Sister and I walked in today, 9/18/21, and walked right back out. Could not believe toppings are still self-service and no mask-wearing employee! If the toppings are so unsanitary, can only imagine the yogurt machines are not being cleaned properly either. Sweet Frog is a part of the problem!!

Wonderful healthy dessert options and also very sweet unhealthy dessert options they do offer sugar free & gluten free!

One word!!! Delicious!!! Love the fact that you pay for what you get. You pick your flavor(s) and toppings and then you pay. Its the best. I usually end up getting more toppings than yogurt but its worth it.

It is truly rare for me to give any chain restaurant 5 stars. They have to earn it. This Sweet Frog did just that. They have a wide selection of flavors. The condiment choices are so numerous they almost make your head spin. The employees are friendly and invite conversation. And, most importantly, this place is clean. I have been there twice and enjoyed both visits.Thank you Sweet Frog for being awesome!

I had the most painful experience even attempting to get Froyo here.I hung around the front counter expecting to get handed a couple sample cups, like every other Froyo place, only to get a couple minute long explanation of how things work.After the explanation I asked about sample cups, as that was all I was really interested in, only to be informed that you do not do samples like that. We got a some convoluted explanation on how you need to go up front and get someone for a spoon to taste it, at which point I grabbed a cup and put a few tiny dots in the cup to try and went up front. I was then informed that the person up front will manually take a spoon to the machine to get a sample.See attached pictures for their note saying that taste tests are theft, and that they dont accept several types of coupons.All of this said, the lady up front was constantly eyeing the person I was with, for whatever reason.The employees (manager?) Are overbearing, the process is ridiculously complicated, and honestly the yogurt itself was very subpar.I dont know what kind of battlescars this place has but I left without getting anything and will never return.

Great spot for a quick cold treat. Plenty of flavor and topping choices. I like that they offer sugar free and fat free options as well. Friendly staff and fair prices. Not sure why Ive seen quite a bit of bad reviews for this place, but I havent had an issue come up so far. Love their customer loyalty perks/discount program.

For a sweet frog, its fine and what you would expect. The staff can be odd, though. I got scolded for pulling a handle down too long and then a little girl behind me in line got scolded for trying to put whipped cream on her froyo. Which was uncomfortable and awkward... Considering the fact that its a frozen yogurt place.

The yogurt and toppings where just alright. The price was what you would expect from a weigh yourself frozen yogurt. The real issue was the fact that they only have large cups. The smallest being a pint! It makes it very hard to measure out smaller sizes for children. And when they dont finish they Yogurt because you bought too much they dont have lids. They have Saran Wrap. When suggesting that you could just move your leftovers into a larger cup that does have a lid youre told no. I cannot imagine having tried to buy a full Pint to go and having to travel with just Saran Wrap covering it. The customer service was definitely lacking.

I love this place! They always have multiple flavors and combinations of flavors, many are sugar free. They have every topping you can think of, and manny you never thought of. The staff is always friendly.

Yogurt is pretty good. But let me tell you, theres a cashier there named Abbey. Best customer service from a young lady Ive ever received. Great smile, has a contagious laugh, and she reminds me of both Pam and Erin from The Office. Make sure you say hello to her. Shell brighten your day, like she brightens mine.

My family and I visited this location at 8:20 pm on 2/23/18 (Friday night) Google shows that they close at 10pm on Friday. When we arrived Jen one of the ladies that works there was putting chairs up in the back half of the dining area and pulling the tables out away from the bench. This only left five tables for customers to sit at. At the time of our visit they were busy with about 18 - 20 people in there. Two groups of people started to sit down on the bench at the tables that were pulled out.Jen comes out from the back and said that the back half of the dining area was closed that the tables had been cleaned. She the proceeds to rudely demand that a group of 3 high school age kids move from that table.Another customer asked why was she cleaning so early if they do not close until 9:30? Jen said I’m just doing my job This is what my boss wants me to do. We have lives too! That customer asks for the owners number to complain, Jen said you can email the owner their information is upfront on the wall! Jen then says that she has to work there on minimum wage and she was being completely rude and causing a scene. I’ve never witnessed someone being so rude to a customer in my life!I worked retail for 13 years so that’s saying a lot. I spoke up and told Jen that she was being rude and she should be thankful for her customers because if it weren’t for us she would not have a job! I will be emailing the owner, but looking at the other reviews this is a constant problem so in addition I will not be returning to this location.My family and I would frequent this location, but I refuse to give my hard earned money to someone that does not appreciate my business. Roanoke has tons of great ice cream places that I’d rather support. I will say that the other younger lady working with black hair was extremely sweet and had nothing to do with Jens unprofessional, rude behavior.

