was incorrect. It seemed to me the people that were working there didnt know what they were doing and none was checking them. Is there any training and someone to continue oversee these folks as they are working?

Great food, great desserts, great staff. This small Cafe is perfect to come study at, to come meet up with friends at, and great to just spend a little time at. They have a wide range of healthy, tasty food and unique recipes compared to other local cafes. Their baked goods are to die for! All of their cakes are divine but the BTS cake is the absolute best if you ask me. I came here regularly when I lived in Roanoke and now its a must stop every time Im in town. Their staff is always friendly and the place has a peaceful atmosphere.

I have been eating at this place since it opened many years ago. The food is always great the service is always wonderful waste wonderful your food comes out hot and fresh and everything is local you really cannot go wrong here and they do have vegetarian options

Met some Twitter friends here en route from Knoxville to Harrisonburg. The menu has lots of options, including for vegetarians, and the food didnt disappoint. The service was excellent and friendly. The only reason Im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because if is located in a strip mall, and so the environment/ambience was underwhelming.

First time and we an excellent little place. The service was good and the food was great. I had the rodeo burger and it was really good. Great selection on the menu and theres probably something for everyone. Definitely will be back.

One of my favorite places to eat in Roanoke. Before every 5 Points Music Sanctuary show, this is where we go out for dinner. So, we go often!

Best Reuben I have had in a long time! Excellent corned beef and rye bread. The ketchup is even homemade and makes me hate Hienz! The sweet potatoes were perfect and at no additional cost. Love this place - will be back!

Really great food! Ordered the parthenon wrap with fries, and the club sandwich with the soup of the day which was tomato. Hummus on my wrap was excellent. Fries were cooked perfectly. Club sandwich was well built and delicious. The soup was the best item among the food we ordered. Thick, creamy, and cheesy. Service was excellent too.

I eat only plant based food and wish they had more of a variety to choose from other than just taking meat or cheese out of an existing meal. The black bean burger was good but didnt care for the red beans and rice... My wife really enjoyed the veggie lasagna though. I cant speak for the meals with meat but everything looked good as it came out .

The food is at a higher level than most. This is a quality resteraunt with good service and a real chef in the kitchen. It is as good as we make at home. That is high praise. Ask our friends. :)

These days, a restaurant has to be good to survive inside of a mall, and Wildflour does just that.They have one of the best breakfasts in town and a great baked goods selection. I recommend trying a specialty pancake but they do a great job with benedicts as well.Service is good but the space feels slightly uncomfortable. Not enough that it would keep me from going though.

I went to dinner with a group of friends, and we were seated right away. Our server was very attentive. I got the shrimp and avocado quesadilla, which was terrific. One person got red rice and beans, which she enjoyed. One person got tomato soup and grilled cheese; she loved her meal. One person got the the salmon cakes and she said they were delicious. The prices were very reasonable.

Roanoke’s best kept, not so secret, secret.I’ve lived in Roanoke for years and as a protein lover the vegan Wildflower Cafe didn’t much appeal to me.However. The Wildflower is Vegan no more.While they still offer many vegan choices they now have meat.But this is not why you should or shouldn’t eat here.Eat here if you love made fresh food. Eat here if you love flavors and a feeling that you’re done your body good with this meal.Eat here if you like a fair price.This might just be my new favorite Roanoke cafe. And yet I’ve never had their coffee.... waiter!

What place! If its been awhile or youve never been to the Wildflour Cafe at Towers Mall before youve done your self an injustice. A small but elegant place for lunch or dinner. Every offering is delicious. I kid you not. Plenty veragetarian sandwiches and entrees. Wonderful soups and salads all with homemade dressings. Please do yourself a favor and go there.

Really well prepared flavorful vegetarian dishes served by friendly folk. There is also gluten free breads for the sandwiches. I had the Santa Fe and loved the seasoned black bean burger.