Owners still not wearing masks. WHY???

If there was a way to give a zero, I would. Years ago, My husband, two boys and I went there with a group of friends for dessert after dinner. There was a bad storm. Severe winds knocked out the power and were blowing debris around outside. We sat down inside to avoid going out into the storm and eat our $28 worth of ice cream. We were asked to leave by the employee, per the manager. As we walked out, the wind blew part of our ice cream out of their containers and debris into what was left. We have not gone back and dont plan on it, ever.

We’re in the middle of a pandemic and under a business mask mandate. Employee not wearing a face mask, customers not asked to put on a face mask upon entering. All those toppings were right out in the open available to be touched or coughed on.

I have never received such awful customer service in my life. My husband and I entered at 9:20 pm on a friday night (half of the chairs were already put away). The employee told me, you can sit down, but you need to know we close at 9:30. I was shocked. I looked at her questioningly because I honestly thought I must have misunderstood. She then repeated it. We went ahead and sat down, trying to make the best of it. However, the employee continued to stack chairs all around us. We got the hint and left.I decided I should report her poor service to management so Iasked the employee for her name. She said, my name is (leaving that out) and if you want my managers email, I can give it to you. I later contacted the manager. She told me her employees were allowed to clean up early and no one had ever complained about this particular employee (insinuating that I must have instigated it). I assure you, I did not. I simply feel if you say you are open until 9:30, then you are fully open and serving customers with a good attitude. Apparently, not this company. I advise you to eat your yogurt elsewhere.

The employee (manager maybe) thats older and has straight brownish hair is TERRIBLE! So rude, stingy, and watched me angrily the entire time I was getting yogurt. Plus when I informed her a yogurt had gone had, she told me I was flat out wrong. We may not return for a long time due to her actions, and this is NOT the first time she has done this. Overall yogurt is good but she is not!!

I understand that this is a Christian business, but when my total came to $6.66, the lady said oh, let me add a penny to that. I know its just a penny, but if anything she should have deducted it rather than adding it.

Tasty yogurt, poor service.Ive had two crummy experiences at this location. The last visit was the more unnerving of the 2. The woman working the counter, instead of helping the clients she had at the register, noticed us approaching and walked around the counter, blocking the entrance. When we opened the door to come in anyway she rushed to put up the seats (in an effort to deter us from staying?). There were customers at the register, payment in hand, when she did this and it was more than a half hour before closing time.While we selected our yogurt and toppings she loudly (stage whisper-esque) complained to the last of patrons whod been in line that it had been the loooongest day shed had in a while, saying she couldnt wait to go. If I had not already pumped my yogurt I would have left immediately (at that point she probably would have accused us of theft and waste). I understand any place can have an off night but this makes 2 unfortunate visits. We felt unwelcome and I see no need to spend my money where it is not appreciated.On another note, we left there and went to Moes (yes, instead of Chipotle a few doors away). It was a dessert before dinner kind of night and after eating our yogurt in the vehicle we were fully prepared to order something to go but with about 15 minutes before closing time they encouraged us to stay and take our time while cleaned up. We did not stay long but their courtesy was a pleasant contrast.

Pretty good, a little pricey, but what youre used to with the chain. Fresh fruit all day.

So I took my grandson to this location for yogurt. I’ve only had good service here once but I like to give local and Christian stores my business. NO MORE! Older lady with dark hair was there. Not very friendly for a Christian business.This location uses the sweet frog coupons but u have to choose before they weigh if u want the coupon used. The coupon said $6 to fill up white cup. If we fill it and only have $4 worth but don’t kno, the they make u pay $6. My grandson got his usual helping which is usually about $4. I let him have extra toppings since we had coupon. I was asked if I want to use the coupon, I said I’d like to if it’s not cheaper without it. She said her boss said she can’t weigh first. I have to decide which I want to do. So I chose to leave the cup of yogurt there. As I was ready to pull out of parking space, the lady brought the cup of yogurt out and threw it in tras while giving me a dirty look.We went to the sweet frog at townside, they did it right. Weighed first and told me it was better not to use the coupon. It was $4 and some change.I believe God holds all of us accountable. When we use His name (FullyRelyOnGod) to get ahead and then cheat people I think that’s just wrong! Towers location has lost my business. I will go to Townside near Sams from here on out!This reminds me of a sale at Once Upon a Child. Fill a grocery bag full for $20 or 90% off. We got 90% off which turned out to Be 2 extra large bags full for $16. But no one working would tell the customers it’s better to use 90% off. Just bad business to treat loyal customers like we’re ignorant.