I feel like this is a place people take their friends to try and be cool. I can count at least 3 yuppies and/or hipsters whenever I go. The food is good, but Im not blown away. Brunch is nice, but everything has hollandaise. The desserts are incredible. They would be 5 stars if I rated them on that alone.

Favorite place to eat in Roanoke!

Its hard to find unique vegetarian options in Roanoke, but this place by far has the best vegetarian food here. The staff is very friendly and we got our food faster than I anticipated. It is a little pricey, but I think you get what you pay for.

Wanted to pick up the plate and lick it! Lemon Cake yumness. The staff was warm and helpful. Coffee was SUPER hot, but once cooled, tasted pretty good.

I always heard about this place...but never really stopped in to experience it. Until one day I decided and said to myself...Eh. Lets give it a try. and after visiting, I can say with confidence that this place is absolutely worthy of 5 stars.I ordered the Athensian Appetizer, a Greek Salad, followed by the Blue Moon Wrap, with Coffee and a Lemon Bar for dessert..All of them tasted satisfying and fresh...The moment I tasted the wrap I was like...Oh yeah...This is good. And if you have a hard time deciding, you can always ask the servers for their recommendations.Speaking of servers, the service, some of the nicest I have ever received in a restaurant. The servers are kind, and compliment your choices, which is excellent. They are always constantly refilling you drinks, and thats also excellent. And when the service is great....I tip great. 😁The prices may be a little steep, but trust me, for how excellent the food taste, and how fresh it is, its worth almost every penny.Wildflower is something else, and if youre ever in the Towers area. I recommend this place, it took me by surprise, and I will definitely be coming back again. Well Done! 😁

Fantastic food!! One of our favorites. We tried the white bean chicken chili, turkey reuben, fish tacos and they were all fantastic! I really like the manager here. Very friendly and goes out of his way to make for a very nice dining experience.

Ive eaten here for brunch every Sunday for a couple of months now. The food is always fresh and delicious, my highest recommendation being their eggs Chesapeake, though blueberry sweet potato pancakes are also very good. Staff are very friendly and attentive, even at their busiest hours. I always leave with at least one blondie to go; everything else in the desserts case looks good, too.

Great service! The food is pretty good, but a little pricey for what you are getting. The atmosphere is charming. The walls are decorated with professional photographs of children (newborn photos, etc.), which I found odd and frankly off putting.

Wildflour Cafe at Towers seems to be slipping some. I have come by here a few times. Usually get it to go. Good food but on my recent visit my order was wrong. The bread they put on my sandwich was incorrect.. but thats not what bothered me the most. What bothered me the most was hearing an employee talk about a customer waiting on their order a *loudmouth* for talking on their cell phone loudly. Then hearing them say *I think she is talking to an imaginary friend. she never comes with anyone, shes always by herself on her phone.* I am still giving a good review, about 4 stars but I really didnt like hearing them judge that young lady. She was a pretty young girl and how do they know she doesnt have friends? She might come on her lunch break or when she gets off work. Or maybe she just likes being alone. There are countless possibilities.

Great service and dining, I have been coming here for years. Vegetarian options abound, and the food tastes like it was cooked with actual spices and ingredients, compared to most every place of similar price in Roanoke. I prefer this location to the Old Southwest one, but thats just personal preference. One star off because in the last few years they changed a lot of the portion sizes, making them smaller while marginally increasing the prices. Its still worth the money, but kind of disappointing to notice less ingredients and portions on some of the dishes.

EXTREMELY disappointed. I have eaten here many times and will not be back. My water glass as well as my daughters Mimosa both had lipstick on them and when you go in the bathroom at 10:30 on a sunday morning for brunch, toilet paper roll sitting on the floor and the trash was overflowing out of the trash can all over the bathroom. The cleanliness of this place was terrible and Im not sure what has happened but really? Should have been like that when they just opened? $70 for brunch for three people and filthy first thing when they open. Not going back
